The Staff Table The school staff is seated on a dias high overlooking the Great Hall. You may approach them for conversation, but they probably deserve a peaceful meal as much as anyone else. |
After her trip through the grounds Seren was definitely in the mood for some warm comforting food and a nice warm nettle tea.. or perhaps a peppermint, she could hardly decide. She approached the dias and the first thing she noticed was... there was nobody there. No doubt the other Professor's were quite busy planning their lessons and marking homework. It was what she was supposed to be doing too. But not right now, she deserved an hour or two to relax and eat. "Hhhhmm," murmured Seren as she took her seat, peering out at the house tables. Seemed as though everyone was enjoying themselves, escaping the chilly conditions outside. After pouring herself a cup of steaming hot nettle tea Seren decided it was about time to get stuck into some food. She would need to energy to return to the greenhouses, there was always work to be done. Luckily for her the house elves prepared spectacular food. She loaded up her plate with a seasoned roast lamb, roast potatoes, pumpkin and some peas. Then came the best bit. The gravy! An almost childlike smile appeared on Seren's face as the gravy trickled out and generously coated her lamb and vegetables. |
"FISHLIPS! THOMAS!" barked Vindictus as he sat down at the left end of the table. "Leave the landlubbers be and join me table." |
After getting up at the captain's bellow, Simon followed the man from the table he had been up to the front of the large hall and to the staff table. "Aye, ye bellowed for me captain?" he replied as the other two shipmates were summoned as well. |
"Aye, I did," replied Vindictus. He nodded at the ornate chair located at the center. "How much do ye reckon that chair be worth?" |
Simon followed the man's gaze to the chair in question, moving somewhat closer to get a better look. "I reckon' quite a few doubloons to add to thee ship," he answered looking back at the captain. |

"Aye, Captain!" Arya didn't hesitate to leave her pie at the Ravenclaw table to join Vindictus and her crewmate up on the dias. They had more pie up here any way, and better seating. Catching the tail end of the conversation, she nodded her head in agreement. "Me agrees, Cap'n. 'Least a good few doubloons." |
Mad Jasper Glick edged up to the staff table, eying the corsairs already there, hanging on to their every word. He gave 'ole Barnabas a slight look of recognition and then took a seat off to the far right. It was clear that he'd taken a side--one opposite the three men already seated. |
AHHHHHHHHH. Oh the girl was absolutely bloated! Was she even a girl?! This girl's body... ew... why was she so short? Why was there no wart on the girl's face? DISGUSTING. Ah whatever now. She had gotten hold of the body and that was the only thing important in here! "BEHOLD, MISHA DEADWOOD AY'AYEEE, I BE HERE--OUT MY WAY YOU FILTHY LOT." She made way for the right side of the table. "WHERE'S ME JACK O' CUPS?! I saw 'im moments ago eating with me. ARRRRGGH!" Misha eyed the Captain and HIS LITTLE SERVANTS. OHHHH. She was loyal to her own leader, thank you very much. The woman vigorously started scratching her cheek. There was nothing. The girl's face was FLAWLESS which utterly disgusted her. "Me wart... me wart! SOMEONE STOLE ME PRECIOUS WART." Misha immediately raised her head in anger towards the left side of the table. Someone had to be of blame! It was them! ALL OF THEM! The lady took a seat next to her old mate and friend, Jasper Glick. Mad Jasper Glick. |
With deliberate steps Jack 'Three Fingers' Paisley marches down towards the Staff table, eyes deadset on the the older man "Arrr, claimin' a mighty fine prize that aint ev'n yerth are ye Cap'n?" the First Mate snarled as he hoisted himself up the diaz, then gripped the right side of the chair. "Not'f we got sumthin' to say about it, aint that right mateyth?" he chuckled, angling his head at Glick and Deadwood. |

"Dun know what he be a claimin' is 'is but I says it ain't." Yup he'd side with the Jack o' Cups before the Captain any day. He spat on the ground at the Captain's feet and took his coin back out flipping it in his fingers again, his large eyes glaring at the Captain. |

Thomas' head snapped up as the Cap'n barked for him to join the crew. "Aye!" he shouted as he gripped his tray tightly and made haste to the table. Sitting in the free seat beside the captain the old man ripped a piece of fabric free of the sleeve of his robes and fashioned a makeshift eye patch thingy to wrap around his head. "Cap'n. What ye be needin'?" he asked as his good eye fell in the mutineers across the table. "Ah. These here scallywags need to go to the depths, sir," Thomas said as he leaned in and lowered his voice. |
The Captain ignored the rabble at the other end of the table. "Aye, ignore the scalwags. They know nothin' Aye," he said loudly to his loyal mates, but loud enough so that they could hear him. But he took some time to evaluate their 'new' appearances. Mischa had some meat on her bones and the unsightly wart was gone. Doubloon was still playing with a coin. Three Fingers still had a chip on his skinny shoulder. Mad Jasper and Fishlips looked like . . . no, this couldn't be right . . . girls! |
Silverbeard actually grumbled a tad as his eye fell on the FORMER first mate. Thomas was an old, old man and had always been loyal to the Cap'n... and that bloke really tanned his hide. "Aye, Cap'n... for now," he said. And his voice sounded WRONG. So very, very wrong. What the... |
Fishlips sucked on his lips that felt much smaller than usual all while glaring at the scoundrels at the other end of the table. It was only the Captain's words that had him slowly descending into the seat beside Silverbeard. "Aye, Cap'n..." He'd ignore them and just... take in all these new appearances. |
Ahh his Boatswain has join them. Excellent! His loyal mateys were Eyes shifting momentarily from the Captain he glances at the other fellow he thought was Sailor Buffington but seemed to have lost a lot of his scars "Eh, we all knowth yea aint much 'f a thinkin type Buffin'ton... 'n be ye runnin outta sharks to bear hug ? Yer face looks to be a baby's bottom" he cackled. He kinda preferred the scars really. Then the old man chimes in except!--"'N Doc thar looks to have be shrunk into a wee lassie! BWHAHAHAHHA!!!" the First Mate pointed and cackled. Then he finally returns his gaze at the Captain "Oh we be knowin' ye all too well Cap'n, lessonth carved on me fin'erth right here" he said as he raises his right hand to show off his three fingers. Or five. WHAAA???? :whaa: "I got me fingers back.... I GOT ME FINGERS BACK!!!" the First Mate howls excitedly as he shows it off to his loyal mateys. Howdat happen? |
"Shiver me timbers!" Mad Jasper Glick suddenly yelled. By the tone of his voice, one might think he'd gone deaf or was close to it. He jumped out of his chair and then used it to climb atop the table. He looked left, and then he looked right--"Me hair's grown longer! Me legs' grown shorter!" His booming voice echoed across the Great Hall. "Me voice has gone softer!" |
The Captain rolled his eyes. "Aye, and yer gonna lose those fin'ers just as quick!" he replied loudly. "Arrr, especially if you dare touch me treasure!" |
Yeah. REAAAAAAL funny. Thomas may have muttered something that was a variation of 'I got your wee lassie right here.' ... Uh. What the hell was Jasper Glick on about. Oh hahahahah! "Look at 'im, Cap'n. He's so pretty innit he?!" Thomas said as he pointed at Mad Jasper and laughed. |
Sherman stayed a bit longer then his crewmates as the captain called them back not backing down at first. "Nah...just figured to let them live. Better mates then ye an'way," he said letting go of the chair with a huff. He went to run a hand over his head as he backed away confused as it ran through hair instead of along smooth skin. The sailor pushed it aside as he rolled his eyes at the man's excitement over his fingers, taking a seat on the side loyal to the captain. "Aye..." he replied confirming Barnabas' words. |

Dabloon was eying the Captain and his brood with narrowed eyes and a frown still flipping the coin relentlessly when he heard his mate start yelling about his fingers and nearly dropped his coin. Catching it before it hit the ground because, that being bad luck to him, he turned his head toward the First Mate and frowned, "What're ya goin' on about?" He leaned forward to look at his fingers and his eyes widened. So he had gotten his fingers back. "No me thinks ye'll be losin' yers Cap'n with threats o' the likes o' that," he snarled at the Captain. "Ain't yer treasure ta be threatenin' with!" He eyed Sherman and laughed, "So says the Cap'n's parrot! Ain't got nothin' new to say, Parrot?" Hearing the Cannon Master talk about mutiny he frowned, "Doubt ye could 'ear a thing with those cannon's goin' off in yer ear!" |

He did a double take at Doubloon-- signature coin still there, but everything about him has changed. Least his eyes didnt spook as much "Aye me Boatswain be sayin' th' truth."he nodded firmly, snarling at Fishlips-- who dont look it anymore-- and the Captain "Part 'o that booty be ours fair 'n thquare!" and he wasnt just referring to the chair. Then he suddenly glances up the table "What ye be yellin about now Mad J--" he trailed off when he realized "Me Master Gunner.... a wee lass now... " he muttered as he glanced at Misha and realized that she too was also a child "Arrrgh... Wha' sorcery be 'tis? Me loyal mateys turned to children?... " |
