I am a genius she laughed, however how this plan is to be implemented is up to you, she nodded, I can do the odd potion and distract him, if I'm merely in the same room as him he sees red she nodded. And often attempts to punch me she nodded again |

He tried to punch her? Grr, just grrr. Sheridan was his fellow Crusader, nobody nobody touched her. "He fails though of course?" he asked knowing she would never let anyone punch her. |
Yeah, but who cares he'll hate me even more she laughed, noting the sour look his face turned, yeah she said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world, I kneed him in the goolies and turned his top pink. "Proud of you Caped One." he grinned. Kneeing a guy was a smart move, eviiiil but smart. |

He smirked and shrugged. "Well this is your personal vendetta, I'm just along for the ride." he chuckled. "I'll back you up in your wicked schemes." Oh yes he would, just like he knew that Sheridan would help him with his enemy. Heh. |
Pff of course Sheridan nodded, smirking, she was joking but, she thought, she could get one from those muggle thingies...theme parks. True she nodded, but I feel you should be heavily involved in the planning she nodded again, so, whilst your helping me, who am I helping you with? She asked, wiggling her eyebrows menacingly |

Oh his enemy? He smiirked and shrugged. "Well I haven't got an enemy just yet." Just an irritating, rude girl but still. Not an enemy. Yet that was. |
She nodded, le genius she grinned jokingly, pointing to herself, no he's very ego-ish she said, tilting her head to one side, that didn't sound quite right, but she didn't care and very alpha male she continued Oh I see she nodded, okay who do you have a slight dislike too? She asked leaning against the wall |
Wandering aimlessly through the back alleys of Hogsmeade, Jae had suddenly realized he had absolutely no idea where he was going. Katie had told him exactly where they were to meet, but he didn't know exactly which way he had to turn. Hoping he didn't get lost, the young man thought it was best to stay put. His cousin would find him eventually. Looking to his left, he watched as his wheaten terrier sniffed around the perimeter of the alley they were standing in, as if he was hoping to find something interesting. Unfortunately, there was nothing fun in a dark alley. "Unless ya found her in one of those corners, it's not worth it Albie," Jae whispered to his dog. The newly turned sixteen year old sighed deeply and sunk to his knees in front of Albert and closed his eyes. |
Quote:
Who knew why he was late? For all she knew, a group of frilly girls could have attacked him with their bubbly pink powers and could at that very moment be threatening to hold him hostage until Merlin knew when and/or why. Of course, she didn't really believe that was a real possibility. But nonetheless.. "Oh, good. There you are!" The brunette spoke clearly into the dark Alley, pausing at the entrance. It was Albert that had caught her attention, but the Gryffindor on the ground was a close second. She stepped closer, offering her hand. "Jae, what are you doing? And hello, Albie." |
Jae rubbed his closed twilight blue eyes as his dog sniffed him as if to ask him what was wrong. Jumping at the sound of another's voice, the young man grabbed his cousin's hand and stood up slowly. "Just...makin' sure the ground isn't...cracked." What a horrible excuse. Did he really think she was going to believe that? No. She was too smart for that. She had rarely seen him like this; so vulnerable. He was supposed to be strong and know exactly what to do in every situation that was thrown his way. Not this time. This was big. This was bigger than all of them. While all of these thoughts were going through Jae's head, Albie couldn't help but try to pry the attention away from his owner and onto himself. He did everything he could to get Katie's eyes off of Jae, but it was useless. "Erm...how're things with you Katie?" James asked, running his fingers through his unnaturally messy hair. Looking at the young man, he looked worn, he looked older. Obviously, he hadn't explained yet, but Katie was about to get an ear full. He just hoped she was ready for it. "Anythin' new?" he asked hoarsely. This isn't workin'. She knows somethin' is up. |
Helping Jae to his feet, the Hufflepuff's eyebrows raised. "Yes, because that's normal. Wouldn't want an old woman wandering down a dark, damp Alley to trip and fall on a crack, now would we?" By all means, it was not a real question and she was in no way expecting a response to that. She was, however, expecting an answer to.. well, she wasn't even sure - Why exactily was he acting funny? Blinking her dark eyes, both confused and willing her eye-sight to allow her a better vision in the darkness that surrounded them, the Little Mae didn't dare take any further steps into the Alley and kept close to the strip of a sun ray that just touched the side of the building behind her. Who knew what could be hiding in the dark? "Decent, I suppose." Katie mused, studying the very grown, very weary figure of her usually wonderful, happy-go-lucky cousin whom she could just barely recognize now. It was definitely Jae. He had the same too-tall (to her) height, same dark hair and pretty blue eyes, but he looked tired. Physically and mentally drained, it wasn't like him at all.. "No.. well, yes. None of that matters, though. James, what is it? What's going on?" His expression alone had given it away. It didn't help that she hadn't heard from him in months, nor had she heard from the other boys except for Danny and Orlando. Somehow, she knew these two problems were not related. |
James swallowed hard and scratched behind his ear. How was he going to break this news to her without either of them having a total meltdown? It was impossible. They were both going to flip out, but in totally different ways. Jae knew he couldn't keep his composure for too long without either wanting to break down and cry or wanting to destroy something. Time to tell. "Well, ya know how Leah was seein' tha' French guy? Don't rememba' his name, but...they broke up not long ago. I assume ya know tha'." He paused to clear his throat. "She's gone Katie." He couldn't bring himself to speak anymore. He knew he had to explain, but he had to get his thoughts straight first. Obviously he left her hanging, but his voice wouldn't come out. He tried speaking, but no sound emitted from his throat. Finally, he spoke. "He took Leah. He took her away and I dunno if I'll ever see her again. He got mad, real mad Katie. He took her because he wanted her for himself and himself alone. She didn't want tha'. She didn't want tha' at all. So he kidnapped her. There's no way to tell where she is. Dusty, Rocco, and their father are all lookin' for her now. Tha's where I've been. Lookin' for her." He spun around after his explanation, unable to look into his cousin's eyes any longer. Not long ago, Jae had revealed to Katie that he was in love with Leah, one of their best friends. At the time, Legend was dating her. Being the nice guy that he was, Jae didn't do anything about how he was feeling. The last thing he wanted was for more drama to be brought upon their group of friends. Right after Legend and Leah broke up, Leah started seeing a French boy she had met away at school. Jae never liked him. He thought there was something fishy going on with him. Obviously he was right. "I shoulda said somethin' when I met him," he whispered as he banged his head against the concrete wall of the alley. For some reason he blamed himself for not seeing the signs that this guy was bad news. But that's who Jae was. "I dunno wha' to do Katie," he said softly, in almost a whisper. "Wha' if we neva' find her? Wha' if I neva' get to tell her how I feel about her? Wha' if I can neva' get a chance to hold her? Wha' if I neva' hear her laugh again? Wha' if a perfectly good human being has been taken from our world and we'll neva' know for sure?" He paused and closed his eyes. "I dunno if I can take the thought of tha'." He rubbed his forehead and sighed. "She's been gone for one week, six days, and seven hours." Yes, he counted the time. Turning around, he made eye contact with his cousin. "I can't take this. Wha' am I supposed to do?" |
"Yes.. of course I know," Slowly said the brunette, dark eyes fixed on the young man, her moment of confusion showing visibly on her face. Was that it? Why in the world would James Maguire be upset that Leah broke up with the Ex. Of course she already knew.. what - "What?" WHAT?! Katie stood still, frozen in shock. What did that mean, exactily? Was James trying to tell her Leah took him back? That she'd run off with him?! No, no. That couldn't even be.. they'd talked not that long ago, after the break-up. There was a reason they broke up! But then.. Katie's breath caught in her throat, tears threatening to form in her eyes. No. No no no! "She didn't.. Leah couldn't have d-" unable to utter the word, Katie merely focused on Jae as he spoke. No. She wasn't dead. Her teeth clenched, despite that. Anger was quick to replace the sad feelings, hands tightening into fits at her sides and eyes narrowing ever so slightly as if she could just imagine the boy and what she'd like to do to him. Whether or not she was actually doing that, while still listening intentively to James, was not for anyone to have to know. Unless she actually got her hands on the wacko criminal of a young man. She should have known something wasn't right. She had just seen Leah two, three, four weeks ago and upon returning home, she had owled her (with Julian's help with the actual owl part, of course) but had gotten no response,.. she should have known. Remaining silent even after Jae finished, Katie raised a hand to pinch the bridge of her nose and inhale deeply. Deep breaths, in and out. They were good. "Julian or Monique would know his name." She murmured, dropping her hand to her side with a controlled, just barely composed look. Heck, the SCHOOL would know his name. In case the Aurors out searching for her didn't know, either. "Don't say that. They don't know yet, but they'll catch a lead and they'll find her." Yeah. That was how it worked, right? Surely. "James!" Katie practically growled, attention diverted from her thoughts at the sound of something solid hitting something else equally solid. The Hufflepuff was quick to move to his side and push him away from the wall, putting a distance between it and him with her in the middle, hand outstretched toward him as if to stop him from coming any closer to the side of whatever shop building it was. What WAS it with boys and brick walls?! First Legend, now JAE? Merlin's moldy old beard, he was the LAST one she'd expect that from. "That is not going to help Leah! Don't say that!" Katie knew he was desperate and breaking, both on the inside and out, his guards down and defeated. And though she put on quite the show, inside herself she was fighting every awful emotion running through her and refusing the tears that wanted to build up. "You will do all those things, Jae. You will. Don't say that, not now and not ever! Leah is not gone, she is missing but she is not going to die! They are going to find her and she's going to be okay, Leah is a strong girl - one of the strongest I know, and she's smart. Nothing is going to happen to her, they are going to find her and she'll come home once and for all." And the teenage criminal kidnapper? He was going to get what was coming to him, too. It was funny how the phrase 'if looks could kill' suddenly had a double meaning. Looking directly into her cousins face was enough to break her heart further, as if that was possible at this point. Sighing, running a hand through her unruly curls, Katie pushed them away over her shoulder and stepped closer to James, taking his hands in hers and squeezing them. "You are going to be strong for her, Jae. You are going to be your rashional self again, as much as you can be, to help assist in thinking of anything that can could lead to bringing her home. And you know what?" She gave his arms a gentle little shake. "When she does come home - and she will, - you are going to tell her everything you should have before. Or I am going to do it for you, and that may just turn out a bit more awkward than what's necessary. Do we understand each other, James? There is no what if's; Leah is going to be okay, they are going to find her and she is coming back to us safely." Leah was not going to die. That wasn't an option. "You've got to be strong for her." |
Once Jae spilled the beans about Leah, a whole whirlwind of emotions emitted from Katie. He was prepared for that, which was strange seeing as he didn't seem to be ready for anything lately. When she mentioned her brother, he perked up a bit. "Julian. Yes. He'll know his name." He made a mental note to send an owl to him later. Or perhaps even pay him a visit. He was allowed to go where ever he pleased now. His mother felt he was old enough to take care of himself since he would be of age the following year. That was one of the few things he was happy about. He nodded, agreeing with his cousin. He didn't really look like he was listening what with the glazed over look he was sporting, but he was taking in every word she said. She wasn't dead. Katie was right about that. Leah was too strong. She was a brilliant witch. There was no way this guy would be able to harm her if she still had her wand. One thing that did concern Jae was that he was quite a large guy. Muscular. Strong. He could easily pick up Leah's petite body and carry her away with no worry at all. He assumed that was how she was taken in the first place. "A lead? People disappear all ova' the place everyday. She's just as insignificant to the authorities as the otha' people who 'ave disappeared lately. Tha's why I've been out there. There 'ave been clues, yes, but nothin' tha' will bring her home yet," he said a bit loudly. He was getting angry. He sort of shouted at Katie when he said all of that. Thankfully he noticed and gave her an apologetic look. They'll find her. Katie was right. She was going to come home, unharmed. Traumatized, yes, but not harmed physically. She would heal over time. They just needed to find her first. Then another thought popped into his mind. "Katie, if I find her and he's there...how will I...contain myself?" he whispered through clenched teeth and a crazed look in his normally calm twilight blue eyes. He knew she would know what he meant. The last thing he'd want would be to go to Azkaban, but what else was he supposed to do? Just let him go with the authorities and that be the end of it? No, there was no way he was going to let that happen. He was going to let this guy know he messed with the wrong person. He was going to make him pay. Time to practice some curses. He burst out laughing for a split second then shut his mouth. "Rational. Funny. I can barely rememba' wha' tha's like..." he trailed off. Before this happened he was the rational, reasonable person in their tight knit group of friends. Now he barely knew who he was when he looked in a mirror. "I know wha' it's like now," James said softly. "I know wha' it's like to be an auror, out there lookin' for somethin'. Dunno how they do it." By 'they' he meant his cousins. They risked their lives everyday and managed to stay their happy-go-lucky selves. He had no idea how that was possible. The physical toll their work took on a person baffled Jae. He finally understood what he had been wanting to understand for so long. He now regretted it. He raised one of his dark eyebrows at his cousin, a small, familiar smile playing across his lips. "I will tell her. And you will not. Tha' would be extremely awkward and not exactly 'ow I pictured it in my head," he chuckled. Katie was right. He had to be strong. He had to find Leah and bring her home. Easier said than done, right? Nothing in life was simple. That he knew. His father had taught him that from a very young age. "I know, I know. It's just...hard. I'm so angry. Obviously strong and angry don't go hand in hand," he huffed, a little annoyed at that logic. He sighed, letting a ton of air out of his lungs. He then leaned forward and kissed his exponentially shorter cousin on the forehead. "Thank you." |
He was right. People did go missing regularly, Katie was aware. It wasn't that she hadn't been thinking about that, Katie refused to think negatively on the subject. As soon as she knew, the information went from registering with her brain to keeping a confident, absolute positively SURE attitude. Because there were no ifs, ands or buts about it. Rather than respond to his shouting because she completely understood where it had come from, the Hufflepuff merely let him vent. Giving a slight nod to the apologetic look, Katie assured once more, "Not yet. But they will." That was a good question. One that Katie couldn't give the 'right' answer to, if there was such a thing. And instead of trying to come up with the right words to say, Katie shrugged. She was nothing, if not honest. No matter the situation. "I have no idea, Jae. I can't honestly say I'd expect you to, or if I were in your shoes that I would.. actually, that's a bit of a lie; I know that I wouldn't even try to stop myself from doing something I should logically regret later." She'd dug herself a hole not that long ago, that even recently she continued to dig bigger and bigger. Katie could only hope Jae did use whatever rashional part of his brain that was left and didn't take what she said as advice to go forth and curse the idiot-Ex, now idiot-kidnapper into his next life. "You just have to try. Focus on Leah and her well-being, even then and let the adults handle him. Think solely about her, would you want her to see you react in such a violent manner?" Katie's frown deepened. Jae was really losing it, wasn't he? Not only did he seem sleep-deprived, but he was just.. losing it! Suddenly, Katie knew there was a chance he was going to do something stupid if they didn't find her soon, or given the opportunity when they did find her.. if they found them. "You have to try," She insisted, "You will remember one day. But for now, you must try! For Leah, Jae. I know it's not easy, but it's important." Katie was beginning to wonder why the men let Jae come, besides his determination to go - the fact they'd have to physically stop him from coming along. It didn't seem healthy for him at this point, but part of her thought she knew. Who could tell someone like Jae linked to someone like Leah, that they couldn't come help search far and wide to rescue her? "They're trained long and hard. They know what they get into in that career feild. And if they don't, they would eventually.. it's not for the weak of heart, I guess?" Again, she shrugged. Trying to hide behind logic and be the rashional, calm one wasn't working out so well. In that small moment, Katie saw a sincere, real smile form on Jae's lips. No matter how small, it was a smile. It felt like a victory to her, that was for sure. A small smile of her own appeared, turning into a slight smirk when he told her she would not be telling Leah for him. "Good, as much as I love Leah and you.. I'd rather NOT partake in that, I have my own teenage dramas of the heart to deal with, thank you very much." Yes. Plently of that! "I know and that's okay. That's understandable, you should be angry and.. yeah, no. Not the best combination, but you are only human. Just like the rest of us, you can't expect the world of yourself and I certainly don't. All I am saying is channel all those emotions into something productive that's going to help you to keep from imploding and get Leah back." Katie was sure he already knew that, but.. well, best to make sure and remind him. Watching with the ghost of amusement as the Gryffindor seemed to deflate, Katie's nose wrinkled as he kissed her forehead. "That is the Jae I know and love," She announced, giving a slight nod of her curly-haired head and, letting go of his hands, wrapped her arms around him. "Always." |
Quote:
He raised one eyebrow thinking. "At the moment?" Hmm.... "Justin Hendricks." he winked. Her enemy was his enemy. |
Gracie <333 Well obviously Katie wouldn't stop herself from doing something completely irrational. She was quick to do things without thinking. Jae just hoped he had enough self control to keep his hands off the guy who stole their friend. And she was right. Would Leah want to see him in such a violent manner? He had never shown that side of him to anyone. He had barely shown it to himself. He never got this angry. These emotions were new to him. He didn't know how to handle them. That's why he came to Katie to talk. She would remind him that he was the rational one in their group of friends. "Am I goin' crazy?" he asked as he ran his fingers through his messy hair. "I know all of this is important, but it's...surreal. I don't feel like me-self. How am I supposed to act like me if I don't feel like me?" Jae looked a little desperate for some sort of answer from his cousin, but he knew there was no logicality in what he was asking. "Ya know, I wanted to be an auror. Afta' tha', I'm not so sure. I 'ave no idea how Dusty goes to work like tha', everyday. I can't...I can't do it." He paused and pat Albert on the head, who had just made himself known again by pulling in the hem of Jae's shirt. "Guess I'll 'ave to start thinkin' about anotha' career huh?" he chuckled. "I 'ave to go find her." Jae nodded, as if reassuring himself that was what he had to do. "I'm supposed to be meetin' Dusty and Rocco in northern Ireland lata' today. Apparently they've got a lead. I've told them not to make a move until I can get there. They're scoutin' out the area righ' now," he informed her, a hint of urgency in his voice. "Hopefully they'll find somethin'." James smiled. Not just any smile, but his familiar, award-winning smile. He felt a bit more like himself after this talk. Luckily for him, he and Katie sort of evened each other out when it came to their different emotions. He took in the hug Katie gave him with a bright smile and closed eyes. It was nice to feel something familiar. He hadn't seen his mother, father and siblings in about two weeks. The only people he had been with were Dusty and Rocco, and occasionally Leah and Rocco's father, Kyle. They all were different people while on the job so it really wasn't like he was with family. The young man was about to kiss her goodbye and depart, but then a sentence stuck out to him, something that Katie had said only a few moments before. "Wait...ya 'ave some teenage dramas of the heart of your own? Did somethin' 'appen?" he asked, raising one eyebrow and smirking. That sentence just wasn't something his cousin said without a reason behind it. What could have happened within the two weeks he had been gone? Something about one of their friends? Danny? Orlando? Legend? One of those names stuck out more than the others. He instantly remembered a conversation he and Katie had in one of the corridors about one of those names. Legend. |
Braeden was completely lost. Exactly how he'd ended up in here, he didn't know. He'd been looking for Honeydukes and... well, by the looks of it, he made a wrong turn somewhere. You'd think by now the boy would learn to carry a map around or something, with his ridiculously poor sense of direction. But no. Instead, he was stuck in a dark, creepy alley that smelled like... rotten cheese or something. Urgh... Bringing a hand over over his nose, the boy pulled out his wand and whispered, "Lumos!" lighting his way further into the alley in the hopes of finding either a way out or a miracle. The hand holding his wand shook slightly. Not because he was scared, of course; he was a Gryffindor! He was just... Absolutely terrified. |

He turned around slowly, his heart in his throat and his brown eyes widened than ever before. For the love of Merlin! He almost died! He hadn't even heard her come or anything, what if it would've been... a death eater or, worse yet, a dementor?! (Yeah 'cause death eaters and dementors like to just randomly stroll around Hogsmeade). "Caroline?" the boy's voice came off hoarse as he watched the light of another wand approach, and as it came closer, he was able to make out Caroline's delicate features forming before him. At the sight of her, he sighed in relief and allowed himself a goofy smile. Whew. "Merlin, I thought something was out to get me..." he muttered with a soft, though slightly nervous chuckle, shaking his head slightly. Then he remembered again where they were. "What're you doing here?" he asked, raising a dark eyebrow at the girl. |
Quote:
Quote:
She had been walking down the main thoroughfare when she saw a flash of light in an alley. Always one for adventure, the girl wandered down the alley towards that light. "Oy!" she said as the disgusting smell of garbage wafted in her direction. Eventually she found a two students, both looking somewhat distraught. "Hey..." she said quietly, approaching the small group. "Are... are you OK?" she asked. They both looked scared, which Ellie found silly, but wouldn't tell them that. |
Quote:
And then the mystery silhouette spoke. It was a girl. Whew. Yeah, a girl couldn't be a death eater... Braeden gave a relieved lopsided grin. Wait - girls couldn't be death eaters, right? Now he looked a little horrified. But as he was able to make out the girl's face he was convinced she was, in fact, harmless. Or so it seemed, anyway. "Yeah, we're fine," muttered the boy with a small smile. "Just... a little lost. Well, I was anyway," he confessed with a bit of a sheepish grin. This girl didn't look too lost and he wasn't sure about Caroline but he had a feeling she had a better sense of direction than he did. "You?" he asked curiously. "Just a fan of strolling through dark, creepy, smelly alleyways on the weekends?" he asked, half teasing. |
Quote:
She looked back at the twisted series of turns she had made to get to this location. Living on a large farm had given the Ravenclaw an excellent sense of direction, and making her way back to the street would be no problem. She looked out ahead of her, past the group of lost students. She resisted the urge to rush that way. "I'm Ellie, by the way," she said, advancing passed the other students towards the darkness that lay before them. "What led you down here, anyways... besides your terrible sense of direction?" she added sarcastically. |

Caroline's eyes widened as Brarden jump, gosh she didn't mean to make him jump. She smiled never the less, Brae was just goofy like that. As she came closer she could see his brown eyes and face. Thank goodness it was him and not some crazy person, or worse. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." She said as she walked over to his and put her hand on his elbow. She blushed. Ever since that bump on the head, making her think something pretty crazy things, it was a bit arkward being around him never the less she did love the guys company. She moved her hand away quickly. "I was just heading to Honeydukes and saw you down here. What are you doing here?" She asked curiously. "Merlins pants" She half shouted half sceamed and she jumped 10 feet. this was to the place to come up behind Caroline Scott without clearing your thoat or coughing at least. "Hey! Everything fine" She smiled at the girl |
Quote:
He watched absentmindedly as the girl walked past them, apparently quite interested in whatever she saw further ahead. Braeden only saw darkness. And then she was introducing herself. He couldn't help but grin when she did; this was the second Ellie he met this term. "I'm Braeden," he shared with one of his goofy grins. "And this is Caroline," he added, referring to the pretty blonde girl beside him. And then Ellie was asking if they were there because of their (or his, he wasn't sure who he was referring to)... terrible sense of direction?! Heeeyy! That's not very nice! Braeden's jaw dropped - not so much from offense but from... well, how frighteningly right the girl was. However, as a proud little Gryffindor "I wassss... I was looking for... something that I... dropped somewhere here... last term," he explained slowly, making up each word as he said it, completely forgetting that he had confessed to being lost just a minute ago when Ellie had first stumbled upon them. Oh yes, Braeden Stonem was Hogwarts's smoothest liar. Quote:
Despite that incident a couple days ago with the whole... confusion, shall we say, Braeden still found it easy to be his goofy self around Caroline. He knew she'd only been confused, though he'd be lying if he said he hadn't enjoyed the confusion while it lasted. "Well, ladies," started Braeden suddenly, feeling a lot more calm now that he wasn't completely alone worrying about dementors breathing down his neck. "While I am enjoying this chat in this... very pleasant place, I'd say we move somewhere a little... well, at least somewhere where there's less rats," he muttered the last bit as he caught sight of something moving on the floor and pointed his wand at it, only to find it was a couple rats scurrying down the alley between the students' feet. |
Caroline nodded as Braeden introuced himself and then her to Ellie. She threw her hand up and gave a small wave to the new girl Ellie. She just listen for a moment as the other two talked of misdirection and whatever rubbbish around being lost and so forth. Rats oh lord, darkness she could take but not rats. She nearly jumped into his arms getting away from them "Ok, I'm all for a change or scenetry. Let's go" |
Quote:
Quote:
She jumped a little after she felt something scurry at her feet. She pointed her wand down, glad to see it was just a rat. Only a farm girl wouldn't be bothered by a rodent at her feet. Clearly the other crowd wasn't of that mind. "I think we ought to head elsewhere. Hate for this odour to follow us for the rest of the day." |
Quote:
Quote:
As both girls agreed to head on somewhere a little... brighter and less rodent-friendly, Braeden turned and began to lead the way to what he believed to be the way out. Two minutes later, he was lost again. Feeling rather hopeless, the boy turned to Ellie; she seemed to know her way around better than him or Caroline. "Er... which one's the way out again?" |
Caroline shrugged "I think I came from mmmm.... That way. no That way" She pointed to her left and her right. How did she get lost. Oh yeah, she really didn't know why but she is. She turned to Ellie who seemed think a girl who never gets lost "You know?" |
Quote:
Occasionally, she turned around and made sure she still had Braeden and Caroline behind her. "It's not far now..." she said, observing the others looked a little fatigued. Shortly after she spoke, she started hearing the hustle and bustle of the main street. She leaned against the side of the alley entrance and waved her arm towards the main street. "Hurray!" she said dramatically, though for her two companions, they probably felt it genuinely. "After you," she said to the others, who were eager to get out of the dark alley. |
Three Broomsticks, anyone? ^.^ Quote:

Luckily for he and Caroline, though, Ellie had taken the lead and now guided the other two through the darkness of the alleyway, passing through small crowds of rats and other undesirable creatures that liked to dig through the trash and junk that crowded against the walls of the alley. And then there was light. Braeden found himself grinning as Ellie led them out to the Hogsmeade streets, filled with other Hogwarts students and - most importantly for the boy - fresh air! He took a deep breath and smiled in delight. Oh yes. This was where he was supposed to have ended up ages ago. "Anyone up for some butterbeer? It's on me," offered the boy, turning to the two girls with a smile. He sure could use some right about now, especially when the weather was getting so chilly. |

Walking down the main street of Hogsmeade was easy. It was getting into the alley without being noticed that was going to be hard. Mia was all bundled up in her winter clothes, with a scarf covering most of her face and her hair tucked up underneath her beanie. She glanced around the street, trying not to look like she was up to no good and then slipped into the alleyway. She walked about halfway up before leaning up against the wall. Standing with one foot pressed up against the wall, Mia shoved her hands into her pockets and watched the steam form in the air each time she blew out a breath. Merlin she hated winter. Hopefully she wouldn't be kept waiting TOO long. |
It really wasn't all that hard to get to where she needed to go. Mostly since her pace and posture gave the impression that she was not in the mood for conversation or random stares. Wearing dark jeans, black boots, and a dark pea coat with a grey scarf wrapped around her neck, Evelyn pulled out the hair tie from her hair, letting the dark curls fall around her shoulder as she paused in front of a shop right next to the dark alleyway. Glancing at the window for a moment as if checking how she looked, the Slytherin was actually using the window's reflection to make sure there was no one looking at her before she moved into the alley itself. Besides, she already knew what she looked like. |
Marie knew that if she was going to make it to the back alley unnoticed she would have to dress in something that no one would recognize her in. So that's what she did. Instead of wearing her usual Slytherin robes and scarf today she was wearing the Ravenclaw robes that belonged to her boyfriend... the ones he had left her sitting on on the pathway. Sure they were a bit big on her but that was okay, that just made it easier for her to hide in them. Hood up and covering most of her face she looked around to make sure no one was watching her she quickly made her way into the alley. Head down but eyes watching where she was going she stopped when she came to the Mia and Evelyn standing there. "So, what's this about? What's so important that you wanted to meet out here?" In the freezing cold. Hmm, where was Destiny? For once Marie wasn't the last one there. |
If it was easy for Evelyn to to get where she had to go, it was TWICE as easy for Destiny. She was used to being all sneaky like. A pro was more like it, but she was not one to boast about those things. With the hood of her jacket pulled halfway over her face, Destiny slowly made her way down the street to Hogsmeade, occasionally stopping to play statue when someone turned around to look behind them. Either the people really did think she was The Thinker or they just thought she was just crazy and chose to ignore her, because they all turned back around and kept up their walking. Sweet! It only took her about an hour to finally arrive at the alleyway and pressing herself up against the wall, she sidled her way in. Coming to a stop when she reached her friends, she slowly pulled the hood off her head and glanced around. "So, where's the body?" Because that was the only explanation as to why they would meet in a dark alleyway. Mia had killed someone. |
Of course the first to arrive would be Evelyn. She could just tell that she was the punctual type. A punctual type with a sharp tongue. Mia was almost tempted to poke her own tongue out at the girl. Instead she pulled out her wand and raised an eyebrow at Evelyn. "Would you really like me to conjure something? You do remember charms class last term, right?" Well at least they would be warm. You know with their bodies on fire and all. And here was Maire. "Never one to beat around the bush are you hun?" She let out a small laugh as she looked her friend over. "What on earth are you wearing?" Yeah the blond definitely looked better in green than she did in blue. Mia was tempted to tell them what she had in mind but she decided to wait for Destiny first. Waiting. Waiting. ... .... Finally the last of their group decided to arrive and before Mia could tell them why they were here, Destiny was asking about a body. Blinking a couple of times, she stared at the girl and then shook her head. She was not going to dignify that with an answer. Mia looked at the three girls with a hint of mischief on her face. "Ever heard of the game truth or dare?" Yes? No? Not waiting for their answers, Mia went on. "That's what we're going to do today. Won't that be fun?" |
Matching the Hufflepuff, Evelyn raised an eyebrow as she stared at the girl's wand for a moment before looking back to Mia. "At least there will be a fire." she replied, smiling ever so slightly before turning to see who was joining them. For a moment, she thought someone random had followed her here, when she could've sworn that no one was watching. But no, that was Marie. Marie in...Ravenclaw robes. "Did you get robbed or something?" she asked, staring at her friend in concern. Or did she go mental and forget which house she was in? Having been too busy trying to figure out what happened to her friend, she didn't notice Destiny walking over to them until she spoke up about...well, there was no doubt that Destiny wasn't someone using polyjuice potion. Only she could ask something like that. Eh. Actually, she would have preffered that there been a body instead of what Mia just suggested they do. ... She was not amused. "We came all the way out, in the snow and cold, in a back alley, to play a silly kids game of truth or dare?" Oh how this year has been. |
Marie looked over at Destiny when she arrived. O___O What was she talking about... a body? Leave it to Destiny to ask something like that. Rolling her eyes at Destiny's question she looked over to Mia when she asked what she was wearing. "What does it look like I'm wearing. A disguise silly. I wasn't sure what you were up to so I didn't want anyone to know it was me sneaking back here." She looked down at what she was wearing. She thought she looked pretty darn good in blue. Not that she wanted to wear it all the time, but... O__O Robbed!? "What makes you think I got robbed?" Just because she was wearing her boyfriends robes? Pfft, she was doing it to be all sneaky like, so people would think it was a brainiac Ravenclaw that entered the alley. "A game? I wore this disguise because you want to play a game?" Not that she really minded what she was wearing. She just wouldn't let her friends know that one. "And what is in it for us if we play this game?" If Marie was gonna have to tell the truth about some things or do a dare there better be something in it for her. |
Okay. They needn't spell it out. Destiny got the hint that there was no body. The looks she received and their lack of even answering her told her that. Plus, there were no shovels. Anyone who ever watched the muggle box knew that where there is a dead body, there are shovels. "No body. Got it." Just for clarification purposes and all. Turning towards Marie, she waited to hear the reason why she decided to wear that HORRIBLE Ravenclaw robe. The answer was not what she expected. She was waiting for the answer to be something like 'I miss my boyfriend so I decided to wear his robes to feel close to him', but THANKFULLY it was nothing like that. "We were supposed to wear a disguise?" Why was she just finding this out!? And why wasn't Evelyn wearing one? Or Mia? GAH! Destiny was just soooo confused! And she only became even more confused, if that was even possible, when Mia mentioned playing a game. "Is this like hide and seek? I like that game." Especially when she played with her Grandmother. Grandmum Tole never looked directly behind her. |
When did they become such whiners? Okay Destiny wasn't. Mia knew that she would be up for anything. Turning to look at Evelyn, Mia pointed her finger at her. "Yes I did. Because you need to get away from the books for five minutes and have a bit of fun." She then turned her finger to Marie. "You need to stop worrying about your relationship woes and have some fun too." Finally she turned to Destiny and dropped her hand and grinned. "I pretty much knew you would be up for anything and so I couldn't possibly leave you out." Was that assertive enough? She would look pretty stupid if they didn't take her seriously. "Now we are going to play and you are all going to enjoy yourselves." Mia paused to look at the three girls and raised her eyebrows just daring them to contradict her. Although she didn't dare glare at Marie for too long because that girl might just get physical. "Now since Destiny was late. She can go first. Truth or dare." Then realising that the girl didn't know the game, Mia went on to explain. "You pick one or the other. If you pick truth, we ask you a question and you have to answer it truthfully. Bear in mind we can ask you anything. If you pick dare then we get to dare you to do something." |
A disguise? Well, that was true. Who'd think Marie would wear ravenclaw robes as a disguise? Evelyn sure didn't! "Your choice of outfit pretty much." she muttered, staring at BLUE-ness. Where did she get those anyway? The laundry? They at least better be clean. Unless...she robbed someone else to get those robes. Yea, that seemed more like Marie. Crossing her arms, Evelyn looked back to Mia, only to see a finger being pointed at her. MEH!? She would argue with the Hufflepuff but, what she said was true. Fresh Aw well, Destiny was going first. Hehe. Smirking over at her friend, the Slytherin girl moved past Mia, and glanced down the rest of the alley, more towards the sides on the ground, all the while keeping her ears open on the conversation. There has got to be something here to burn. |
WHAT was with the finger in the face and since WHEN was Mia so assertive? If Mia wasn't a friend of hers she would break that finger for her. "For your information I do have fun." She just hadn't done it in a LONG time. "And what would you know about relationship woes anyway? You have the perfect boyfriend." Sure, her boyfriend may not be around but at least she knew he cared about her which was a hell of a lot more than what Marie could say about her boyfriend. "And what's wrong with my choice of outfit?" She asked glaring at Evelyn. "Why are you all so worried about what I'm wearing? Have you forgotten that my boyfriend happens to be in this house? HMMM?" Geez, the way they were acting you would think she had gone off and killed Merlin or something. Ha! Destiny had to be the one to go first in this little game of Mia's. "Sucks to be you Destiny. Choose wisely. Who knows what evil this little Puff has up her sleeve." She said looking back over at her all of a sudden fearless friend. Maybe she should yell BOO at her and see how fearless she really is. |
Eeeep! Mia was doing that finger pointing and Destiny did not like it at all. Sure, it was okay when she was the one pointing the finger, but having a finger pointed at her? Not cool. She watched with wide eyes as she first pointed at Evelyn and she might have nodded at what was said. That girl did study too much and it wouldn't be as bad if she didn't try to get everyone to study with her. Destiny would know. Her eyes widened even more when Mia pointed to Marie. That was just.. She shouldn't have done that. Did the girl not know what she was capable of!? Apparently not because, not only did she point, she mentioned relationships and Destiny had the sudden urge to lunge at Mia and shut her up. And she probably would have if Mia didn't turn to her and.. HA! Destiny didn't get a finger pointed at her. Grinning and choosing to ignore Marie and her sudden CRAZED OUTBURST, she watched as Evelyn walked away as she thought about which to pick. Truth or dare? It was a hard decision. One, they could ask her anything and two, she did hear Marie mention the evil puff having something up her sleeve. "Ugh.. ... ... truth?" She would rather play hide and seek. |
permission given Eh...that actually worked? Mia was quite shocked that Evelyn agreed with her so fast. Of course she knew Marie would argue with her. "Marie." She said with a sigh, "I just wanted you to have some fun." Was that so bad? Although she had to suppress a smile, yeah she did have the perfect boyfriend. Turning to Destiny, Mia raised her eyebrows and waited for the girl to choose what she wanted to do. When she picked 'truth', Mia grinned. "Chicken." She said with a laugh before stepping awway from her and taking Marie and Evelyn with her. The three girls conferred for a moment before turning back to Destiny and Mia was still grinning. "Okay so here's your question." She paused for dramatic effect. "You have to tell us where all your chocolate hiding places are." |
Meeep! Scowling as she was dragged into a huddle, the Slytherin stuck her hands in her pea coat jacket to get them a bit warmer and not so blue looking as she spoke with the other two about what to ask Destin- wait. She picked truth? What a chicken! However, that frown turned upside down when Mia asked the Slytherin girl the very, very important question. BWAHAHAHAHA! Oh yes, Destiny had to tell the truth. THE TRUTH! |
Marie went into the huddle with Mia and Evelyn to discuss the question that Destiny would have to answer. She knew Destiny would be too chicken to pick a dare. Oh well, now they would be able to find out her inner most secrets. Once they had agreed on the question she looked over at Destiny as Mia told her what it was. "Yes Destiny, WHERE do you hide your chocolate?" Hehe, should have chosen the dare Destiny. |
we are not pleased. :P Well, DUH! Everyone that attended that one Transfiguration class knew that Destiny was a chicken. Quite literally. That had been fun and if Mia hadn't dragged Evelyn and Marie over to the corner, Destiny would have told her all about it. As she waited for them to come back with the question, she started to wish she picked dare instead of truth. What if they asked all these crazy questions? What if they asked about.. something that she didn't want anyone to know!? Sweet Merlin! She was so stupid! Perhaps she could just run away while they were over there discussing things? She HIGHLY doubted they would all chase her. Over not answering a question? Destiny wouldn't do it. But, before her feet could move, they had returned. AND OH GAH! THEY HAD ASKED THE WORST QUESTION IN THE HISTORY OF WORST QUESTIONS!! It was all Evelyn's idea, Destiny KNEW it. They should have played hide and seek instead. Kicking an imaginary rock out of frustration, Destiny heaved a very deep sigh. "Fine, fine, FINE! But just so you know, I will find more hiding spots. You might want to sit down, too." Yeah, sit on the snow, they were going to be here for a while. "Well, there is some under my mattress, in my trunk, in some socks..wrapped, of course. Some under Evelyn's mattress, and some under Marie's mattress." SIGH. "Hidden in a few suits of armor, buried out on the grounds. Don't tell the groundskeeper!" PLEASE!? "Oh, there is a box in the lake! I thought about putting some in the owlery, but I changed my mind. Under some sofa cushions in the common room. Do I have to tell you about the places at home, too?" Because she would like to leave the alleyway before it got too dark out. |
Hehe... Destiny was not happy at all about giving away her secrets. Oh well that was the name of the game and she had agreed to play. Not that Mia had given her much choice in the matter. As the girl started to list all her hiding places, Mia's eyes grew wider and wider. Maybe she should have sat down. It seemed as though they were going to be there for a while. How many chocolates could one girl eat? And where did she put it all? When she had finished there was a moment of silence while they all digested this piece of information. Mia looked at Destiny and then turned to look at Marie and Evelyn. She raised her eyebrows and a mischevious smiled tugged at her lips. Without saying a word to any of them, Mia hightailed it out of the alley way. There was FREE CHOCOLATE in the suits of armor!!! |
For Gözde! :) Hands shoved deep in pockets, Evan walked behind the shops in the Back Alley to get away from people. For some reason, he liked to hang out in creepy dark streets to be alone when he wanted to think, and with his prefect badge neatly pinned on his robes weren't exactly giving him the peace in crowded streets. He usually felt some eyes on him to be the example and blah blah. He couldn't think straight, obviously, when he felt eyes on him. Kicking a pebble artistically, he sighed and sat down on the edge of the sidewalk. Drawing his hands out of his pockets, he folded them in front of him, and looked around. Yes, perfect peace. |
Quote:
Anyway... At least there seemed to be no one to shoot him weird looks because of the deep scratches on his handsome face. Actually he did not mind people staring at him but as Josh thought they were mostly staring at the wounds on his face, it made him feel a little bit annoyed. Had not they seen any wounds or scars before? While the Gryffindor was thinking of what they would do if they had seen him yesterday when he was covered in blood and feather as Patroclus and Carter found him, his dark brown eyes spotted someone sitting alone. Aha! Cheerfully smiling, he approached the boy with quick steps and when he recognised who he was the smile turned into a grin. Then loudly whistling to take his attention, Josh stopped right before him. ''Ah! You definitely look like you need help, poor Cartwright.'' BAHAHAHA! |
Quote:
Half-jumping to his feet--because he didn't like looking up at the boy and thus being quite vulnerable, Evan didn't even realise his hands had formed into fists. He did notice his body getting tense though. However, after a moment, he relaxed, even if it was only for his body. His mind was still alarmed with adrenaline level going up every minute. Matching the boy's grin in front of him, he said "And you definitely look like having found your lesson." He didn't know how he got those stratches and stuff, and he hardly minded. He didn't even care if they hurt or not. All he could conclude was that Josh had infuriated someone again, and that someone had been harsher than he was last year. "Though, Chicky, it also seems you haven't quite learnt how to respect your... superiors, yet." Grin. |
Quote:
Did not this petite snakey have enough brains to figure out that he is getting himself into a quite serious trouble? Apparently not Watching the Slytherin's hostile reaction to him, which Josh did not really mind since he kinda shared his thoughts, the lion boy did nothing but smirk at him until he spoke. Obviously he was talking about the wounds on his face and Josh could not say that he enjoyed any comments about them. Good or bad. It did not matter. So, for a moment, he thought that maybe he should have paid attention to those people who wanted to help him with the scratches. ''Not really'' then the Gryffindor replied with the same smirk. There was nothing on earth to deter him from doing anything he wanted to do. Yes, that was the truth. Plus, physical pain was not among the things that he cared about. But he did not think that Evan needed to know these. When he heard his next words, Josh immediately wore a fake confused expression and looked around as if he was hoping to see something. ''My superiors?'' he asked looking back at the snake prefect. ''I cannot see any.'' Then he laughed some and coolly put a hand on the other boy's shoulder ''I warn you, mate. Be careful and do not make me feel the need to take you to the hospital wing.'' |
Quote:
Keeping silent, he just observed his face with barely refraining from breaking into a smirk. Nope, he wouldn't show his delight at seeing Josh beaten. But he could talk about it, no? Yes, obviously Josh wasn't keen on talking about them... sad or him. Rolling his eyes at the stupid acting of Josh, he said "Probably because you're too silly." His hands clenched into fists again as the other boy took him by the shoulders, but he didn't flinch. He only shot a glance at the hand on his shoulder, and then flickered the blue eyes back at the boy as he started talking again. "Well, I warn you mate. It wouldn't be wise to take a prefect to hospital wing." Shifting his weight to his other leg, he let the badge on his chest sparkle in Josh's eyes as if challenging him. He was almost sure Josh had noticed his badge, and if not caring was what he wanted to choose... well, his wish. Evan'd be more than happy to make this wish true. And it wouldn't end well for him. |
Quote:
He actually dared to call Joshua Carter silly. He should have been a Gryffindor. Hehehehehehe. But of course this idea was a bad joke as well as a fantasy for obvious reasons. It was already annoying enough to be in the same building with him so Josh could not imagine how it would be like if they were living in the same common room and dormitory. Luckily, he was living down in the dungeons away from him so the lion boy was not forced to kick him everyday. But there was one thing that bothered him some about that: also Evelyn was living down there in the dungeons. And this meant to Josh that, since it could not be said that the two boys liked each other, there was a possibilty he might try to mess with her. That is, of course, if he knew that she was his girlfriend. Pfft! The whole school knew that. Hmm... ''Or maybe there's no such person alive'' he replied confidently trying to push the image of Evan trying to approach Evelyn with any intention out his mind. Then coughing at his face some, intently of course, he listened to his warning with a light smile on his face. ''Really? Why? Do they become cowards right after taking the badge? Hmm?'' The next moment, Josh eyed the Slytherin's prefect badge which he tried to make sure that it was spotted. If he wanted it to be realised that much then it gave Josh a funny idea. ''Well...if that's the case. Lemme save you from that problem'' And acting pretty quick, the Gryffindor boy caught the shiny badge, forced it off his clothes harshly. Once he managed to steal it, the boy ran away as fast as he could while laughing hard. |
Quote:
"Too confident, are we?" he observed with an eyebrow up. Something was very wrong with these Gryffindorks. They all thought so high of themselves. Someone must teach them some manners. First it was Sebby, then Josh. If it wasn't for his precious badge, both of them was getting their faces re-shaped. Taking a big step back when the dork coughed on him, Evan intently wiped his face, exaggerating it. Nothing had landed on his face, luckily, still, if they were exaggerating their moves. So be it. "Oooh, don't you worry. No courage is lost on my behalf," he said with a sweet smile. He was quite bluffing now. With that badge, all he could do was to speak or call a professor. And right now, none of these would save him. Running away wasn't even an option. He had to figure something out quickly, or, of course, settle down and be mild headed. Cocking his head to a side, he frowned at Josh's words. Save him from what? Then it hit him, but it was too late. They say traumatic things happen in slow motion. That is a huge lie. That only happens in Hollywood, because they have the technology to slow actions with their fancy cameras. In reality, Evan couldn't even react to the snapping hand of Josh which stole his beloved badge. He was fast enough to reach out for his arm though, but all he could do was to wipe his cloth. Letting his wand out of its holster, he started running at full gallop after the boy. He had been the fastest and the one with the best stamina in Academy, he should catch him in the end. "Get back here you--" he yelled after him. Raising his wand, he was about to hex, but then thought against it. He was a prefect, he should be sensible. Keep running at full gallop, he'll slow down at some time. |
Br-Br-Braaae There was one phrase, and only one phrase, running through the forefront of Theodore's mind as he wandered into the darkest, dankest area of Hogsmeade that he had ever encountered: Constant vigilance. This area of the small village rather reminded the Ravenclaw of Knockturn Alley, which he had merely glimpsed during his trip to Diagon Alley in August. This place looked just as foreboding, although it was much less populated than Knockturn Alley. Well, if there was one thing that the sixth year had learned from his recent experiences, it was that there was no reason to be terrified of everything. For Merlin's sake, he had just made the quidditch team and had nearly completely conquered his fear of heights! If that wasn't a victory over his frightened nature, then Theo didn't know what was. Sweeping his hand into the pocket of his faded jeans, he produced his wand and held in tightly in his grip, just in case something or someone ran across the path of he and his tour guide, Braeden. "Hogsmeade has been excellent so far. This place is just a bit... shady." He spoke, craning his neck at the sound of moment that turned out to be a rat scuttling behind a garbage bin. "I like it, though. It's quiet. Much quieter than your beloved Three Broomsticks." He snorted, one corner of his lips turning up with satisfaction. After journeying to the famed pub for a butterbeer, Theodore wasn't sure when he would return and wasn't all that bothered about it. A lot of the bar-goers were rowdy, egged on by their mates and their glasses of various liquors, and rather than being intimidated, the blue-eyed teen had been rather disgusted. Added to that the hollers and screeching of most of the banshee-esque students that attended Hogwarts and Theodore was bent on never stepping foot inside again. |
Quote:
"Anyway, on the other end of this alley we should find Dervish & Banges trust me, this is the shortest way there from The Three Broomsticks," said Mr. Tour Guide. So far Braeden had done a surprisingly good job at showing Theo around; with his goofy nature and excitement, he was able to show off everything the little village had to offer with a very positive light. However, it was when he decided to try new things - like this supposed 'shortcut' - that things usually went wrong. So nothing good could come out of Braeden leading himself and Theo through the creepiest part of Hogsmeade. And, being the cowardly lion that he was, Braeden jumped and hugged his companion every time a rat passed by or the tiniest, most insignificant sound was made. |
Quote:
"Are you sure this path is the best way to go? I want to make it back alive, mind you." Narrowing his eyes, he gazed into the distance as he saw a few figures up ahead. Raising his wand to eye level, he peered away. What if they were murderers, or robbers, or gangsters?! His fears that the filth of New York had instilled in the Ravenclaw came back to haunt him. Over there, it was every man for himself while on the crazy streets. "Keep your wand at the ready." He muttered out of the corner of his mouth. Hopefully, in case of an attack, the Gryffindork would be able to help in the fight, if he ever managed to release the 'claw from his grip. For once, it seemed like he would have to be the brave one while Brae cowered slightly behind him. Oh, how the tables had turned. |
Eh…and I am where, exactly?, Gwen asked herself after having noticed that this street didn’t look at all similar to the main one. This place is creepy, she thought, determined to find her way back-soon. Because her sense of direction was ‘phenomenal’ (that’s why she got here in the first place), she couldn’t find her way back. Great, that’s just great… |
For anyone. ^_^ (VM me, please?) With face slightly flushed because of walking fast, Joćo didn't really pay attention to where he was going. He had come to Hogsmeade with big hopes to find somewhere enjoyable, and yet all he had found was people. LOTS of people. EVERYWHERE, with UNBEARABLE chatter and laughter. His feet got stepped on THRICE in ten minutes and at the last time he was going to kill the little boy, had his mother not been with him. To avoid any more accidents, he had walked fast, maybe he, himself, had knocked a few people down with a hope of finding somewhere peaceful... ...and there his wish came true. Finally, this street seemed deserted enough to be at peace. With a relieved look on his face, he walked the street slowly until he found a nice, relatively clean spot to sit by the main road. Sitting down, he closed his eyes for a moment to enjoy the silence. |
Adam is going to try and be civil but no promises made Quote:
He turned down it, hoping maybe there was a chair or something he could sit on and just not think, but the pleasantness of the place was incredibly short lived when he spotted none other than Joao in it. Well...didn't his day just keep getting better and better. Adam would have turned around and exited stealthily but there was really no point...Joao definitely had seen him since they were facing each other, and Adam had promised that he was going to try put "their differences aside". Although in all honesty with the mood Adam was in, he didn't see that happening any time soon... |
Quote:
"Hi there, amigo," he greeted with a wave, a tone of condescending in his voice and smirk. "How are you? Such a beautiful day, sim?" |
Quote:
Deep breath Adam. Be. Civil. "I'm doing alright...and yourself?" Adam asked, impressed that the words were able to come out quite cheerfully despite his prickly demeanor. Adam was bundled in his own black jacket, and had his hands shoved into his pockets. "I'm surprised you aren't here with Louisa," Adam said, giving the boy a rather neutral look. "It seems like a good place for a date...is she meeting you here or something?" Perhaps the boy thought that he could have the satisfaction of telling Adam of Louisa and his situation himself, but it was unfortunately for him he was not going to get that satisfaction. Adam was stuck in a kind of linger position where he couldn't figure out if he should be clocking the boy in the face or attempting to get to know him better for the sake that him and Louisa were a relatively new couple and he figured that they were going to be together for a while. |
Ryan was lost.He had wandered around Hogsmeade and followed a path leading to where he was....... lost.He looked around,it was dark danky and very scary. He thought someone would come so just wait |
Quote:
He was doing alright, was he? Without departing his eyes from his face with that mocking smirk on, he wondered for a moment whether he was hiding his fists in the pockets of even his wand. This alley was dark and far enough... getting up in a swift half-jumping motion, he let out a nasty, almost spoilt chuckle. "Oh I'm great, thanks." So Louisa had told him. Hardly made any difference. "We'll be meeting soon enough, don't you worry your loser self with such details." His nasty smirk got bigger. "And I'm surprised you are even here... but I guess that's what losers do, spying on the others they can never be." It wasn't an insult even near his standarts, but English limited his ability. If only he knew any Portuguese. |
Quote:
Adam merely stood there, looking at the boy as he called him a loser, this rather snide sense of victory playing across his features. Well...alright then. "Um...spying?" Adam said with a little chuckle. "Hardly...you're not interesting enough to spy on, and if I wanted to see Louisa I could just ask her to hang out and she would seeing as were friends." The whole time Adam spoke his voice was calm and even, honestly too tired to even bother with all of it. Here Joao was, still trying to pick a fight...didn't it matter to him at all that Louisa cared about him? Apparently the boy didn't care at all, because if he did, he certainly wouldn't be calling him a loser and such. "Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go and check out the shops. Have a nice time on your date." |
Ronnie walked back to the alley, she had never been here before but had decided to head there. It was empty. Everyone else was out in the streets. |
Anyone? So she was supposedly in Hogsmeade right? But she didn't know the path she was treading. Was she really in Hogsmeade? Seems so, for there were some students passing around. Those ones that she didn't have the chance to talk to before. Gaaaahh, just where was Erin? She should be there with her, the girl knew about Hogsmeade more than Beezus. Yet sadly, her best friend has gone AWOL. "Looks like I'll just need to find Madame Puddifoot's tea shop myself," she chirped as she took light steps with her head bowed and eyes on her shoes. She needed to find that shop now. They sell ice cream. |
me! X) Quote:
Ah, Maybe she need to turn back to her previous road. Raven stared at a girl who she ever met before. But, she forgot what's her name. "Hey." |

Beezus can't see the face of the person, but she was sure it was a girl. She wasn't even sure if the greeting was aimed at her. Maybe I should just continue walking. I might even embarrass myself if I find out I wasn't the one that person was calling out. Then she started pacing through the alley again. |

Weird girl. |
After a few steps, Beezus halted and turned around. The silhouette of the girl wasn't there anymore. 'Was she even real? Or just my imagination?' Beezus asked silently. If that person was indeed true, then again it was a good choice that she walked away because whoever it was wasn't calling her for if they did then that person should've called her again. So, she concluded that it wasn't her that person was calling. Suddenly, she frowned. She was way deeper into the alley and it was obviously darker there. She couldn't even see anything. 'Just what did I got myself into?' "Errr--hello?" Beezus murmured. "Anyone there?" |
For Stan :) Jez had run as far as Hogsmead, and then had absolutely no idea what to do next. She stumbled into a back alley and sat down on an overturned crate, her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands. Oh man, what was she doing?! Since when had running away ever solved anything?! Jordan and Nate were probably wondering if she'd knocked her head recently, the way she'd left them at the duck pond. Jez swung her backpack off her shoulders and set it down next to her feet. The clothes inside made a soft thump as they hit the ground. She pulled Scott's jacket tighter around herself, leaning her head on her shoulder and letting her tears soak into the jacket. She was one messed-up problem kid, that was for sure. |

He leant next to the now crying girl and spoke softly, "Jez, you can't run... Not now, we can't let you leave us." he said, probably speaking on behalf of himself and Nate & Pam. "Was this one of your options you came up with in the summer?" he asked. |

Glancing around the alley, Jez found herself remembering the rubbish tip in Diagon Alley, where she'd almost died. She didn't remember much before Than's horcrux had been destroyed - vague memories of voices and people - but she did remember lying on the ground with her friends and Jordan commenting on the less-than-glamourous location. "I seem to have a thing with back alleys, don't I?" said Jez, smiling ruefully. She leant her head against Jordan. "Thanks for finding me. I assume you followed me on my little trip around the school?" |

"No problem," he smiled at Jez. "I lost you a coupler of times back there, but I found you in the end!" he laughed slightly, "You had me and Nate scared though for a little bit I think." |

She wondered what her life could be like if she did survive past eighteen. She could get a job, get married, have a family of her own. That would be nice. Safety, security ... she smiled. Yeah, right. Jezabel couldn't see herself sitting at home doing the laundry day in day out for the rest of her life. Wherever she went, trouble followed. "What about you?" she asked Jordan. "Are you planning on a fairytale life?" |
Still on her little walk, Olivia turned into the Back Ally; it was creepy walking here alone. Some of the other Slytherins were mad at her. She needed to do something to gain more house points, the points she lost in class were made up by the points she won at the Potato Sack Race and the Shootout. She would go ask Lafay for some extra duties to earn points, but do people even just ask Lafay for extra work? Olivia would find out. She scanned around for creeps that may be lurking in the dusty shadows, Why diddnt she shopkeepers clean the back of their stores too? Well she doubted any villians would be sneaking around Hogsmead when the Hogwarts students were there...or would they... Olivia heard a scuffeling, please just be another student! Liv thought. |
