Kurumi leaned back and bit and sort of blinked at Treyen a few times. She, kind of sort of did care about all the glares. It was extremely uncomfortable and downright rude in the Gryffindor's book - especially coming from Sierra now considering all that had happened last term AND her taking the snake into her own home over the summer. "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh...." Awkward. Moving on? "A long time ago," she laughed. "Takashi will be 27 this summer. My brothers are all much older than I am." |
OMG! Kaika is all grown up >_< Text Cut: Kurumi "Doesn't matter anymore, does it? Because you're in Gryffindor and...since Jonathan is a nice boy, well, no need to be truly concerned." In all fairness, the sole fact that Kurumi liked the Slytherin boy was indication enough of how good that boy was. No need to officially meet him to form that opinion. And...he decided not to pay attention to the 'glaring' conversation. It wasn't of much importance considering that Kurumi will probably be greater than any of those who dared to glare at her while at Hogwarts. "My sister will be 24 this summer, their time at Hogwarts probably overlapped." He nodded, his mind free of any thoughts in regards to either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, "Not sure if they met, though." Considering Kaika's history with the older-than-her Ravenclaws. But that's not what they were talking about in the first place, was it? He couldn't even remember. That probably meant the time to leave will come soon. |
they do that...it's freaky...Kurumi is 15 now o_______0 Quote:
Jonathan didn't seem to be too concerned about it all though. In fact, he had probably already had enough of a trial run in dealing with with Josh and Salander...and Carter...and Adam...and, well, a lot of people. "Oh, it probably did...with all three of my brothers actually. Although, I think only Junichiro would have really gotten to know people outside of his house, or so I've heard." Kurumi sighed a bit. She sort of missed her brothers recently, probably because so many of her pseudo older brothers were graduating soon and the emptiness of them leaving was making her think of her own family. Speaking of which...she was supposed to meet Selina to clean out their lockers. She ought to get moving on that. "I...um...I ought to get going. Need to clean out my locker one last time." |
Charms project Post #10 Violet was sitting underneath the stained glass window featuring the notorious witch Circe, practising the charms she had been using all term on her egg, Lewis. She spoke the incantations softly under her breath so as not to disturb others in the library. She had been so nervous when this project started, afraid she would mess up her egg or that one of her fellow Slytherins, ever eager to take the advantage, might mess with it in the dorm when she wasn't looking (to prevent this last, she had been keeping Lewis locked in her metal keepsake box every night). Now, after a semester's practise, she felt comfortable with each of the five charms they had learned. Lewis sat quietly in her lap, not trying to roll away from her as he usually did. He seemed to understand that a library alcove filled with stained glass windows was no place for a charmed metal egg to be rolling wildly around in. Violet had her wand in hand while she practised. *swish and tap* "Argentum Frigidus"--and Violet felt Lewis grow cool beneath her touch. *swish and tap* "Argentum Calidus"--and she felt again, and Lewis had warmed back up to his original temperature. *twirl and point* "Argentum Siccus"--Lewis was now getting dry as a bone. *twirl and point* "Argentum Humidus"--and the egg gradually regained its former moisture till it felt just right. Violet looked fondly down at Lewis, stroking it gently with her other hand and gazing at the slowly swirling coloured strands that constantly moved beneath his smooth, shiny, silver surface. She had been dying of curiousity to know what he would hatch into (provided she had cared for him properly this term, which she was hoping she had). But now she felt a little sorry that Lewis the Egg would soon be gone; she would miss him. Hmm, she thought to herself, when did Lewis go from being an 'it' to a 'him'? She looked back down again--was that a teensy, tiny spot of tarnish there at his pointier end? Or was she imagining it? Well, a little polishing wouldn't hurt either of them. Pointing her wand at the egg again, right at the questionable spot, she began moving her wand back and forth while she softly murmured, "Excolo..." |

The boy only nodded, Kurumi knew best. What? Really? That was...neither here nor there, because he didn't know if his sister knew them or not, and even if she did, well, he'd rather not know if they got along or not. "A very nice coincidence." Then again, Sierra's sister had met Kaika, because a Greingoth had been mentioned before...chances were that Kurumi's brothers and his sister never actually crossed paths. It was time to leave. She had things to do...and he had to study, he's been neglecting it for a while now. "That's okay...I should get going as well." Nowhere else, because he was bound to stay in the library for the rest of the day, that's how much he's been neglecting books. "It was great seeing you, Kurumi." He smiled but failed to move from his seat. |
Minnie found the book she was wanting to find and found her favorite spot. She took out her parchment and looked around. Most of the finals were over so she was one of the only ones still in the library. She smiled it didn't surprise her. She opened the book and began writing. |
Text Cut: Minnie Harvey was actually looking for Minnie right now. He had to see her before they left, and he had to see her alone, that is what his heart told him. He knew there was only two places she went to the Stained Glass Windows and the Observatory. He thought he would check here first, and he thanked his lucky stars. There she was as usual sitting by the windows. He smiled, she always had a book in her lap and was always taking notes. He walked up to her "I see you are living up to your names." he chuckled as he sat down next to her hoping he wasnt disturbing her. He knew she would know what he meant, he didnt have to explain it to her, she was much more smarter than that. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey looked at the cover and saw that she had indeed come to study the game. Harvey chuckled at her comment "But that is IF I play, I am not sure yet. We will see. But I would love to see you play no doubt about that. But it is good to get a head start. " he said smiling "So it this book good for the purpose for which you are reading it... oh! and I see a quill moving too! wow! a new combination. I dont think I have seen that one yet!" he said chuckling again. It was true the only time he saw this combination was in class, he hadnt seen it outside of class... well until now that is. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey did a fake shock face and whispered so no-one could hear them "You? bored of taking notes? I am shocked Miss Wheatborn" he chuckled slightly "No I am kidding, but it is good to see this, Oh! I expect to see you playing next year after all this." he said chuckling and pointing to the book and note taking "No I am only joking, once you think you are ready then join the game. But I am sure you will be ready" he said smiling, he loved seeing Minnie take an interest in things. It was good. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey tried to remember what she was talking about, and the suddenly it hit him, oh yeah THAT thing. He too looked around to make sure no-one was listening "Really? Are you sure? Nothing? That IS weird, but then this IS Hogwarts, weird things are bound to happen with everything related to Magic" he said wondering why there were no books on it. Even if the Professors hadnt heard of it, there should be a book on it at least. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey listened to what Minnie was saying, he could not believe what he was hearing. "That is just too weird, that all this stuff is happening and no-one knows why it is happening or who is doing all this stuff." he said looking around to make sure no-one was listening in on their conversation. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey was shocked at what he was hearing. "A bear?! A teddy bear?! Now THAT is strange. I am wondering the same thing, why a bear. Yes I think anyone would have assumed it was a student, but you witnessed it all." he whispered still on the look-out to see if anyone was listening their conversation. "Yes I agree I think you had better tell the Professor, they will know what to do" he smiled. This was all very weird and creepy. He wondered what else went on in this school. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey saw her yawn and start putting things into her bag "Yeah and we had better get you to your common room before you start something new over here, and I mean falling asleep in the library. Although that wouldnt be too surprising seeing how much you are up here, people might think that you sleep here" he said chuckling. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey heard her squeak and her eyes got wide "Dont worry I was kidding, I dont think people notice. Well I hope not or your secret will be out. Sure I will walk you to your common room, or is there somewhere else you want to go?" he asked as if he was not sure whether she wanted to head to the common room or some other place. maybe she wanted to head outside into the fresh air, since it was nice out nowadays. |

Text Cut: Minnie Harvey smiled, if she wanted to go back to her room then it was fine with him. He then noticed her looking around, and she made a request "Of course Minnie, I will walk you back! I should have thought of that without you having to ask. I will walk with you." he smiled, he knew why she asked him. He also knew that she would be like this until the holidays, that was when she would be able to let her hair down and relax, also get on with her life and not have to worry about who is round the next corner. "With me around, you are NEVER alone in this castle!" he smiled. |
