He laughed along with her. "Isn't great scaring our parents," he said, mischievously. It wasn't that he completely enjoyed scaring his mom, it was just nice to see that she cared for him a lot. "Yeah, Quidditch is pretty dangerous," he said, after thinking about it, but it still didn't change his mind. One day...one day he will tryout and get in the team. "But, you're older now and Professor Vindictus is a great teacher for flying." Hint. Hint. Or, maybe he could teach her how to fly, but only if she wanted to. Hmm... |

Aurora nodded, grinning "I don't usually get the chance - they're away a lot. But it's fun, yeah." she replied. Though it rarely worked on her parents, they were just too... she wasn't sure, but they never seemed fussed about anything. Her eyes widened, was he suggesting that she... "No. Way." she shook her head violently. "Never ever ever." She didn't mind when other people risked their lives up there but there was no way on Earth she was getting on a broom unless entirely necessary. |

Kennedy understood. Her parents were probably important people and had things to do too. Hehe... She had noticed what he was suggesting. "B-But, what if there was an emergency," he said, playfully. The joy of flying was something he couldn't explain, it was something a person had to experience on their own in order to understand. |

Aurora scowled at him, "Only if I absolutely had to." she said. "But I don't like it. I can walk places, and as soon as I'm old enough I'm going to learn how to apparate." she added. She suddenly realised it was a little darker than it had been when they'd run up from the grounds. And the light was flickering. She peeked around the statue... it was dark outside the window and the torches had been lit. "It's dark outside." she said, turning back to Kennedy. "We should probably go back to the common room..." Shame really... there were lots of people in the common room... |
Quote:
"Hmm, okay," Kennedy said, letting her have it her way...for now. He looked over the statue and nodded. "Yeah," he said, trying to stifle a yawn. He was tired, and didn't take nap today, but it didn't matter. What happened toddy was totally better than napping. "Shall we go then?" he said, allowing Aurora to go through first. |
Want to carry this on in the common room? Quote:
Aurora smiled, "Thank you." Hopefully he'd just leave the flying alone now - she really didn't like it and didn't intend to ever get on a broom again. "Okay, but I don't want to. There's too many people there." she said, then she stood up on her tiptoes and kissed him - because, you know, there's no privacy in the common room and she wanted to do that again. "Come on." She took hold of his hand and walked out into the corridor. Ahhhh... today had been a wonderful day. |
Sure :) Quote:
"I know, but it's late," he said, in a whiny tone. He didn't want to go down there either, but it was time. He smiled against her lips. He was never going to get tired of that. Kennedy nodded and followed her to the Slytherin Common room. |
Adam was making his way about the school. He wasn't deciding on arriving at a desired location, but rather randomly just walked on by,letting his feet direct him without Adam really paying attention to his surroundings. He stopped when he saw the humpbacked witch an stared at it's figuring, such an aging witch, with a slumped back,as the name said so,an drooping hands. What a weird, slightly odd an awe gazing statue,Adam couldn't just get his eyes off of it no matter how much he forced himself to. |
Quote:
It was weird and she couldn't stop staring at it, she didn't even notice that someone else was staring at it too. The statue was the humpbacked witch. It was just so odd and unusual. Ness started walking again but she didn't stop looking at the statue and before she knew what was happening she bumped into something or more like someone and she fell to the floor. |
Quote:
"Nessie..." He said bending down to lift her up from the ground.Whether it was intentional or not, especially not with Nessie,Adam seemed to be hurting people emotionally an physically a lot this year. "I'm sorry..I made you fall down..." Adam apologized as he sternly grabbed her shoulders making sure he had him as a balance support. |
Quote:
With Adam's help she got up and stood on her two feet. "Thank you" she said being polite. She gave him another small grin and then looked back at the statue. It was as though the statue hypnotized you to do nothing else but stare. "Wierd statue huh?" She continued looking at it ignoring her pygmy puff that seemed to be nibbling her shoe trying to get some attention. She hadn't been with her Pygmy puff for quite some time now seeing as she had gave the puff ball to Trey for looking after..but she wanted to see her Puffles and so she took him back just for the day. |

He stared at the statue at little bit longer until he heard Nessie say 'thanks' at which he nodded silently.Once again, something that came naturally to anyone. His mind had become transfixed on the statue,it wasn't one of the greatest statues he had ever discovered at the school,an he wish he hadn't but,it wasn't as if it were going to attack him. "Yeah..I mean honestly, this could give 1st years nightmares if they pass by it too many times..." Who had the great idea of planting that 'thing' in the castle. Then,he spotted that Nessie had a very hungry Pymgy Puff knawing at her shoe. "HAve you fed your puff?It seems pretty starved..." |
Sowie I got carried away xD Quote:
Nightmares? She supposed that could happen..seeing as first years were so small and cute. It was scary to think that she had been one herself not even a year ago, yet she felt she had grown the most over the past year. She felt older, more mature and maybe even a little stronger. "It could...they should have rather put a statue of a fairy or something." She pictured a pretty statue of a fairy and imagined the first years staring at it in awe. Wouldn't they much rather stare at some beautiful fairy rather than some ugly, scary looking witch. She knew she'd prefer the fairy. Puff? Oh right Puffles. She took her eyes of the statue to look at the puff ball for a second. He couldn't be chewing her shoes because he was hungry..or could he? He usually chewed her shoes when he wanted to be picked up or when he wanted something. When he was hungry he used to jump up and down like some crazy bouncing ball. "I think he's been fed...I'm not sure, I haven't been looking after him for a while... He's been with Trey." Adam knew who Treyen was right? Treyen was popular and surely Adam would know who he was."But I think he just wants to be picked up, he usually nibbles my shoes when he wants me to pick him up." She looked at Adam as she spoke and then looked back at Puffles. She didn't have much of a choice but to pick him up unless she wanted her shoes to be eaten. As she picked him up she placed him on her shoulder only to find that he started nibbling on her hair. So instead she lay him in her arms not that, that helped much as he started chewing on her clothes. She raised an eyebrow. Why was Puffles doing this? Whatever it was she decided to ignore him. |
Quote:
When he heard that Treyen had been taking care of her puff Adam thought she must've been mad. But,then again,he had never really gotten to fully known Treyen,so he could've turned out to be a great care taker. But if the puff was so desperate for food that it had been looking at her shoe as food, well Adam put 2 an 2 together.Unless,he was wrong. Her puff was really going insane on what to eat,an Adam raised his eyebrows when it then resorted to her shirt. "He's a muncher..Well trained I can tell,by what he eats. Can you train a puff? I had one for about a few days before I had to give her away to..." His sentence broke off as he remembered why he had gotten one. |
Quote:
"Yeah he is...he loves munching anything" She nodded, Puffles was a munched he nibbled and munched almost anything he could, it was rather annoying at times. 'Train a puff'...Ness couldnt help but laugh at that. If was hard enough to keep a pygmy puff from running away all the time how were you supposed to train one exactly? "I don't think so they're pretty restless pets and they tend to enjoy running away." She sighed as she thought of all the times she had humilated herself chasing after her stupid little puff. She looked up at Adam as he stopped midway in his sentence. She sort of guessed the what he was going to say but she was too interested if she was right or not."To?.." she said hoping he'd answer, but to be honest she wouldn't get offended if he didn't. |
Quote:
"Sounds like a extra fury hamster on some type of energy drink-running away as fast as it can." He laughed as he began to imagine a Puff being contained in a small metal cage an having to run on a wheel for hours on end an never been let out of it's cell.By the time they were let out,he could see them hitting walls, trying to find their freedom.Adam knew he shouldn't have let the sentence slip out,it just came out of his mouth before he realized he had mentioned it.At this point he wished he had a time turner to go back an somehow create a distraction so he wouldn't have said it. Grimacing a little he spoke quietly.."I-I think we both know who I'm talking about..." Yep.He didn't need say more.It was pretty well easy to guess who the person was.Why create more awkwardness by saying the name. |
Quote:
A Hamster? She could see why he'd think that and she giggled with Adam as she thought of it. Adam for some reasonb knew exactly how to make her laugh, which was exactly what she needed at the moment. She put a big grin on her face untill she saw Adam grimace as he spoke again. She frowned a little. Why was it so hard for him to talk about Kurumi? She knew they had been together and everything, but shouldn't he be happy for her that she was happy now..even if it wasn't with him. She hesitated not sure if she felt like causing awkwardness or not..but she felt if it was bothering him he needed to talk about it so it was worth a shot. "Trust me I know it's hard to let go.." She honestly did, she thought of her best friend and thought of how hard it was letting go of her, but it wasn't like she had a choice. "but..maybe..you should try be happy for her." She looked at her puff ball and gave him a little stroke only to find that he wanted to nibble her fingers too. She was used to his nibbling so it wasn't that painful, she pulled her hand away and pretended her pygmy puff had done nothing. |
Quote:
He kinda wished Nessie would've stayed with her hesitation because he would have to talk about it,once again. But it was weird. He wanted to talk about these things, express it to anyone, really, but other times Adam just wanted to keep it locked inside him. No one ever knowing what he thinks,in a way,his own little, though dangerous, secrets on subjects. "She keeps telling me that. "If I were her true friend then I should be happy for her" I'm trying-barely- but it's-as you know-hard to be happy for someone when all you are thinking is quite the opposite.." It was only human to think that way.But somehow he would have to push beyond that thought if he wanted things to be mended a bit better. |
