Girls' Bathroom Girls Only!! (That includes you Misters Potter and Weasley!) A funny inscription etched on the door with a potions knife reminds us all of the great deeds Harry Potter and his friends performed during their time at Hogwarts. OOC Note: All SS Board Rules and School Rules apply in this bathroom. Violators may be punished both OOC and IC should they break any of those rules. |
Chrissy/ Violet Selina walked inside the bathroom with her sneakers squeaking away with each step. School was barely even begun and she had already attracted some drama. Elektra had pretty much blown her off during the opening feast and she had no idea why. She had an inkling but no concrete answers. Things with her were beyond weird. And not to mention but they were already well into the first week of school and she had not seen Violet at all. Was Elektra keeping her away? She hoped not. |

SPOILER!!: Violet and Selina [Elektra's Outfit]Humming to a song she had listened to while she was away with her brother, she continued to take in the sights of her "home." Hogwarts hadn't changed. She was glad. If it changed any more she would be walking around like a chicken without a head. Humming a little louder which turned to singing as she saw no one around in the hall she ran her fingers through her hair and looked around for that famous bathroom. "Now that you're gone I feel like myself again, grieving the things I can't repair and willing..." Elektra sang out a little louder until she walked into the bathroom and her voice cut right off seeing Violet...and...oh bloody hell. Selina as well. Elektra stood by the entrance to the bathroom looking at Violet and Selina and Elektra clears her throat. "Ignore what you just heard." |
Selina grinned ear to ear when Violet spoke to her. It seemed that she had been wrong after all- Violet was not mad at her. That was a relief. She was afraid that somehow whatever Elektra was mad at Selina about had caught on. No such thing had occurred. "I'm great Violet! How about yourse-". Just then a soaring, rich alto timbre filled the bathroom. The redhead turned her head to the side and saw Elektra standing in the bathroom. For a moment, with all of them standing in the bathroom, it felt like old times. It wasn't old times anymore though. Things had changed... They all were so different, "Um... Hey Elektra." |
Violet smiled brightly as she began listening to Selina's response but she was cut off for the voice a very lovely alto began echoing throughout the bathroom. She turned her head looking for the source and her violet eyes landed on the bathroom door. The voice had come from Elektra and she immediately had stopped singing when she saw that Violet and Selina had heard her. Then she giggled when Elektra tried to tell them to ignore what she had just done. Violet then said,"Why would we do such a thing?! It sounded lovely Elektra!" She smiled and then paused realizing that the three of them were all together in bathroom like they always used to do when they were younger. Of course...things had changed...they had changed. |
Elektra just looked at both of them. She felt a little awkward walking into the bathroom singing as loud as she did and even in front of Violet and Selina. Oh bloody hell that was too embarassing. Elektra lowered her head for a second then picked it up and walked to the sinks and turned the faucet as she looked at herself in the mirror seeing that she had little bags under her eyes and she looked over at Violet and Selina. "You can continue talking what you two were talking about before I embarassed myself in front of you lot. I'm not staying in here. I think I might take a walk around the school grounds." Elektra grabbed a paper towel and lightly dampened it and fixed her makeup that was under her eyes and turned the faucet off and she looked at herself in the mirror once again and she sighs and tosses the paper towel over her shoulder hitting it into the garbage and she looks over at the garbage shocked that she got it in and she looked at Violet and chuckled. "Looks like I am pretty good at sports not involving a broom right?" |
Elektra was talking to her again. Thank Merlin. It was like some kind of miracle. Perhaps the whole episode at the opening feast was a sort of flop. Maybe everything she had been pondering the last few days was really just nothing to even worry about. Sure, Elektra was leaving to go off and wander the grounds, but even before she left Elektra was not one to stick around in one place to long. She was a free bird. Whatever was wrong before seemed to have escaped Elektra's mind. Selina chuckled at Elektra's comment about the broom and said, "Yeah that experience at my house proved that perhaps you should stick to things on land, don't you think Lek?" Feeling a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders Selina replied, "Why would you feel that way? It sounded great Elektra, really it did." Thank Merlin that things were better now. All was forgiven. |
Elektra raised her eyebrow looking right at Selina. Did she really just speak to Elektra. Who gave her the right to talk to her? "Last I checked I was talking to Violet...and not you so..." She said before shrugging her shoulders and looked around. "I don't think my mouth ever blurted out the words, 'What do you think Selina?' now did they?" She looked at Violet. "Look I'll be by the portraits if you want to talk to me without her around." She said shooting a look to Selina with her piercing emerald eyes then looking back at Violet. |
Violet's eyes widened when she heard Elektra respond to Selina so...out of character. Yes of course it was still Elektra, but something was certainly different about her now. She seemed, the most changed out of all of them. Then after she answered Selina so harshly Violet was then speechless. Violet truthfully disliked these awkward moments..she never would have imagined that it would happen with Selina and Elektra. And now that it had happened she wasn't entirely sure what to say. |
Shock. That was the only sensation that Selina felt at the present moment. Elektra, who was being pleasant several moments before, had turned to Selina and snapped at her in a matter of seconds. She was taken aback by the sincerity in Elektra's voice when she unkindly told Selina that she was not speaking to her. Not only was it rude, but it was unexpected. Elektra was her friend and although things had been awkward at the feast she assumed everything was fine. Why was Elektra treating her like this? What had she done to offend her? "Talk to me without her around?" Selina repeated in shock. Elektra had just verbalized that she did not want to talk with Selina in the room and had insinuated that she did not even want to talk to Selina. The redhead took a step forward and said, "What is that supposed to mean? Why are you being such a jerk to me?" |
SPOILER!!: Uh-Oh....DRAMA!!! Every single time Elektra looked at Selina all she could think of was when she went to the three broomsticks and saw THEM together. HOW DARE SHE! How dare she have the nerve to take him from her. Selina was already pushing Elektra enough since the feast, but now...she couldn't fight it anymore. Elektra just finally snapped at Selina. "Tell me Selina how do the sloppy seconds taste?" And just like that...you could feel the tension in the bathroom. You could cut it with a knife. Elektra just simply gave probably the meanest glare she ever gave to Selina. But in the back of Elektra's dark mind was Oh, Merlin why is Violet here right now? I don't want her to see me like this. But that anger was start to boil up inside of her, and one wrong move could turn this conversation ugly. |
Sloppy seconds? Was Elektra seriously going to bring her boyfriend into the conversation. What did Gideon do that was so terrible. Yes, Selina knew that Elektra and Gideon had kissed- he had told her- yet Selina could not even begin to understand what Gideon had done that was so terrible. More importantly, why was Elektra punishing Selina for dating him? Sloppy seconds... that was the most offensive thing she had ever heard Elektra say to her. The redhead fished for some sort of reply to Elektra but came up short every time. There was not one thought that could coherently form in Selina's mind. She was even more shocked than she had been several seconds prior. Then she finally could formulate some sort of thought. "Sloppy seconds?" she repeated in disbelief, "What do you mean sloppy seconds? How dare you say that to me." |
"HOW DARE I?! HOW DARE YOU!" Elektra shouted to Selina. Wow...she didn't think she would snap like this, but this anger has been building up inside her for months. "To think I was gonna come by and surprise you lot, but then I had to stumble into the Three Broomsticks to find my 'Best Friend' being all cute and cuddly with Gideon bloody Gert. I swear if my heart could have it would have fell right through my chest and crumble onto the floor from what I saw. How could you do this to me? I thought you were my friend Selina! I THOUGHT I TRUSTED YOU!!!" With suc anger Elektra yelled and punched the mirror above the sink feeling the glass crack and cut into her skin and she ignored the pain. This was nothing compared to what she had went through in Russia. Elektra lowered her hand letting blood fall from her knuckles and drip onto the floor as she tried to control her heavy breathing. |
"I didn't know you liked Gideon, Elektra! I was not stabbing you in the back for dating someone I liked, especially because I didn't even know you liked him. You never told me! I had to find out from my boyfriend and it was kind of awkward, alright? Don't act like this is my fault and I betrayed your trust. You decided not to tell me, you decided to leave without saying goodbye, you decided to leave again when you came back the second time. Don't blame me for what happened. I am your friend and am still your friend!" In a fit of rage Elektra punched the mirror a part of it shattered and sent blood trickling down her hand. Selina's face when white and she stepped forward to help her friend, "Merlin Elektra! Let me help you-" |
Elektra was now giving a blank stare. Elektra was just not there anymore. Her mind wandered off. It wandered off to a very dark part in her mind. As she looed down at her hand she started having just horrible memories. Memories she wished she had forgotten. They were toying with her mind now. They just wouldn't stop. She was slowly snapping out of it when she looked up at Selina who was stepping towards her, but Elektra didn't see Selina. She saw something else and that caused Elektra to react by throwing her hurt hand up hitting Selina in her face with the back of her hand. "Stay away from me!" Elektra shouted. |
Elektra was hysterical. Her usual grreen eyes were ridden with fast at the sight of the advancing redhead. Yet, Selina was too concerned to even take notice to the crazy behavior of her friend or at least her old friend. The blood was all over the place from Elektra's hand. She just wanted to help her in any way she could. She took a step forward toward Elektra and suddenly she was back handed by Elektra. Contrary to the way Selina held herself she was small. True, there was fire behind the tiny girl but she was not strong in any way but personality. She was athletic and fit, but Elektra had a few inches on Selina. Not only that but Elektra was raving like a mad man, when she hit Selina she was aiming to hurt her. As her hand blasted across Selina's face she went stumbling back and out her hands behind herself to catch the sink. In pain she turned her face away from the two girls in the bathroom. Her fingers reached up to her mouth and pulled it away to examin the damage... she was bleeding. She looked wounded at Elektra and said softly, "Elektra...?" |
SPOILER!!: Selina Elektra still looked in shock as she looked at Selina blinking a couple of times and started to feel a slight pain in her hand and she looked back down at her hand and she winced slightly seeing the blood trickle off her fingers and she looks back up at Selina then over to Violet and swallows spit. "Vi- I- I think I should go...back to the common room and get myself patched up...right?" |
Anyone? Skipping into the bathroom before her Care of Magical Creatures class, she just needed to put something on her face. She was never good at this so she needed more time. Muggle make-up. Erin walked towards the large mirror opposite the cubicles, moved closer and started fiddling the things from her bag. Oh there it is! First things first, powder. And then, the blush on. Bam! She doesn't know how to use this. |

Selina's blue eyes sparkled in tears... she was in pain, she was bleeding and Elektra had caused it. Without another word she looked Elektra dead in the eye and left the bathroom. She had to get to the Common Room as quickly as possible. |
Helga strolled into the girls bathroom, feeling drained. She looked at the inscriptions on the walls. The life of Potter amd Weasley seemed exciting, unfortunatly they didn't attend Hogwarts anymore. She sighed, it would of been alot more exciting. |
Glenn walked into the bathroom. Her eyes skimmed over the adventures of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley on the door, she had memorised the information already. Her hair was wild, the frizzy curls flying everywhere and twigs and leaves were spread among it. She started picking out twigs out of her hair before giving up and instead started critically analysing her appearance in the mirror. |
Zhenya held the door open for Laura as she walked in to the bathroom. She took one look in the mirror and laughed. She was COVERED in mud, her hair was hard as the mud hardened. Her face had smudged mud with tear lines streaming down her face from laughing so much. She had a bruise on the side of her face where she must have either ran into a Topiary or smacked on the ground, and her leg had a bruise all down the side. It was from the bindings which must have pulled her leg when she and Laura kept falling down. How did she not have any broken bones? It was a very funny sight. |

"Wait!" she said, and pulled out a camera from her bag. She thought it might come in handy to remember the Hogwarts Celebration, "Come here," she said to Laura and set the camera up on timer. She smiled at the camera, waiting for the flash to go off. |

Then she remembered something about a cleaning spell... "Oh yeah well there's Tergeo which can be used to wipe things clean, how about we try to use it and see where it goes?" she said. |

"Well let me try it," she said, pointing her wand on her. "Terego," she said, pointing it all around her face, looking at her reflection in the mirror. She thought about wiping the dirt and mud away, which it did. "WOW," she said as her face was suddenly in full view again. There was a scratch right across her cheek, which was totally bruised and red. "Oh gosh," she said. "This doesn't look very good," she laughed. |

She walked over to a wall near the famous Chamber of Secrets 'opening' and sat against the wall, staring at it. She knew it wasn't good to sit on bathroom floors, but she didn't want to leave the reality. Laura was not in Slytherin, so they couldn't just go back to the common room. As icky as it was, she wanted to spend more time with Laura, even if it was in the bathroom. "So... tell me about yourself," she asked Laura. "Um... or did you want to go somewhere else other than here?" she asked, glancing around. |

"Hmm I'm pure blood," she said, indicating her Slytherin logo. She laughed then, "Just kidding! No - well I am pure blood, but I think it's a load of phooey! My dad was born here and his entire family are pure blood, and my mother was born in Russia to a really well-known pure-blood wizarding family there. Well, they're only well known here. I guess like the Black family were known here all those years ago. I have a brother, Dimitri... I call him Dima, he has been left here for 2 years. He's travelling. He will be home soon though I hope," she looked sad. "I miss him..." After a moment or two she realised it must have been awkward. She cheered up. "Who is your twin?" she asked. "What do your parents do for jobs?" |
For Jez. Pam ran into the bathroom, tears flowing, note in hand. She ran to the nearest wall, and kicked it. Anger madE her hair red, sadness made her eyes blue. Part of her wanted to scream at the top of her lungs until she had no more voice. But another part of her wanted to hide. Run and hide and to never be found again. She resulted to curling up in a ball on the floor. She wanted to show Jez and Nate that she was strong. That she was able to make it through everything. But with each heart wrenching note from Jared, and each agonizing day waiting, she didn't know how she could hang on. |

"Don't you know what this means? Because my mom was stupid enough to send this letter, and apperently one to my dad, she's going to get captured. Why would she do that?!" Pam voice had risen in volume. But she didn't care. She didn't understand why her mom would do something like this. |
Elektra was fixing her eyeliner in the mirror. She really wasn't used to applying her makeup on using her right hand instead of her left. Her hand was still hurt from...well...THAT little incident. It never escaped her mind. She couldn't stop thinking about it. All of that anger, that fury...it was bottled up inside for over a year and finally she had let it out, but she let it out on someone she once called a friend. As she finished up applying her eyeliner she looked at herself and for a second thought she saw the mirror just crackle and break right in front of her eyes, but her mind was playing tricks on her after she looked down and looked back up. The mirror was just fine. Elektra let out a slight huff. "Bloody hell..." |
Quote:
As Selina walked into the bathroom she missed the brunette standing in front of the mirror. She was too tired to notice so she approached the sink and ran her hands under cold water. Then she splashed her face with water... ugh much better. |
Elektra really hadn't been getting a lot of sleep lately since she had been back. She was missing her brother...and she was also missing someone else, but that is a story told for another time. Elektra noticed red hair walking into the bathroom from the mirror but she thought her mind was playing tricks on her again so she ignored it and just went back to fixing her makeup again as she noticed now that she hadn't put any mascara on her eyes. How silly of her. She reached into her bag for her mascara and then looked up and there she was. Selina Skylar and Merlin she looked terrible. She knew Quidditch try outs were going on and with Selina being captain...well...Elektra thought that maybe the young Gryffindor was just doing too much for her young age. Elektra wanted to say something, but wasn't quite sure what to exactly say so she thought of the only thing she could think of at the time which was, "You look terrible." |
Quote:
|
Selina...sounding bitter?? This was something she hadn't heard in a while. Elektra smirked to herself and she looked at her hand and then back up into the mirror. "Better than that face of yours was doing I'm sure. Shame I'm going to have a scar, but then again...It'll be a nice reminder of the time I personally finally got you back from the time at the ghost ship and everything else that you caused to ruin my life with, but I digress." She said coldly back to Selina finally glaring over at her and then raised her eyebrow. She honestly didn't know if Selina was going to have some payback coming to Elektra right about now, but Elektra was ready. She could take a hit or two from the little red-headed midget. |
Quote:
And there she went off again talking about Selina ruining her life. The redhead still had NO IDEA what she did to make Elektra so upset with her. How did she ruin her life? Elektra wasn't even around for Selina to ruin her life. Elektra left the school and left Selina to her own devices in the time she was gone, "I ruined your life....? Tell me, how did I do that being that I was here and you were Merlin knows where. I couldn't do anything to ruin your life if I didn't even see you." |
Elektra just sighed and then looked down and then back up. "Listen...you really have no idea what I went through the last year so I think it would be a little wise...SELINA...that you don't tick me off anymore than you already did. We don't want a repeat of the bathroom a couple of weeks ago...do we? Merlin knows I don't, but still...if you want I won't hold back." she said coldly leaning towards Selina only inches away from her ear. "Oh, and I am curious..." She paused and then leaned up right against her ear whispering coldly to her. "Does it still bother you that you are my sloppy seconds to Gideon?" |
The redhead rolled her eyes when Elektra freaked about Selina not knowing anything about her.. Selina was so sick of that comment. It seemed that everyone she knew was some troubled soul that couldn't ever be pushed or they would have a meltdown. She understood that everyone had troubles but Selina had troubles too... She never let it consume her. She was stronger than to wallow in self pity. "Oh shove it Elektra.". Selina said, "I'm not going to fight with you to satisfy some sick need you have to convince yourself that I'm the bad guy. You hit me.". But when Elektra whispered in her ear aboit Selina being Gideon's sloppy seconds the redhead very nearly screamed. She stepped away from Elektra so she would not hurt her, "Shut up Elektra. I'm not his sloppy seconds. You kissed him and he kissed me. Grow up." |
Elektra chuckles. "Not only has fire in her hair, but has fire in her heart. Well this is definately a Selina I have not seen in a while." She said with confidence. "Listen sweetheart...you can act all tough, but deep down you know bloody well that between you and me...Gideon still thinks about me even when he is around you. I bet that when he holds you he is thinking about me in his arms looking at my devilish emerald green eyes." she said taunting her now. Elektra wasn't going to hold back. She was not going to be weak anymore. "You don't scare me...little one." |
Selina crossed her arms as Elektra continued to attempt to taunt Selina. The redhead was nothing short of uninterested in what Elektra had to say. The brunette was obviously trying her hardest to jab at Selina's insides and hurt her feelings. But to be honest, after Elektra hit Selina, the fourth year did not really care much for any of Elektra's purposefully hurtful words. She could make fun of her being "fire" or whatever she pleased all she wanted. But when Elektra brought Gideon into the situation and his affections toward Selina the redhead froze up. That was a subject that really affected Selina. Although Selina knew that Gideon cared about her and she him, there was a part of Selina that was afraid that he preferred Elektra. After all she was his first kiss and honestly the pair of them had never really talked about Elektra besides the one time he let it slip that he and Elektra had kissed. Selina was not an insecure person per say, but she cared a lot about Gideon and the thought of him thinking about someone else while he was with her made her insides hurt, but she could not let Elektra see her hurt. So she gave a stiff upper lip and tried to retort back to Elektra, "That's not true. You don't know anything about him. You took off before you even got the chance to know him." |
She was getting right under her skin. Perfect. Her plan was all coming together. "You and I both know deep down that if I didn't leave, Gideon probably would have chosen me, but since I left...he referred..." Elektra picked up a strand of Selina's hair and then let it drop down and she tilts her head. "to miss Selina Arden Skylar." Elektra just smirks. "Look at you trying to act like this isn't bothering you. Selina, you may be a tough Quidditch player with a hard exterior, but underneath that- once you peel away all those rough, hard layers- you are nothing but a scared little girl." |
Elektra was trying to get under Selina's skin and to an extent she was succeeding. It was not that Selina cared what Elektra thought or said, but more that Elektra's words verbalized a thought she never liked to think about, that she was second best. That had always been Selina's fear in everything she did, that was why she stuck to Quidditch because she loved it and because she knew that she was decent at. Everything else in her life, though, she was second best. Violet was the prettier than her, Kurumi was smarter than her, Elektra was stronger than her, Gideon was a better flier than her, Christopher was more well- read than her, the list went on and on. It was not a secret that Selina was second best in everything she did and she was usually okay with that, it was just the way things were, but the thought of being second best in Gideon's mind really upset her. So when Elektra touched Selina's hair the redhead pulled her face away from Elektra. She would not be chastised for Elektra's own amusement. "You know what Elektra. I'm not a scared little girl under all of these layers or whatever you want to say. You can say whatever you want, but it was never my intention to hurt you, the only one who keeps doing all of the hurting, physical or otherwise, is you." |
-reposting cause i am a bad girl- She smiles softly and then scoffs. "You keep telling yourself that. Just know this: I think it would be best to watch your back....little lion cub. You never know when the snake might make her move." Elektra chuckles and backs away from Selina and starts backing out of the bathroom then gives Selina a wink before she stepped out into the hallway. |
As she walked along the second floor corridor, Gwendolyn looked down at her cat. This was probably one of the most stupid ideas she ever had, but she wouldn’t realize it until… in a few minutes, actually. After opening the bathroom door, she looked over her shoulder to see if Jinx was around. Eeeep- where is he?, the Ravenclaw asked herself and then heard a ‘meyow’ coming from the bathroom. Realizing that Jinx was already inside, Gwendolyn stepped in and scaned the place. So her bestie hadn’t arrived yet. She then took her wand out and started taking a few steps towards the mirror. This is so totally a good idea! |
Quote:
Entering the girls' bathroom located on the second floor, the young Gryffindor immediately spotted her friend and the girl's cat. 'Here I am, sorry to have kept you waiting.' Ariadne announced, with tremor in her voice both due to enthusiasm and fear if something went wrong. 'So...um...what should I do, exactly?' |
Quote:
‘Well… you can… observe?’, Gwen said and clapped her hands together. But- ‘Actually. Hold Jinx for a second’, the girl went on talking, passing the fluffy hairball to Ariadne. Then she took out her wand and pointed it at the cat. ‘Calm down. I won’t hit you’ Actually… ‘Errr… you know what? Better put him down’ What? Just in case… Right. The incantation-Multicorfors… Multicorfors, she repeated a fe times in her head. Well, perhaps Lewis was right. The incantation seemed to be fine. ‘Ready?’ Now watch and learn. |
Quote:
Observe. Right. She could do that. Ari could sense some nervousness on Gwen's part but decided not to comment on that, trying to avoid Gwen snapping at her. 'Hold him? Suuure.' the Gryffindor said, a bit too eager to please. Jinx wrestled in her arms for a while, but eventually gave up and nestled himself against her. He surely had no clue what was about to happen. When Gwen pointed her wand towards them, it dawned on Ari that the spell might hit her too. What if she turned into a cat?!? That wasn't very likely to happen, but nothing compares to the vivid imagination of a child. Mercifully, Gwen suggested she put the cat down. Ari let out a deep breath she didn't know she had been holding. Her throat constricted when Gwen asked if she (or the cat, who could tell?) was ready. 'Go on then.' Ariadne said bravely, very unlike the way she actually felt. Fighting the urge to cover her eyes with her hands, Ari watched her friend. |
Quote:
*blink-blink* What? I don’t get it…, she thought as she looked at Jinx. ‘Nothing’ FAAAIL. Oh well, maybe Lewis was wrong. The spell was wrong. It didn’t do anything… Hmph. As she kneeled to check if the tail of her cat didn’t even started looking blueish, she was able to spot a part of her own hair which was now…. BLUE!?! Touching the blue stripe of hair, Gwendolyn’s hands started shaking. She immediately started running towards the mirror. ‘It’s blue! A-ari…. It’s blue!’, the girl squeaked. |
Quote:
'It's blue? What are you talking about? Jinx is no more blue than I am.' Ariadne replied, puzzled, only after that actually looking straight at Gwen. 'Oh, you meant...that.' Ooops. Gwen's hair was blue. Well, not totally, just a streak of it. 'Err-there should be a counter spell, I'm sure we'll find it in some book.' The Gryffindor considered taking her friend to the Hospital Wing, but quickly realized that made no sense, since she wasn't hurt in any way. 'I'm sure we'll fix this. But I must say, it looks really becoming on you.' The girl was being dead serious. |
Quote:
‘What am I going to do?!!!’ Merlin’s beard! It was blue and it was all her fault. Hmph. Think, Gwendolyn! Think!, she told herself while twirling the wand in her hands. ‘Got it!’, she said out loud and then cleared her throat. ‘Finite’, the girl said loud and clear, pointing the wand at the terrible blue colored streak, but this didn’t work either. ‘I don’t get it’ At least this spell was good. And she knew she was able to cast it with no problem. Maybe she should have pointed it at Jinx, just like she did when casting the color changing charm? The third year thought for a moment and then tried it again. Fail. Twice. After looking once more at her reflection in the mirror, Gwen tried thinking of what she could do. There were no other options. Finite or Finite Incantatem wouldn’t work… she couldn’t go to the Hospital Wing because the Healer would probably kill her for keeping her from getting to other patients in time ,when she wasn’t even injured… the color changing potion was too hard to brew and it only lasted for a couple of hours… and that was it. As she eard Ariadne’s remark, Gwen acted totally unlike her. She didn’t give her bestie a cold look and didn’t reply anything rude. She just… laughed. There. Because it was funny. And stupid. But mostly funny. |
*MEE SQUEEEAAAK SQUEEE MEEEEP!! "If you are going to insist on soaking in my pumpkin soup at dinner each night, then there is no other way around it," Kurumi sighed as she fussed with the pygmy puff on her way to the girls' bathroom. One thing was for sure, Momotaro II was just like Walnut when it came to bathing, only the pygmy puff didn't foam at the mouth. Walnut did, and it frightened her to bits when it had first happened. Hair on end and hissing and foam. Kurumi had thought that the feline had gone rabid at the mere thought of water. “Honestly, this is the third time this week already.” And she had only had the pygmy puff for somewhere around 36 hours. This was going to be a long week. Entering the girls’ bathroom, Kurumi was pleased to find it empty and immediately headed over towards one of the sinks. She turned the handle on the hot water and plugged the drain, sticking her hand in the basin to test that the water wasn’t too hot an mixing in cold water now and again whenever it felt like it was. “Now, bathing really isn’t all THAT bad,” she said with a heavy sigh, pygmy puff on her shoulder as she reached into her bag for the flea shampoo she used on Walnut. “A bath teaches you to take time, meditate and be mindful of your body.” Because, you know, pygmy puffs needed to be mindful too. Just because they were small balls of fluff did not excuse them from this. Nope. Once the sink was filled, Kurumi ever so slowly lowered Momotaro II into the warm water. *MEEP MEEEEEEEE SQUEEE ME ME MEEP* “Stop stop stop,” Kurumi said as the little guy began splashing water all over the place and, in the process, mixed the shampoo with the water, causing the entire sink to turn into a lavender scented bubble bath. When the flailing stopped, Kurumi’s shoulders relaxed. “There, you see? This isn’t so ba---“ But her hands were holding onto nothing. O__________o WHERE DID HE GO?! Bubbles floating all over the place and the front of her robes soaking wet, Kurumi’s wrinkly hands searched the contents of the sink for the pygmy puff only to find that he really was…gone?!?! FUDGESICLE! Professor Williamson was going to FAIL her. *MEEP MEEP MEEP MEEP* The sound was coming skyward and Kurumi wibbled slightly. He was squeaking at her lovingly from the Great Beyond…wait a second… Her head snapped upwards and saw that the pygmy puff had managed to get stuck inside one of the bubbles made from the shampoo and was currently floating around in the air squeaking and looking rather pleased with himself. “Sorry to burst your bubble, Momotaro II,” Kurumi sighed, mentally slapping herself for the horrible pun she had just made, as she poked his bubble and caught the tiny creature in her hands. Returning to the sink now, Kurumi proceeded to finish shampooing the pygmy puff, taking extra time to massage the solution into his fur and hopefully relieving any tension that his round frame may have, Kurumi turned on the water again and carefully rinsed him off until not more suds came off his fur and then used a Hot Air Charm to dry him. “Done,” she said in an exhausted tone. “How about tomorrow you decide not to swim in my pumpkin soup, okay?” |

Pres scrubbed her hands with her favorite peppermint soap, and hoped the Kurumi wouldn't look at her like she was a stupid little kid. To be honest, Presley envied the fifth year more than she could ever remember wanting anything in her life. It seemed to her like Kurumi had everything just handed to her. She was in gryffindor, which meant brave, the smartest person with always top scores, prefect in her fourth year, a good baker, and everybody liked her. the same could not be said for little Presley, who couldn't convince the headmaster to skip her up a year even though she was in Ravenclaw. She was dying to ask Kurumi how she managed it all, but with the intense fear of being ridiculed, she kept her mouth shut. |

"Just...giving this guy a bath," she said, stating the obvious. "He likes to, um, bathe in pumpkin soup." Something about it being good for his fur perhaps? Kurumi really had no idea. She would have to look up the benefits of pumpkin later in the library. "Be...careful, the floor in here is still a little wet." As in, do not slip and fall, please. |
Her hands were covered in dirt, and who knows else what, she gave them a double wash for good measure Olivia left Flippert on the side of the sink while she washed her hands. His fur was dirty too, from when she was carrying him, and he probably rolled around mud when they were outside. "Awwwww, that's the cutest", Flippert was lapping up water comming out of the fosett, Pygmys need to drink too, not just eat! Then, Flippert jumped into the sink, landing ontop of the plug so he could have a bath. Gee this was an independant Pygme puff. He floated and cleaned his fur in the water, she diddn't even half to scrub. After that, Flippert jumped back up to the edge of the sink and shook the water off, getting it all over Olivia. |
Post #3 - Pygmy Puff Diaries Pyxie had been a good girl during dinner... until she had decided that she wanted to try swimming in Amelia's Pumpkin Juice. "Honestly, I don't know what came into you, bouncing into my drink and splashing it all over the table." Pixie seemed rather pleased by the look of it. In fact, she was enjoying it so much, she didn't want to come out of the glass. This was why Amelia had to walk into the girl's bathroom carrying a glass of Pumpkin Juice and Pygmy Puff. "Naughty Pixie. You need to have a bath now!" Not that the Puff even knew what a bath was. She'd learn soon enough, and she might dislike it so much that she will never try Pumpkin Juice swimming again. "Though I can't help but notice you like drinking the stuff you're floating in." So she could add Pumpkin Juice to the things that Pixie liked ingesting. *SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK* Yes, Pixie was agreeing that she rather did like bathing in Pumpkin Juice as well as drinking it. "I'm actually sorry I have to bathe you in the water because I know you'll hate it... but I brought some really nice shampoo with me and you might like it." Okay, maybe not, but it was worth a shot. Heading over to a sink, she placed Pixie's glass down and then reached into her pocket extracting the shampoo and placing it beside the glass. "I'll try to make this as pleasant as possible, naughty Pixie." She stoppered the drain and then started filling the sink with water making sure that it was neither too hot or too cold. "Okay, bathtime!" YAAAY! :/ Reaching into the glass, she carefully picked up Pixie --which was no easy feat -- and added her to the water in the sink. Bad idea, since as soon as she was immersed, she Puff started freaking out. She shrieked and swam around trying to get out of the water. *SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEEEEEEAAK* Amazed that she didn't even need to cover her ears, Amelia immediately went to try to sooth her poor Puff. "It's okay, Pixie. The water won't hurt you. It's good for you." UGH her poor Puff. :( She started to try to pet the shaking Puff, though it didn't really work that well. "Seems it's best to just get this over with then, isn't it Pixie? Picking up the shampoo bottle, she poured some into her hand while making a note that she needed to get more pet shampoo soon. The one she was using might not be so good for a Pygmy Puff. Lathering it onto her hands, she then started to gently clean Pixie with it. She made sure to stay away from her eyes, ears, and mouth, but get into anywhere that was covered in Pumpkin Juice. *SQUEAK SQUEAK* "See? This isn't so bad. Even if you don't like it much." More soothing of the Puff as Amelia started rinsing the shampoo off of her. "And now you smell of strawberries!" When all the shampoo was rinsed off, she was taken out of the sink and carefully dried with a washcloth. "I'm sorry I scared you, Pixie. You're shaking so much." But at least bathtime was over. She snuggled her Puff in hopes of calming her down some and took the stopper out of the sink so that the water would drain. Picking up the glass and shampoo, she left the bathroom. So Pixie's first bath was... an interesting experience. |
Ella walked into the girl's bathroom after having a major sneezing attack. She didn't know what in the world had caused it to happen but as she was wandering the halls she started to sneeze and couldn't stop. It was all very strange and she figured she'd better go blow her nose or something to prevent it from happening again. Perhaps she was allergic to something or someone at the school? She walked up to the mirror, frowning at her reflection. Her nose was very red, and itchy. She turned and went into the stall, coming back out with some toilet paper and began to blow rather loudly. Good thing the bathroom wasn't too crowded because she sounded like a trumpet or something at the moment. |

Nerida held her green-erm chocolate covered pygmy puff to the bathroom...You would think a pygmy puff would have manners especially a lady pygmy puff, but I guess Squeaky decided she wasnt going to use those things...Squeaky had bits and pieces of cake in her fur, it was a mess. I started running some mild hot water into one of the sinks, feeling it I made sure it wasnt to hot nor to cold. I placed Squeaky in the sink and picked up the soap ready to start cleaning her. The soap slipped out of my hands and I bent down to pick it up, when I stood up, there was no Squeaky, just soapy water... I grimmanced and started to search the bathroom...Its not something I did every day, so it should be fun... I looked in all the stalls, no luck. I looked in all the other sinks. Sighing I walked back over to my sink, where I saw a green puff ball swimming in the water. I didnt know Pygmy Puffs could swim.. I whispered. I picked her up and said You know Sapphira you gave me quite a scare, I thought I lost you. I finished getting all of the chocolate out of her fur and then I took a towel and dryed her completely. |
Laura was upset after having a fight with Lana and so she had been crying and after that she decided that she was going to clean her face and so she had come into the girls bathroom to make sure that her eyes didn't look so bad she didn't want anyone to know she had been crying and she didn't want Lana to make fun of her for crying over a silly argument. |

She recognized Laura and smiled while getting to a sink. "Hey there, Laura!" Only after she was done washing her hands was that Sophie noticed Laura didn't seem well. "Are you okay?" She asked her friend while shaking her hands to dry them off. |

Pygmy Puff post #4 She had thought she'd gotten all the mashed potatoes out of her pygmy puff's fur, but as she'd woken up, Stella had noticed some specks still clinging. That meant she was goin g to have to try and give Nuage a bath, and something told her that wasn't going to be the easiest things to do. Not only because said pygmy puff in question seemed content to just try and lick the dried food off her fur, but bec ause Stella had the oddest feeling a bath would go over about as well as trying to give Lyra a bath. She was going to have to try, though. She wasn't about to bring the puff back to the next CoMC lesson with food stuck to her, after all, so bath it must be. At least she could try and make it fun, with the pet shampoo she'd hardly ever used for her cat in tow, along with a small brush for later. Stepping into the bathroom, puff humming contentedly on her shoulder, she headed for a sink and turned the tap on the slightest bit. "Okay Nuage. Time to get clean," she said, setting the supplies down long enough to try and pick the creature up off her shoulder. It all seemed to go fine, until Nuage heard the water and tried to shimmy up her arm again. Sighing, she shifted to grasp it gently again and set her in the shallow pool of water that had gathered in the bottom of the sink. Keeping a hand ready, she reached over to get the shampoo, then squeezed a tiny bit into her other hand, which was cupped. Wetting the shampoo, she tilted to rub it into Nuage's fur along with using the extra water to wet it, then massaged a bit until she could feel a faint humming start again. That was better. She wasn't looking forward to rinsing, but at least right now things were alright. And she used her hand to scoop up water once it was time to rinse the bubbles away, stroking the fur until every last bit of shampoo was washed out, along with the icky little bits of food. Once that was finished, she picked Nuage up again, got a towel and wrapped the wet furball up. Rubbing the towel around, she checked every once in a while until it looked like her puff was dry. Maybe a bit damp, but not dripping anymore, so she switched to using the brush to fluff the fuzz and finish drying the pygmy puff. That had gone a lot easier than expected, really, but she was still keeping her pygmy puff from rolling onto her plate again. |
Before Laura could answer, Sophie gave her a reassuring smile and looked at the Pygmy Puff on her shoulder. "I've just washed my hands, Lavender, now it's your turn!" She put the creature in the sink and slowly turned it on again. Lavender looked up at Sophie as if she was begging not to be cleaned up. "Haha, don't look at me like that, Lavender! It's good to feel clean, you know!" She watched as water fell on Lavender and it got smaller and smaller while its fur got all wet. Sophie giggled and looked back at Laura. "Isn't it sweet?" Sophie didn't bring her shampoo or anything with her, so she would have to use just the soap. "I hope you get all fluffy with this!" First she put soap on her hands and rubbed them together to make bubbles. Then she started washing Lavender as carefully as she could, trying to not leave any dirt on her. The Pygmy Puff looked funny all wet, but it was looking adorable now that it had soap all over. "How cute are you, Lavender! Bubbles look really good on you!" Sophie didn't know it, but she was lucky that Lavender was a quiet Pygmy Puff, otherwise it would be squeaking extremely loud now, as it was most definitely not enjoying the bath. "Look, Laura, how cute she looks!" Heh! Sophie turned the Pygmy Puff around to see if she had left any dirty spot on its fur. "I think I got it all." She said, placing Lavender under the falling water once again. "Lalalalalala! You'll look lovely when I'm done, Lavender!" After the soap was gone, Sophie held Lavender up. "I wish I knew a spell to dry you off, Lavender, but unfortunately I don't..." She pulled out a small towel out of her bag and put it over the Pygmy Puff. She felt Lavender moving around under the towel and giggled while drying her. "You sure don't like showers, do you, Lavender?" Tadah! Lavender was almost 100% dry, but its fur was now all messed up. Sophie laughed softly. She put the towel owl and pulled out a little brush from her bag. "Almost done!" She gently brushed all of Lavender's fur. "You're so fluffy now, Lavender!! You look even cuter and more adorable than before!" She said happily. The Pygmy Puff moved its little nose as if it was sinffing something. "Didn't I tell you it felt good?" |

Wait...what had just happened? Had the Gryffindor said something wrong? She hadn't meant that the girl wasn't allowed to be in the bathroom because Kurumi was bathing her pygmy puff. In fact, she was done doing that and almost done cleaning up, so there really was no reason for her to leave. Setting Momotaro II on her shoulder, his favorite place because he could see everything, Kurumi did some last minute cleaning up and then headed towards the door feeling unsure if she should try and catch up with Presley or not. |
Ella paced back and forth in the girls' room, waiting for Laura to show up. She wanted to talk to her friend but was nervous how she would react. She took a deep breath, deciding it would be fine. |
Quote:
Laura didn't have long to wait, as she walked into the bathroom, she saw that Ella was the only one there, so obviously Carigan and Sophie had no idea about this. "Sorry if I'm late." Laura smiled at Ella, "I got a bit held out." |
Quote:
Ella walked over and leaned her back against one of the sinks, looking at Laura nervously. "So I was just-well I thought we could talk about-" There she went again, not knowing what to say. "I want to know why you keep doing things to lose points for Hufflepuff." She finally blurted out, covering her mouth with her hand when she had finished. Eyes wide, she looked at Laura, hoping she wouldn't be furious. |
Quote:
Laura sighed and she leaned against the wall with her hands over her chest, "I gain points and I lose points, I've actually gained about 80" okay so it could have been much higher if she hadn't lost all the points but well she never lost what she didn't have. Laura looked at Ella trying not to cry. "If you don't want to be my friend, just tell me Ella." Laura sighed, it wouldn't be the first person who had decided she wasn't suitable to be friends with, and well she didn't have a sister that was good enough for Ravenclaw and very smart and was hardly in trouble and what was she nothing, if she didn't play up when people actually recognise her, no she would just be another student. |
Off to bed after this! Quote:

Poor Laura :( Quote:
Laura was right, Ella only had a brother and couldn't imagine what it would be like to be torn apart from one's twin. She continued to listen, not wanting to interrupt. It was the first time she'd seen Laura so upset and it made her heart hurt. When her friend had finished, Ella began to talk quietly, looking into her friend's eyes. "Laura, I don't know what it's like for you. I'm sure it's hard, not being with your sister but it isn't like you're all alone here." Hufflepuff was actually a pretty wonderful place to find friends. "Plus, maybe you and your sister could find a time during each day to get together, for a meal or something?" That might be nice, then they would see eachother frequently. The little badger rolled her eyes when Laura went on about her being smart and brainy. "Laura...do you know how much studying I did even before I came to Hogwarts? I was so afraid that being a muggleborn would put me behind that I went nuts learning things...the only reason I'm so 'smart'" She said, making finger quotations around the last word, "is because I was too scared to just come and learn at the same pace as everybody else." |
