GAH!

In all her six years boarding the big, red train, Destiny had not once visited the food trolley. It could have been because she never really needed anything since her trunk was always stocked, but still. It should be a rule that one MUST visit the cart lady.

The woman looked like a lovely person.

So, after dumping everything except her pet rat in an empty compartment, Destiny made her way over to finally meet this lady. She had no intentions of buying anything, but once she arrived, she just couldn't resist. Plus, she had a few extra coins in her coin purse since she might have accidentally on purpose forgot to buy a few needed schoolbooks. That'll teach her mother not to tell her she couldn't get another pet again!

"Give me chocolate or give me death!"

She was dead serious.

"Of course you do!" He smiled at her again. "Come on." He held a hand out to her.

Elle thought for a moment. "I don't really have a good feeling about this term..." she tore open another box of Chocolate Frog and popped the sweet into her mouth before it hopped away. "Oh, look! I got Salazar Slytherin! At last! I've been waiting for months for this..." Pocketing her card, she beamed and said, "Now, where were we again? Oh, yes..." her smile reduced to a smirk and her shoulders drooped a little.

She cleared her throat and continued, "I'm a Third Year Slytherin, and I'm anxious about this year. I am baaad at Divinations and I dread every class. I just can't see any difference between fog and signs unlike my brother, Tristan who is pretty good at it," she folded her arms. "Mum wants me to continue the class, 'to enhance my skills' as she says, but it's the one that brings my grades down!"

Fuming a little because of Divinations, Elle extracted a piece of bean from Berty Bott's Every Flavor Bean and put it into her mouth. She chewed quickly, realizing too late that it was... vomit. Elle coughed and gagged.

"Your brother went to Hogwarts? Cool! So you must know loads of stuff about it already. I have a few chocolate frogs and some pumpkin pasties. Just get whatever you want, I'm not really hungry, I just wanted to try one of each. I also have every flavor beans if you want." Care gave her a smile and held out the items she just mentioned. It felt good to share her snacks with a school mate.

Ariana walked to the food trolley, hoping to get something good to eat, maybe a sugar quill or a couple chocolate frogs. She was also on the lookout for friendly faces... anyone she could make friends with would be awesome! She had left Nika and the others back in a compartment, and would be delighted to strike up a conversation with anyone.
She reached into her pocket to see how much money she had.

"I know some stuff." Hateya wasn't feeling brave enough for the beans, and didn't feel like catching a runaway frog, so she went for the pumpkin pasty. "He said that it's huge and I'll probably get lost my first day of class. I tried to get him to tell me about the teachers but he said they change around a lot so there was no point. What else...?"

She munched on the treat while she thought about it, "We're going to learn loads. Some of the classes are going to be really weird. In one class they ran around a maze and threw paint from their wands at each other. I want whoever taught that to do it again, it sounds like fun."

After some time of walking around, looking for the food trolley, he found it. Sighing with relief, Jai walked up to it but walked in on a girl ordering chocolate or death.

"Bad day?"he asked, stepping in line with the young lady. "Hello. I'm Jai Pierce.What's your name?"

"May we should ask the elves to teach us." Seeing how her mother couldn't cook for the life of her either, it was probably a good idea to get help from the best cooks around. "I tried to make pancakes for my boyfriend once." She gave her head a small shake. "Total disaster." And she hadn't tried it again after that.

Mina wouldn't be saying that if she had been homeschooled by Mia's father. He had really, really sucked. And just thinking of her father right now brought a small frown to her face. She had to remember that she was not happy with him right now. "Yeah Hogwarts is great. And you'll get to see all your old friends again. I bet you're excited about that."

The line began to move again and Mia tokk another couple of steps forward. "So what house are you in?"

As she was talking to Mina, Mia spotted a familiar figure just charge right up the food trolley. She might have been annoyed at the fact that the Slytherin had just pushed her way in front of everyone else but when Destiny opened her mouth, Mia burst out laughing.

"I'll give you death, if you don't get back at the end of the line and wait your turn." she said while still laughing. Well maybe not death.

Perhaps a little jinx...or two.

This made Care even more excited but also more nervous. "Won't they give us maps so we won't get lost?" She loved challenges but admits she has a very poor sense of direction. "I can't wait for classes to start! I just love learning! Yeah, I hope we do get that professor. The class sounds like a game of paintball and I bet it was loads of fun!" Then she remembered that not everyone was familiar with the muggle world so she asked, "Do you know what paintball is?"

No no no, Evelyn was not a happy Slytherin at the moment. And she could NOT believe that she was leaving Josh's side for a few minutes or so to get something to drank. Usually she never got something from the food trolley on the train ride but right now, she needed a distraction.

And a distraction she got.

Nearing the food trolley, the dark haired girl slowed down to a stop, skeptical about moving any closer. Death? Good Merlin, was that Mia who said that? Did something happen over the summer to put her in a mood- Oh. Destiny.

Meep. "Destiny isn't allowed death." she muttered as she moved closer to the girls. And that random guy nearby, whoever he was. "Or chocolate." So, why are you Miss She-Snake over here, hmmm?

"I think we should try and ask them. They always seem to want to help us if we enter the kitchen." Everytime she did attempt to bake in the kitchens a few elves would come by and offer to help. They were rather excited to lend her a hand and if they wanted to tackle those cake, they would so need the help. "I never go the hang of making pancakes. My crepes are terrible as well!" Her experiences with breakfast goods were too many to count, thus why she did try to avoid them. "I didn't know you could actually turn something that airy and delicate into a mass of burn tar." It really wasn't at all pretty.

"I'm over the moon about seeing everyone again. It's really been too long." She had run into maybe a few of them before the summer ended, but there were still a few of them she was just dying to see again. Random meetings over the past two summer didn't far well on some friendships and she did hope that her being back would help rebuild those friendships. "Hogwarts has spoiled me for any other school." Not other school could possible start to compare to how great Hogwarts is. It was just a fact that it was the best.

Following with the line, she shifted her weight slightly from foot to foot. "I'm a Ravenclaw. How about you?"
Hearing a rather familar voice, Mina looked in the direction of said voice and shook her head. Yeah, she knew that voice for sure.

"You and chocolate. I'm glad to see things never change," she laughed. Of course, Destiny would want chocolate. It was Destiny after all.

"I can't really give you either, but if you don't wait like the rest of us I'm sure some of the other students might give you death." The line really wasn't as long as it looked and one learned fast that it was unwise to come between students and their treats. The hierarchy of years held no merit in this line. The line order was the line order.

Heather was glad Arabella accepted her chocolate frog offer. She really felt she had her confidence really going on. After all, she promised Rex, she'd make and take good care of friends this year.

"So..uhm... Arabella, I-I've never really gotten to know so much about you. Would y-you like to share something about yourself?" she asked, really wanting to know more of the girl in front of her. After all, they are in the same house. So, getting to know all of them is a must.

Oh, well.

What do you know?

The trolley lady was not as lovely as she expected and she couldn't believe it. How could someone that worked around so much CHOCOLATE be in a bad mood!? It should be ILLEGAL! The woman should be thrown into Azkaban! Too bad Destiny had no authority to do so.

She'd just get Patroclus to do it. He is a Prefect and all.

Just about to go and find her the Prefect, Destiny noticed a boy walk in and.. was she having a bad day? Did she look like she was? Sure, her hair might have been just a little crazy, but that was a normal thing. "Ugh, no, my day is pretty good." And it would be better if the woman would hand over the chocolate! "Destiny Shepard."

Perhaps he had chocolate?

Maybe it would just be easier to go back to her compartment and eat the chocolate that was in her trunk already. Everyone knows that you can't get through to a troll and the trolley woman was indeed a troll.

Trolley - ey = Troll.

Simple Arithmancy right there. Too bad the Arithmancy book was one of the books Destiny had accidentally on purpose forgot to buy. She would just have to steal Evelyn's book.

Or Mia's.

Turning at the sound of her friend's voice and hearing the threat of actually KILLING her, Destiny glanced behind her only to notice the line of people waiting for the trolley woman. Ehh, she didn't care. "But Miaaaaaa! I don't want to go all the way back there. The line.. it's SO long."

She'd rather have the death!

How did she fail to realize that Mia was in line with someone?

But more importantly, how did she fail to realize that she KNEW that someone? That same someone she hadn't seen in FOREVER! "MINA!" What was she doing here? "What are you doing here? Are you here to take revenge on that grasshopper cloud?" That mean grasshopper cloud that knocked the poor turtle cloud onto it's back.

Destiny wanted in on this revenge! And she still wasn't moving to the back of the line.

Unless of course, Evelyn told her to get to the back of the line. Everyone knew that she could be pretty scary sometimes. And see? She wasn't going to let anyone kill her anyway, so she could just move on up to the front of the line.

Or not.

"WHAT!?" Who said she wasn't allowed to have chocolate? Sure, after the whole hair turning into chocolate incident at the end of term feast, Destiny might have said she wouldn't go near the stuff anymore, but not allowed to have it, that was just ridiculous. "You can leave if you don't like it, you know. I was here first."

Nessie walked to the line of the trolley waited then asked"May I please have 10 chocolate frogs, 2 Cauldron cakes, 7 Bubblegums and one packet of Bertie Beans Please?". Nessie hoped no one would notice how much food she got it wasn't really all for her it was also for who ever wanted back in the compartment. She took her stuff payed and rushed back to the compartment and on the she slipped and everything fell. How embarresing? Thought Nessie.

'Erm, hello! Please can I have a bag of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans?' Georgie Axell asked nervesoully.

" Hi, my name is William Montcenaggio but call me william Starr" he introduced himself to the girl. " You look very nice" William said to the girl. "What type of food do you like in this car?" William asked her. " By the way, you are pretty" William smiled kind of sheepishly.

" Good, glad you have eyes for only one girl" William told Connor. " You know I am a quarter Veela so I have to work a little harder" William said to Connor. " How will I ever know if I ever find the right girl?" Willliam asked Connor.

" Those are good choices" William told the girl. " Your hair is very pretty" Willima said to the girl. " My name is William Montcenaggio but please call me William Starr" he introduced himself to her.

" What are you going to order?" William asked the girl. " My name is William Starr" he introduced himself to her. " You are cute" William said to the girl." Is this your first year too ?' William asked her.

" I coud buy you some candy" William told the girl. "What would you like to rat?" William asked the girl. " My name is William Montcenaggio aka Starr" he introduced himself to the girl. " I bet you are a very sweet girl" William said to the girl. " I think you are pretty" William smiled.

Ariadne made her way towards the lady with the food trolley. There was already a considerable queue in front of her, so she couldn't do anything but wait. It was very foolish not to pack any food, she thought. Although it was just a train ride, it basically took the whole day to travel from London to Scotland, so she was bound to be hungry.

Oh well. At least she was about to get some sweets. Maybe buy something for Melina and Mordred too, since they had been so nice as to share their food with her. When her turn came, she asked for Chocolate Frogs, her favourites.

"Nice to meet you Destiny."he replied. He turned to the lady and asked for chocolate frogs."By the way chocolate is always the better choice. Death isn't as sweet." He stood there waiting with his hands in the pockets of his Letterman's jacket. It was his favourite. He'd got it from one of his Durmstrang friends as a parting gift. Black and light and enchanted. It could adjust itself to the appropriate temperature based on the weather. He really liked it. The girl spoke with her friends and he just waited for his chocolate frogs.

"I know" she said softly with a sigh as she chewed on one of the gummy things she'd bought thoughtfully. "Actually- you could probably say it changed my Mother" she said with a little grin at Connor.

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Well i live with in Wiltshire with my parents and i am an only child so i would say that my mum spoils me a lot and well i love qudditch a lot i am hoping to make the house team this year" Arabella-Marie was hoping that was what Heather was looking for

Funny how Mia's common room was right next to the kitchens and she had only been in there twice. She figured that since she couldn't cook that it was best to stay away from the place in case she burnt it down or something. "That sounds like a plan. We'll have to organise some time in the kitchens." Merlin! This should be interesting seeing how the both of them had no idea how to cook.

Mia didn't know what she would do if she never got see the friends she had made at Hogwarts ever again. Her friends are what got her through the year when she couldn't see Nik.

Another Ravenclaw! It seemed her friends were either Ravvies or Slythies. Not sure what that meant but whatever. "I'm in Hufflepuff."

And now Evelyn had joined them. When the girl spoke, Mia looked from her to Destiny and then back again. She knew that Evelyn was probably looking out for her friend but she really, she was fighting a losing battle. Destiny ALWAYS had chocolate on her. And if she didn't have some on her body, she had it hidden somewhere.

"You know not even an army of trolls would be able to stop Destiny from getting to some chocolate." she said looking at Evelyn with a grin on her face.

And it probably didn't help that Mia's hand was already in her pocket and her fingers were curling around the chocolate frog that was nestled within its depths.

Mia almost burst out laughing again at the whiny tone in her friend's voice. The girl really would face down an army of trolls or as of this moment a few angry students who will unlikely be impressed that she had just pushed in.

Pulling her hand out of her pocket, the chocolate frog dangled in her fingers and she waved it a little at Destiny. "Something to tide you over while you are waiting to be served."

And to save her from death.




Looking between Mina and Destiny, Mia raised her eyebrows a little. "Seems you already know each other. Guess I don't need to introduce you."

Did she know Evelyn?

Maybe introductions still had to be made.

"Really?Did you try out last year? I hope you make it." Heather said. "I bet you're really good at flying..." she paused for awhile, opening a chocolate frog and eating it. "If you make it to the team this year, I'll be sure to be in the stands, cheering for you.I'll try to cheer as loud as i can."

Arabella-Marie nodded at Heather and said "Yeah i did tryout last year i didn't make the team and thanks and yeah i am good at flying and that would cool if you would be cheering me on i just need to wait and see if i make the team or not"

"Sure. I will." Heather said. She'd like to help out a friend and be with them as much as possible. If being there to cheer on Arabella on her tryouts, she knows it will, one way or another, help.

"Oh, i haven't told you about myself. It seems unfair that you told me, but i haven't." she said.

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Well why don't you tell me a bit about yourself then Heather"
