Alyssa really needed a good long soak after working in Greenhouse but she knew that unless she was a Prefect she wouldn’t have the luxury of a nice long soak in their beautiful tub. She heard from some other students that it was a nice big tub too. But Alyssa had to settle for the next best thing, the Girl’s Bathroom.

After washing up, Alyssa decided to visit the toilet. She pulled out a magazine to read while doing her ‘business’. As she pulled out the magazine from her bag, it snagged something and accidentally pulled it out at the same time. It was the woolen sock. Alyssa leaned forward and grabbed it but in the process something came flying out from it. Everything then moved in slow motion, well at least to Alyssa it looked like it. The metallic egg flew out of the sock, over her head and landed in the toilet bowl behind her. 'Oh gross!!,'Alyssa thought to herself. 'Thank goodness I was doing Number One.' Alyssa quickly redressed and turned to look inside the toilet bowl.

Taking out her wand, Alyssa pointed it at the egg and said,”Accio Egg”. The egg quickly flew out of the toilet bowl and landed in the palm of her hand. “Yech!", Alyssa said to herself looking at the egg. “I definitely need to wash you up.” In a twirling motion, she pointed her wand, and tapping it on the egg, said “Ar-gent-um Humid-us”. Water started seeping from the egg. Using the water dripping from the egg, Alyssa quickly washed the egg all over making sure that it was thoroughly cleaned. Then she dried it up by doing the same wand motions, only this time she said, “Ar-gent-um Sik-us”. Immediately the egg’s metallic shell started to dry up and soon the water had totally evaporated from it. “Now to make sure that its fall into the toilet bowl water mix didn’t affect the shell in any way,” Alyssa said to herself. She used the Excolo charm to polish it up. Waving her wand all over the egg, while tracing every inch of it, she said “Ex-CO-Lo”. Like before, a bright yellow light engulfed the egg and when it disappeared, a shiny egg lay in her hands.

“Sorry about that,”Alyssa whispered to the egg. “I’ll make sure that you don’t get to see the inside of another toilet bowl again.” Alyssa quickly placed the egg back into the woolen sock, and tucked it safely in her bag. Then she went and washed her hands thoroughly before leaving the girl’s bathroom.

Angelina walked into the bath to look her self over, after getting pumpkin juice throwen on the top of her shirt and face, from another first year running around. She looked at herself to find her face wet.

She took a napkin and wipped her face off dry. She felt her lips to feel dry, so she dug her lip gloss out of her school bag and played it on her lips. It gave her lips more shine and to make it so her face didn't look so pale.

After she looked down at her shirt and cleaned it off somewhat. It was almost the end of the day for classes and then she would go up and change for dinner. Smiling at herself in the mirror she then walk away from the mirror and sink and walked out of the bathroom, and ready to started another class.

Selina walked out of the bathroom stall and headed toward the sink. Her oxfords squeaked as she approached the sink. Once she was there she turned on the faucet and started to wash her hands. She looked in the mirror and chuckled at her appearance today. A sweater, oxfords, a pair of jeans? Her brother was wearing off on her.

Christopher. His name made her sad. He had been so lost lately as had Violet. The two needed to make up already. Their fight was aging Selina years.

A small girl with brown hair was seen running swiftly down the hall seeming a bit frantic, like she was running from something...or someone. It seemed that the girl wasn't originally going to the bathroom, sort of like it was a last minute decision or act of desperation. Who was this panicked girl? And what/who was she running from?

The girl was none other than Violet Le Veela who just happened to avoid something. What/who was it she was running from? Well, Violet was just on her way back to the Hufflepuff Common Room after sending out a letter to Elektra when she saw him. She had seen him at the other end of the hall she was walking down, but it seemed that he didn't see her, but she knew that he would if they crossed paths. What would he say? What would he do? Would he just ignore her or would there be another falling out between the two of them. Violet knew that she wasn't ready to face....Christopher. Although had been about 5 months now, Violet was still absolutely sure that she wasn't ready to face him yet, it was far to soon. She couldn't handle any more tears.

But before she knew it Violet could feel tears starting to form. But oh dear, what if he saw her crying-NO she couldn't let him see her like this. So in an act of desperation to avoid crossing paths Violet turned on her heels and made a bee-line for the Girls' Lavatory. There she would be safe, there she could let out the tears for flashbacks were always filling her head whenever she saw or thought about Christopher.

So Violet ran down the hallway towards the bathroom her boots making that normal clicking sound as she went. Her hands both placed on the door and she came bursting into the Girls' Lavatory. Violet leaned against the door and closed her eyes breathing a sigh of relief and she tried to breathe slowly so she could prevent her tears from running. She slowly muttered softly,"..Safe.." then she slowly opened her violet eyes and they set on a girl that she really didn't expect to see at that exact moment. Violet gasped and her eyes widened before whispering making it difficult for Selina to hear her, "...Oh no...Not now..." but then she shook her head trying to keep relaxed,"I mean...HI Sely! How are you?" Violet smiled brightly and then began fiddling with a lock of her chocolate brown hair.

Selina was looking in the mirror at her nose which seemed to have a small black dot on it. She did not know what it was so she was leaning into the mirror closely to get a better look at it. Upon further investigation she realized it was a blackhead. She hated this part of Quidditch season. She was always so active at this time of year that amount of blemishes increased slightly, but enough for Selina to notice. One blackhead on her face. She turned to the side to check the crease of her nose. While she was turned she saw Vilolet Le Veela. Standing there looking like feeling Selina took two slow steps forward.

She smiled at Violet and said, "I'm good. You seem a little on edge. Everything okay?"

Violet already knew where this conversation was going to and she could tell that it was going to end up involving talking about her and Chris. And Violet knew that Selina was going to question why Violet didn't go to her when they had first broken up or say anything about it. She didn't want to talk about it because she felt awful from not talking to her friend about it, although she already knew Selina knew what happened, but she knew Selina would be waiting for her to tell what had happened. Violet smiled back at Selina and said brightly,"Oh I'm so glad to hear that! What? Me? On edge? No, I'm fine Sely, I'm just fine.." She giggled a little bit.

Selina feigned a bright, happy smile on her face as she looked at Violet. Yet, behind the bright smile and gleaming eyes Selina was furious. They both knew exactly what she was referring to and Violet was avoiding her and that topic. What had Selina done that she was not worthy of Violet confiding in? There was no way that Selina would have picked sides and Violet knew that; however, the little brunette did not go to her best friend. That hurt more than anything else.

Through a gritted smile she said, "Are you sure you're fine? Because I think you might not be..."

Violet could feel a very loud of beating in her chest beginning to increase, what was it? What was i-oh wait that was her heart rate beginning to quicken. What was not helping her relax was Selina's smile, because...it wasn't exactly a real smile showing happiness or comfort. It was more of a smile you see on someone from Azkaban. And it made Violet very very uncomfortable. She started twirling her hair a little more frantically and then she replied a little shaken,"Mm-mmhmm...I'm just fi-" suddenly Violet twirled her body around grabbing onto the door handle. She was going to make a break for it, on of her feet was about to make it out the door when-

Selina was prepared for Violet to make a break for it as the brunette started to talk. Violet had been dodging this conversation for months so why would she even stay now? This was expected. That was why when Violet made a break for it Selina was prepared.

As if by magic Selina jumped mid air across the room and for a moment seemed to fly. It was like she was suspended mid-air and falling fast. She landed on her ankle and did a little bounce, "I'm okay!" Then she saw that she was right in front of Violet and jumped on Violet and pinned her to the ground, "TELL ME!!!!!!! I WANT TO HEAR YOU SAY IT!"

As Violet was about to make it out of the bathroom she couldn't but wonder, was Selina even going to follow her? Because of this curiosity she couldn't help but turn her head back, but when she did that all she saw was a flying creature-like bird, almost harpie-like, with fiery red hair and piercing blue eyes coming towards her. It was almost as if it were in slow motion.

Violet gasped as she prepared for the impact and shut her eyes tightly waiting to fall to the ground. But alas, it didn't come and Violet waited a moment for she opened one eye to squint at Selina. She saw Selina lifting weight off of one her feet, guessing she landed wrong from her flying. Violet then opened both eyes and placed her hands on her heart saying sympathetically,"OH Merlin Sely are you alr-AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" then Selina had jumped on Violet and caused her to fall backwards. Before she knew it Violet was pinned on the ground and looking into the eyes of a crazy woman. Her eyes widened as Selina demanded Violet tell her. Violet then replied quickly,"ALRIGHT, I BORROWED YOUR EARRINGS LAST WEEK WITHOUT ASKING YOU DON'T EAT ME!!"

She pressed her shoulders into the ground and stared her in the eye slamming her back down into the ground. A snarl escaped her lips and she snapped back, "You know what I mean." Her blue eyes were like unsettled waves. It had been over five months and Violet had still not told her. She was going to be nice, but she was done with that. Violet Le Veela would tell her if it was the last thing she did.

Violet then squeaked a little bit in pain, Sely was hurting her shoulders. She was actually very afraid right now of Selina, she didn't like this side of her at all when this crazy woman came out. It really made Violet afraid for her life at times. Then after what she said Violet knew exactly what Selina meant and Violet's expression changed completely. But she tried to covered it with a small giggle before she turned her head to the side saying softly,"I don't know what you mean Sely.."

"You know what I mean!" She said really hurt. Selina suddenly realized how ridiculous she looked and crawled off of Violet. She pulled herself up and left Violet on the ground. Her hands found their way to the sink and she hung her head low, "Do you know how hurt I am that you didn't tell me? That I had to find out from him? I knew you first Violet. You will always be special in that respect. Why didn't you tell me?"

The girls' bathroom was empty when MJ got there. She pulled out her egg, which chirped happily at being given some attention. The eleven year old began rinsing the egg under the tap. As soon as the water touched it, it began to howl like a wolf at the full moon. MJ quickly rubbed soap on it and rinsed it off. She didn't want that kind of noise going on for more than a few seconds! "Argentum Siccus!" She said, as she fled the bathroom and hurried up to bed, hoping none of the teachers had heard the egg's terrible yowling.

She. Needed. To. GOOOO!

Kita squealed as she ran down the corridor and entered the girl's bathroom. She didn't care if people were waiting to use the cubicles, she was DESPERATE! THEY can do the waiting now.

... Okay, that wasn't very Hufflepuff of her.

After doing her business, Kita came out of the cubicle and went to wash her hands. Oh? Warm water? This was PERFECT after the cold outside. Now she could stand here and wash her hands forever. Teehee!

Violet watched as she got off of her and walked over to the sink. She then slowly sat up and looked down as Selina told her how she felt. Violet knew this was going to happen and knew Selina would be upset with her. She then slowly stood and said softly,"Selina...You know that you were the first person that I wanted to go to...Your name was the first that popped into my head when I broke down...But you don't understand..." Violet slowly wrapped her arms around herself before going on,"I didn't tell you because...Because I knew that Chris was going to tell you what happened and I knew that if I told you what happened you would feel obligated to choose sides and in no way did I want to do to that to you...Because it wasn't fair.." Violet then added,"Not only that, you had a lot going on with Gideon and things were seeming to be really working out for you two, and I didn't want to falter that by adding my dilemma to your stress.." Violet once again began feeling tears start to form as she finished,"I didn't want you to feel obligated to choose between us...I'm sorry Sely...I am so so sorry..."

As Violet spoke Selina kept her head hanging low over the sink. She could not look at the brunette while she was talking about this whole situation. There was a fear that if she looked she would crumble with her current resolve and forgive Violet for everything she had done. That was the last thing that Selina wanted to do at the present moment. She was mad and not just at Violet, but Chris too. Without even knowing it they had made her decide. By avoiding things and not talking to her they made her decide. And her decision was to not to really talk to either of them until they worked it out to be at least friends.

"I don't doubt your sorry Violet...but it hurts. I had to find out from Christopher... do you know what that is like? Look I'm not stupid. I know you and Elektra were closer than me and you, but I just thought, ugh, I don't know now that she wasn't here you could come to me. I can't help that I'm not Elektra..."

Kiyomi wipe her hand with tissue, then try to open the door. Unfortunately, it stuck.
"Hello? Anyone there? Can you help me with the door?" Kiyomi yell.
When there's no answer, he reached through her pockets just to remember that her wand were in her bag right outside the door.

With her wand in one hand and the box from Arithmancy class in the other, Sierra Greingoth wandered down the corridors of the castle. Right. She had not a clue in this world what she was meant to be doing, but all she did know was that she was technically holding a cursed walnut in her hands. If it blew up in the next five seconds, she was going to haunt Hadley in the afterlife...

She pushed open the door to the girls' bathroom and stepped inside. If she was going to possibly look like an idiotic fool in doing this, she was going to do it away from the crowds of people. She placed the box on the sink and stared at it, almost as if she was hoping the answers would simply come to her.

Tori was NOT about to look like a fool and a magic school failout in front of her peers as she attempted her Arithmancy homework. She huffed and she puffed and she kicked the door the girl's bathroom, since one of her hands was full with the box under her arm and her other hand was clutching her wand and notes. Grr.

Stupid homework. See this was exactly why she did NOT like Arithmancy. It was sooooo involved and took all this work and calculations and all sorts of things she didn't even know how to do!

But whatever. Tori made her way over to the sinks and carefully balanced her box on the edge of the sink. Tori cleared her throat and eyed the other girl at the sink.

Sierra Greingoth. Perfect. Just what she needed now. SIGH. She would just have to ignore... it. Greingoth. That. Ugh.

Tori tapped her box so that it opened and the cursed walnut hovered there. "Now what?" the redheaded third year voiced aloud. Now what indeed...

No. Freaking. Way.

What are the odds that Sierra hides out in the girls' bathroom to do the same exact homework assignment Tori frazzling Bunbury was also in the bathroom to do? "It had to be you of all people, didn't it?" she mumbled, not looking up. Nevertheless, she sighed and turned Tori's way. Bunny didn't seem to know what was going on either, so Sierra figured they could at least cheat off one another.

They were both Slytherins. That shouldn't be a problem, right?

Sierra, too, tapped the box and up rose the cursed walnut. "Cast Arithmos Revelio," Sierra answered, even though she knew Bunny hadn't been talking to her. The thing was, Sierra needed Bunny's help next, so hopefully the message was conveyed. She brought her wand down then up, and then she finished off the movement with a nice flick. "Arithmos Revelio!"

At least, Tori consoled herself, the other girl doing the same assignment was also a Slytherin. She wouldn't have been able to handle a Puffer watching her totally fail at magic tricks right now. So anyway, they could work together cheat off each other for the benefit of their own House!

Wooo!

"Arithmos Revelio?" Tori repeated softly, not moving her wand yet. She watched Sierra perform the spell first and then did the same thing, moving her wand down and then up with a flick. "ARITHMOS REVELIO!"

She waited for a long line of numbers to slowly appear, brighter and clearer with each passing moment. "Now what do we do? Decipher these?"

Sierra watched as a group of numbers appeared and floated above the box. Her eyes followed them until they stopped, and then she stared at them, unsure what to do next. She looked over at Bunny, but the girl was asking questions left and right, which was a good sign that she'd be absolutely no help. That figured. Sierra rolled her eyes and looked back at her number.

"No, not yet," she said, raising her wand again. "We're supposed to tap the numbers until they break apart into those four groups Hadley talked about." She experimentally tapped her wand at a few of the numbers, but nothing ever seemed to happen. "Great...," she mumbled.

Where was Hollingberry when you needed her?!

Tori stared at her numbers, then blinked at Sierra's (which were the same), then went back to staring at hers. "Hmm. When Hadley did this, the numbers just broke up like, right away, right?"

Flicking her wand out, Tori poked at her floating numbers. "She said they'll break into the uh..." she eyed her notes resting on the edge of the sink, "Basis, Kernel/Core, Range, and Cline/Type. Right?"

Riiiiiiiight....

Sierra, like Tori, was staring at both sets of numbers and waiting for some startling revaluation to come. There was nothing, though. Absolutely nothing. The numbers just floated there, taunting them, like they were reveling in the fact they couldn't be beaten.

"No," Sierra said, tapping at the numbers again, "she had to find some combination. She said they wouldn't break up otherwise." She tapped at the numbers in several different places. She poked her wand at them, getting a little annoyed, but of course nothing actually happened. They were numbers. They didn't care what she did to them.

Or maybe they did? They were guarding a cursed walnut, after all. Just then, after one additional tap, the numbers began to break apart.
