Sorry it took me so long to reply; can't find where your post was.. -.-" Quote:
Ooh! A Ravenclaw! Janice only knew 2 or 3 people in Ravenclaw, and the lot seemed to be very nice people. "Yeah, I'm a Hufflepuff!" she said proudly. Being in Hufflepuff is the best thing that could ever happen to her, in a good way. |

She gave him a look as he'd spoken again, even hypothetically suggesting he'd thought she would have said she didn't like him. Especially as it brought back the point last term when she'd thought he didn't. That wasn't anything she even wanted to consider again. "I more than like you," she corrected, finally getting past the moment and letting a small smile creep across her face as she remembered the park. That was a much better memory than that Potions homework from last term. And then he'd distracted her even more by correctingher use of the term 'normal', and she giggled. "That's true. Although I was just talking about the fact that so far it's been mostly just lessons. Nothing odd's happened yet." Her giggles calmed down as he'd picked up on her mention of OWLs, however, and an apologetic look crossed her face. "I think we got distracted by other things this summer, once we were in the same place. But I did really well. I got mostly Outstandings and Exceeds Expectations, but at least I managed to pass them all," she replied. She wasn't forced to drop any classes for failing the exams, at least. Even if she still felt like she was horrible at certain subjects. She was still hoping he'd help her with Runes. |
Adam headed down to the duck pond an spotted them all floating in the water, enjoying their peaceful life. The air outside was slightly warming up in the early afternoon, but thankfully he had some of the water to cool of his feet, at least he wouldn't be burning up entirely. He had finally found some time to just relax by himself. Having had to go to the Hospital Wing for a final check up an getting used to the fact that he actually 'patrolled' corridors, which had found himself going to classes more regularly. Perhaps getting lost had a good effect as he found himself near the classrooms. With one quick glance Adam saw the shiny little badge on his shirt, how different it felt to wear it. |
So now there was a duck pond too? Wondering around the school grounds once again, Nessie stopped when she saw a pond full of ducks. They were really adorable, and Ness couldn't resist but to take a closer look at them. Looking at water she took of her shoes and walked in up to her ankle. It felt nice and refreshing. It was only a few seconds later that she realized the reason why she had really come here was standing right behind her. "Adam!!" She said giving him a hug. When she pulled back something shiny caught her eye. It was a badge..not just any badge it was a prefect badge. Nessie opened her mouth in shock. Really her big brother Adam a prefect she couldn't believe it she thought he was a trouble maker. "Your..your..a prefect." It was all she could get out of her mouth. She immidiately thought of the other Gryffindor prefect. Kurumi probably wasn't happy about this at all, it was just a little surprising. |

When she let go it sounded as if she were equally as speechless an surprised as he had been when he got the news. "Ye-yeah." Was all he could say for the moment. He was probably as confused as she was, but he accepted the title. "A little bit..umm..surprising...I guess." Adam, the trouble maker, the arguer, the losing friendships Adam, a prefect. Honestly, he couldn't get over it. "I guess I am prefect." He said once more, now pinching the badge an looking at it again. |
Pouting, Ness doubted whether Adam was really glad to see her or not. She couldn't help but think of the incident they had over the summer. It was rather frightening to think how Adam had been eyeing those love potions and now that he was prefect, it would be horrific of him to use such a thing on someone especially on Kurumi."Yeah..course you are" she said a little sarcastically. She sort of gave him a stern yet worried look and then she looked back at the pond. Without realizing it Nessie sort of burst into laughter. This had to be a joke, it couldn't be. She wouldn't believe it. "You are joking right?" She had to ask just to be certain, even though it was very likely of him to pull pranks. "Prefect Adam..this can't be true." She giggled a little more. The day that Adam would be a prefect was probably the day her best friend came back to life..which would be literally never. He was just such a joker and he was always causing some sort of drama..or unless he had a really well behaved good side that Ness hadn't seen properly yet. It was ridiculous, Nessie bit her lip and then looked out at the pond once more. She saw two ducks swimming along together like they were a couple. It sort of made Ness think of the boy she liked, but then she stopped herself. She didn't want to think about him, because she doubted that, that someone felt the same way as she did. She looked at Adam again. He'd know how to tell if a boy liked her right? "Erm...Adam..erm..how do you know ifaboylikesyou?" She went a little red, it was a pretty awkward subject to talk about with her big brother, but hopefully he'd have some answers. |

‘No, the lab is closed!’, Gwen said, in a very ‘can you imagine!?!’ kind of way, just like muggles announcing some important thing on the news. ‘Oh…’, she then mumbled, realizing that Jory was probably just mocking her. Awkward moment- 1—Gwen-0. ‘She told me’, Gwendolyn said, remembering how long the conversations with Ari about her holiday in Hawaii were. It really isn’t necessary to hear it again, she thought. ‘I spend some time at home…’ The usual. ‘Umm… and then I was on vacation with my parents. I also met a few friends-‘ Ari’s mom was probably sick of her already. Since we are talking about holidays- ‘I’m not sure what I’m going to do now. My dad had to go to Egypt the day after I arrived at Hogwarts, and I thought of joining him sometime. But I’m not sure I could skip school’, Gwen mused. Maybe it won’t be so bad if they choke. They are just ducks. Annoying ones, she thought and looked back at the creatures. Shew. ‘What?’ O________________________o ‘There’s a theatre?!?!’ ‘A lot of things have changed this year. I didn’t even get to see all of them’ Let’s see… ‘I also heard there’s a vegetable patch aaand the topiary garden. That one is beautiful! Have you seen it?’ |

Katie laughed, yup, she knew, but Ursula had just popped into her head and she had to say it, because she was awesome, duh! She had no more ideas, so she shrugged her shoulders. Beezus? She sounded firmilular... Oh that was Baudelaire!! Katie smiled, she should really be heading to the library to study, "Have fun with Baudelaire kay? Say I said hi please, and it was nice to meet you too Erin, and of course your lizard" Katie smiled, looking at the lizard. |

The duck started to walk back to wherever he has come from and Nikolas followed him to discover a pond. A very pretty pond. It was definitely relaxing he could actually come here and take a nap after classes once in a while. A girl was sitting on the rocky ledge and he knew who she was, walking closer to her he poked her on the left shoulder and sat to her right. He wanted to see her reaction when looking back and not seeing anyone. Heh. "Hey" he smiled. |

Amethyst walked down to the Pond, slowly but surely as she plopped down on the ground. She curled up into a ball, crying her eyes out. What had she done wrong? Why did he have to play her of all people. She trusted him and he betrayed her. It's was going to be over soon, anyway. She was leaving soon. No use in wasting her tears here. |

The girl's sigh pulled him out of his reverie and contemplating. What WAS it with that book she was reading? It looked to be quite...frustrating to say the least. Tilting his head a little so that his head was now resting on his right cheek, Lewis glanced back at her with his eyes slightly narrowed. If only he could read the book's title. That was all he needed. I see? Lewis looked away from the book for a moment to raise his eyebrows at her upon hearing her reply. That was all? Well, this was certainly different. Everybody else had always said something like 'nice to meet you' or something. He had always wondered, how they all knew that it was in fact NICE to meet him. They usually didn't know him so. Strange. This girl seemed to share his opinion on this though. Or she just didn't bother saying so many words to him. "I see." He echoed her previous words with a small smile playing around his lips when she introduced herself to him. Sylia it was then. His green eyes flickered up to her hair as she - almost a little anxiously? - ran a hand through it. And then with a sigh as if this was the most difficult thing in the world he finally asked what he had been wondering all along. "What are you reading?" There. She had started the whole talking thing so he got to ask questions too, right? |

She snapped the book closed, now agitated with all her muddling thoughts. Reading that, dealing with the curious boy before her and her mindful duties, it was to much at the moment. Leaning to the side, she picked up her Oxford bag and tossed the book inside. Bringing a bag that had absolutely nothing in it but a few flyers was not one of her brighter ideas. She chucked the pencil inside as well before closing the bag up and tucking it behind the rock she sat upon. Maybe now she could be at peace. No, she couldn't. The boy was still there. Staring at her. Raising a confused eyebrow, her eyes looked over him. Why was he smiling at her? Wait, was he mocking her? No man, nor boy has ever mocked her, or at least to her face. Did he have a bone to pick with her? "Fowl or Foul." She answered strongly. He probably never heard of it, though she wondered why he even cared to ask. Boys were curious things. "It's a book on Hippogriff brutality." She would be thoroughly surprised if he knew anything on the Hippogriff freedom movement going on. Then again most people didn't. Ignorance ran high right now in the magical community, much to her disappointment. Wait, what if he did know something about it? Or maybe he would want to help change it? Flipping the hair that fell over her shoulder, her hands started rummaging once again in her bag. Taking out a slightly bent and crumpled flyer, she smoothed out the edges on her lapm tossing her bag to the side once more. 'Fight for Freedom!' the headline said in large block letters, matching well with the light blue paper. A drawn picture of what seemed like the iconic fighting lion, similar to the ones on family crests, stood a replica of the very same but with the features of a Hippogriff. Under the picture was more information about Hippogriff rights and then information about a meeting. Sylia couldn't help but bring a small smile to her lips as she traced her fingers over the Hippogriff drawing. Shaking herself out of her little moment, she slowly got up from her rock and inched closer over to where the boy was sitting. Sylia had no idea how to go about this, so she reached out her hand towards him to hand him the flyer. "Here. In case you know anything about the Hippogriff movement." If not she just looked like a psycho. |

Although Adam had shared some of the emotions Nessie was laying out on the table at the moment, he was still hurt by her laughter nonetheless. He gave her a stern look an replied in a offended voice, "It's true, I am. I wouldn't joke about something like this. If it makes you feel better, what you're feeling right now, those were kind of my first emotions an thoughts, too." He shrugged. The thought of him being a prefect an Nessie laughing at him lingered in his mind until Nessie spoke up in a slightly flustered voice. She was asking about a boy."What?" He asked in return, half confused, half amused. "A..boy...might like you?" He asked himself more. To be honest he wasn't quite sure, well he an Kurumi sort of just clicked from day one, though they questioned themselves an their friendship. This must've been a test of hers or something. "I guess, if he seems to tease you a lot those might be his ways of hiding his feelings for you. Or if he starts to spend extra time with you, maybe outside of class it means he's looking for you an trying to get to know you better. Another can be if he seems really interested in stuff you say, your conversations an such, an begins to like the same hobbies and interests you have he might have or is starting to have feelings for you." At least he thought, an had read in teen magazines back when he was in 'muggle land' where advice on boys or girls where written into the issues. |
