Smiling, Beezus replied "Ow, I will.. But really .. I won't need to find you, I'd have to lose you first." They were like real siblings now. Shannon was always there when she badly needed someone.

"I have many friends now, but some are .. well .. " she began, unable to finish it.. How is she going to tell Shannon about some of the students she met ? Would she say she don't like them ? Won't that make her judgemental ? "Well .. they're great !" Beezus mumbled.

"Well hopefully you guys will be able to gain those points back. You never know, you might still be able too. I guess there is alot that goes into getting and losing house points." Temperance says.

"I also wonder when the feast will be over. Yeah I'm also excited for classes to start and I plan on taking potions, defense, herebology, charms, transfiguration. How about you?" she asks.

Erin felt Harvey's advice transparently. It has no effect to her. Well, all she wanted is have a goodnight sleep and now she won't even have one. She just hopes that tomorrow and the next day until ten months at Hogwarts is over, she's going to survive everything. "Not me. I've never been this moody before. I'm always sensitive to a lot og things around me. The change of atmosphere maybe," she said, confused on what's going on.

She just laughed when she heard Harvey's take about the plates, "I mean, magic could have made it easier to clean those plates, right? And what's with the House Elves? I thought they're allowwed on the kitchens only? They're out cleaning?" she said looking more confuse about things.

"Oh, how interesting!" Jez could tell Nathaniel hadn't been entirely uplifted by her earlier comments. "You know, there's so much to learn here, I think being a Muggle-born would actually help - you don't have bad views of people, or anything!" Her voice softened. "I didn't mean to sound ... well, mean. I hope we can be friends. I didn't have many before I came here."


"That's great!" Jez smiled - any more of that, and she'd have to permanently charm one on her face. "I adore reading and learning new things, so probably the Sorting Hat wouldn't have put me anywhere else ..." She trailed off, remembering her little conversation with the Hat. It hadn't been an overly pleasant experience. "Do you have any brothers or sisters here? One of my older sister is - she's in Slytherin." Jez made a face. "All my siblings have been in Slytherin when they came here - except for Keegan, he was in Gryffindor."


"Of course it doesn't!" Jez was happy to have support in the argument she hadn't really meant to start. "That's the point! There's so much we can learn from Muggles - they are a whole lot more resourceful than us, it would seem. Although they are quite suspicious ..." Jez trailed off, remembering a long-lost Muggle neighbour who'd been scared stiff of black cats and walking under ladders.

"True" Chelsea said.

"I plan on taking Potions, DADA, Herbolgy, Charms, Transfiguration, and Flying" I still haven't decided if I'm going to take any electives though" she replied

Food! it had appeared at last, Damon could not help himself he quickly took 1 of everything in front of him that he could find and by all accounts it appeared that the food would fill him up in no time.. Looking around at the other students they all seemed to be conversing and not even noticing him, but then he noticed many of them were first years and it was normal for them to ask about all the school had to offer, in his mind he wished them well.

"I'll probably take flying also. It'll be just my luck though if I hurt myself." Temperance says "What are the electives we can take? Depending on what they are I might take some."

"Ow, yeah .. I thought so .." she answered .. "Do you know when the classes would start? "

Beezus was making her way back to the table after talking to that pureblood boy when she saw a very familiar face lost in thought, "Harvey ?!" she called the boy's attention ..

"I think the electives are Muggle Studies, History of Magic, Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, and Divination" she said. "Wow! I just noticed all of the plates and silverware are clean I must have forgotten all about it. I saw the house elves but must have forgot" she said looking at the plates and silverware.

She squeaked at the force he used to shake her hand, "Hey, I'm fragile," she informed him as she was sure she was going to have a headache from that. Hadn't he heard of shaken baby syndrome?

Once her teeth stopped shattering she was able to fix on what he said, and once again she was going to have to work through it. "Pleased to meet you Eino," she answered back. Not sure of last part of his statement.

Harlow smiled as she was able to discern that he liked Herbology. "I love Herbology almost as much as writing. How come you don't have your own garden? You don't have the space? Your mommy won't let you?" Harlow was excited and when that happened her age shined through.

"Yep, I'm a first year!" Nate said, "The slytherins look shady, as a group. I'm sure that a lot of them are great people though..." Nate was unsure of whether he should have said this. He attempted to spin things in a positive way: "The hufflepuffs look very inviting, though!"

Nate wiped away her tears, and put his face close to hers, looking into her blue eyes, and said, "Jade, I would like nothing more that to walk back to the dormitory with you." Nate didnt know what he was feeling. He had never felt anything like this before! Maybe it only happened between two magic folk?

Nate sympathized with Jezabel for not having many friends: he had only had Pam. "Of course we can be friends. I'm going to need as many as I can get-- and I don't want to bribe people just yet." Nate said that last part with a wink. Of course he was only joking and hoped Jez would catch that.

Erin was startled when someone called Harvey's name when they are in deep conversation about the tarnish plates. She looked and saw someone she met at the train but didn't bother to talk to her. She remembered, oh, the girl with a lot of friends she's talking to at King's Cross. She thought, she's a friendly one. But of course, she's calling on Harvey's name, she wouldn't answer and give Harvey the chance to introduce her to the girl.

"History of Magic sounds neat. So does Ancient Runes." Temperance says "I also saw the house elves but didn't notice until now that they had cleaned the silverware." she says as she looks at the silverware noticing that it is clean.

"I think I may take History of Magic it sounds like an easy class" she said. Chelsea was running out of things to talk about.

Beatrice slowly approached Harvey .. Oh no, he's actually talking to someone.. Should she back off ? She was about to go back to her original seat when she saw that Nate was again snuggling with his girlfrrrienddd .. She decided to just say hi to Harvey and the girl .. "Oh, haii !" she greeted the cute little one ..

Jez laughed. "That's good, you seem like a nice guy. So, what do you like - subjects and that? I think Charms and Transfiguration sounds good. My brother Keegan turned me into a teapot once, and I want to get him back and turn him into a plate! I've already practised a few simple spells, d'you want to see?" Jez got out her wand, and tapped the goblet in front of her, making very sure to say the words correctly this time. "Wingardium Leviosa!" To her relief, the goblet didn't explode, but gently rose above the table. Jez grinned, hoping Nate would be impressed, at least a little.

"Yeah it does sound easy. And, to me, the history of magic sounds interesting" Temperance says as she works on her drawing on the great hall ceiling. "When are classes going to start?" she asks.

Eino shook his head. "Neither in my home in Finland nor in my house in England." In fact, his house in England was very small since it had always had been a "temporary" location, plus it was in the city so it was impossible. His home in Finland was bigger, but his parents always got everything they wanted from his grandparents' garden so they had no need to plant one of their own. Eino spent most time at his grandparents anyway, so it was really unnecessary. Although, Eino was becoming less interested in Herbology as he grew up, there were other things that occupied his mind. Harlow seemed very excited, which reminded Eino of how he was during his first year. Not that he wasn't excited anymore, but he did a better job at containing his excitement. "Are you a first year?" He ask as he watched the food appear on his table and proceeded to pour a glass of pumpkin juice.

Jayden felt on top of the world. Nate and her had cleared things up! "Good... that's great! I'm looking forward to it." Jayden said, giggling happily.

Out of the corner of her eye, Gaby noticed something, moving about, in a rather vivid shade of blue. Turning to get a better look, she realised that it was actually someone's hair! That was awesome. She wanted it. She wanted to pet it. She wanted it as a pet... well, no she didn't. She was just hyper and strange. Either way, she gave the girl whom the hair belonged to a huge smile and a friendly wave. 'Hey,' she said, grinning. 'I love your hair!'

Then she realised that she might sounds really weird. Whoopsies - but there was nothing she could do about it now. 'I'm Gaby, by the way. Gabrielle Parker, pleased to meet you,' she told the girl, wondering whether to shake her hand, or if that was to formal. Probably. 'Are you a First Year too?

Gaby grinned. That was one more potential friend - score! She was becoming more popular by the minute. She didn't know why, but being in the Wizarding World was bringing her out of her shell a lot. Not that she was really that far in to begin with, but still. 'We're in the same year!' she said happily. 'Did you know our Common Room is in a tower? I bet the views are great! My cousin said you can sometimes see the Giant Squid in the Lake from one of the windows,' she said, chattering on happily. Really, with the amount of sugar she'd had, she could go for ages. Probably without a reply, too.

Hmm. She seemed to have started a conversation about the merits of different houses now. That was not good - she'd heard the whole Blood thing earlier, and it hadn't been pretty. She'd rather not repeat it. 'Well, they're not all bad. Almost all of my family have been in Slytherin,' she divulged, still in the same friendly tone. 'Yes, the Hufflepuffs do look inviting. I think one of the friends I made in Diagon Alley is in Hufflepuff, actually...'


'Oh my gosh, where did you learn to do that?!' Gaby exclaimed, watching a girl sitting across the table making her gobelt levitate. 'That's so cool!' she added, enthusiastic. 'I mean, I can do a few little spells, but nothing impressive,' she told her, smiling shyly. 'You must be a good witch,' she continued, blushing slightly. All this magic going on around her was making her feel rather inadequate, which was not something she was used to. It wasn't a nice feeling - and it was also bringing her sugar high down, which was definitely not good.

'I'm Gaby, by the way. I'm a First Year... are you?' the brunette asked, tossing her hair over her shoulder and out of her eyes. On second thought... she pulled a scrunchie out of her pocket and tied it up in a high ponytail on the top of her head. There. Much better. Now, down to business: 'Can you teach me how to do that? Please?'

Before Harvey could even give her a proper introduction to the girl next to them, she already greeted Erin. With a momentary response, she said, "Hi too. Erin.." she stretched her hand, "Erin Heyman." She looked at the direction she's looking at and saw a rather familiar face, "Do you have a problem with Jayden?" she asked or so she saw differently. Maybe it wasn't Jayden. Well, she's also a little annoyed to her.

"It should be easy since I already read Hogwarts; a History. So I'll probably take it" she said. "Classes normally start the day after the Opening Feast so tomarrow. I can't wait I'm very excited. It just feels great to be here" she said.

Jayden was off in her own little world... thinking about her day, both the good and bad events.. suddenly she was drawn back to reality by the sound of a rather hyper female voice commenting her hair. "Thank you!!" She greeted the girl, who had just introduced herself as Gaby. "Nice to meet you Gaby, my name's Jayden. Yep! I'm a firstie!" She answered the girl, flashing her a friendly grin, thankful to know that some people still wanted to get to know her after the incident earlier she had with Beatrice.

She reached the girls' outstretched hand, "Nice to meet you Erin, I love your name .. " she remarked, "My name is Beatrice by the way."

Seeing the girl look at the direction of Nate and the others, "Jayden eh ? The blue-haired girl ?" she sat beside Erin, "I don't have a problem with her. I just can't seem to like her. " she told Erin rather truthfully .. It was true, as much as she wanted the girl to be hr friend, there's just something holding her back ..

Her eyes got round, "I've never been to Finland. But we live in England, but we had to move from our London house. Too many broom crashes and explosions to explain." she explained. Her grandmother had wanted them to move back to Ghana, but her father didn't like living there. Neither did Harlow is you asked her. Which no one ever did much to her dismay. "We live on the other side of this big estate that my aunt owns. So I can have a big garden. And the gnomes help too. They keep the nasty bugs away." They weren't as bad as people made them out to be. She nodded in answer to his question, "Yep. This is the longest I've been away from home," that sobered her up and she grew quiet. She had almost forgot about missing home.
