"Oh, wow L.A.! That's cool!" Sky exclaimed. She loved L.A. and had decided that she wanted to live there when she grew up. She loved New York, but she wanted to try a sunnier place. "I'm a second year. My parents sent me here because my dad had gone to Hogwarts and loved it so…" She, however, had mixed feelings about it. On one hand, there was always something interesting happening. On the other hand, some of the teachers were absolutely crazy (and in one case, downright scary). Sky realized then that she hadn't asked Claudia what year she was in. "So what year are you in?" she asked with a smile.

Laura turned and looked at her..Finally here is someone friendly...'Hi Claudia..I'm Laura..i'd love to join you people..especially since I'm new..'

Continuing to make her rounds around the platform, Kurumi was glad that she had worn her flat boots instead of one of the pairs of heels that Jonathan's mother had bought her. While she was grateful for the gift, and really did admire the woman, Kurumi was by no stretch of the imagination ready to step fully into the world of being a young lady. Honestly, whoever invented heels was insane even if it helped with the height situation.

Smiling and nodding her head at each student as she passed, Kurumi stopped when she saw the small but familiar figure of a Hufflepuff who she thought wouldn't be back this term. "Nessie!" Kurumi called as she waved her arms in the air in attempt to draw more attention to herself. "Nessie!"

Where was everyone? Ness really started to worry. She still couldn't see anybody she knew. She didn't like standing alone, it felt weird and she felt like people were staring at her. Crossing her arms she pouted still trying to find anyone that she knew. It was then that she heard a familiar voice shouting her name. She eyed all the peoples faces and stopped when she noticed someone familiar waving there arms in the air as though they were trying to attract attention.

It was the Gryffindor prefect and immediately a grin lit up on Nessie's face. "Kurumi!" She left her luggage where it was and ran over to her and gave her a big hug. She'd get her stuff later right now she wanted to greet Kurumi properly. She was so happy to see her, it felt like they hadn't seen eachother in forever and it was also a relief to be with someone she knew. "Its so good to see you." The smile on her face just kept in getting bigger.

Minerva smiled up at Claudia. "Yes I am sad that Alyssa is not here, she was a great friend, but it's not the only reason I am acting like this. I'm sorry it's been a rough summer." She gave Claudia a hug "You are already a friend in my book Cody so don't you think you have to leave us, join us."

Uh...Nessie knew that she really shouldn't leave her luggage unattended, right? Oh, wait, that was what was broadcasted in airports and not so much the wizarding side of Kings Cross Station. Never mind.

"It's so good to see you too," she chirped, throwing her arms around the Hufflepuff and squeezing her tight. "I was so worried that you really weren't going to come back!" Of course, that was entirely up to Nessie whether or not she came back, but Kurumi was certainly glad that she had decided to return. "How have you been? How was summer?"

"Logan!"Cardigan said as she hugged Logan back.Good thing she found somebody she knew because Cardigan can't be alone with nobody for a long time.She'd just start talking to herself.


Another friend?Yay!"Good to see you too Vlim!"Cardigan said as she returned the hug.It's so nice to have friends you can count on,even if it's only two friends.Good friends are enough."I'm sure which ever you get into will be great!"She said with a reassuring smile.That was the same case with Cardigan.

"I don't believe you two have met before.Logan,this is Vlimia,one of my friends.Vlimia,this is Logan,my other friend,"Cardigan said as she pointed to them as she said their name.Now they could all be friends!

Worried? Nessie doubted that, why would anyone worry about her? She was just a boring, and weird person and she didn't get why Kurumi would worry, either way it felt good to know someone sort of cared. "Well I'm here." She said as she pulled back from the hug. Summer..hmm, Ness bit her lip as she thought of the summer she had that year. "It um..it..was..okay." It was probably the best way she could some it up. Her summer had been pretty difficult but it was all to help herself get better, which she was. She sort of hoped Kurumi wouldn't ask more, she wasn't keen on talking about it all right there at Kings Cross. So she decided it be better to talk about Kurumi's summer. "How about you?" She asked keeping the smile on her face.

Great, just great. Ness turned around to where her luggage was and looked at her owl that was hooting away trying to get some attention. She turned back to Kurumi sighing a little. "Um...I think I better fetch her before she goes crazy." She said feeling a little rude as she eyed her owl again. Stupid owl had to interrupt everything, but at least Puffles was weirdly behaving well today. She didn't move from her spot though, she'd wait to get permission from Kurumi first.

Hmm...Nessie didn't seem to be very sure about her summer, so it probably was best to avoid that topic. Last time the two of them had really spoken, Nessie had been really fragile and Kurumi was determined to not make the poor Hufflepuff go back into her shell. It took a lot of courage to come back after feeling the way she had been towards the end of the term. But, Nessie changed subjects for Kurumi, so that was the end of that. "My summer was good. I went to visit Jonathan for a few weeks, then I spent some time in France at Lexi and Salander's second home...being home was alright. Mother got sick, so I had to help around the house more than usual..." Which, really wasn't saying much since she worked almost as hard as Cinderella did...

But she was talking far too much about herself. Shut it Kurumi.

"Oh, of course," Kurumi giggled. "Owls can be a little tempormental when they are ignored. I've never kept one myself, but Walnut certainly acts all in a huff whenever he doesn't get the attention he thinks he deserves." Kurumi eyed Nessie and her...lack of movement. Was she really waiting for her to give permission to take care of her owl and luggage? She needn't do that.

Amethyst didn't know what to say. She looked down. She knew she had to tell her, but she also knew someone wasn't going to go to Hogwarts. "Yes.." Was all she could say. She gripped Minerva's hand, placing the other hand ontop. "I'm going to protect her." She looked from the ground to her father. She sighed. He was going to go, and she knew he was going to stop her from not going to Hogwarts. "We will protect her."

Jezz just nodded at what Kurumi had to say when it came to meeting people and expecting the unexpected. She really didn't have much more to say on the topic. All she knew was, she knew who she liked and who she didn't and if someone didn't like her she would learn to deal with it and accept it. Anyways, what's the worse possible thing that could happen?

"Oh that sounds amazing. Little pick me ups and everything," Jezz said smiling. She really wanted to be in Gryffindor now. Cookies are amazing and any house that has a good baker who just gives away cookies was even better. She looked around and gave Kurumi a small smile, "Well, you know business is business. So mum dropped me off and left me on my own." She didn't have a problem with it, she just wished she had a warmer more loving family. "I'll survive. I was left alone in Diagon Alley too. They had..." she didn't even want to say the b word let alone think about it. "You sound like you've been where I am before," she said looking at her.

That was good to know. She had to pass her sigh of relief off as a violent snneze. Actually, Lilly was glad her twin had been so blunt- she would've asked, herself if she was too desperate to know. Which she would've been. 'Good,' she muttered, quietly. Ooops. Hopefully the others didn't hear. Lilly had already done the weird sneeze.

She turned and jumped, quickly- Smartie was nuzzling against her leg. 'Get off, you suprised me,' Lilly giggled. The kitten sort of scowled and went to sit by Lilly's trunk, which she'd left lying on the floor.

Harvey beamed at Claudia.. such a big resemblence to her sister.. but there was something different about Claudia.. he couldnt put his finger on it.. he shook her hand "It is nice to meet you too Claudia.. she did?!" he never knew that Alyssa spoke good things of him.. he had wished he hung out with her more.. but hey there was Claudia her sister.. who had her own different personality.. THATS IT!!! her personality was different "I dont hope that we will be friends" he said pausing here for suspense before continuing "I KNOW we will be friends" he said smiling at Claudia.. "So what made you come here after ..... Alyssa left?" he asked her.. he knew that Alyssa had problems last term... but surely she told her family everything so then why did Claudia decide to come here knowing the problems her sister went through..

Kurumi smiled and checked the tips of her hair. Oh good, the pink changes were gone now. That was a relief. She then turned her attention back to Jezz. Pick me ups were certainly necessary, and she could probably use a few of them herself with all that was going to happen this term...namely OWLs. Not that she hadn't already been preparing or anything...heck, studying with Jonathan last term had been like taking a mock exam. There was still so much to do though...EEK!

She frowned a bit when Jezz mentioned business to describe why her family wasn't with her. "I was," she nodded. "For slightly different reasons though. My father is pureblood, but my mother is non-magical. She...she hates everything to do with the wizarding world, so she wanted no part in coming her with me. Same with when my brothers were students." She offered the girl a small smile. It certainly could be lonely, not having your own family there to support you, but that is what made Gryffindor even more important to her. Her house was like her family and they always made her feel welcomed and like she belonged. "Father did come with me this time, but that is only because mother was too sick to protest." Some sort of nasty flu from the looks of it. Her brothers were taking care of her though.

Good, no more questions about her summer. She listened about Kurumi's summer happy that at least someone had a good vacation. "With Jonty..how cute, what did you do with him?" Ness couldn't help but giggle. She thought Kurumi and her boyfriend, were such an adorable couple, well almost everyone thought so. Maybe one day, she herself would be in a relationship like Kurumi and Jonathan were.

Raising an eyebrow, she tried to figure out who Lexi and Salander until she remembered that Salander had been the Head Boy last year and she guessed that Lexi must have been his girlfriend or something. "France must have been amazing, I used to live there when I was one, but then when we moved I went there quite often." She smiled as she thought of all her good memories in France. It was probably her favorite country besides for South Africa of course, no country was better than that, not to Ness. Wait Kurumi's mother was sick, her face immediately turned concerned. "Is your mother okay at least?." She asked trying not to get too worried.

She giggled with Kurumi, both their pets seemed to be attention seekers, it was annoying yet cute at the same time. "I suppose I pets just think they need lots of attention." She tried to snort while she giggled, but she did anyway. "I'll be right back." And with that, she ran over to her owl and luggage and then picked it up and slowly walked back to where Kurumi was. She put the luggage back on the ground and before she could enjoy one second of quiet, Aya started hooting again. Irritating owl! "Sorry, she's such a pain." She sighed not sure how to get the owl to shush."Aya please stop." It was best to be kind to the owl right? Maybe it would obey.

Yep, this was definitely a mini-version of her. Hehe, she was so cute too. Variation of her name? Briefly thinking of when her brother's chased her down the field playing Quidditch, she won't say that one. "A fair few," Almost leaving it at that before looking up thoughtfully, "But never Mallie."

Eyes almost widening, Africa? That would've been wicked, but it only made her laugh. "Oh no, I'm from Ireland, though I tend to spend a lot of time vacationing in Canada or wherever my brother plays his Quidditch matches at."

Oh neat, she was in Ravenclaw. "Cool, that's my mum's house, she was hoping I'd be sorted there but well, it made my father more happy where I'm at now." Thinking more thoughtfully, "I guess it was a good thing, since our head of house can be unfriendly, but nothing too scary if you don't make her upset." It was quite simple really, in her opinion. She wondered if she would've ever saw her that way in another house.

Hmm, brewing her own sleek-haired potion. She never tired that before, it would save money. Not that Kimalia needed to be frugal, nope nope. "You know, that'd be a cool idea." Lafay did allow students to brew a potion under her supervision, and if she had a brainy person helping her.. "We could always brew some in her dungeons, since she probably has every ingredient."

Aw, she really was a sweet person. Perhaps she should be careful on how many she eats in front of her. Oh well, onward to the train they went!

Kurumi flinched. Nessie had not just used a nickname when referring to Jonathan, had she? Thankfully, he wasn't around...and that was a very good thing for Nessie. Not that Jonathan would hex the girl or anything, but the way his nose wrinkled and his eyes narrowed when he was upset was sort of scary. Sure, Kurumi had her own nickname for him...he was her sugar cookie after all...but that wasn't one that she ever really verbalized in front of other people. "We...um...we...his mother took me shopping," she said somewhat avoiding Nessie's question as her cheeks flushed and she found herself looking everywhere BUT at Nessie.

"It was my first time to France, so it was sort of overwhelming," she laughed. Kurumi really hadn't seen too much of the world, but each summer since her first year had made it seem much smaller. Hogwarts had done that for her. "Really? I never knew you used to live in France." Did that mean Nessie could speak French? Wait...she said when she was one, maybe not then. "Mother should be fine," Kurumi nodded. "Doctor said it was just a chest cold." As horrible as it sounded, Kurumi was sort of grateful for her mother getting sick...it had given her a bit more freedom and she had smiled a lot more around the house because of it.

Kurumi waited as Nessie went to fetch her things and giggled a bit as the younger girl began fussing with her owl. Creatures could be such temperamental things. Leaning forward a bit, Kurumi cooed softly to the owl. No, she didn't speak owl, but cooing had sometimes helped her with the school owls when they were frazzled. "She's lovely."

Harvs? Who's Harvs? Ronnie wasn't even thinking anymore. "What...who's that?! Who's Harvs?!" she asked. Her grandfather, Ron, walked up to Ronnie and smacked her on the face. "OI! RONNIE! WAKE UP!" he yelled in her face. She shook her head. Oh, Harvs! Harvey! OHHHH! She blushed. "Sorry, Harvey. I guess I was like in a daze or something!" she said laughing, which turned into crying. "I don't wanna leave!" she said throwing herself at him, and hugging him.
"Hey! Are you excited or what?" he said smiling.

Yeah, Logan wouldn't be dating a third year. He didn't have a chance at all. He nodded. Then there was a kitten. "What's it's name?" he asked curiously.

Harvey was shocked to see someone come and slap her and he saw the resemblence between them and realised he must be a family member.. she said sorry before hugging "Oh Ronnie.. its ok.. I know how hard it must be for you.." he said putting his arms around her as she cried "I dont want you to leave either.. Oh Rons.." he said hugging her a little tighter "Remember we will alway be with you.. in your heart remember I told you." he said smiling .. as he held her..

Wait why was Kurumi flinching? Nessie hadn't said anything that she shouldn't have or had she? Whatever Kurumi's flinching was about she hoped it wasn't that important. Riiighht, course that was all she did. Ness knew better to know that Kurumi had done way more than just go shopping with his mother. They had probably gone on romantic walks, and they probably went to lots of interesting places, Kurumi for sure didn't just go there to shop. She wanted to ask more, but she noticed that Kurumi's cheeks had started flushing, she also realized that Kurumi had no eye contact with her whatsoever, so guessing how Kurumi felt she decided to not to ask more about Jonty. "Oh, did you at least buy pretty stuff?" She asked hoping her question was alright.

Nodding, Nessie knew exactly what Kurumi meant by overwhelming. She herself had even found France overwhelming almost every time she went there. Ness giggled, not many people knew that she lived in France for a year, nevermind that she was born there too. "Yeah, I was actually born there, but I only lived there for about a year so I barely remember what it was like living there." She sort of wished she lived there longer, at least long enough to learn the language or get an accent, but either way she was happy she had gone to live in South Africa. It was according to her the best place ever.

Good, so Kurumi's mother was alright. Nothing to worry about anymore. "Oh, well I hope your mum gets better quick." She may have not had the opportunity to have met Kurumi's mother, but she was just being polite as her parents always told her to be.

Nessie watched in amazement, and giggled a little too as Kurumi cooed at Aya. It did the trick, The small brownish, tawny owl hooted twice more and then closed her beak and swayed in her cage in a happy sort of way. "Um...thank you." She said, still little confused as to how Kurumi had shushed the owl so easily. "Erm..that was amazing, how did you do that?" Was she really that bad with animals? Ness had struggled for a long time with getting Puffles to behave, yet Trey had done it in a matter of seconds. And now here she was trying to get Aya to shush with no sucess, and yet Kurumi did it in an instant. "I'm terrible at disciplining my pets...I think they hate me." She said with a little pout on her face.

Ronnie chuckled. "Don't worry about him. I needed it." she said half laughing and crying again as he hugged her. "Thanks, Harvey." she said sniffling. "I'll be alright." she said smiling into his chest. She felt like she was at the gazebo again...except he wasn't there to kiss her or tell her he loved her to make her feel better.

"Excited?I am super excited!!"Cardigan said with a faraway look on her face.Hogwarts was the one place she could be herself and not be a freak!!She could fit in and be somebody and not be among the nobodies!(No offense to the nobodies.)And her best friends would be there too which made all the difference.

Harvey smiled as he hugged her. "Hey no need to thank me Rons.. I am always here for you... Yeah?! you will be alright?! thats good.. whenever you feel like talking just send an owl straight away and I will reply.. you understand?!" he asked looking at her as held her in his arms.. "I am going to miss you Rons.." he said as he felt pain in his heart that she couldnt stay..

"Me too!" Logan said eagerly, when suddenly his aunt came. Oh no, this can't be good. She was holding a cage with his cat in it.
"You forgot your little mutt." she said in disgust, throwing it at him.
Logan caught it quickly. "Aunt Eliza! You could of hurt him!" Logan said frowning.
Eliza walked to Cardigan, and put a hand on her face. "This your girlfriend?" she asked laughing a little.
"No, she's my...friend." Logan said angrily.
"Good. I wouldn't wanna see you with such an ugly little girl." Eliza said laughing. Logan was now mad. How dare she. "Aunt, SHE IS NO-" he began, but she slapped him across the face, knocking him down on the ground. "Don't you dare yell at me young man." she said before walking back to through the barrier. Logan was so mad right now. Ugh. He went up to Cardigan and put both his hands on her shoulders. "Don't listen to a word she says, Car. You are not ugly. She is mean, she is soo mean." he said closing his eyes. "I'm real sorry she said that to you." he said. "You are not ugly." he said again. "You are beautiful." he said. "The most beautiful girl ever." he said looking into her amazing eyes.

Ronnie smiled weakly. "Yeah." she said. "Thank you, yeah I'll do that." she said smiling. "I'll miss you more." she said, sniffling. The feeling of being in his arms again killed her. She wanted to be his again. His girlfriend. One more time. But she couldn't.

Harvey held her.. he was feeling more pain today than he had felt before.. maybe because it had hit him that he would not be seeing this girl again.. until next summer.. "Please dont forget me, will you?" he said to her holding her "I KNOW I will never forget you.. never!" he said to her as he closed his eyes to remember this last moment they had together..
