Tyler looked up at her... He wasn't that stupid, he could tell she was lying, she couldn't have made it more obvious. He didn't know why she needed to lie, he wouldn't care no matter what she told him.

Too. Many. Questions. Tyler was already confused, couldn't she just realize he didn't have an answer, he didn't want to, he wasn't one for making bad things happen and he had the feeling no matter what he replied with something bad would happen.

"What's with the questions? Can't you just except I don''t know? You just randomly tell me this and I don't even know" he stopped and covered his face with his hands. The truth was he knew. He knew the answer he just didn't wan't to say. Why were things so complicated?

"I..." he began, making a gap between his fingers so he could look out to Nessie with her seeing him. No, he couldn't say it, it just wasn't happening.

Oh the joy... It was Rose herself. This was probably the right time for the trouble to start. "Hello" he mumbled through his fingers. Rose looked so happy, it was difficult for him to imagine how angry she'd be once she found out. There was no stopping it, secrets were always revealed in the end.

"Confused doesn't even cover it" he said, pulling his hands from his face. "Why would we row?" he asked. "We're perfectly good friends again" he replied, wondering whether he should answer her last question. What did they say to each other? That was another story. "You know, the usual" he lied.

It took Kurumi a few moments to realize that she had done what she had done, but Conan did deserve a proper hug given the circumstances. He WAS offering her the chance to fulfill some of her childhood dreams after all. Not to mention that he was offering to show her around in a country that was completely foreign to her. That was offering a lot.

"That's good to know," she smiled, releasing him from the hug. "I might not like Aladdin anymore if he laughed at me." She giggled just a bit, but it was long enough that she, unfortunately, missed Conan's comment about her dancing with him.

She DID notice that he was a little red though. "Are you feeling alright?" she asked, taking the opportunity to put her hand on his forehead to check for a fever.

Janice, actually, felt fine with babysitting her brother, since she is rather close to him, like a friend, not siblings.

Come over and stay, with a friend? She thought. Her eyes widened. She has never been asked to stay over, except by Janet. That would be nice!
"Sure! But I'll have to ask my parents first. I'll send you an owl! This is going to be fun, meeting friends!"

Conan smiled, "I promise he won't laugh at you." He was in shock at the fact that she had hugged him. A girl had never properly hugged him. He had always hugged them. He was happy it had happened though.

He nodded. "Yep," he squeaked. He was feeling ok. Rather happier than normal, but ok. Definitely healthy. Did he not look good then? Oh no he felt embarrassed now. Looking sickly was not a good look when a pretty girl was in the area.

It has been their family’s tradition to bring home presents for friends when they travel. Not that Mordred was obliged to buy one, but Aurora was (after all) one of his few first friends in Hogwarts. It will be embarrassing to not buy her a present.

“Er. I can’t even imagine myself sunshiny.” It really was a funny picture. Aurora laughed so hard at the thought, even Mordred can’t stop himself from laughing. “I’ll be a terrible looking yellow flower. It’s just sad.” He said in between laughs.

Mordred looked at Aurora in disbelief. “Of course you girls like dress robes. Puffy. glittery, shiny dress robes.” He said shaking his head. “Don’t you ever get tired of choosing which to wear? Mum does that a lot. She’d try something on, takes it off, and tries another….and that goes on for hours.” Mordred said with exasperation. “Good thing Twilfit’s got great couches. Mum always catches us dozing off.” He said, dreading that he might go back there soon. If there will be a ball next year, he was sure his mother would drag him to that store and make him try half of its contents.

Mordred nodded in agreement to Aurora’s proposal, although he was almost sure she’d get herself a date. Sure, he can fly solo – but if everyone’s getting a date, he doesn’t want to be left behind. “So am I interesting?” he challenged her. But Aurora was right. He shouldn’t give up easily, especially on himself. Confidence? He is a confident young boy—but not with the girls. There’s just something about them that he’s scared of.

“You mean to say that Wurzburg is their local version of Hogsmeade? Or Diagon Alley? If so, I’d like to visit it next.” Why did he not think of that earlier? Germany sounds interesting, and he knew Durmstrang’s near that country.

Kurumi nodded shyly. Conan hadn't seen her dance, obviously. Josh had tried to teach her, as had Lucas, but she had stepped on a few toes in the process. Sure, she could transfigure a piece of trash into a small piano, but she couldn't put one foot in front of the other to dance. Go figure.

"You just looked a little red," she explained returning to her seat across from him. Kurumi looked out the window, expecting to see country side, but spurts of civilization were beginning to peek in here and there.

"Oh, we must be getting close!" she chirped as she leaned her elbows on the windowpane.

Aurora calmed herself from the laughter, "Yeah, you'd probably be a wilting Draconia if you had to be a flower." Though she couldn't imagine him ever agreeing to that.

"Eurgh, puffy and glittery? I think not. Green and sophisticated. I do like shopping..." Who didn't? "But more for ingredients and books and music. Clothes bore me." she said. Sure, they were a necessity and helped distinguish oneself from everyone but she didn't get why people had to spend so long looking for them. She lived by the motto: If you like it and it suits you then buy it and wear it.

Aurora sighed, "Of course you are. Everyone's interesting and you have to admit it; you're not, you know, normal... I guess neither of us are." she grinned.

Scratching her nose, Aurora said, "Well, it's more like Diagon Alley. There's one street - Mystisch Strasse - otherwise it's a completely muggle place. We have a house there, you should come and visit next time we're over. It's pretty cool, there's an awesome castle." Yup. A really awesome castle.

Ness watched him as he spoke. So he wasn't going to give her answer. Well thats what it seemed. This was going to drive her insane, if she didn't find out the answer soon. Why didn't he trust her? On the one hand she didn't blame him for not telling her. He could have been scared she'd tell Rose, but she wouldn't do that to him or at least she wouldn't do it to herself. She really didn't mean to tell him but it slipped out. In a way she hopped she messed things up for them but that was kinda mean to wish for. She watched Tyler as he covered his face with his hands. She was probably stressing him, but she just needed not wanted to know.


He began to start talking slowly. Nessie immidiately listened with ears blocking every other sound out. Then he stopped. She was starting to get a little frustrated. Couldn't he just spit it out? Just as she was about to encourage him to go on, she heard a familiar voice.

It was Rose and of course she had to be here right this second. Why? As Rose got closer Nessie's heart beated faster and faster. She watched her as she walked in and greeted Tyler. Ness then listened as Rose and Tyler spoke a little meanwhile thinking if she should answer Rose. She was thinkng of leaving to let the two love birds have a little chat. She just hoped Tyler would have replied no to her question, but she doubted it seeing as how hard it was for him to even answer in the first place.

Nessie looked at Rose and then at Tyler again deciding what to do. She was glad Tyler thought they were friends again, but Ness wasn't too sure if she just wanted to be friends. "Im fine." she said to Rose lying a little. It would only hurt her more if she just stood and watched. "I was just leaving." She then turned around again and headed for the door trying to keep the tears for rather later then now.

Penny smiled when she saw the delight on Janice's face..."Yeah of course you must ask your parents".... then Penny had the most brilliant idea..

Thinking that Janice would probably be staying over when she went on her Ministry tour..

"Janice, you know how I won the trip to the Ministry?...How would you like to come along too - I'll owl Headmaster Tate and check it's ok to bring a friend".

This was going to be an awesome summer :D

Conan followed her eyes to outside the window, "That means nearly home time." He was excited to be getting on his plane tomorrow to leave this cold country. "Are you excited to be going home?"

"Ummm do you have a phone number? Cos I can call you from home, if you want," he smiled. Well when the timing was right. Since she would be like 20 million hours ahead of him. "Cos I don't have an owl." And he probably would never have one.

"Yeah..." she said quietly. She was excited to go home, see her brothers, parents, and their shiba dog Hikari, but she wasn't nearly as excited as the tone Conan implied. Then again, he should be, he lived in the happiest place on earth! "Yes and no," she said honestly. "Hogwarts is like home to me. It's the first place I have ever had friends, so it is hard leaving it."

Kurumi reached into her pockets for a small piece of parchment and retrieved a pencil from another. She then wrote down her home phone number and handed it to him. "Here," she smiled. "I won't be here for long though, but if you call, one of my brothers will probably answer and they will be able to get a hold of me."

" Thanks. I like having more friends" Willaim told Janice. "Actually, my cousin Rex is her best friend, he has grduated, and he calls her" Glitter Girl" William said to Janice, " I am her friend, too" William smiled. " Seems like you will have a busy summer babysitting" Willaim explained to Janice.

" Yes, I will meet you, Janice and Ness there" Willaim told Penny. " Hopefully you all will be able to meet Witsy" William said to Penny.

Conan nodded. He understood what she meant. "I don't really belong at Hogwarts." He had friends. Sure. But he didn't feel a connection to the place. He didn't learn their form of magic. He didn't want to. "You are all so magical. And I am a muggle." Yeah cos that totally made sense. When he mentioned it to Treyen he got angry, so he never could.

He beamed at her, "Thank you." He put the number in his pocket. Yay. "You are in New York?" He remembered that she said that, when he offered her to stay at his. "I can give you my number for when you are in New York if you want?" Then he would have her New York number and he could call her. She would be much closer there.

Kurumi's jaw dropped again, perhaps resembling a fish trying to breath outside of water. "How could you say you don't belong at Hogwarts?" she exclaimed. "Just because you come from a non-magical upbringing doesn't mean you belong any less than those of us who came from pure or mixed blood families." Kurumi giggled just a little. "To be honest, I think that muggleborns are almost more magical than those who are pureblood." After all, it was an unexplained phenomena how nonmagical people gained magical abilities. "I used to think I didn't belong either you know."

She smiled and nodded. "That would be very helpful." Phones in America worked the same as they did in Japan, right?

Penny smiled as William talked to Janice..."that would be cool", Penny told William...

"What is Witsy like?", she asked William.

Tyler looked from Nessie to Rose, this was weird. "Dum dum dum" he mumbled watching the two as they had their little 'conversation' although it was hardly a conversation. he got the feeling Nessie was mad at Rose, but he guessed it was just because she had interrupted what he was going to or more trying to say.

He stared over at Nessie, fine? She didn't look or sound fine, he wondered why. He hadn't done anything wrong, he didn't think Rose had done anything wrong so why did she have to lie? Girls had to be so confusing.

"Don't lie, you weren't just leaving" he said, and without thinking he grabbed hold of her hand pulling her away from the door again. "Ow" he mumbled. Not a great thing to do with a cut finger, he quickly let go waving his hand about hoping the minor pain would disappear.

Conan frowned, "Well I just don't feel it. I only have Treyen and Ellie and you as friends. I feel I have more enemies. Like Eino and Sierra. I don't even know what I have done to Eino. When I first met him he told me my Mom was being eaten by pogrebins. I don't even know what they are." Stones apparently. But she thought he was more magical, because he was muggle.

He chuckled, "Yeah it would. You don't have to call me though." He didn't want to force her to. But he would love to hear her voice over the summer. It was like 2 months without seeing or hearing from her. He couldn't stand it. He would be spending more time with her next year. He found a scrap of paper in his pocket and scribbled his number on it. He also wrote down his mobile number for her. "The top one is my home number. And the bottom one, is my personal cell phone." He beamed. That reminded him that he needed to text his father. Oh well it could wait til he got to London.

Why did Tyler have to mention she was lying. She decided to ignore him and walked in anycase. It wasn't like he could really stop her could he? She just couldn't get why he wanted her to stay, did he want to be more hurt having to watch. If only he could read her mind, without her knowing. Then he wouldn't have to keep on doing the wrong sort of things.

Ness tried to walk another step, but she felt a hand pull her back. She turned around and saw Tyler waving his hand crazily. Was he trying to say goodbye? No. Then Nessie realised it must have been the hand with the cut, as Puffles straight away zoomed behind her long red her, so he couldn't see. "Is your finger alright?" she asked. Every second she was there standing with Tyler and Rose was starting to make her hurt more and more. She couldn't stay she would end up in tears. Or at least she thought she would.

"Well I think I should get going." she rephrased her previous statement, now Tyler couldn't say she was lying. If Tyler wanted to talk to Ness, she was only prepared to talk alone at the moment. She couldn't exactly talk around people especially not Rose. If he had something to say, then why didn't he say so. It was pointless to just stay here for nothing.She started turning around again.

Selina turned over the locked in the palm of her hand. As he spoke to her she looked up to him and smiled. She knew that the compartment was slightly cramped as it is but she wanted to desperately reach over and give him a hug. So, to the best of her ability she leaned over and gave him a hug. She held onto him for a moment before plopping back down in her seat, "Thanks for believing in me Simon." He really had no idea what that meant to her. She was never really quite sure what would become of Quidditch for herself, but Simon believed in her and that made everything just a little bit better.



Selina couldn't help but chuckle at Kurumi's groan, "Why Miss Hollingberry are you actually becoming a fan of Quidditch. Eh gasp, what will I tell the house elves? They'll be distraught."

Her chuckle continued as Kurumi started to defend the books' honor, as if they were in danger in the first place. "I was just saying that books are wrinkly, not that they are bad. But come on Kurumi how old are some of those books in the library? I mean honestly they'd have to be wrinkly."

"It's fine, always fine, never not fine" he replied, bringing his hand to a stand still as he re examined his finger, why did he have to have such an annoying owl? It wasn't even a large cut but it still hurt like one. He noticed the pygmy puff freak out again "sorry" he mumbled, as he nodded towards the now hidden ball of fluff.

"Why are you being like this?" Tyler sighed as she went to leave again. As soon as Rose got here he'd noticed a complete change in Nessie's behavior. "Have you two had an argument or something?" he asked, looking at the two of them. That could be the only explanation.

Rose watched the two. 'I haven't had an arguement with Nessie!' Rose said confused. 'Will someone explain what's going on here!?' Rose asked getting frustrated. It was as if she'd walked in on a bad moment!

No argument? Then that didn't explain Nessie's mood, he thought for a moment, Nessie wouldn't lie if she didn't have a good reason for it, so why was she being the way she was? Everything was too confusing.

Tyler laughed at her question, he couldn't help himself. Explain what was going on here? if he said a word Nessie and Rose would be killing each other, literally, he could even picture it and he'd be standing in the middle of it all trying to stop the madness. "You wouldn't want to know" Tyler said quietly.

"Well good then." said Nessie looking at Tyler finger again. It did look like only a small cut but knowing herself sometimes the smallest cuts were the worst. She noticed he said sorry to Puffles. She was kind of happy in a way, that Tyler didn't ignore her pygmy puff because Puffles was like one of her best friends. She felt Puffles shake up and down on her shoulder, he was probably trying to nod.

She turned around once again, hoping he wouldn't carry on doing this it was starting to annoy her. "Being like what?"She asked a little confused All she wanted to do was leave and why was that so bad. He probably could sense that Nessie wasn't too happy Rose came in but it wasn't because she hated Rose it was more because she was starting to think of Rose as competition.

Obviously he would have thought that, boys never really did understood how girls worked. "No why would we have an argument?"She asked. She would have left again but for some reason Tyler really wanted her to stay. She decided if things at any point started getting bad she'd leave. "Anyway, why do you want me to stay so bad?" She wanted to at least know why.

Rose wanted to know what happend. Not a chance Ness was going to tell her, well not right now maybe later if she was able to. She looked at Rose again thinking of what to say to her. "Nothing really, I just um.. managed to apologize to Tyler" said Ness at least what she said was true, but she didn't say everything that they had spoken about.

Nessie looked out the window again. She wished she didn't have to be here. This was making her worried and also pretty upset. Couldn't Tyler see she needed to go. Guess not.

Rose was surprised when Tyler laughed. 'Try me!' Rose grinned, wondering what was going on. Nessie looked embarrased, Tyler looked embarrased. The only situation was the one she hoped it wasn't...

"Like what? Really, that's a dumb question Nessie, ever since Rose got here you've completely changed, you didn't want to leave when it was just me here" he sighed, what was he meant to say now? She seemed determined to leave.

"I don't know, why would you have an argument?" Tyler said, looking at Nessie hoping she'd get what he meant. If Rose ever found out what Nessie had revealed to him he could guarantee there would be an argument. For all he knew this might have not been the first time Nessie had betrayed Rose causing an earlier argument.

"Uh, because you're my best friend that's why" Tyler said, stating the obvious. The two of them had only just started talking again, they had so much to catch up on, so much he'd missed. He just wanted to spend time with her.

He watched the two of them keeping quiet as Nessie lied to Rose, it wasn't exactly a lie because they did apologize, he guessed she was just leaving out the bad part.

He shook his head slowly. "What she said. My mouth is closed" he said, looking over at his owl sat in its cadge on the nearby seats, anything to avoid looking at them two right now.
