"Huh, what is a Veela? Are they a magical creature?" Temperance asks "Interesting, is it possible for muggleborn's to have magical creature blood in them?" she asks out of curiosity.

"This is hard to explain since I'm not full Veela nor am I half veela. I have less then like 1/8th veela in my blood thats why I'm still considered a pureblood plus a veela is still magical. But a Veela is said to be a really pretty female and charming their human but they can also shape-shift. But I can't shape-shift since I'm mainly pureblood witch. But anyone with the slightest bit of Veela blood in them has the beauty and charm. But like I said I'm only a tiny bit veela in my family a long time ago there was a one-eigth veela/pureblood witch so she only had the charm and beauty but even now it still runs in the family" she explained. "I don't think so but it would be possible to be a mixed blood with veela, wizzard, and muggle blood in them I'm sure"

"Okay, that's very interesting. Are there a lot of people that have Veela blood in them?" Temperance asks "Okay. There are many other magical creature's out there then?"

"Exactly so a pureblood can never be 100% pureblood as much as they hate to admit it they all have a muggle somewhere in their family tree because the wizarding race would have died out by now if it wasn't for mating with muggles. But as for my case thats the closest thing you get to a 100% pureblood even though I'm not, a veela is still magical although I probably have a muggle somewhere in my family tree but over time it dies out so that makes the family pureblood again. There are probably a lot of witches with veela in them mostly in France though because a lot of them go to Beauxbatons but none of them are full veela their all one-eigth or less of veela." she explained. "There are a lot of magical creatures out there" she said

"Then why do they try to claim that they're 100% pureblood when they really aren't? Interesting, wonder what make the people with veela blood more likely to be french or to be from France." Temperance says "Then we will probably be reading about them in our classes during our time here I bet."

"Hmm, let's see ... Accio treacle tart!" A piece of the delicious-looking tart whizzed forward and plopped onto Jez's plate. "Mm, now that's a good spell!" she said happily. "Right, try this; Aqua Eructo!" A jet of clear water streamed from Jez's wand, and hovered above them like a silver snake. Jez made it form the word 'Ravenclaw' in the air, laughing as she did so.

Elliot cautiously sniffed her hands again. They did seem clean. Hmph. She caught a glimpse of the other girl's bag and almost puked. TOO many BRIGHT colors! Elliot's favorite colors were black and white...plain and simple. "Er, nice bag. Not really my style, but it seems to fit you..." sort of.

Elliot also pursed her lips at the girl's friendly smile towards the elf. Hmph again! "I hope. I also hope they have salad, seeing as that's all I really eat. And chicken," she replied, tapping her lips gently with the tip of her finger nonchalantly.

As she waited for the food to appear, she kept glancing at her watch, her patience increasing with the passing minutes. ugh!

"Oh, Gaby! I am just so anxious for tomorrow..hopefully our classes are, well, all good!" she finally admitted, and got to tapping her fingers on the table habitually. "I am NOT nervous, no. I just don't know what to expect..." she muttered, giving the girl a very sad face. "...and what he will say when I get around to sending him the owl.." and by him, she met her father. Darius Martino Morganzo. Bah! The man whom she most wanted to impress, and who would be the least impressed tomorrow!

Aurora gasped in excitement when she saw all the dinner places disappear and dessert ones appeared instead alongside an array of delicious desserts. "Wow! I'm going to love this place!" She exclaimed.

Alice, quietly got up, and headed towards the common room. She smiled to her self and thought only one thing,"Today was almost as good as my Shepard's pie. Almost!".

"That's totally awesomesauce!" Jayden exclaimed while watching one girl partake in some really fun looking magic. "I'm Jayden... Not sure if we've met before... if we have, I apologize for not remembering, my brain has been a jumble lately." Jayden greeted the girl with a smile.


"Oh yum!" Jayden was totally excited for dessert. While reaching for some treacle tart Jayden noticed another girl, who appeared almost as thrilled as she was. "Hey there! Nice to meet you! I'm Jayden.." Jayden said, flashing the girl a warm smile.

Spooning some ice cream on her plate, Aurora smiled at the girl next to her, "Hiya! I'm Aurora."

Looking up at the noise of people leaving, she grinned and said, "looks like we're heading to the common rooms next."

"Oooh! Pretty name!" Jayden complimented the girl. "That was sooome welcome speech." Jayden said, trying to strike up a conversation.

Sometime later, seeing that it was about time to call it a night, Ivory stood up.

Clearing her throat for a second, she put her fingers to her lips giving a loud...

WHISTLE

Aware that everyone most likely was giving her a ridiculous look, she felt her sheepish grin widen in a dazzling smile.

"Now that I have your attention..." she laughed to her fellow Ravenclaws. "It's about time to turn in for the night. Ravenclaw newcomers" she announced with a wave of her hands as she headed towards the entrance. "Follow me this way, please to our common room and dormitories."

Yup yup now follow her yes?

Scott heard a whistle and then listened to the prefect tell all the Ravenclaws what to do, but stayed sitting down and waited for her to stop talking before leaving.

Jack turned around and looked at a girl maybe eleven or twelve. He wasn't the sort of sixteen year old that was all superior to younger children etc so he grinned and offered a hand. "Jack Rose." He replied, "nice to meet you, Sarah." He said politely. "I'm in Ravenclaw."

Jack turned around and saw India and he smiled. "Better than a lot of places I'd say." He chuckled, though there was air of grimness in his voice. He had an interest in house elves, seeing as he had been treated a lot like one at home.

"I've gotta go, and I think you have to too" he smiled.
"I'll see you tomorrow, meet me outside your common room before our first class" He smiled, then turned his head and walked out, 'I wonder what the Ravenclaw common room is like' he thought.

"I'll be there" Chelsea smiled then she got up and started to walk to her common room "I'll be by the lake in the morning probably so if you wanna hang out thats where I'll be" she told him and walked away smiling. What a great night she thought

"Good" He smiled warmly.
"Okay then, I'll look out for you" He said.

This WAS going to happen. This wouldn't be one of those awkward moments where you go around asking EVERYBODY where someone was.

He left feeling happy.

Sarah smiled back, teasingly, "I kinda figured you were in Ravenclaw, hence, you sitting at the Ravenclaw table." she said, shaking his hand, "It's nice to meet you, too, Jack."

She loved it when she met kids older than her who didn't discriminate her age. She had met a few people like that. It was kind of nice to know that she could have civil conversations with people who were older than her.

"I'm not sure if this is a bad question to ask, actually, it probably is... but... where did you get that scar?"

She doubted he would actually answer that, or at least he wouldn't be very happy about answering, anyway. But, her curiosity had gotten the better of her. Her imagination was providing all sorts of ways it could have happened, but she didn't want her own mind to be a source of rumor. It was just better to get was really happened so she could stop wondering about it. Also, because she wasn't coming up with any other conversation starter.

Jack's grin faltered at her question, but he recovered it soon enough. "Oh, the usual, fighting dragons, tackling trolls." He shrugged waving around an imaginary sword, laughing though their was a nervous edge to it, that he hoped Sarah wouldn't notice. Jack knew people would find out about how he magically got all these mysterious scars and bruises, but he just wanted one day at least of secrecy.

Sarah laughed along with him.

FAAKKKEE, her mind screamed at her. Shut up, she said to her mind. Eep, I'm talking to myself within my own head. Why couldn't she ever be normal?

Sarah raised an eyebrow, "Hmm, I suppose... well, anyway, you're what? A sixth year, or a seventh year?" she let her suspicions fade as she stared at him in a slightly admiring way, "It must be pretty cool to have been here for so long. I mean, I don't know much about this place, but it still has to be pretty awesome. I heard about all sorts of secret passages and moving staircases..."

To Sarah it was like she was in a candy land of all her favorite things. Magic, secrets, and adventure.

"Sixth." He told her, "actually, this is my first year too. I know, I just didn't realise there even was a Hogwarts until now. And I never got my letter. " He said vaguely. "I've read a lot in the past few weeks, and it sounds fantastic." He said, looking up at the ceiling.

Ouch, Loud noise in her ear. LOUD NOISE! Enya turned to glare at the person who had shouted at her and found herself staring into the eyes of her best friend. The one person who she hadn't seen in AGES! "Where the hell have you been!?" She demanded dropping her fork on to her plate with a clang. God how long had it been? Months? Wow that sucked.

But then she was talking about...well what? she really didn't know what the hell she was talking about. "Oi Louisa. English!" She simply said before turning back to her plate. Was this going to be one of those meetings where they argue all the time!?

"I've met another person like that." Sarah said, tilting her head, "His name was Jasper. He went to an American school somewhere before he came here. He's a seventh year." then she nodded, "It does sound fantastic. I personally can't wait to explore this place. And Quidditch! I'm looking forward to that, too.

Her legs were starting to protest standing for so long. She shifted her position and sat down next to Jack.

She hoped she would be able to use the brooms even if she didn't get to play for her team. She, contrary to the popular phobia, loved heights. She had it in her mind to fly up to the highest tower at night, just to see the view.

Jack nodded. "Might bump in to him, if I do I'll mention you." He added with a wink, and he reached for a lemon bar.
