She didn't know how she'd do it at all, maybe a big hug? But could that get awkward from what Hannah said...a kiss on the cheek as people did in France would be way too awkward right now - or so she thought.

Seeing as his hands were full with a certain Ravenclaw Simon really couldn't grab onto something to stop his decent so he rather unceremoniously landed on his backside with Kyle on his lap. "Yeah...I'm ok. And its alright," the Gryffindor assured her even though he in truth hadn't thought it was her until they were closer. "You didn't so much shock me, I just hadn't expected to fall down myself," he said, adding a chuckle of his own at the end.

Not the most graceful of rescues.

"You're welcome," he said, raising a slight eyebrow of curiousity as she mentioned thanking him properly later. "You don't need to...tend to be in the habit of catching falling damsels lately," he mused with a smile thinking back to the incident a week or two ago on the practice pitch with Selina. That time hadn't felt so weird though.
