AAAAUUUUGGGHHHHH. Sarah had stuff to do! Important stuff, like CHANGING OUT OF HER UNIFORM! Finally getting a pair of jeans! Or maybe reviewing her notes like a good little nerd. That was important also.

She huffed, glaring around the room until she noticed the food.

Mmm, she hadn't eaten since... too long ago. She pouted as she noticed that no one was eating. That meant she probably couldn't either. *Siiigghhh*.

She sank into a chair and pulled the only piece of entertainment she had brought to Hogwarts, her big, huge, thick muggle novel. She opened it to the page she was on and began to read.

Maybe she would see Eris, Ame, or Evangeline. Maybe she would decide to be in a better mood if she could talk to them...

Kelsey walked over. Her eyes popped wide open. She saw the most delicious foods spread out in front of her. She sat down and waited for the meeting to begin.

occ:anyone?pwease??

Harlow wobbled over to him and sat in the empty chair next to him. "I hate flying," she squeaked out. Her entire family was fliers. Her grandparents were both of the Ghana national team. Her father flew for Egypt and her brother was the youngest person to play for a national team. And she could barely keep from slipping off her broom. She didn't know how they did it. She scooted closer to Regulus and snuggled up against his side. It was just comforting to be next to someone.

Victoria walked toward the study tables. From the notice board, it sounded like pretty much a party, so she came with a smile on her face. You should always be happy at a party right? And people like to make friends with positive people, and that's what Victoria's aiming for here.

FOOD!

That was the first word that popped into her mind when she arrived. There are so many of them! Sandwiches, cookies, milk shakes, you name it! Victoria cannot help it but to take a piece of sugar cookie from the plate and slowly nibbled the tip of it.

Victoria noticed a girl about her age standing next to her. She decided it's time to make friends again. The more the better. "Hi," greeted Victoria. "I'm Victoria."

Maria walked slowly into the common room and approached the tables, slouching into a chair. She was tired, and hungry. Thankfully there was food.

Snakes meeting! Maddy walked into the Slytherin studdy area, she was excited to meet the head boy and head girls. first thing shedid was walk over to the food table, yum cookies! she ate a chocolate chip, and walked over to take a seat at the tables.

Maddy recognised another first year snake, "these cookies are great".

Now, let me tell you strait.

I know I shouldda been going to this meeting thinga mabobber for like, connections or whatever. Right? Right. But to be honest, I really just wasn't feeling it. On the other hand, maybe I'd make friends? Pfffffttt. Yeah right.

Mantra: Ew. Brits. Sigh.

My hateful thoughts were being especially sent to the old hat a few dozen floors away (at least it felt like that). I was American! American's are brave, and courageous, and smart, and loyal, and just, and witty!

....Pffft. BS. I wish.

But from what I've heard of snakes? They're slithery, sneaky, slimy, conniving little buggers. I wasn't that. At all.

Ew. Brits. Sigh.

But I'm getting off topic. What ended up happening was the word FOOD. Like the edible kind (the feast...if you could call it that...was another example of Ew.Brits.Sigh). Maybe British snacks would be like American snacks? Fingers crossed. And maybe I'd make few friends. (pfffttt.) And maybe not.

Well.

I guess I'll try my luck.

And with that, I strode over the somewhat populated study tables.

Selena's feet didn't touch the ground, but she didn't mind. The idea of taking a milkshake was very tempting and the only thing that stopped her from taking one was the Pygmy Puff on her lap and how her legs kept swinging back and forth from her seat. Selena was jolted from her thoughts when she heard a girl say hello. Selena looked around, just to make sure that the girl had been addressing Selena. When Sel was sure, she smiled at the girl, gesturing at one of the seats beside her. She had been saving for Emma, but new friends were good too and new minions.

"Haaaiii, I'm Selena, awesome and taking over the universe," Selena beamed. And if this girl said otherwise, she was dead wrong... or just dead if she ever got that prison on Mars. Sel wondered if Santa granted Christmas wishes like that... hmm... "Can I call you Vickie?" she asked.

Lua walked quickly into the Study Tables. She completly forgot about the house meeting. She was about to go to have something to eat when she saw some Slytherins talking about the House Meeting and she all but ran to the common room. So much food! Thank Merlin, I'm starving!, she thought while she sat down next to a girl.

- Hello - she said out of breath. - I'm Lua. What's your name? Did I miss something? - she completed grabbing a handful of Peanut butter cookies and a mint tea.

Ariana Saw maddy eatting a cookie and shot her a terrifying look "Were Not Suppose To Touch The Food Yet!!" She warned the girl hoping that the Head boy & Girl didn't notice

Chelsea walked into the Slytherin Common Room. She walked over to the study tables and took a seat waiting for the meeting to start.

Victoria smiled weakly at the greeting the girl made as she sat down on the empty seat next to Selena. Not sure whether she was kidding or not. If it was then it would have been pretty funny. But people can be really unexpected these days.

Vickie wouldn't be the best name that suits Victoria. She wanted to say no. But it would have seemed just a tiny bit rude to say no when two peopl just first met. "I prefer Victoria." was all Victoria said. Then she added a smile to show that she's okay with it.

Maddy had no idea about that rule "Aaaah, on no I hope I dont loose any house points for that". She did not want to be the first Slytherin to loose house points twice.

Finally arriving, Melchior walked into the slytherin study hall area; a thick journal in one hand and the parchment with the announcement in the other.

The owl in which he received the letter wasn’t the nicest. It wouldn’t leave his side till he took the letter and read it. But he was very thankful he did or else the bird would have kept pecking at him.

He began to notice his surrounding, just in awe over the prodigious amount of food. Melchior walked further, happening to see a familiar face.

“Oh, hello,” he said to the Sarah with a smile. “We meet again.”

Maria looked up. "Hi, Lua! I'm Maria, Maria Charday" she said, smiling.

Since nobody seemed to have a problem with it, Sky kept singing (for anyone keeping track, she was up to Who Let the Dogs Out). She didn't have a bad voice per se, she just had to watch those high notes. She loved to sing though, and usually put her heart into it even if was just a goofy song.

Wist Ebony had hurried to the Slytherin Study Tables as soon as she had gotten the owl. She had been a little delayed thanks to that silly rule that the new healer had put off.
Wist was not wearing her black jacket with buttons up to her throat and she let her wild orange straw like hair hang loose.
Lots of food, and it all looked pretty good. Wist sat in a corner of the room and waited.

Well. Was this a meeting or a luncheon? Tori smirked as she entered the Study Tables area and spotted Corey sitting THISCLOSE to the food. He was about two feet closer to any of the food areas than any other student. It was rather funny-looking.

Taking a seat opposite the room from Sierra 'Candy Thief' Greingoth, Tori smoothed out her skirt and flipped her hair over one shoulder. Hey, she had only lost 5 points from her House. There were students out there who had lost like 20.

And when she found out who those students were, she was going to give them ALL a swift kick in the shins.

This kid was singing? That was so annoying... and it wasn't anything Aurora knew... probably a muggle song. Had Professor Lafay not been there (and Evelyn, who would have ratted her out soon as look at her) she probably would have pointed her wand at the girl and muttered silencio in her most irritated voice. As it was, she shot the girl a glare and turned back to her friends. Honestly, why would you go around singing like that in public?

Lua swallowed quickly - Nice to meet you! What year are you in?, she asked. She may as well try and make some friends while there.

Ha! There was that MOST ANNOYING student that had given her a moustache. Wist still had the moustache, but she would have it removed as soon as the meeting was over.
Wist stuck out her tongue at her briefly.

Sky looked around the room, noticed an older girl glaring at her, and immediately stopped singing. She looked at the girl for a second with a raised eyebrow, then turned her focus towards the food. Really, all the girl had was ask nicely, instead she'd glared at Sky. How rude!

Wist approached the girl who had been singing and sat down. "Oh don't mind her." Wist said matter of factly. "She is always like that."

Seriously? The kid still had the moustache on? HA! Hadn't she figured out how to remove it? That was brilliant! Aurora took her wand out and pointed it discreetly at the girl's face, "Colouro." she muttered under her breath. She didn't look round to see if it had worked but she really hoped it had! Just the idea that the girl could be walking round with a brightly glowing green moustache made the corners of her mouth twitch. She should probably help the girl get it off at the end of the meeting... she made a mental note to do this.

Finally. What was it with these first years..? Did she just raise her eyebrow at me? Aurora wondered if this girl had ever considered the magic of moustaches...

WHAT!!!! O____o Whether that was true or not, the kid did not have the right to be so... RUDE! She was definitely not getting any help with that moustache now. She could have it permanently for all Aurora cared. And, what's more, she had just inadvertently volunteered to be a possible test subject... lucky her.
