Anya was busy once again wandering around. She still needed to find the perfect kite spot for her date appointment with Alec. She was quickly running out of time... mostly because she kept getting distracted by random things.

Ohhh! Duck pond!

Forgetting all about kites for a second she rushed forward like a madmanwoman small child. She knelt down next to the pond and was tempted to start duck calling.

Except, she looked around first and noticed her very favorite blonde.

"Alec! Look! There's ducks!"

And there was also that rude boy she meet over the summer. What was that kid doing? She eyed him for a second and then turned back to the pond.

Alec glanced down at his watch. She was running slightly late. But this shouldn't have been a surprise for him. He was used to her getting late occasionally. That's how their system worked. So he could just sit back and watch the ducks as they-

Oh look, there she was! Calling him and telling him that there are ducks in the duck pond. Ever the excited one, she was. "Very well observed, Anya," he said, grinning as he turned to look at the ducks. Look at them, waddling around being all... duck-like.

"It's a pity they don't know how to fly kites. I'd hate for us to have to beat them at kite flying." They seemed like they could just beat the kite flying champions at kite flying as well. With cheating and other nonsense.

And then the sound of someone screaming disturbed the ducks Sky had been feeding. SIGH. She looked around for whoever had made that noise, ready to give them an ear full for disturbing said ducks, and spotted the boy. "HEY YOU!" she yelled to get his attention. "I was trying to feed those ducks you scared off!" she continued. Really, didn't he realize that it was rude to scare off ducks that someone was feeding?!

Anya giggled. "What? I'm a bit excited." she said going over to him. She tugged on his arm to lead him closer to the pond. "Have you got any bread?" she asked him. "I want to feed them."

Possibly even pet them and give them all cute names.

But it was one step at a time.

She giggled. "Always the competitor." she said rolling her eyes. "It's the most fun when we beat the ones that have the super fancy kites." Nothing was better than beating those that spent hundreds of dollars on their stunt and trick kites.

"Have you found any good spots? There's a bit of a clearing by the lake that I noticed earlier."

Hearing someone shout out , Daichi turned around with a confused expression and noticed the girl looking straight at him. What had he done?! "Me?" he asked while pointing at his chest and walked towards her.

Maybe she just wanted to talk and get his attention by shouting? Must be it~! But as he stepped closer he cringed slightly when she continued. "But-but i didn't scare them off! We were playing!" he defended and pointed at the ducks that were back in the pond. "Buuuuut.." Awkward pause. "i'm sorry they went away while you were feeding them.." The ducks must not have liked the bread, hmpf.

He might start calling him that
 

Tyler tilted his head and looked at Tom as he spoke. It took a lot of effort on his part to really understand what the boy was saying but by the end of it, he supposed he got it. Why did he talk like that anyways? Tye supposed he was probably poor..not that he had a problem with poor people..but they talked funny..well this kid did any ways.

He nodded in agreement when the boy listed what they would need to make this trap. "I always have crumbs and if not we can get stuff from the great hall at dinner time."

What the boy said next had him frowning.

"No I don't have one, but I don't know how to magic box and all that..aren't you suppose to know how to?" Or maybe he was just a very big first year.

Tyler laughed as the boy scowled. He looked funny scowling." Well sounds like a plan then...what? I want fresh feathers not ones from the ground." Pfft.

Not have a heart? What was she on about? As far as he was concerned his heart was beating fine in his chest." I do have a heart..it's right here." He touched the area over his heart and frowned. Silly girl. She frowned and pushed her away again, harder this time when she hugged him. Why was she bent on hugging him? He didn't like hugging strangers and he got lots of hugs FYI. His mother hugged him all the time because he was her baby and his dad hugged him, Rhea hugged him, his grandparents..everyone bloody hugged him...now he was all hugged out." I don't want any hugs thanks, I get enough now stop hugging me." He glared at her at her next comment. "No I feel violated now." He said frowning.

"I will not let you hurt the ducks." Laura snapped at the boy, no she wasn't going to let the two boys hurt any of the ducks they could draw a picture without touching any of the ducks and so why should they be allowed to hurt a defenceless creature.

Laura suddenly had to steady herself as the boy pushed her, well two can play at that game maybe if he got wet he would realise girls have feeling and maybe then he would get a heart, she pushed him softly, she didn't want him to get all wet but if he didn't stop pushing her then maybe she would have no choice but to push him into the ponds but that would only be if there wasn't any other way of doing things.

Laura laughed when he glared at her. "Your cute when you get angry." she couldn't help but giggle at his next sentance. "Well at least we are getting somewhere, give me another 10 minutes and I think we might actually make you civil enough too talk to." Laura looked over at her sister before back at the boy.

So... he had a bag all along xD
 

Alec let out a small chuckle as he let Anya lead him closer to the pond. A little bit excited. Right! Anya was never a little bit excited. Especially about animals she thought were cute. Did she think ducks were cute? As for the question about bread... "I think i do..." he said, reaching into his bag and taking out his old Superman lunchbox, "Here." Now they could sit here and feed ducks instead!

"Of course, of course!" Alec said, grinning at his best friend, "That's true. Especially when the really rich kids are involved. They always think they're going to win against us." And then they fail miserably. Suckers.

Good spots? For kite flying... He didn't know. "Maybe somewhere around the grounds? There are plenty of grassy areas here and there," See? He had been right about Hogwarts being a castle with grass here and there. In a way. "I like the lake better. That can be our new kite flying spot!"

One of the best things about Hogwarts was the food. That wasn't even Ellie's opinion that was just a fact. Another thing was the grounds. They were so pretty and the end of summer air was pleasant. So Ellie grabbed a sandwich from the kitchen and headed outside.

Doing what she did best - eating and walking - Ellie wandered around, admiring the familiar things and... topiary things. Those were new. It was only when she heard quacking that she got confused. She paused and stopped chewing, listening closer. Yeah, that was definitely quacking. Following the noise, Ellie quickly scanned the area and. O___O DUCKPOND.

"Ducks!" She exclaimed to no one in particular and ran towards the pond. "Ohmygosh, they're so cute..." Ellie murmured quietly. Ducks were cute and distracting. She forgot about her sandwich. She didn't even realize her boyfriend was there.

Katie smirked, as much as she loved Ravenclaw she wasn't going to let them win without a fight, she liked winning, it wasn't everything, but it was always fun to win, no matter what others thought about winning, Katie was defaintly going to make sure they won the quidditch cup, because quidditch was FULLY AWESOME! yer it was, "Oh don't worry, we have this year in the bag, were going to have another threepeet have you heard?" Katie said back in a jokey way, that was so cool last year how Slytherin won everything, and they were going to do it again, because Katie was going to make the team for quidditch, and earn hundreds of house points, and for the gobstones, they won't want her help since she isn't that good at it.

"He's that mean is he?" Katie raised an eyebrow, maybe she shouldn't meet him iif thats true, but then again, she might be able to bring out his nice side, right? Katie laughed as Erin asked about that it was Katie's OWL year, "Unfortunately" Katie joked, she wasn't looking forward to it until she had studied properly, "Well, not really, I need to pay attention in classes and I need to study a lot, but I just can't get myself to go down alone and read books about stuff, though I love reading, I love reading fiction" Katie shrugged her shoulders, it was never fun to study.

Katie laughed, "Nah" Katie said, she tried to remember Nora... Nora, wait, she had met the girl! But only brefely so they hardly knew each other, "Now that I'm think about it I do know her, we were serpent sidekicks" Katie nodded, she loved that program, she hoped she got a lovely newbie this year. THE LIZARD HAD NO NAME?!?! OH NOES!! Katie had to help with name ideas!! But was Katie full of name idas? Not really... at least not for lizards that is. She looked to the left and right, was it bad that the only idea she had was Duck? She wasn't going to tell a girl to call her lizard Duck, would she? Katie has done some crazy things before, is this another one? "Duck" Katie laughed, she was joking, unless Erin actually did actually called it duck, then she wasn't, Katie started to think of odd names for the lizard.

A sudden yell got Dallin's attention, and he turned sharply away from staring at a swimming duck to see Ellie running at him. Or running at the ducks, probably. Since she had yelled 'ducks.' Not to mention she was hardly ever that excited to see him. :mellow:

Folding his arms, Dallin watched her for a moment before deciding to make his presence known. So, fighting back an amused smirk, he wandered around the edge of the pond in Ellie's direction. When he was a few yards away from her, he spoke up. "So, you see the ducks but you don't see me?" His intention was to sound offended... but his tone was more amused. There was a reasonable explanation for that, he was sure. The ducks had been making more noise than Dallin had... they were more noticeable. Yep.

Oh now he was confused? "Yes, you," Sky replied. She was looking right at him!

Really?! Did he not know that ducks were scared of people screaming? "Look, you screamed, they flew," she said a little calmer now after seeing him cringe. Okay, she could've been a little nicer about it. But she loved feeding ducks! "It's okay, just don't do it again, please. And sorry for being such a brat about it." See there's her nicer side, back again!

Exploring Hogwarts!

Something Logan had been anxious to do ever since he found out he was a wizard. The first place outside that he decided to visit was the Duck Pond. It seemed like a nice place to start. He took a seat on the rocky ledge and watched the ducks swim around.

Was THAT Amelia?

Zayden had been out taking a jog around the grounds when he spotted a rather familiar blonde splashing around in... a pond? Okay, he wasn't sure if the fact his girlfriend was in a pond full of ducks was unusual or the fact there WAS a pond full of ducks.

He slowled his pace down to a walking tempo as he came up to the duck pond and, after eyeing some of the ducks, as if to say 'STAY AWAY', he looked towards his girlfriend. "What are you doing, honey?"

... did she know ducks PEED in that pond?

Cardigan,firstie at Hogwarts,decided to explore Hogwarts.She would probably get lost,but hey,better than not exploring!She decided to go to the Duck Pond first.She wasn`t fond of ducks but they weren`t fond of her either.What better way to taunt them!And,as if it was magic,Logan was at the pond too!She ran over,sat next to him,and said,"Hey!How was your first day at Hogwarts?"

WAS THAT HER BOYFRIEND?! :whaa:

"ZAYZAY!!" Amelia waved enthusiastically at him as she kept splashing around and then she started playing with the ducks again. "What does it look like I'm doing?" :mellow: Honestly for someone smart he could ask some pretty dumb questions.

The duckies were so cuuute and feathery and goshjustlookatthem!. Ellie was flailing internally. She already looked like a goofball standing over the ducks and cooing at them. That wasn't really normal. Ellie just didn't see ducks all that much, so whatever.

As she watched a duck walk in front of her, Ellie held as still as possible, slowly reaching her hand out towards the duck. "Come here, my feathery friend..." She said quietly.

And then out of NOWHERE appeared some bloke with heavy feet. Mr. Ellie-and-Duck-bonding-time-RUINER. As soon as he spoke, the duck quacked and flew away, startled by boy's sudden approach. Ellie snapped back up in a standing position, her mouth agape.

"What was that for?!" She asked in a loud, accusing voice. And that's when she realized. "Oh. Hey, Dallin." Ellie said casually, regaining her composure. Then she started picking chunks off of her sandwich and tossing it into the pond for the ducks to eat. Hehe.

Logan smiled as soon as he saw Cardigan. "It was great!" he said. "And yours?" he asked.

Byes!!
 

"It was good,"Cardigan replied.She would have better days.It was only her first day so she didn`t know much people.Well,not yet at least.

Zayden couldn't help but place a smile upon his face when Amelia called out his nickname. He had to admit ZayZay was a waaaaaaaaay better nickname than Zadeypooh, which his sisters had given him oh-so many years ago. In all honesty, he loathed Zadeypooh. It reminded him of that muggle show... erm, what was it called? Pennie the Pooh? Did he LOOK like a bear?

"Miakins," he called back out with the same ethusiasm. "It looks... like your bathing with the ducks but, let me tell you, it's not wise to bath in that water. The ducks do pee in there." He was just saying.

The Slytherin settled down in the patch of grass now near the edge of the water just as his girlfriend mentioned that he should get in there. "Ducks don't like me," he replied. "Neither do most animals." Especially his cat. "I think I'd just rather sit here and watch you play."

...Well. Dallin hadn't been expecting that. He stopped short, his eyes widening at Ellie's tone. He really honestly hadn't meant to scare the duck away, but there was like a dozen other ducks around here and Ellie really shouldn't miss that one very much.

Then she got all casual. Dallin frowned, crossing the remaining distance between them quickly and stopping just out of reach of her. "Hey, Ellie," he said, still frowning as he looked at his girlfriend. He glanced from her to a duck that was coming closer to them. He could see why she was a little upset that the other one flew away. After all, Dallin had been excited to come see them too. So he understood.

Amelia gave a bigger splash now, and got her skirt soaked with water, but she supposed it was okay because her clothes would end up drying and she could use magic if she was really in a hurry. "Zayden, why do you have t be such a party pooper?" ^_____^ You could say that about the ocean and fish peeing in that water. And turtles!

"I think you waaaaant tooooo." And she started moving towards him now. heh.

Dallin was frowning. Siiiigh. Ellie grinned and nudged him in the side with her elbow. "Oh, lighten up. I'm teasing, you goober." Yeah, he was a goober. "I'm happy to see you," she said, stepping forward. Ellie reached up and pinched his ickle cheeks before kissing him lightly.

And then her attention went back to the ducks.

"Aren't they cuuuute?!" Ellie giggled, walking back to the edge of the pond. There were so many. Ripping off another chunk of her sandwich, Ellie threw it in the pond. It hit a duck in the head and she giggled as she watched it shake it off and nom on the sandwich.

"Dallin, come try this it's fun!" Ellie giggled again, waving her sandwich at him. DUCKIESWERESOCUTE.
