Arya was certain she zoned out somewhere between hearing his name and hearing 'drawings'. Really she was only here because he was a centaur, not that she was staring. That was completely rude. Nope, just being around him was fascinating enough.
Why were they drawing birds?
She pulled out her supplies, flipped through the book for her patronus, and took more care than she did in transfiguration in drawing the bird's flight patterns. It was much easier when the object she was drawing on wasn't giggling.

She knows she is alright with drawing. She often drew landscapes so drawing shouldn't be a problem at all. Beatrice focused herself on the task at hand. She chose the simplest pattern of all, the straight line. They won't condemn her for that, won't they ? After all, she's just a first year.

There you go. MJ looked around. Oh-mi-gosh these are amazing; she thought, of her fellow classmates drawings. Unfortunately, MJ couldn't draw for Acid Pops. She looked at her own parchment - the V formation. That was about the only one she knew. And she'd just used arrows and not drawings of birds - oops. The smile fled from her face. "I'm a Ravenclaw!! I should be able to draw birds!!" MJ was certainly finding Hogwarts lessons increasingly difficult!

Scrying was interesting. Well...Josh thought it was the most boring one so far. Bishop introduced that to them before, right? He could not really remember but whatever...there was no doubt it was boring. So he hoped that this bird watching thing would be interesting...maybe. He had try and see.
But...
...drawing? Eeeeeeeeh...he was horrible at drawing stuff there was no doubt about that yet it did not mean he would not try. Hehehehe. So.....a flying pattern huh?

At last. Something Thomas could actually do!
He breathed an audible sigh of relief and went in his battered school bag to retrieve his muggle sketchbook and the coloured pencils his ma had sent him by owl earlier that week. He quickly sketched out the straight flight pattern of a bird, and wrote underneath explaining what it was, immediately regretting writing on his drawing and ruining it with his terrible handwriting and dyslexic spelling. He cringed inwardly as he looked at the mess he'd made.
The other kids were still busy with theirs, so he began drawing a very detailed picture of a bird underneath. Much better. Hopefully that would distract from the mess he'd made with his description. :/

They were drawing? Well she could do that. Probably not a particularly good drawing in the amount of time they had, but the professor was just put on her 'like' list. Maybe somewhere around the middle.
Opening up her parchment filled notebook, the Slytherin got out her quill and ink, glancing for a moment to the wonderful Gryffindor in the class. Josh, duh. Wait, no, she as becoming distracted. Placing the ink bottle on her desk, she dipped her quill in it and started drawing. Were they supposed to choose one bird and their flight pattern? Or it just didn't matter? Whatever the case, she couldn't remember one specific bird's flight pattern and just opted for drawing any kind.

Nathan was really not much to draw but as luck would have it his mom was an amature bird enthusiest. There was a certain picture of flight patterns she took that always made him chuckle and reminded him of of her. He took that very picture to Howarts with him and maybe this was a picure he could draw if he tried it:

August was so excited that his guess of Augury was pretty close to what the entire lesson was going to be centered around. He had been the underdog in all of his lessons so far, besides Muggle Studies, but he had actually been sort of right this time around.

Birds were probably what she was best at she began to draw on the paper neatly it took a while to get it perfect she turned the page around and wrote her signiture she looked at it for a moment ''Perfect'' she muttered to herself and then drew some more lines she peeked at other peoples drawings

Alyssa thought of the various flight patterns that she had seen and decided to draw one of the wild geese flying. "The Professor better not be expecting a drawing just like Michaelangelo because she's going to be in for some disappointment", Alyssa thought to herself.
She started sketching on the parchment what she thought she remembered how wild geese flew, her tongue slightly sticking out from the top corner of her mouth as she drew.

Penny really wasn't great at drawing stuff...but figured she'd have a go, just for the fun of it.. "Professor even though crows and ravens look similar, they fly very different. Crows flap slowly and methodically, where Ravens take frequent breaks from flapping to soar or glide."

Sitting at the back of the room, Daichi layed his head lazily on his parm as he listened for the next question. He wasn't very fond of Divination, prefered doing real wandwork even though he failed at it but still tried to do his best for he wanted to get a good mark on every subject. The second year looked up in interest when the Centaur..i mean , professor told them to draw any flight pattern. Daichi had never thought about that they even had flight patterns but the first image in his head was that of a V-shape one. Grabbing his parchment , he dipped his quill in some ink and began to draw.
Placing the quill down he looked satisfied at his result.

Rolling her eyes, Thea picked up her quill. Drawing.. really? Ew. Thea couldn't draw.. as in REALLY couldn't draw.
Not looking at the professor, she pushed her erm.. drawing to the front of her deak. As she thought in the beginning.. this was stupid.
If this was what this year was going to be about.. then maybe she would maybe have to think about taking this for her exams in a few years.. she was not drawing all of the time. Mhm..

Still staring at the Professor, Nessie coudn't talk much. She was listening to every word though. She liked Divination quite a lot, it was a difficult yet interesting subject. She eventually moved her eyes from the Professor when she realised that the whole class had started to sketch drawings of birds. She took out her things and got drawing.
When she had completed her drawning she held it back and took a good look. She thought of adding arrows but she wasn't too sure in which direction to add them in. "Um..Professor?" she asked after she had raised her hands. "If..I..had..to..put..arrows..in ...which.. directions..would..I put..them..in?" she asked still scared of the cenataur.

Salima wasnt really paying much attention to what she what she was drawing but she thought she did worst than ok. She also added a bit of colour with muggle pencil from home.
