Multiple GIANT oak trees + multiple GIANT treehouses with many little room and corridors connecting them together, as well as providing easy access to higher areas of the trees. There are also tire swings and climbing ropes and wooden ladders.
Fear of falling? Don't worry about it! The base around the tree has been charmed to act like a cushion, in case you misstep. You'll feel like you've fallen into a pile of the plushiest stuffed animals you've seen.
Previous groundskeeper, Constantine Masterson, donated the blueprints for the treehouse to Mr. Stryker as a present to the students. See, he did care.
" I would do my homework depending on how many points Gryffindor and /or I
get for this DADA homework" William explained to Zara. "Sure, I will do the ballroom dance with you" William said to Zara. " i am not as good as my cousin Rex Trigwell" William told Zara. "What happened in Ancient Runes?" William asked Zara. I tried going back and nothing is happening there" William sighed.
"Oh, thank you William. Next week, then. At the 24th, Wednesday." She smiled as she confirmed the schedule when they would dance.
"I'm sure you'll be fine," she said. Rex Trigwell? Hmm, Zara had no idea who he was but she was sure William knew how to dance. That was what matters.
Ancient Runes? "Well, Professor Christiansen received this letter from an owl and immediately ended class. I wonder what it said."

"Thanks, Kurumi." She smiled at the third year lioness. She had a very nice voice.
Turning to all of them, Ella, Nessie, and Kurumi, she said, "Well, do you wanna sing a song altogether? Something that the three of you all know," she grinned, knowing that Zara doesn't know ANY song with lyrics. Ever. So she was fine with any other song, as long as it was easy to memorize.

The boy grinned sheepishly as the girl seemed to look at him funny for saying he actually liked that song. But.. y'know, it wasn't true. He was.. just trying to be nice? Or something.. Either way, the boy shrugged at the response uttered from the girl. "Yeahh. I have no idea why. Maybe because it's kind of old? Who knows." He shrugged again, uncertain of why his mother had such a strange taste in music. And it explained why Jayce almost always carried his music player and head phones with him everywhere. It was to tune out his mother. And anyone who listened to back music.
BEEEEAAAAAAM.
This made Jayce overly happy. She was like him, and he was like her. Well, only in the fact that they didn't have strange accents which most American girls would fawn over. "I'm actually from Florida. Orlando to be exact. And, you? Where'd you use to live?" he asked curiously. This was EXCITING. In all of the years he's been here, Jay had never really met anyone or seen anyone else from Salem. It was.. odd. But then again, he was probably blind and oblivious.
The seventh year raised an eyebrow. "PFFFT. I don't believe that. Maybe.. maybe you're like me. You're not book smart, but you're common sense smart." Shrug. Then again, Jayce wasn't exactly common sense smart either. But OH WELL. "I think you're pretty smart," he grinned over at her, putting an emphasis on the I.
That was.. something. He felt like somewhat of an idiot when he fell, knowing that if there had been some professor around, they probably would have scolded him for even standing on the swing that way. Jay turned over, just about to stand up when-
OOF! The girl had lost her balance as well and had fallen on top of him. Ehehe. Awkward. "It's alright," the boy grinned at her rather close face. He pushed a piece of hair from his own face, uncertain of what to do, let alone say, next.
Peyton grinned at his reply. Old. That was true.... but she tended to listen mostly to oldies these days. She wasn't a fan of all that new stuff. Mainly because she wasn't able to tune in to the radio while being trapped in her basement at home. Darn... she really shouldn't be thinking about home at the minute. "Some of the older artists happen to be my favorite," she admitted. "Yah know, besides that one of course." And a few more... who was counting though? Hah.
HE WAS FROM FLORIDA TOO. Gasp. How was that even possible? "Are you serious?" she laughed because she couldn't refrain herself. "I met this other boy from Florida like 3 days ago. He's from Miami." Ehh...as if he wanted to hear her say that. Oh well. "I'm from Colorado, but I'm from a city no one's ever really heard of." And then there were her parent's who no one would typically think of either so that worked.
Smile. Gosh darn, this kid certainly has a way of wooing ladies with compliments didn't? Not that she particularly had anything against that. Common sense smart? "I guess you could say that without it being a lie." She wasn't retarded. There was some kind of smart in her whatever that might be. "Hang out with me more and you can see how smart I really am," she teased. He was giving her too much credit.
What a way to meet a person... Fall right on top of him. Just because this was a little awkward and all... Peyton got off him. There were always those people in higher authority who may be suspicious upon seeing that. Hmm... the ground felt squishy and soft. She looked over at him from where she sat. "I didn't hurt you did I?" she asked him, hoping that she hadn't dislocated something.
"I'm Peyton," she added, feeling the need to introduce herself. "Slytherin 5th year."

"I'm fine -" she began to speak and then she noticed he had lost his own balance - luckily for him the ground wasn't hard at all and wouldn't hurt. And the same for her.
"You okay? Sorry if I sh-shocked you there" she laughed, seeing the hilarity that catching her would cause him to topple or even nearly topple over. After all she wasn't that heavy really - unless it was more the shock that caused the sudden loss of balance. Putting those thoughts in the back of her mind she smiled over to him. "Th-thanks for being there - I'll have to give you a proper thanks in a bit" she smiled over to him.
She didn't know how she'd do it at all, maybe a big hug? But could that get awkward from what Hannah said...a kiss on the cheek as people did in France would be way too awkward right now - or so she thought.
Seeing as his hands were full with a certain Ravenclaw Simon really couldn't grab onto something to stop his decent so he rather unceremoniously landed on his backside with Kyle on his lap. "Yeah...I'm ok. And its alright," the Gryffindor assured her even though he in truth hadn't thought it was her until they were closer. "You didn't so much shock me, I just hadn't expected to fall down myself," he said, adding a chuckle of his own at the end.

"You're welcome," he said, raising a slight eyebrow of curiousity as she mentioned thanking him properly later. "You don't need to...tend to be in the habit of catching falling damsels lately," he mused with a smile thinking back to the incident a week or two ago on the practice pitch with Selina. That time hadn't felt so weird though.

" ok, I will mark my calender right now" William told Zara. William wrote in his book, Wednesday, 24th, dance with Zara.I hope I will be fine and get lots of points" Willaim said to Zara." The letter either said something very good or something bad, let's hope it was good" Willaim explained to Zara. "Do not forget my dance or I will look everywhere for you" Wiliam laughed.

Kyle winced, for his sake more as he landed on the ground with her on top of him. At least she wasn't say awkwardly enough in a skirt - well, it wasn't that today, for some odd reason she had a feeling leggings would be needed. And low and behold, they were.
Kyle chuckled, slightly when Simon said she hadn't shocked him. "Well yeah falling when your catching someone is quite a feat...I'd probably have fallen the other direction myself landing on top of whoever or whatever I'd caught" she smiled, her eyes twinkling with laughter as they always seemed to do.
Okay she had to admit it was kind of awkward to be having a conversation when she was literally on top of Simon - still a nagging little joke kept playing through her mind which she had to force herself not to say. Not the time, and too soon after than divinations class...you know, with the whole Hannah thing. I think i've fallen for you wasn't something to say when you were trying to avoid that subject as she had been carefully trying to do for the past week.
Quickly in a bit of shuffling she had pulled herself up, offering Simon her hand at the same time.
"Yeah you have had your run of luck in catching people lately" she smiled down to him that was interesting since normally she wasn't taller or shorter then him...they were almost eerily the same exact height. The curious eyebrow raise only served to make her need to stave off a fit of laughter.
"Don't worry Simon I just mean I'll give you a hug...or a birthday present on your birthday" she smirked slightly knowing it was soon - the seventeenth right? She thought trying to remember the exact date of today. If it was today she'd have to find something to make...maybe, oh who are you kidding she hadn't come up with anything yet...thats what you get when you are miss spontaneous Manning.

Simon considered there may or may not be be bruises for him in the future though hopefully the charms used on the ground would help prevent anything too bad. "I think I would have rathered not be successful in that feat then," he mused in half jest. The Gryffindor was kinda glad when Kyle decided to get up from her spot on his lap, though there was a sense of disappointment there as well if he could fully understand what was going on.
Simon smiled up at Kyle for a moment, accepting her offered hand and using it and his other hand to push off the ground he got to his feet. The boy soon finding himself face to face and level with his companion like he usually was, though closer then usual and the captain to an unconscious step back as he let go of her hand.
"My turn to thank you," he replied briefly brushing himself off before straightening fully once more. "Ah well those I'd accept," the captain said with a laugh. Simon had to admit it was nice to know she had remember that his birthday was around this time...just a couple of days as he realised it was so close. Two days until he was finally seventeen and a full blown adult wizard who only needed to complete school before going out into the real word. A thought that was both exciting and daunting.

Kyle smiled over to Simon as he took her hand she of course didn’t know that he had felt a slight bit of disappointment when she had stood up - but she did know that deep down in her own guy there was a part of her yelling at her for even daring to stand up. Because that part was roaring in rage right now she simply smiled, and cleared her throat for no other reason but to drown out the anxiety in her own self right now.
Wow, they were suddenly so close. A part of her loved that and another part had frozen in place unable to move - like that time she had been hit by Kurumi’s freezing charm in charms class. She didn’t remember if he had been in that class with her - no, he was. It was the Chocolate Frog wars - that had been where she had met Selina. Before she and Simon had actually officially and painfully met.
”Well, your welcome - consider it a thank you from me for catching me then” She smiled over to him. She felt relieved, glad even that she had remembered his birthday was so close looking back on the date she realized it was only two days away. What would she give him? She thought as she stood there she began playing with the hem of her shirt. The only thing the ‘fall’ had done was agitate the small rip on the back-pocket of her pants. Lucky for her all you could see was the inside of the pocket. Nothing embarrassing here. Yet - wait, no except for her.
”Aw, I’m glad you would accept those - after all I do tend to give hugs freely” She admitted almost sheepishly. Laughing a bit, she added a small comment ”Just ask Selina - I completely just walked over and gave her a big hug the other day...she was just being really nice, and deserved one” She admitted with a smile. She kept her promise - not saying that she had been a little bit sad before Kyle had hugged her - and Kyle still had no idea why.
Still, as she stood there infront of Simon even after he had backed up a little bit - and part of her was yelling he’s embarrassed don’t listen to what Sely said...don’t pay attention to any of them...all lies, lies I tell you lies. Yes, her inner self was at war. But pushing it aside she smiled. ”Oh! I never told you but I met a transfer student from Beauxbaton - Stella she’s a Ravenclaw in our year...can’t fly but she was asking if I’d help her learn how to fly - I was wondering if you could help me teach her possibly seeing as your a Quidditch Captain and everything” she smiled over to him. Her eyes showing nothing but happiness and almost a mix of hope and a small bit of a quizzical expression.

Looking away from the view, Evelyn stood up and glanced around the giant treehouse once again. Dang, it still looked the same. Was that even possible? If it was, she was beginning to wonder if that one room was still here. The one that she declared her own...by writing it all over the walls.
"Not really." she nodded, still looking down the corridor type way, not at all bothered about what Mia asked. Mostly because Evelyn didn't like to talk. She mostly listened. Well...no. She stayed silent while daydreaming about something else, but at least she didn't whine or look like she was bored. However, with the mention of Josh...all her attention was on her irritatingly nice friend. Teehee, Josh.
"Good." she smiled, crossing her arms somewhat. "Really good. Great actually." Hmmm. "Well, it's amazing really." Giggling quietly, and realizing after a moment or so what she was doing, Evelyn cleared her throat and smiled instead. "I don't remember if I thanked you or not...for persuading me to talk to him last term."
Mia was almost tempted to let out a really loooooong sigh. Evelyn was hard work. She was a nice girl, she would probably be even nicer if she could just loosen up a little. Drop a few of those walls that she had built up around her. She wondered if anyone was able to melt the ice…ahh apparently there was.
She should have known that bringing up Josh would bring a smile to her friend’s face. And was that a giggle she just heard. Mia suppressed a smile and pretended that she hadn’t heard it. Waving her hands and shaking her head, she stood up and lent against the wall. “You don’t need to thank me. I’m glad to have been able to help you out.” She had a soft spot for both Evelyn and Josh, it had been her pleasure.
" ok, I will mark my calender right now" William told Zara. William wrote in his book, Wednesday, 24th, dance with Zara.I hope I will be fine and get lots of points" Willaim said to Zara." Zara laughed along with William. And when she finally got control of herself she said, "Of course, William. I'll be looking for you as well." Then she smiled. Yup. Zara made a mental note, 'October 24, Dance with William.'
Alright, it was settled then. But just in case... "Do you have any specific place in mind where we could meet up?"

“You two have been together for a while now huh?”
Shifting her weight to her other leg, she nodded slightly at the question. Hmmm, it has been awhile. Well not officially together until a year or so ago, but they'd been together for a long time. Still remembered that day in Diagon Alley near the bookstore..."Yea, a while." she agreed quietly.
Hmmm....
She should blink...
"So, how are you and Nik? What with the whole...separated by miles and miles and miles stuff going on." Must be terrible to go through. Evelyn still didn't know how Mia did it.

"That was Amazing Kurumi and Ella" said Nessie smiling, wishing she could sing like them. She tried to think of a song that they would all know, but the only thing she could think of was happy birthday, and there was not a chance she was going to sing that. "Um... Should we maybe sing the Hogwarts song?" said Nessie thinking it was probably the only song.
Freya was wondering around the Hogwarts Grounds after the Quidditch Try Out. She was exhausted but she didn't want to go back to the common room. Not yet anyway. Treehouse sounds a great place to relax a bit. She climbed up to the giant treehouse its a little harder than she thought. She was out of breath when she finally reached the treehouse. Finally.

Ariadne tried to relax after a long week of study and homework, so she took a long walk on the grounds. The treehouse caught her attention again. She had seen it before but had never climbed up. Well, there's a first time for everything. It took all her energy to make it to the top. Once there, she noticed Freya and went straight to her.
'Hi! I was wondering when I was going to see you again.' the firstie said with a broad smile. 'You do remember me from Diagon Alley, right?' she asked, a bit worried the older girl might not recognize her. 'How was the rest of your summer?' the little one started the conversation.
" Yes and I thought I had a lot of siblings" William laughed. " More cute girls just like you, wow, there must be a lot of boys waiting in front of yoru house" Willam told Fee." Good, I was worried about us being friends" William said to Fee. " I really appreciate you being my partner in clases" William explained to Fee.
"Yeah same for me",Fee laughed. It was pretty awesome how many people had a big family.A lot of boys waiting in front of her house? That really made her giggle."Noo there arent any boys waiting in front of my house actually",the blonde laughed.Aww,he was worried about their friendship? Now that was really cute,he really didnt need to be."We'll stay friends forever",the girl nodded and hugged the firstie.

Smiling back at Conor,Fee noticed that he didnt seem to be too happy.Oh nooes, whatw as wrong? The blonde didnt liek seeing people sad.Looking at him shruggin his shoulders the third year put her arms around the older boy and squeezed him a little."Whatever it is i am sure it will sort out",she nodded. He needed to talk about some things? The Slytherin didnt know if she was the right person he would want to talk to.After all they didnt know eachother that long. But then he said something that made her smile a little."Of course you can",she said nodding,"whatever it is i am going to try to help you as much as i can."Friends were the most important thing in Fee's life and she would always be there for them.
Samira gave a shrug. "I'm in my second year, so Hogwarts isn't as awe inspiring as it was for me last term, but I'm still really happy to be back." She picked at the skin around her finger nails--a horrible habit she had to kick. Samira was about to say something else about Hogwarts when the Hufflepuff gave one, huge, almighty sneeze. Samira immediately scurried backwards to escape the disgusting germs. She looked down at her outfit that she picked out so carefully to make sure there was not first year boogies on it. To herself, she whispered, "Ew..." Samira quickly made sure to fix her dark hair, cleared her throat, and turned back to the girl. "It's fine. Um, bless you." She looked Tara over for a second before saying, "Need a tissue?"
"That's great that you're happy to be back here." Tara looked terrifyed as Samira said somthing under her breath.Tara looked at the ground hoping she would just disapear right at the second."I am so sorry.Yes, can I please have a tishue?" Tara said as a tear ran down her face. She probably wants me to leave now. What have I done? Tara thought."Are you ok?I meant to cover up the sneeze with my elbow. How are classes?" Tara said trying to change the subject. She bit her finger as she looked at the still at the floor.

The seventh year paused. Woah. He was being a super hypocrite right now. He often listened to older music but it was mostly because his mother had it playing throughout the house constantly so he had no choice but to listen. Annnd.. he did enjoy some of the older rock stuff, along with the punk and alternative music. "Ahh," he nodded understandingly. "I understand that completely. Some of the old stuff is alright."
Jayce was slightly taken aback. Why had she looked so shocked? He didn't quite understand. MAYBE SHE WAS FROM THERE! "Quite serious." Oh. She wasn't. Sadface. "What's his name? I WANNA MEET HIM." the boy grinned, overly curious as to who this kid could be. Maybe he knew him! Probably not though.. "Colorado? I can't say I've ever been there." He's never been anywhere outside of Orlando. TRUTH.
BEAAAAM.
This girl was FUUUUNNY. No joke. Maybe a bit conceited, but hell, who wasn't? Being conceited was fun. Especially when you were joking annndd.. with someone you had just met only moments before. "Without it being a lie? It's totally TRUTHFUL. "Oh? I'll have to take you up on that offer." he winked playfully. NEW FRIENDS. Even though he was leaving soon
The Gryffindor boy couldn't help but chuckle as the girl got off of him. That was.. interesting and hilarious. But he shouldn't be laughing. She fell on him and it did sort of hurt at first. But he was over it already and she vertical once more. So, he followed suit. Standing up, he brushed the little bits of dirt that had seemed to attach themselves to his shirt. "Of course not." Maybe a little.
Ohh. Right.. It would have been a good idea to introduce themselves before they fell on top of each other. "And i'm Jayce," he grinned. "Seventh year Gryffindor." BEAAAM.

Fallon looked up at the Giant Treehouse. It brought back wonderful memories of hide-n-seek. It really was the perfect place to play hide-n-seek, but that was an end of the term thing. And just wouldn't be the same without Trixie, Torin, and Oliver. Wow. She never realized how many of her friends had already graduated. She missed all of them deeply.
Fallon climbed up into the tree house in search of her favorite room, hoping it was just as she remembered. And there it was. Her room with the perfect view of the lake. She took a seat, dangling her feet over the ledge, knowing she was safe. Fallon sat her bag, equipped with school stuff and her digital camera, next to her. She just looked out over the lake, taking everything in.

Zara laughed along with William.
Zara smiled, and nodded to Ella. Turning to all of them she said, "Well, you guys pick. I have no idea with those songs. But I can keep up once you've chosen a song." Yeah, her memory skills=perfect. Sometimes. Heheh.
" Good, it will be a good time" William told Zara. No speicific place in mind for me" William said to Zara. " You should pick where because the dance is for yoru points" William explained to Zara.

" We think the same" Willaim told Fee."Well, the boys are blind, especially when it comes to the hottest blonde in Slytherin" William explained to Fee. " Friends forver, thank you and Rex will be happy, too" William said to Fee.

Ohhhh advice for second years?Mhhhh would could the Slytherin say?"!"Well dont get into much drama and have fun.",the third year said,"the room of requirements is a great place to have secret parties"The room of requriments was the place for everything actually.Hehe.Sooo many things had happened there already.Waiit,Nika only liked the green ones ´,now that was a funny coincedence."Same here",Fee giggled,"i cant stand the red ones.Only as juice."Mangos and raspberries, were her fave that wad too perfect.Just liek her, hehe.
Nika agreed with her. Even if she only knew Rex for a year it was so much nice having him around. "Yeah Willie is everywhere! She said chuckling. He really was all over the place. Oh Willie. Hehe.
"No drama and fun got it!" She said happily. That wouldn't be too hard. Well it shouldn't be too hard. She had gotten through one year drama free so hopefully it would continue that way. "Oh the room of requirement!?! What's that?" She asked dumbly. Okay so maybe she had been to Hogwarts for a year already but no one seemed to mention anything about a room of requirement. If it's a good place to have parties then Nika must find out about it! "WOW! We have the same taste in fruit!" She said laughing. Nika liked Fee she is so easy to talk to.

"How about at the, uhm, student garden?" she smiled.
Freya was catching her breath after climbing that horid ladder when she noticed someone was approching her. "Ariii!!! Of course I remember you." Its really hard to forget a cute little firstie like Ari. "I was wondering when I'm gonna see you again too." she said with a big smile. "Oh. its alright. How bout yours?" she asked.
"How do you like Hogwarts so far?" she asked a little bit curious. She hope that Ari had a great time here.

Simon nodded as Kyle accepted his thanks, pointing out they were in fact even with him catching her and her helping him up. "Then we're even," he said with a smile. He only hoped things would calm down enough with classes and such that he could actually enough his birthday. Sometimes he though Josh had it easier having a summer birthday, though at least his being during school guarenteed his friends...and some family...were always around.
"I'll certainly remember that," Simon replied with a chuckle. Not that he was the type of guy that shied away from that type of closeness. "Well Selina is rather nice in general," he mused having never really seen her get to angry at anyone. But then she was her friend and never gave her need to be anything but nice not that that meant there was a bad side of the younger girl.
"Really..." he mused listening to her story about the fellow Ravenclaw transfer student from Beauxbaxton. Remembering how Kyle had said she herself had transfered from there, Simon couldn't help but wonder for a moment if they had known each other before one and then the other came to Hogwarts. But then her words didn't seem to mesh to that thought so he pushed it aside. "I don't see what I couldn't Just need to find some spare time and not use the practice pitch."
