Jordan smiled, "Okay then, here is The Life Story of The Amazing Mr Macey..." he began. "I was born to a witch mother and a muggle father. My mother left when I was very young, so I was raised as an outsider to my muggle father and brothers." he said. "They... Took it upon themselves to beat the freak out of me. I endured 11 years of daily beatings before I get my Hogwarts letter, then I used my metamorph abilities and changed myself into the Jordan Macey you know today." he shrugged. "I was raised in a muggle household thats how I know about the telephone" he corrected her.
"Anywa, I hitchhiked myself to Diagon Alley, it turned out my mum had hidden away a small fortune for me. And I stayed in the Leaky Cauldron until the Hogwarts Express left, then a school year later here I am!" he grinned. "I obviously didn't think it through very well because now I'm effctively homeless, but I'll figure something out..." he said confidently, even though he was terrified of what he was going to do.
Maxwell walked in the compartment just as Jordan had finished speaking and sat down near him and said "Well, You're still welcome to stay with me, Mate!"
Vzod pulled her dark blue wheeled trunk (with green piped trim) along behind her as she made her way to the middle of the train. Her auburn hair spilled down the back of her robes in ringlets her Mother styled just that morning. She had never been away from home before, and she was looking forward to it. Her tightly drawn face slowly relaxed into a smile at the thought of her freedom.
She found an empty compartment and slipped in. Her trunk was too heavy for her to lift, so she just rested it under the window.

Groober Slovenini trudged down the hall looking for an emptyish compartment. He had fought with his mother that morning about his robes being so unkempt, So what if they were a little smelly? He pushed back his mousy brown hair as he approached an open compartment. A girl was standing by her trunk which was still unstowed. He knocks, "May I sit here?" He might be a little rough looking but he was raised to be a gentleman.

Vzdor was just about to take a seat beside her trunk. Then a boy appeared, she forgot to close the door. She stood and stared for a few seconds at him.
Her manners struggled with her shyness. But, this was a new chapter in her life, and she planned to do things different from now on.
"Oh, of course. My name is Vzdor Had. What is your name?" She asked as she finally rested her derriere onto the seat. She gently crossed her legs and folded her hands in her lap. He seemed a bit different from the boys in her own family, but he was friendly enough.

Reason: I spelled my own name wrong (facepalm)
Groober, walked in and his own trunk followed. Despite his appearance his trunk was made of fine leather and brass. He approached the exquisite girl and put out his right hand, "The name is Groober Slovinini. Very nice to meet you Miss." He motioned towards her trunk, "Did you need help stowing your trunk?"

Vzdor giggled into her small hand and nodded. "Why yes, I do. It's quite heavy." She moved out of the way and allowed him access.
As he did that she started some more small talk. "If you don't mind me asking, what part of this world are you from?" His smell was a bit strong as he lifted his arms. She backed away a few small steps to avoid the stench.

He moved to her trunk first and nimble placed it on the shelf and then moved to his own trunk. He sat down a short distance away so as not to crowd her, "Hooliganshire in Scotland." He looked around trying to find his words. His green eyes darted to the window and back to Vzdor. "What about you? Where do you hail from?" He was nervous in the company of such a refined lady.

Vzdor cocked her eyebrow at the name of his hometown. She had never heard of such a place. Of course, she had moved several times in her short life and couldn't remember all the towns she herself lived in. "Well, my family has a company in Eastern Europe. That's where I am from. But, when I left for school we were moving to a place in Northern Ireland. My family is into trading."
She giggled and asked, "Why don't you call me V. Do you have a nickname?"
She had a feeling that he was just as shy as she was. She felt he could be a good friend, not a boyfriend, she was just 11 years old after all.

Groober was grasping at straws, A nickname? What in the world could he say? His Grandma called him peanut but he couldn't tell her that. Quick think of something cool sounding......stumbling over his words he sputtered, "My nickname is Scotch." Groober nodded.

V nodded approvingly. "Scotch... that's unique."
V was an only child, she didn't have many friends. This was a hard time for her, trying to actually keep up a conversation. She thought to herself, What do I talk about? I wonder what games he knows?
"Scotch, what sort of games do you and your friends back home play? Maybe if we are sorted into the same house, you could teach me some." She urged with a pat on his knee.

He smiled, "I hope I get into Slytherin, games we palyed back home.." Groober thought about playing with his Grandma's cats. "I used to play tag, hide and seek, stuff like that. Have you ever flew on a broom?" He didn't know what else to say about his home life.

V sighed, "That sounds like fun. I hope to get into Slytherin as well. My Father, his Father, and so on, were all Slytherins. I can play the piano quite well. If they have one at Hogwarts, I can play something for you. Do you know any dances?" She was quite a wonderful dancer herself.
"Dancing is by far my most favorite thing, although I do enjoy singing." She smiled uneasily and wondered if the conversation was boring.

Sitting acorss from the couple, he felt more awkard than ever. They were over there... being all couple-y, or whatever, and he was sitting there, looking around, unsure of what to say. What did people usually do to make conversations? How did people find it so easy to be outgoing!? It was maddening to him, that he couldn't even talk to people with much success.
After thinking quite hard about something to say for a while, while staring blankly at the two (he was spacing out, as usual, while he thought), his brain finally produced something that might've actually been worth actually speaking aloud without sounding even more like a nutter than he already was. "So, erm, Gideon. I mean, now that you and Selina are.... yeah, uh..... I mean.... Erm..... Are you going to be visiting.....? Over... the summer?"
Yeah, good enough.

Violet would softly stroke her head every now and then.
As Violet made her way throughout the train her violet eyes searched in every compartment she found looking for a familiar face. But alas, no luck so far. Violet was about to give up when her eyes settled on a compartment containing three very familiar faces. Violet gasped smiling and then opened the compartment door saying brightly,"Familiar faces! How exquisite!" Violet giggled and then closed the door behind her after her luggage came floating in and right onto the overheads above them.
Violet's heart then skipped a beat when she realized something....of course there was a seat for her sit down...but the only thing was...it was next to Chris. She didn't want to make it seem like she didn't want to sit next to him so she just smiled at him softly and took her place on the seat next to him, and gently place a still sleeping Sadie back onto her lap.
She took a moment to fix her hair and then her skirt and said lightly,"So I cannot believe that third year is over already Sely...We're going to be fourth years? And I'm turning 14 soon! It's all just so mind boggling!" Violet gasped and then said to the boys,"And you two are going to be fifth years already?!" Violet just shook her in amazement and then in the corner of her eyes she looked at the space between her and Chris for a quick moment. It made her sad, for she wanted nothing more than to fill that space and sit beside him. But quickly realizing what she was doing she quickly looked at Selina and Gideon giving them a sweet smile.

When the door burst open, he hardly noticed at first, like when Selina came in. But the second that voice rang out, Christopher snapped out of his thoughts, and became immediately alert. However, even though he was friendly with the girl at the door now, it didn't mean they didn't have issues to work out. Issues he didn't feel like facing for now. Returning the smile slightly, he stared at the ground and watched for a pair of blue shoes to go sit next to Gideon and Selina's.
But none ever did. Slowly looking back up, Christopher saw her reluctantly inching toward him. He wasn't the only one feeling uncomfortable. Casting his eyes back on the ground, he calculated the distance in his head while she spoke. He may not have been so great with girls, but he was pretty good at math too. Their hands were 31.48 centimeters apart. He suddenly felt quite chilled.
He silently nodded when she spoke of Gideon and himself becoming fifth years and looked expectantly at the pair across the way from them to make things less uncomfortable. Their compartment was probably the most awkward on the entire train.

After her awkward and completely random stand in the compartment Selina settled back down into her seat as Gideon put his stuff over head in the compartment. There was no lag in the conversation because as Gideon settled in he kept the conversation moving by answering Christopher's question about the summer time. She was actually curious about what he was doing over the summer. The only thing Selina knew with certainty this summer was that Kurumi was coming over at some point. She had never actually fleshed out if she was going to see Gideon or not, although knowing her she would most likely just pop in some days unexpectedly. Best to keep things fresh, besides she was very interested in meeting Kacie.
Once Gideon sat beside her she flashed him a smile and looked back at Christopher who was seemingly spacing out again. Her eyebrow rose in his direction and she wanted to wave a hand in his face to bring him back the world of the living but though that would be too rude. So she waited a moment for him to say something. When he finally did it was the most inarticulate mess of words she had ever heard. She assumed he was asking if Gideon was coming over at any point in the summer.
She turned her head to look at Gideon and said, "I actually don't know. Are you gonna come by at any point this summer to visit? You know you are always welcome, sir." she smirked that last bit at him. Those nicknames were starting to become second nature to the two of them. To others it might seem a bit odd... then again she didn't care.
Suddenly the door burst open to the compartment. It was as if a huge wash of energy surged into the compartment. Once her eyes readjusted to the new light and person in the room she saw Violet Le Veela standing in front of her grinning to no end and talking a million miles an hour. That was until she picked up on the other body in the compartment- Christopher. There was a whole mess of tension that was thrown into the compartment as Violet noticed that her space was beside Christopher in the compartment. Selina was about to move over to sit next to Christopher to help the awkwardness when Violet finally sat down.
Selina nodded to Violet and retorted, "Yeah, its crazy that were fourth years now. I remember first year like it was yesterday. It is a really... weird thing, getting older. And you two," she said turning her body to look between the two older boys, "you're fifth years. That is just too odd. I can't believe it."
Once her voice stopped making noise there was an awkward lag in the conversation. Obviously Christopher and Violet had very little to say to each other... and now the compartment was quiet.
Would he...be visiting?
Gideon wasn't honestly sure. He and Selina had mentioned it a few times in passing but they had never set plans in motion so he wasn't sure how to answer Christopher at first. But then Selina answered first looking to him for clarification and he turned her as he mulled over the decision.
"Well I was thinking on it m'lady, though I wasn't sure the invitation was officially open...until now," he answered allowing a small smile at her. He hadn't been about to visit if Selina and even Christopher didn't want him there, not that he really thought they would have a problem with him. The now-fifth year was however aware of the fact that he would be meeting the other family including his girlfriend's father which made the situation more ackward then simply vsiiting friends as it would have been had this happened last summer.
Hearing the compartment door open once more, Gideon briefly wondered who it could be but he didn't have to as the Hufflepuff spoke in greeting. If the compartment could have gotten any more ackward, it certainly just had. Not that he minded Violet's entrance into the group, but the former couple was still re-building ties. Gideon himself wondered that if he had known she was to join them that perhaps he should have taken the spot next to Christopher to play it safe with the two boys and the two girls paired off together by gender.
Too late for that now.
"Um..aye it does feel odd a bit. Gonna feel interesting I suppose next term even more," he remarked exchanging glances with his fellow yearmate. After all now they simply had 5th year to look forward to, and the girls had 4th year. Next train ride they would be heading towards those years head on with OWLS looming in the not to distant future for himself and Christopher.
With more and more crowdiness up in the racks and company in the compartment, Corvin seemed not to like his perch anymore. So the raven hopped down to be with the four students, returning to Gideon's shoulder and silently eying the cat on Violet's lap as the quiet lingered between the humans.
Maxwell walked in the compartment just as Jordan had finished speaking and sat down near him and said "Well, You're still welcome to stay with me, Mate!"
Nessie walked down the hall looking for a seat but seeing most of them were already full. She stopped when she saw the one Maxwell was in. She slid open the door and looked in shyly. "Hello Maxwell, do you mind if i sit with you? Everywhere else is full." She smiled apologetically with her body still hanging halfway into the compartment.
Maxwell walked in the compartment just as Jordan had finished speaking and sat down near him and said "Well, You're still welcome to stay with me, Mate!"
Ariana walked by the compartment in just enough time to hear Maxwell invite jordan over for the summer.. she stuck her head in the compartment & said " being stuck with you two ALL SUMMER.. that's like torture!" she laughed jokingly.

The clear, blue water. The hot sun... Gah. She couldn't wait. It was like nothing was bad about the end of this school year.
Except, well... one thing. Amelia was leaving. Her parents were making her move to South Africa and Ellie was sad. They had just met and instantly clicked, but now she was leaving. And she didn't want her to leave. ):
Moving down the train, Ellie finally found an empty compartment and lugged her stuff inside. Once she was done, she flopped onto a seat and kicked her feet up onto the bench in front of her. Now she just had to wait for Dallin to find her.
Amelia... wasn't doing so well to put it lightly. :| She was fluxuating between crying, and hyperventilating, and at least once she had attempted to find a way to stay back at Hogwarts.
She was sure people were staring at her and thinking she was crazy to be this against leaving, but they didn't know. They didn't know that she was leaving behind her friends. Her best friends. And Zayden. She'd be away from him for like a year, and it made her so sad. ()
Wiping her face on her sleeve, she made her way slowlyto the middle of the train. She was going to go to the back and find an empty compartment so that she could stay with Zay. That was her plan. :3
Until she spotted Ellie. Sighing, she thought that it was best to say a proper goodbye to her and Dallin - who she didn't see. "Hello," she said meeky to her friend upon opening the door.
He had been captivated by the image of Hogwarts growing away as the train moved. Sigh. He was going to miss it. Especially the library. How could he go back to muggle books when magic was real and he has experienced it? Kennedy shook his head and walked down the corridor. Inside his pocket he could feel Puff and Hilbert fighting for a comfortable spot.
His eyes quickly recognized a lonesome guy in one of the compartments and he opened the door to it. He knew he didn't have to ask permission to sit down, this was his best friend he was joining. "Hey, Brother-from-another-mother," he said, grinning.
Yeah, John was his brother... from another mother.
HEHEEEHEE!
John heard his brother's voice and quickly turned to look at him. He never had any male siblings therefore he decided to adopt Kennedy as his little brother.
"hey bro!" John replied as he took out his headphones.
John cleared some of his stuff from the seat in-front of him so Kennedy can sit. He was a messy dude sometimes.
Okay, so maybe Paulie wasn't expecting a nice 'No problemo, buddy!,' but he DEFINITELY wasn't expecting an outlash like that! What with his weird accent and stuff. Pffffft. Who did he think he was? "Oi, it was an accident!" Paulie protested indignantly. "Someone obviously has the pain threshold of a four-year-old," he murmured.
'I'm not your mate.' How nice of him to point that one out. "Oh, yeah? Well... good! Who'd wanna be mates with a guy like you?!" NO ONE. That's who.
Hmmph. Well, now Paulie was quite please that he had kicked him. CLEARLY, the guy needed it.
Riiight, it was always an accident! So who cared if his leg was broken or not, it was only a bloody accident! Yes, maybe his leg wasn't broken and it didn't even hurt anymore, but it still could have been hurt. Rolling his eyes at the boy, he considered answering him for a moment but then swallowed it. He was not worth his time, nor his breath. The idiot was a dork, and dorks were idiots--so he was a double idiot. He shouldn't even be looking at him, obviously the boy enjoyed his look.
Folding his arms, he laughed hard at the remark of the boy. "Funny, you are," he said honestly. "Apparently, not people like you." Snort. As if anyone would be his mate--but then again, people preferred idiots like him. They came in handy sometimes, so Joćo had observed.

Thank Merlin Paulie had met this guy at the END of the term. Otherwise he would have been sending him not-so-subtle narrow-eyed glares all the time, and who knew, maybe they would've gotten into a FIGHT. Maybe. Pssht, so he wasn't even going to grace him with a response? That irked Paulie even more than if he would have said another stupid, stupid comment.
He wasn't sure about what this guy found so funny about what he said, but whatever. He was probably laughing AT him, no doubt. "Definitely not anyone like me, and certainly not anyone named Paulie Foster," he affirmed. And that accent. What was that, anyhow? It somehow managed to make him, and his stupid comments, even more deplorable. "So, where are you from anyway, huh?"

Joćo couldn't decide if only the majority of Gryffindor was both an idiot and a jerk, or if everyone was one. He guessed there should still be a few nice one among them. It was just his luck that he had encountered the nutcases. It had to be. Or else, Hogwarts did have very low standards of students, considering 2 out of 4 houses would be completely useless.
So his name was Paulie Foster, eh? Such a silly boy to have told his name in that manner. "Oh I'm devastated not to be a friend of mighty Paulie," he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. And here he thought he was the arrogant one. Apparently not.
Aha, and then curiosity got better of arrogance and, thankfully, idiocy.
After a moment of enjoying his pleasure and glory over the boy, he said, with a smirk, "Brazil. Why?"
Jez was silent throughout Jordan's explanation. Poor guy, was all she could think. "Do you think your mum will claim you?" she asked quietly. No offence to Jordan, but she doubted it. It sounded like he'd been abandoned.
"If you need a place to stay," she began, then stopped. Yeah, her house wasn't an option right now, since it had been blown up. Ack, okay ... "My brother and sister are homeless too," she said carefully. "If you wanted, I could ask Keegan to find you someplace. I know abandoned office blocks aren't exactly the Leaky Cauldron, but it's better than the streets." That's where Jez would be staying this summer, if it wasn't for Nate and Pam ... Idea! "Have you told Faina this?" she asked. "Maybe you can stay with her! If you explain the situation, I bet her parents will let you." Hopefully.
Jordan shrugged, "That might be a bit hard for her to do... See I didn't tell the whole story." He pulled a very official looking letter from his bag. "At the start of the year I recieved this..." he hesistated. "She was found in Scotland... Dead. They found that the killing curse had been the last spell performed by her wand. They believe she'd commited suicide." he smiled sadly. "I was sad, but I didn't know her. She abandoned me." he spoke slowly.
Jordan shook his head, "No I'll be fine, your brother doesn't have to find me a place anywhere. Thanks anyway." he smiled at her. "I haven't told Faina really, no. I could ask her..." he smiled at Jez. And then Maxwell walked in...

Kennedy grinned even wider. After setting his stuff up on the railing he sat in front of John and allowed his Pygmy Puff and metal pup to wander around. "D'you see the baby elf at the feast?" he asked. He also felt a bit guilty for leaving to go chase after it.
He looked out the window and it reminded him of his first ride on the Hogwarts Express. Now he had a complete view of things of which concluded with him being taken with the Wizard world.

He thought he was cocky? Okay, well maybe that may have sounded like arrogance by the way he worded it, but that was TOTALLY not what Paulie meant. "Oh, wait, wait, wait. I said my full name 'cause I like my name. A lot. Not 'cause I'm some arrogant prick." And he wanted to clarify this, whether the accent guy wanted to believe it or not.
Aah, right. So, he was from Brazil. "Just wonderin'." Paulie shrugged.
O_O
Wait. WHATWHATWHAT?
Brazil. BRAZIL as in BRAZIL NUT?!
