Just then Saber ran into the common room with a letter from Kyle. Saber had the look of worry in his eyes as he sat in Justin's lap. It was about Amethyst and Edward.

" What have you here, Sir Saber? " asked Justin as he took the letter from his family cat. He opened it up and his eyes grew wide as he handed it to Minerva. " Min, things are getting serious at home....Kyle's been injured by Edward and he now has direct access to Ame's mind....He's going to take her from us all. Take her and deliver her to her mother. He's luring her to go outside the front gate. If he is able...There nothing any of us can do....She must be watched. " Justin said worriedly.

Saber nodded fast as he knew where she was. He meowed, trying to tell him she was in the Great Hall.

"He might." she was deep in thought listening to him "Justin I'm not going to lie, I do love you, but I just don't know if it is a friend love or more." she was so confused, but the confusion was starting to get clearer. He placed his cheek on her head. "Justin..." but she didn't get to complete her thought a cat was at their feet and Justin took a letter. 'Edward's name..of course the name that would never go away. She sighed just as she stops thinking about it, it gets thrown back up. "Kyle got hurt that's horrible is she ok?" Minerva said shocked and then she couldn't help but roll her eyes and fall back in the chair. "He can't do anything to her as long as she is here. He can't get in her head at Hogwarts. The charms will keep him out." she was tired of having this same conversation. He could not take her out of the castle using his power. His power couldn't get in.

" I know. But ya see that's what the problem is....I love Amethyst . I do, but she never listens or she doesn't get it. I suppose I'll go find her in a minute. I want to finish what we were talking about first." Justin said as he looked back over his shoulder and smiled at Minerva. " I understand how you feel, Min...Really it's okay. Like I said before I'm just thankful to still have you as a friend....And I'll try to keep my lips to meself. "

Minerva was deep in thought she was frustrated about everything. "Justin.." she said quietly. "Let's just go slow and see what happens, ok?" she took her hand and put it in his.

Justin looked at Minerva as she spoke . Then she took his hand in hers and he looked down at her hand in his and lifted them and kissed the back of hers and smled. " Of course , Minerva. I was thinking the same thing. And I will keep this to myself so as not to upset Ame or Harv. We can just hang out and study together. So much has happened and we can just be supportive of each other. "
Justin for once was thinking responsibly. He wanted so much to show Minnie that he wasn't wanting to rush into anything. " Ya know nothing has to change..... I just like being with you like this..."

Minerva smiled "That sounds great. Especially the studying part, mister doesn't participate much in class." she eyed him with a little grin. "Ame might have let you play around with class, but I take it serious and you know that." she giggled a bit.

Saber looked at them both and meowed slightly. After a few minutes, he darted out of the common room and to the Pathways were Amethyst was. Saber didn't like what Minerva and Justin was doing, but he had to tell Amethyst. Some how. It wasn't like she could speak cat.

Justin chuckled a little when she called him that. " I know I told you though I have a hard time keeping up. The professors go to fast. I've always had a hard time with my studies.... I think I've got some type of learning problem. And I know that you could help me with that.....You always do well. "
Justin looked at her and gave her a smile before settling back into their favourite chair.

Minerva watched the cat come and look at them and then go. She smiled at Justin "Well of course I will help you the best I can and don't say you have any learning problems some people just need to study harder, which means staying more in the library then the lake." she giggled. "I study a lot, not every class comes easy for me either." she had the urge to kiss him, but fought it off. She needed to go slow. "Justin I'm going to head up to the dorm for a bit, ok?" she got up and started heading up to the girls dorm.

Justin blushed as she said he was fine...Just needing more studying; less time at the lake. " Min, I go down there to workout. It helps with my stress, not to mention I'm trying to get into better shape." He said then she said she was going up to her dorm room. " Okay, I hope you get some rest. I'm going down to the lake if you'd like to join me. " he said as he smiled and stood up. He looked into her eyes as he kissed the back of her hand before he left the common room. " We'll study later...I'll take my school bag so that I'll be prepared. " he said with alittle grin as he looked over his shoulder on the way out.

Alyssa wearily stepped into the Common Room. She was so glad that she wouldn't see this room again after spending those days in the dungeon serving her detention. She slowly sat down on one of the sofas and leaned back, looking at the fire burning in the fireplace.

Minerva walked into the common room and saw Alyssa sitting alone. She smiled walked towards her. "Hey Alyssa mind if I join you for a bit?"

Aaron burst into the common room, throwing his bag into the nearest chair he could see.
'Do not fear, Hogwarts, for Aaron Roberts is back!' He stretched his arms out, proudly announcing his late arrival.
He spotted Minerva and Alyssa sitting together a short distance away. 'Hi there lady-people, how be you?'
On top of his head sat Oliver the owl, completely relaxed even though Aaron was as hyper as he could get without Dr Pepper.
'Anyone got Pepper?'

Minerva jumped at the sound of that voice.. THAT VOICE, she jumped up like a little kid who hadn't seen a big brother forever. "AARON!!!!" she ran hugging him. "Of course I do, I had put a bunch in my trunk and didn't think they were going to get drank without you here." with that Minerva ran to her dorm and came flying back down tossing him a Dr. Pepper. "What made you come back, not that I'm upset your back. It's been kind of quiet around here without you."

Aaron grinned as Minnie ran up to him and hugged him. He hugged her back, glad to see he hadn't just missed his friends when he wasn't at Hogwarts, but that they had missed him too.
'Mineeeeeeeeeeeervaaaaa!' He grinned as Oliver jumped onto her head, 'meet sir Oliver Owlington.' And she had Dr Pepper! BRILLIANT! 'You are BRILLIANT, MINNIE! DR PEPPER?!'
Aaron sat down on the ground, propping his feet up against a seat and staring around the common room, this year would be funnnnn.
He caught the bottle, almost letting it crash into his face and thanked Minerva. 'Why thank you.' He bowed. 'Hows the year been so far?'
After taking a few sips of his Doctor Pepper, Aaron took Oliver back and placed him on his shoulder. 'Weeeelll.. I'm back cause I had.. stuff? To sort out at home?' That was about right, the amount of boxes he'd been packing was awwwful.

Minerva laughed as the owl jumped on her head. "Well hello there Sir Oliver Owlington." She found her seat again and opened her pop as well. "Well the year has been normal. Classes are seeming a bit more different then last term and the professor seem a little more strict then last term. So many people have lost points for things that they wouldn't have last year. I lost five the first night for being in the observatory just talking." she felt she was talking to much, but she just couldn't stop. "Qudditch tryouts happened I tried out this year, but don't think I made it." she looked at Alyssa. "Alyssa did fantastic she will make the team for sure." then she looked back at Aaron "Well I hope you got everything sorted out and I think your arrival calls for a common room celebrations. We haven't had one yet!"

Alyssa was sitting down relaxing with Minnie when she heard a familiar voice. 'It couldn't be. He's not supposed to be here."Alyssa thought to herself. Not wanting to sound rude, she said, "Uh Hi Aaron. I didn't expect to see you back here but welcome back." 'Good job, Lyssie. No rudeness involved,' Alyssa thought to herself.

'You can call him Oliver too, but I knighted him, so he needs something fancy, doesn't he?' He called Olly over and petted the owl. 'I potty trained him. How cool is THAT?'
Maybe they'd think that's what he'd been doing all this time. He'd been too busy making sure his owl knew how to go to the bathroom to come to Hogwarts. Right. The real story was probably even less exciting though, having to pack up everything in the house he'd lived in since he was born to go move to an even sillier town to live with just his mum and sisters.
'Normal is... nice.' He nodded, the new house was anything but normal, Hogwarts being normal was good. Very good. 'YOU lost points?' Aaron chuckled, he wasn't expecting that.
But maybe this would mean he'd get in trouble easier. Maybe he shouldn't risk hugging Lafay this term & lose the 50 points Lafay wanted to take last term...
Quidditch had never really been something Aaron could do, but he was glad to hear Alyssa would maybe make the team, she was good after all.
'That's good Lyssie!' He nodded, 'I'll just be the mascot again. Girls totally dig cheerleaders.'


Aaron grinned at Lyssie, she didn't seem too happy to see him here. But they could be friends and stuff, right?
He stretched his arms out to his exgirlfriend, 'not even a hug?' Aaron flashed her his most charming smile, which faltered as she spoke. She wasn't expecting him back or didn't WANT him back?
'But of cooourse I'd be back, I am -for now- an underage Wizard, Lyssard.'
Did he just call her lizard? He shrugged, he'd never heard of a smart lizard, but that cooould change right? They were awesome after all.

When Aaron stretched out his arms for a hug, no matter how awkward it felt, Lyssie wasn't going to let it bother her. She had done a lot of hurting over the months and that he was here, she wasn't sure how she was going to handle it, but she definitely wasn't going to let him know that. So reached out awkwardly and hugged him back before quickly stepping back. WAIT A MINUTE!!DID HE JUST CALL ME LYSSARD?? "Aaron, I know that it's been awhile since we last saw or spoke with each other, but just in case you have forgotten, my name is either Alyssa or Lyssie. Not Lyssard unless you are trying to imply that I am some kind of lizard, which is definitely not complimentary at all."

Well that was.. a short hug. Aaron pouted. Lame hug.
She used to.. you know, not mind hugs. But that was before Aaron was... stupid and all those lame things. So maybe he deserved a lame hug? But hadn't they decided they could just be friends? That meant he could give squishy hugs, Aaron decided. He could do with a nice hug. fromLyssard
'Nahhh, that's not a real hug!' He stretched his arms out again, grinning at her.
Lyssard wasn't complimentary? Aaron stared, that was an insult. To lizard. And to him, in some way. 'But... lizards are cool, if you missed that part.' He nodded, stroking an invisible lizard on his hand, trying to get at least one laugh from her.
She was being... formal. o____O 'Lyssard sounds cool, though..' He tried with a sad smile.

Ella entered the common room and tried to smile at her housemates. She was feeling overwhelmed but didn't want to bring any of the other students down. She found an empty chair and plopped down with a sigh. Her head was aching and she rubbed it, hoping the headache would go away soon. What a day...

"I think your owl is totally cool Aaron and that is so cool you trained it to use a bathroom. Sir Oliver you are awesome!" Minerva looked away a little guilty. "I was the first in the house to lose points. It was horrible." she shrugged and put a smile back on her face. "Maybe you rubbed off on me a bit." she stuck her tongue out at him. She was so glad to have Aaron back he was the silly that this house needed . Then he began to speak with Alyssa. "I think your a great mascot, but you need to still make me that hat." she crossed her arms and acted like she was pouting, but then giggled.

Alyssa sighed when she heard Aaron say that he wanted another hug. What was he doing? Didn't he know that just seeing him was bringing back all the sad memories again? Why did he make it seem like that what they had...whatever little there was...meant nothing to him? Well unfortunately it did to her, but she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing that she still missed him. So Alyssa walked back into his hug and returned it...until she heard him say that Lyssard sounded cool. 'No way in heck am I going to let you call me that, Aaron Roberts!,'Alyssa thought to herself.

So as she returned the hug and in the process of removing her arms from around him, she shoved one of her elbows into his tummy. "Ooops! I'm sorry. I hope i didn't hurt you. My elbow got caught up in your jacket." she told Aaron, grinning inside.
