Logan made his way down to the front gate after a nice breakfast in the Great Hall. He sighed happily, and looked around. There weren't many people here today, which was nice because it was so peacefull. He sat down on the ground and looked up at the sky, realizing it was already February...which meant..Valentines Day...he smiled.

Jezzabelle made her way down to the gates and tried to ignore the fact that it was already February. It meant only one thing, Valentines Day....ew. She ran a hand through her hair which she had managed to curl all by herself. As she walked she spotted a very familiar Gryffindor.

"Logan!" She called out to the boy. It was like they had barely seen each other. How did that keep happening anyway? They were in the same house for Merlins sake.

Logan heard his name, and smiled at the familiar voice. "Jezz?!" he asked, standing up and spotting her. "JEZZ!" he yelled, running over to her and hugging her. "I haven't seen you in forever!!!" he said.

Jezz hugged him back and beamed, "I was just thinking the same thing. Where have you been hiding all term?" She for one had been hiding all over the place trying to avoid any serious stresses.

"I've just been hanging around outside most of the time." Logan said. "What about you? Last time I saw you was at the Start of term feast I think, and then it was like you went into hiding!" he said laughing.

"Well I went and spent a lot of time at the library. Trying to keep those grades up," Jezz said smiling. "I then went home for break..." she was stronger about all the things that happened now but she wasn't sure if she could explain to someone what had happened. "Then when I got back I just went back to all that class work and homework and its rare if I ever go outside." yeah she was sounding more and more like a Ravenclaw.

"Ohh. I haven't been to the library in a while!" Logan said. "Oh that's cool!" Logan said.

Jezz shrugged, "Nothing big really happening there." She then became really hyper and said, "I went to the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest and saw a unicorn!"

"Really? There has been a lot going on though...well that I've seen." Logan said. "You saw a unicorn?!" he asked. "Wow..that's cool! I saw a...Arcomantula.." he said, feeling the goosebumps again.

"Yeah. He or she, was black! Then the crazy Slytherin prefect came down and ruined all the fun," Jezz really had something against that girl. She hadn't been in the forest just on the edge. "What an Arcomantula? Is that like a spider?" She really should read her Care of Magical Creatures book.

"That's soo cool!....she did? That's too bad." he said frowning. "Do you know her name?" he asked. Then he nodded. "Not just a spider. A HUGE spider. It's...really scary." he said.

"No I don't know her name and I don't want to." Jezz frowned thinking about the annoying and slightly insane older Slytherin prefect. She really had hoped someone would put her in St. Mungos. However, if she knew her name then maybe she could send her to the much need help. She'd have to ask Kurumi about it. Ah! Spiders...creepy. "That's awesome though it's really creepy to think about a huge spider."

"Okay." Logan said with a slight nod. "Well I wouldn't want to either." he said chuckling, then shuddering. "Not awesome at-at all in my opinion. I hate spiders, no matter what size. I'll turn white as snow at the sight of the teeeniest one." he said laughing.

Arabella-Marie made her way down to the front gate and sighed she was finding her return to Hogwarts a bit stressful but that was due to the fact that she had owls coming up soon and she had yet started to study for them

Laura was walking around thinking about things and so wasn't looking where she was going, she then accidently bumped into someone. "I'm sorry about that." Laura sighed, hopefully the girl wouldn't be too cross with her. "I'm Laura Hope Hyde." Laura smiled at the girl.

Arabella-Marie was brought out of her train of thought when someone bumped into her and said "Don't worry about it Laura, I am Arabella-Marie Kingston but my friends call me Arabella for short"

"Hi Arabella." Laura smiled, this girl was nice, now though would she want to talk to a ickle firstie, most older students didn't expecially the Giant one's like Arabella. "How are you today?"

Arabella-Marie smiled at Laura and said "I am alright thanks Laura, how are you today?"

Laura looked at Arabella and smiled. "I'm good." Laura hoped that Areballa wasn't mad with her. "I'm glad your alright." Laura had no idea what to say or do next, she though Arabella was upset about something but didn't want to say anything to Arabella.

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Yeah no harm done and how are you finding you first year at Hogwarts"

"It's going great." Laura giggled, she had made a few friends and a couple of friends for life which was great. "So what about you? What have you been doing this year?"

Arabella-Marie thought and said "It's been going alright this year and i have been busy preparing for my owl exams"

Laura looked at Arabella and sighed, she was glad she had ages to go until her owls, she wasn't looking forwards to them at all. "So do you play Quidditch or anything like that?" Laura liked Football more than Quidditch though.
