Ah, the food trolley, her parents had told her so much about it... In front of her was a thin, pale witch who was buying some Chocolate Frogs. Feeling courageous, she decided to initiate some kind of conversation "D'you collect Chocolate Frog cards?" She asked. Serena had started and forgotten about them. She had Harry Potter, Merlin and Agrippa and some others she couldn't remember.

Daichi was relieved when the girl laughed instead of became angry. He shook his head no when the girl offered that he could get in front of her. "No, no i'll wait, you were here first" he said with a smile and waited while looking at the trolley. He looked back at the girl when she started to introduce herself. "Nice to meet you ... i'll call you Zara! it sounds cool!" He said with a twinkle in his eyes. "I'm Daichi Katharos , are you a first year too? you look young" He really hoped the girl was one because he hadn't met a first year yet. All of the people he had met where fourth years and up.

Then the lady from the trolley got her attention, and Zara turned to the lady. "Anything from the trolley, dear?" The lady asked.

"Yes, please. I'd like to get two of these Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, one Chocolate Frog, and three Cauldron Cakes please." Zara blushed. She hoped the lady and Daichi didn't think that she would eat all of those. Her friends also wanted something off the trolley and she was doing them a favor and bought them some food. The only thing Zara was gonna eat there is one Cauldron Cake and to get rid of motion sickness, she'd go and chew the gum.

Zara got the food and paid for them to the lady. Then she stepped aside for Daichi to order next. It was plain on Zara's face that she was really embarrassed. She'd have to explain later that they were for her friends.

Eyes widened, Aiden is astounded that someone actually hexed the Cauldron Cakes into a snake. She giggles for a while and apologises. "Sorry about that. Your sister is quite a prankster, isn't she?"

"Gryffindor sounds like a good house" Daichi smiled. "My grandfather was a Gryffindor" He listened at Zara's story. How she was scared her family would be ashamed of her if she didn't get in to Gryffindor. It made him feel.. he didn't know, a little mad. "Hmpf, If i were in your family i wouldn't care which house you were in! Aslong as you were happy in that house~" He gave the young girl a big smile and his eyes twinkled when she said that Slytherin wouldn't be a bad house either. No it wouldn't hehe.

"I heard that the classes are mixed, so students from every house gets in the same class! , we should partner up sometimes" he added shyly. Daichi waited as the food trolley lady had passed the other students and had now made her way towards them. He watched as Zara went first and the more she said the higher his right eyebrow went up. "Someone's hungry" he teased her with a smirk while pointing at the food and his stomach started to growl again.

When it was Daichi's turn, he looked at the trolley while thinking hard. He couldn't buy alot but..he was hungry! .. "I want a berty botts every flavour beans, chocolate frogs, ice mice, liquirice wands, sugar quills , cauldron cakes aaaaaand..." Daichi looked at the trolley , looking for something else.. "oooh the bubblegum looks good too~!" . He paid for the food and walked to Zara with his hands full of candy, a grin on his face as he stood beside her.

Aiden pretty much understands why Serena's parents don't trust the ministry. Thinking there are other people who shares the same philosophy as her own parents, Aiden, too, could not trust the Ministry.

Serena rolled her eyes "My family is messed up. To cut it short, my Mum's an adopted Muggle-Born whilst my Dad's from one of those old pure-blood families. They were quite high up in the ministry and gave 'donations' a lot. My parents don't really like the ministry much 'cause of that. My Mum's a Healer and my Dad works in a business he invented, selling off Muggle stuff or something."

"Aww, that's nice of you. I'm sure I'd be happy in any house, as long as I have friends there." Zara smiled at Daichi. Surely, he was one of the friends whom she hoped would be in the same house with.

"That's great! Yeah, we should partner up." She beamed at Daichi's suggestion. It was really nice to know someone who was so approachable and kind. Then after Zara had bought the food, he said, "Someone's hungry."

Zara blushed, and waited until he finished buying his food to explain why. But, hearing and seeing how much food he bought himself, Zara's eyes widened. Then she smirked and told him after he was done, "These, mister, for your information, are for my friends. The only thing I'm gonna eat here is one cauldron cake and the gum to chew on the way." Zara flashed her tongue out to him.

"Hmm. Look who's hungry." She said as she pointed out to the food on Daichi's hands.

Connor smiled as he hugged her, reaching around her to break off a piece of pumpkin pasty and eating it. It was her fault for having his favorite snack in her hand. He straightened himself and smiled brilliantly "it's nice to meet you Miss Orabelle." He held out his hand for her to shake. He hugged Dani with one arm.

HUNGER HAD STRUCK AGAIN.

But there was a queue. Which sucked big time. Feeling a bit like a lemming in the way that he was standing back from the trolley, Theo stood right up on his tip-toes to look over the person in front of him's head. Ooh. Yummy food looked yummy. But it was still so far awayy. He'd been sulking for most of the journey, but now it was his biggest sulk moment. Stepping back for a second to let some people walk through the carriage, he gave a quick look out of the window. It was still pretty exciting being on a train. It rumbled exactly like he thought it would.

But he was still without Koyki, which was a big bummer. She was a very pretty snake and it was unfair that his mum had stolen her so that he couldn't take her to Hogwarts. UNFAIR MOTHER WAS UNFAIR.

Hearing her stomach growl, she knew she had made a mistake when skipping breakfast that morning. Her mother had been yelling about being late; not Adelyn being late for the train, no, that would mean her mum cared. No, her mother was worried about being late for a very important meeting.

There was always a queue for the food. Always. The boy in front of her was taller than her, standing on his toes to see over the people. Adelyn attempted to do the same, but didn't have much luck. She crossed her arms in front of her chest, and sighed. She did not have much patience today. Maybe she could just ask the taller boy; he was sulking now anyway. No harm in trying, right?

"You wouldn't happen to know how much longer we'll have to wait, would you? I'm starving." Adelyn asked, hoping the boy knew she was addressing him.
