AHH. She was giving him ATTITUDE. It looked like she was going to "I'm Jamie..." he began, "sorry, again. I hope I didn't hurt you. I didn't, did I?" He questioned nervously. It was unlikely, though. He was the one who fell to the floor, whilst she still stood there. GOSH, he was awful at this socializing lark. >_< |

"Hey, don't worry about it. I thought this place looked a bit...creepy when I first got here." said Savannah when the girl looked a little worried. Which was true, but she got use to it after a while. 'I'm Savannah by the way." Savvy introduced herself. Boy, she was always bad at this. "Uhhh..." Oh right! Let the other girl introduce herself and lets get talking! Quote:
But Savvy couldn't help laughing when the boy wiggled his fingured like a spider. |

"Macy," she answered plainly. "No, you didn't. I'm fine." Well, at least he had the good manners to ask if the delicate female he'd just bombarded was in a right state of mind. Or at least something along those lines. In any case, she was now stuck associating with the short dude that seemed to deem running into girls appropriate. And as it was, she had no current affiliations with anybody at this school that didn't hate her guts. *SIGH* Time to make some friends. Turning back to the chair, Macy took a seat and crossed one leg over the other. "So. Jamie." Gosh that was an awful way to start a conversation. >_< "Do you run into people all the time, or is it just me?" At that, she had to smirk. Hey, maybe if she was lucky she could turn this kid into her evil minion or something. LOL. Yes. She needed a squad of evil minions. Evil minions with code names. |

:3 "Nice to meet chu, Macy." Well, he hoped it was nice to meet her. She still had to prove herself! Ohhh, good, she was okay. Jamie didn't fancy getting put into detention or something for harming another student. He had heard a lot about the Slytherin head of house, and was kind of terrified! The QUEEN of the SLY and CUNNING. D: "Oh, not at all. I bump into people alllll the time." Aside from the pain of colliding with people, it wasn't so bad. If the person was nice, Jamie occasionally got to make a friend out of it. Was it going to be the same with Macy? He was still debating that. "It's the height issue... and I'm clumsy. I actually hit my head earlier which is why I freaked so much just then." Maybe a trip to the Hospital Wing was in order! NO! Jamie wasn't a wimp. "How old are you then, Macy?" He was curious. If she was younger then he would feel a lot more comfortable. |

Ooooof course he was constantly bumping into people. "Ah," was the only comment she had to make. Granted, the height thing at least was a decent reason. She herself was on the slightly taller side, so really she just had the issue of always towering over people. Though some of these people did seem to be of large length. O.o So it was normal for him to hit his head on things as well? Huh. Seemed like more of a tall person issue, considering she'd done it plenty of times herself. "I'm fourteen," Macy answered. Newly turned fourteen actually, but that wasn't exactly relevant the current conversation. "And you?" Ahahaha. See, this was where she won. The way it worked was that if somebody else got to ask a question then so did she. Which was a concept some people had trouble understanding. |

And besides.. they had this hairbrush issue to deal with! Quote:
Macnair breathed a small sigh of relief when someone else offered to take the reins and deal with the birdsnest hair. "Go for it," he said quickly, not hesitating in the slightest when she moved to take the brush. She could have it! Quote:

DARN IT. Fourteen. She won in the secret age war that was going through his head. Perhaps he could lie about his age but he was too scared! "Thirteen." He muttered quietly. WHY did he feel like he was doing all the talking and Macy was giving him very short answers? It made him think that she really didn't want to be there. With him. In this dingy common room. "Are yooou, umm... new here?" He asked, running out of possible conversation starters. All of a sudden, his eyes squinted. A headache had just hit him like a bus. |
Quote:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He was thirteen. Heh. That probably explained the shortness... No actually, it didn't- he was just short in general. The look on his face when he saw she was a year older than him was priceless though. Heh. Win. Masking her amusement, she listened as her asked if she was new. Macy nodded. "I transferred from Beauxbatons this year. Glad I did too." The people here didn't tease nearly as much, and at least half of them were just as, if not more odd than herself. Leaning back into her chair, the fourteen year old did a quick once-over of the common room before continuing on. "So where do you fit in this great food chain of life?" Odd question? Maybe, but she was notorious for odd questions. And she really wanted to know. Obviously, he was no self-absorbed air head. However, a person's social status was sometimes a large part of who they were... But then again, sometimes it wasn't. |

"There you go, piece of cake. No need for drastic action!" She grinned. "I hope that didn't hurt." she said to the girl, handing her brush back. "How did that happen?" |

Lila sat down in one of the armchairs in the common room. She had had a long, tiresome, but ultimately boring day, and she was in the mood to just take a break for the rest of the night. Dropping her bag to the side of her chair with a thud she pulled out a copy of a book that she had bought in a muggle shop a week before she had came to Hogwarts. Her father had never approved of her reading muggle books, he said it showed fondness for those below them, but Lila didn't care. She found the fantasy book riveting, even though she was practically living in a fantasy world herself. Sighing contently Lila flipped open The Lord Of The Rings and began to read. |

:O No, actually... she was trying to hide it but Jamie was no fool. Clumsy, but no idiot! The third year scowled slightly but didn't comment. The girl was older than him after all. Meaning she could pin him to the floor at any given opportunity. Oooh, Beauxbatons. Didn't they like... speak French and stuff? "Are you French, then?" She didn't sound French, but maybe she knew it... "Don't blame ya. Hogwarts is amazing. If it wasn't a school, it would be a museum, don't you think?" Or just a pretty castle to get loads of tourists to go to. Jamie, himself, would go! Where was he on the food chain of life? What an odd thing to ask...Jamie scratched his head but had a go at answering, "Errr, I think I'm at the top... 'cause... no one's trying to eat me." Unless he had an encounter with something that ate humans. The boy stared blankly at Macy.... "I actually have no idea what you are talking about." Was this GIRL language? Or FOURTH YEAR language? Maybe she wanted to eat him. o__________O That thought came out of the blue. How bloody ridiculous. Jamie could kick himself. |

A kleptomaniac ferret with a disregard for self-hygiene. That was obviously why she keeps him. "Sir Robin. That's a very... interesting name for a ferret." Yes. She wasn't going to comment about the nature of the ferret... Each to their own, her mum always says. He can be a dirty klepto if he wants to be... |
*pokes Slythies* The feast had ended. Lola, after making that heroic attempt to save herself and faceplanting into a bowl of mashed potatoes, she had finally gotten up--thankfully, many people had already left and she managed her best to wipe the food off her face. BLEH. But she wanted to be in disguise--DISGUISE, I TELL YOU--and she swiftly followed the other Slytherin green people down towards the common room (the moving staircases were a magical experience) and she zoomed throughout the dungeons. ZOOOOOOMED. Why was it SUCH a scary place??! It was dark. It was damp. It was like the recreation of a horror movie itself, and yes, her neck was cramped and sore from turning her head every few seconds in case a serial killer had suddenly popped up for her. But no no, she wasn't dead, yet. Lola Jones entered the Common Room, with bits of mashed potatoes left on her face, clutching a messy, ruined green wig on her right hand and then staring out into space. She was back-in-character. Awweyeaaaaaaah. "HI GUYS. LET'S BE FRIENDS," she announced in a robotic voice, creepily staring out at the ceiling, ...quuuuite distracted. Hehe. CEILINGS. |

"The... uhh... pleasure's mine Caroline. And thanks," the girl added. The British way of speaking was something she was gonna master. It was official. "Oh really? I've never actually been that far east," she admitted a little guilty. Heh oops. "Was it amazing?" Cause she heard it was. |

.__. But seriously. Macy arched an eyebrow before flinging her head back dramatically and flopping back on the seat. She rolled her eyes. Gosh. NO, SHE WAS NOT FRENCH. "No. I'm not," she said placidly, returning to a somewhat normal position. "And I don't speak it well either. I live in Leeds." D: WHYY, had she TOLD him that?! Gah! *facepalm* Hmm, Hogwarts as a museum. She wasn't entirely sure it fit. Sure it was old and historic and junk, but it was also suited to be lived in by people. Huh. She shrugged, unsure. BAHAHAHAHAHA!! *more laughter* He was at the top because he wasn't getting eaten! Ahahahahaha!! Ooooh goodness, that was rich. This kid really was too funny. But- ... :O he didn't know what the food chain was? That had to be like, a crime against nature. Macy sighed, shaking her head. "The food chain- or web, whichever is preferred- is an intertwining social cycle, involving all those present. You have your basic geeks- not to be confused with the nerds, who are actually stylish people pretending to be geeks. Your quidditch jocks, your muggles sports jocks, the glamour queens, the preppy kids, the rich kids, the freaks, etc. etc." All of this was explained taking few to no breaths, only pausing for dramatic affect and when she actually needed air. c; She was good at holding her breath. "Clear enough?" it had better be, considering she hadn't gone all out on an explanation just to find out that this kid was an idiot and had no idea what she'd just said. |

Uhh names, names, names. "Nice to meet you," she smiled, "I'm Helena." But then... 'uhh' what? Ah, it didn't matter. "In what year are you?" Helena's lips moved, before she could think twice. But she was just curious. "I... haven't seen you around much." Quote:

What the heck?! It was a girl with green hair in her hand...eww, who'd she pull that off from. And, her face...it reminded Peyton of her baby cousing after it ate. OOOHHH! She wanted to be friends? Well, the messy face didn't matter to Peyton anymore nor did the green hair...nor did the creepy expression on the girl's face. *Shudder* "I'll be your friend," she said, raising her hand like if she was in class. "And...um...you got something..." she pointed at her own face signaling where the mashed potatoes were on the other girl's face. "Here," she said, handing her a hankerchief. Now...wipe that creepy look of your face, too. Quote:
Giggle. What was Iris doing with Emma's hair? It was like if she was looking for something through all that blonde hair. "I think Iris likes your hair," she said, trying to hide her giggling by covering her mouth with her hands. She had to find those extra eyes... What if this blonde girl didn't have extra eyes? What if someone else did? Hmm, Iris needed to go investigate other people's heads. BUT! This girl's blonde hair was so COMFY and she didn't want to let go. Instead, the gecko snuggled with the girl's hair and made a happy hissing sound. HIIISSSSS! |
