As Divination lessons have been relocated to the ground level for the term, you'll find the classroom has been dusted slightly and there is someone standing at the front of the room waiting for you. That someone is neither human nor animal, as a being with the lower body of a chestnut horse and the upper body of a strong, muscular black haired man.
Take your seats quickly, limiting your chatter and staring, as the lesson will begin shortly.
ooc: the lesson will begin in approximately four hours from now.
Lesson has started; please pretend as though you've been there the whole time unless you WANT to lose points =)
Justin walked into the classroom and said to the professor as he passed , " Good day, Professor. I'm Justin Wellheart . " And then he quickly found a seat.

Isobel thought Divination was supposed to be up high in a tower or something. It had been before, hadn't it? Oh well, she shrugged it off and walked into the classroom. "Good morning professor," she said cheerfully before finding a seat and sitting down by Penny.
Alright, so Charner had been told not to stare before.
But this....this she just couldn't help but to stare.
A plus? She actually went over to the Professor....horse-man...person. And looked waaaayyy up at him with wide, wondrous eyes. Then, her gaze trailed down to the Professor's hooves and she blinked at them. "I can see why Divination is down here this term." Her eyes went up with a smile. "I can imagine it would be quite hard climbing stairs with those. Are you for real a Centaur?" Stupid question maybe, but she had to know. Some people liked to play transfiguration games. Though this was divination. Hmmmm.

WAIT.
"AHHH! YO-YOUR A HORSE!" Is it normal for wizards to have horse-people teach lessons? Is it even normal to see horse-people!? She knew Hogwarts had ghosts, but not horse-people. She didn't even move from her spot right in front of her Professor. Why weren't the other students freaking out. This can not be good. He is a horse-person.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOLY Hippogriff Nika had not just called their Divination professor a horse. Kurumi half jumped out of her seat and shot Nika a quick but potent glare before marching over to the younger lioness. "Nika...I understand you are surprised, but the proper term is centaur....he is not a horse," she muttered.
Great, damage control already?
"You should apologize to Professor Thereos."

Damon walked into the classroom which was surprisingly dusty but not much of a factor in Damon's view "Good day to you Professor" said Damon in the most respectful manner possible and started looking for a comfortable place to sit.
Cael walked into the Divination classroom with just a bit of apprehension. He hadn't heard or read of any Ashdowns know to possess the Sight and he was dreadfully sure that he'd be failing this class pretty soon. He sighed, dumping his stuff only somewhat elegantly beside a desk before plopping down after it. He snapped out of his daze only to be confronted by a mass of chestnut hair. Following it up, he gasped when he realized what he was staring at, a centaur!
Wicked. Maybe this class wouldn't be a total letdown after all.
Emily trudged into Divination frowning. She wasn't even sure why she was taking this lesson. It was all nonsence anyway and... there was a centaur in the classroom. WOAH! When the heck did that happen?
She quickly looked away from him remembering what she'd read about centaurs and how they woudn't like to see her staring. "Um, good day... professor." He was teaching them right? She quickly took a seat, still not wanting to look. That would at least explain why the classroom was on the bottom floor. Mabye it woudn't be so bad after all?

Nora wasn't quite excited about the Divination class, since she knew that she would never be able to predict the future, or read in tea leaves or something. But once she stepped into the classroom, she had to fight back, so her eyes wouldn't go wide and her jaw drop.
The professor was... a... centaur!
On a second thought, she might like this class.
"Hello, professor," she said with a smile, and then took a seat in the front.

Destiny stopped. Right in the middle of the doorway. She had to take this moment in, for it would never happen again.
Embrace it, embrace it.
For the first time since taking Divination, Destiny Shepard walked into the classroom.. with her breath. She was not huffing, nor wheezing. She was breathing! Sweet Merlin, she loved having the classrooms on the lower floors. Now if only she could talk the new Astronomy Professor into moving his tower of a classroom down to the dungeons. Her life would be perfect!
Taking a deep breath, because she COULD, she strolled into the classroom, with a grin on her face. She was proud that she could BREATHE! "Hello, Professor!" she said, and giving him a salute, she bounded over to a desk.
She was still breathing!

She was quite happy to know that the divination this term was going to be on the GROUND FLOOR instead of all the way up in the towers. Yes. Very pleased. Which was why she had not dropped this class this year. And also because Josh would more than likely be there, so he better be there!
Walking into the classroom, she looked arou-
...
Centaur. Stare.
Wait, NO. Staring was BAD. Blinking and looking away for a moment, her cheeks may have turned a nice rosy red as she looked back to the Professor. Well that was embarrassing. Everyone knows only to stare when the class actually started!! "Good day, Professor." Professor right? Him?

Salander strolled into Divinations, wondering why the classroom was even down here. He was expecting to see Professor Bishop and ask her about it when the sight that greeted him made him stop dead in his tracks.
Dude, there is a centaur. Right.there.
Eyes grows larger out of surprise but more so, growing excitement. Look at them powerful build eh? He started to move towards his usual seat by the front corner but paused, glancing at those legs. Hmm...
The Head Boy decided to sit by the 2nd row but right smack at the center. Close enough to still see the awesomeness, without getting a hoof to the face if it happens.

Centaur? Thea raised her eyebrows as she stood in the doorway. He looked like he meant business alright.. Hmph. Taking a few more careful steps into the room, she shifted her bag more onto her shoulder.
With her foot, she shoved her fluffy persion out of the room. She had taken to following her to lessons.. and it was annoying. 'Maleficent.. seriously!' she walked back to the oorway. 'Go. Away.' Glaring at the cat, she gave it another nudge with her plimsole. Hissing slightly, she raised her bottle brush tail and trotted away.. not even bothering to turn back. Shaking her head, Thea sighed and walked back in. 'Morning, professor.' She smiled anxiously and took a seat.

Divination...
...now this was a class Sierra didn't mind too much. She didn't believe in Divination, no; but she made good marks in it, so she tolerated it. She didn't have to believe in something to sit in class and read information off a card.
...and that's all this was, right?
Heh. So she walked into the classroom quite nonchalantly. This was just another day, another class. That was when her eyes fell upon the centaur standing in the front of the room. She gave him a cautious glance and then turned to find a seat.
...hold up. O_O
"What in the name of Merlin!?" she said aloud, turning to look at the centaur with wide eyes and a dropped jaw. She walked to the front of the room, yet stayed within a reasonable distance of the centaur. "Oh my gosh..." ... "I mean..." ... "You're a..." ... "...but you..." She turned toward Evelyn and gestured wildly toward the centaur. "He's a..." ... "...but he's..."
...
"Sir...do you have a brother?" she quietly asked. Please say no.

Alex hadn't been exactly sure WHY they relocated lessons to the ground floor for divination this term, but it made a lot more sense once he entered the class and got a look at the teacher. His eyes widened and he tried not to stare, but how could he not?! There was a CENTAUR standing there in front of him! Look all regal and stuff. As the centaurs usually looked.
"Good day, professor," Alex said politely, and as he took a seat, he shot a NASTY glare at some of the less tactful people in the class who were asking stupid questions and probably insulting their new professor. Did they not realize how lucky they were?! Centaurs were supposed to be downright awesome at Divination, they didn't want to scare him away with their rudeness, did they?
As he sat down, Alex wrinkled his eyebrows. Now that he got a good look at the professor...he looked awfully familiar. But he'd never met a centaur before...
He must have just been imagining it. With a shrug, he pulled his books out of bag and prepared for the lesson.

Hmmm...
Turning her gaze to the front of the class, Evelyn raised a brow at Sierra's reaction to the centaur Professor. This was...quite unexpected. Especially from HER. Frowning slightly, the seventh year tilted her head to the side just the tiniest bit and scoffed quietly.
"Yes, he's a centaur Sierra. Stop stuttering and don't be rude. Greet him properly." She had NOOO idea what Sierra muttered to the guy since Evelyn was sitting in the back, but really now...he was their professor.

Walking into the classroom on the ground floor, Stella couldn't help but think about the conversations she'd had earlier in term about the Divination mystery. Both the one with Charles and Eino, and the one with Matt. And stepping into the room fully, she glanced at those who'd arrived and smiled as she saw Eino there. At least he'd managed to solve his mystery. She was still curious, though, and continued looking around the room. Giving another semi-smile to Salander as she'd seen him. At least he wasn't going to be able to try and talk her onstage here.
But then she noticed the centaur in the room and stopped in her tracks. This was going to be interesting. "Good day, Professor...," she began, once she'd gotten over her surprise and headed for an open seat. Did centaurs like being called professor? It seemed like everyone else was okay with referring to him that way, but it seemed odd to her. Mundane.

Cassie walked into the Divinition classroom. She walked in with definite purpose in her step because she had heard that their professor for Divinition was...

It was truuuuuuuuuuuuue..this was going to be a very epic class. She wanted to touch his tail..would he let them pet him? She hoped so..so prettiful.
"Good evening professor centaur person." She smiled brightly at the man-horse.

Emmaleigh was super excited about her first divination class of the year. The subject had always been one of her favorites. She just though it was so cool you you could find things out yourself and the future and all, and it was certainly easier than Arithmancy. The puff was also excited when she read that the divination classroom had been moved to the ground floor. It meant no more exhausting trips up to the towers. As she stepped into the classroom she stopped suddenly in surprise. That wasn't professor Bishop standing up front. No, that was what, a centaur? Talk about awesome! Her senses kicking in, she gave him a smile, the girl said, "Good morning, Professor." and made her way to the second row, as close to the center as she could get.

Louisa had gotten aaaaaaaaaall the way to the top tower for Divination only to find the classroom, well, not there! She stared at the sealed door for a couple of minutes before descending the stairs to go to the courtyard to ask about the new-classroom..
..only she'd found it on the Ground floor.
The girl knocked on the door and peered in. The first thing that caught her eyes were the legs. She quickly averted her gaze to the Centaur and gave a nervous smile. "Umm... hello. D-d-do I enter?" Was there Centaur conviction in Hogwarts that she should know about? This room was sure their Divination classroom, though.

Her step faltered for an almost unperceivable millisecond, her mind connecting the dots in a split seconds before resuming her walk inside.
Mundane.

Glaring at the cat, she gave it another nudge with her plimsole. Hissing slightly, she raised her bottle brush tail and trotted away.. not even bothering to turn back. Shaking her head, Thea sighed and walked back in. 'Morning, professor.' She smiled anxiously and took a seat.

"Thereos." He introduced himself as. Professor was still a weird term.
SPOILER!!: Staring, nervous, slightly rude students

O___O
Where was he? Why was there a horse...no man...no HORSE MAN IN THE CLASSROOM?! He looked at some of the other kids already in the classroom and they didn't seem too worried. "Umm hello Professor." He took a seat near the back of the class. He had never seen anything like this.

"H-hello Professor" the brunette mumbled nervously as she walked in.

HANG ON?!
He was a.. a.. centaury thing. She'd read about them in one of Jude's mythology books but seeing one in the flesh was..
Intimidating? Scary? Fascinating.

She dis a double take and looked back up at him with wide eyes. Clearing her throat as to not seem rude she sat down in her seat and looked at Kurumi. She eyed her as if to say watch ne in case something goes wrong.

As he did he elbowed his friend lightly and gave him a OH-MY-MERLIN-DO-YOU-SEE-WHAT-I-SEE?! look, very discreetly, of course. After he sat down he tried to distract himself, to prevent him from rudely staring, by reviewing notes from last year's class.

Wicked. Maybe this class wouldn't be a total letdown after all.
"Staring and gasping are very impolite." Thereos said sternly. Had they never seen a man with a horse body before? "Two points from each of you."
SPOILER!!: Loud children!

THERE WAS A HORSE-MAN!!!! "COOL!!!" The child exclaimed. I wonder if he'll let me ride him. We could have all sorts of Half-Human, Half-Horse adventures... Jonathan had actually dealt with Centaurs before.... Traversing the world and all that.
...But none of them let me ride them... Anyway, Jonathan eagerly made his way to a seat, front row, and was READY TO READ MINDS!!!

WAIT.
"I am not a horse." Thereos said firmly, shaking his head at the small girl, before addressing the TWO loud children. "And please. Save your loud voices for when we venture into the Forest. Inside voices will do for now. Seven points from you both."

Hmmmm.
As if the staring wasn't enough, THIS child had to go and ask not only a rude question, but make a RUDE comment as well. "This subject is not a joke." Humans. "Ten points from you for your ignorance and rudeness."

...and that's all this was, right?
Another gaping student!? Honestly, hadn't Tate informed his students of ANYTHING over the years? "Quit stuttering, ch-- student." Thereos corrected himself quickly. "Two points from you for your rudeness. And no, I do not have any human relatives."
Seriously. Kids these days and their questions.
SPOILER!!: Thank you

"You should apologize to Professor Thereos."

"Yes, he's a centaur Sierra. Stop stuttering and don't be rude. Greet him properly." She had NOOO idea what Sierra muttered to the guy since Evelyn was sitting in the back, but really now...he was their professor.
...RIGHT!? He wasn't a crazy centaur storming into the castle right!? Right?????
Thereos turned as two students with badges appeared to be coaxing their housemates to calm themselves. Smiling in gratitude, he did appreciate their efforts, even if he didn't really need their defense.
"Thank you." He nodded his head politely at them.
Time to start the lesson. "The noble art of Divination. For those who didn't catch my name, I'm Thereos and I shall be teaching you this term." Something many of his peers did not approve of, but they will survive. "There are many different forms of Divination. Can you please - one at a time - tell me some of these forms that you know? Whether you have studied them or not?"

Thea was glad the professor hadn't took any points from her.. even if it was just a couple. Yes, she had been fairly suprised not too see professor Bishop, who she had liked very much but change was good in some cases, hmm?
Raising her hand, Thea thought up an answer. 'Tarot cards.' Thea nodded once, and smiled. Her Grandmother could do this well.. but yeah she was a bit weird so..

Aaand...okay.
She could understand the points loss, but that didn't mean she had to like it! That loud kid would have annoyed her too. Rubbing her eyes, she leaned back in her seat as she eyed Sierra. She was going to sit, right?
Yet the only good that came out of this so far was that she forgot the Professor was a centaur already. He was a professor. He took points. So far...she didn't like him, even if he was extremely polite. The first question though, she smiled a little and raised her hand. "There is pyromancy, Professor."
