First Floor Corridor The only way to get here to there twixt the ground and second stair. |
Faith walked around the corridor, trying to find her way out into the beautiful sunlight. She had her favorite book in her hand as she walked. Getting lost seemed to be a specialty of hers at Hogwart's. There were so many hallways and doors and such. |

"Where are you going anyways? Maybe I could help you, even though I'm new here too," Zara said and added, "Oh well, we could get lost together." And she laughed. |

Faith found her story slightly saddening. "Um, I don't know." She said honestly. |

Bright purple and neon green highlights in her brown hair. How AWESOME is that? Bridget, with her blonde locks, wouldn't be able to pull this look off. HA. There's one good thing about this school she could brag about. It was unfair that Idge's place was so cool and she was stuck in this hellhole. Seriously, there were professors here who expected her to BALLROOM DANCE. What was up with that?! Ever since she'd held herself back in that bathroom with the midget, Di Marco had been itching to cause some trouble but there was just something about this castle that made her uneasy. Blowing a hole or graffiti-ing the place just didn't cut it, and bullying... Well, she's kind of promised not to. Oh, what the heck. Since when does she ever keep her promises to be a better child? Seriously. Aunt Lea and Father were deluding themselves. All they had to do was ask Idge and she'd tell them that she was a lost cause. Taking out her wand, the brunette calmly twirled in her hand as she leaned against the wall and silently pondered what to do next. She certainly wasn't going to go to any lessons. Did teachers patrol out here? She ran a small, white finger down the cold wall and willed an idea to come to her. |
Quote:
Walking along the first floor corridor she passed a slightly younger girl that was leaning against a wall. Sophie had almost made it to the next staircase went she turned and headed back to the girl. Shooting her a sunny smile she said "Hi! Why are you playing with your wand?" the wand twirling she had only noticed. |
Teenagers and their hormones! XD Quote:
... What kind of question is that? Pfff. So much for prefects around here. She opened her mouth to answer, and was suddenly angry. Why should SHE have to explain herself to some prefect? SHE never wanted to come here, she was FORCED against her will so WHY did she have to abide by their laws? Hmpf. There was probably some child law against that. "None of you business, prefect," Di Marco answered irritably, not particularly caring if she was rude or not. Because what was the worst they could do? Expel her? Fantastic. It's exactly what she wanted. |
not content with this post.meep. Quote:
Cocking her brown head to the side Sophie responded calmly "I have a name other than prefect which is Sophie. I’d like you to use that. And cut the attitude out." Pausing to lean against the wall behind her the brunette waited for a minute or so and then asked curiously [b["Why aren’t you outside, soaking in the last of the sun before winter gets here?"[/b] |
Quote:
Di Marco blinked. The girl didn't even seem upset. A little miffed, for sure, but not as upset as she'd have liked her to be. Hmm... Maybe she'd had one too many calming droughts in potions? Anyhow, Di Marco didn't particularly care what the prefect's name was - even if it happened to be Sophie. And she would NOT order her about; the prefect wasn't even a RAVENCLAW. "Huh," was all she replied, and when the Gryffindor prefect - red was Gryffindor, right? - asked her another question, she rolled her eyes. "I don't like ants," Di Marco said, still miffed at how everything was completely upside down here. It was SUMMER back home now... Bleh. |
Quote:
It was a small experiment to see if the Ravenclaw girl would soften or remain with the same attitude. The lioness prefect had a feeling that the colour of her robes had something to do with the reason why the other girl was acting like she was acting. |
Quote:
"Fourth," Di Marco replied, more than a little irked. The coffee this morning hadn't been strong enough - she was even more annoyed at everything than she usually was. If Idge was here, she'd tell this Prefect that now would be a good time to back off. Her hand tightened its grip on her wand and she waited. Could she be expelled for harming a Prefect? ... Hold old was this girl anyway? |
Quote:
It didn't cross Sophie's mind till after that the Ravenclaw may not me interested in learning why an ant was important or what an eco system was. Oh well it was said done and she couldn't exactly take it back. "I'm a sixth year." she informed the younger girl wondering if that would have any effect on what happened next. Sophie was oblivious to the fact that the girl had tightened the grip on her wand. |
Quote:
Perhaps only Ravenclaws were normal... Although she did like the sound of those Slytherins. She'd yet to encounter a snake one on one though. "Only, unlike us, they are not able to build empires and battle with wands and make intelligent decisions on the future of the world. They build their homes and collect food," she replied, for some reason determined to outsmart this so called Prefect. Pfft. Sixth year. She could take a sixth year, couldn’t she? Ye- HOLD ON. How did the girl know that she was wondering her age? Did they teach Legilimency here? Was that even legal? O_O Di Marco blinked, then composed herself. FINE - she'd learn Occulemncy. How hard could it be? Eying the Prefect, she remained silent. She didn't want the girl to KNOW that she knew her secret. |
Arabella-Marie wandered along the first floor corridor and stopped and leaned against the wall she was wanting to cause some trouble but she needed somebody to cause trouble with she didnt want to do it alone |

Whilst Di Marco was thinking of the best way to hex the prefect and make it look like she really meant it, she noticed a couple of kids - one of them older than her, she thought - run down the corridor, grinning WAY too much. Frowning, she leaned over to see what they were running from and immediately rolled her eyes. Dungbombs and stuff... So old school. Who even does that anymore? Pfft. Should she tell the Prefect? Breathing in, the stench suddenly got to her and the brunette gagged. "Hold on a second," she said to the prefect and cast a bubble head charm on herself. She LOVED this charm - it made everything look and sound so bizarre. "Yes, ok," she added as the charm completed itself and she grinned. Those school pranks may be old school, but there were scarily effective and kinda amusing, in a way. They'd managed to cheer HER up, at any rate. Smiling at the prefect through the tanklike thing over her head, she made a mental note to tell Bridget about this. |

The Ravenclaw gave an outline on what humans could do which ant's could not like build empires, battle with wands and make intelligent desicions for the world's future. Getting a feeling the lioness asked "Is that what you dream to do in life build an empire?" Or maybe that was a Slytherin's ambition? Shrugging Sophie wondered if providing her year had been a wrong idea. It seemed to only make the Ravenclaw girl grip her wand tighter. "I only supplied my year since i assumed you already guessed that I was older then you are."Erm, okay did that make sense? She and her logic. Quote:
Quote:
The fowl stench that the dungbombs left was unbearable. She knew at least one of the culprits by appearance since she had helped the girl out during the previous year. Her name was Arabella-Marie something she remembered. Holding her hand over her nose Sophie turned her attention to the Ravenclaw that she had been talking with. After their chat was over she was going to report to one of the staffer's that the first floor needed to be cleaned. Quote:

Stumbling down the hallway, being slammed into walls, stepped on, and falling flat on her face was Serena, a small, not so innocent first year. After falling yet again she got incredible lost |

Confused and alone Serena continued down the hall until she was shoved into a pair a fourth years. "I'm ever so sorry" she said in a small scared voice |
Sophia danced around a little bit as she skipped through the first floor corridor. She didn't know what she was looking for, or really what she was after. It was getting cold outside, but it didn't matter too much to her right now. If she got bored, she'd just run upstairs and then be merry outside. She wasn't in her robes, but since there wasn't any classes for her to go to today she didn't feel as though she need to be in them. She just pulled her vest around her a little closer as she walked by a window and a draft came through. Once she passed that, she placed her hands in her front jean pockets and actually walked normally for a little bit. What was there to do today? |
Quote:
Now where the hell was he? He was lost but he didn't know where he was even headed to so how could he be lost? He was just plain him so he was lost all of the time. As he was walking he was paying no attention and ran into someone. |
Quote:
But then again, it was a person. And Sophia looooooved people. She heard someone talking to her in a different accent as they helped her up. All of her thoughts were knocked out, and she wasn't completely paying attention. "No no, you're fine," she said, brushing herself off. "It happ--" She stopped as she looked up at the person who was talking to her. IT WAS A BOY. A CUTE boy, at that. And he was standing right in front of her, more like holding her arm. She couldn't help but grin, and she looked down for a second. She pushed some of her hair behind her ear and cleared her throat. "I'm Sophia," she said. "Sophia Carlisle. I'm a Ravenclaw fourth year. It's nice to meet you James." |
Alfie started up the first floor corridor, her face hidden slightly behind her schedule. She wasn't even quite sure where she was going, she had just wandered up a staircase and here she was in this corridor. She didn't even realize she had company until she was a foot away from the pair of people, nearly running into the girl who was tucking hair behind her ear. "Oh! Sorry," Alfie quickly muttered, jumping back slightly as she looked up from her schedule and realized her proximity to them. Her blue eyes scanned the pair without realizing exactly what she was doing, analyzing them both and quickly gathering that this girl was seeming to flirt with the other student. She was intruding. A small, knowing smile on her face, she took an extra step back, her eyebrows raising slightly, "I didn't mean to interrupt." Sensing that she wasn't necessarily welcomed in the conversation, and not exactly in the mood to converse with people who were otherwise occupied, she gave a bit of an awkward wave. "Well...bye then." Alfie dodged back down the stairs, cursing herself internally for her own nature and quickly realizing that exploring would mean coming in contact with other students. |
I'm SO SORRY. :S Quote:
The future was somewhat of a mystery for the fourth year. She had no idea what she wanted to do, except that she knew she wanted a lot of money. Like her Father. LOADS AND LOADS of cash. But for that, she either needed to be insanely lucky or just very very good. Both of which didn't really sound like something that might be in store for her. When had she ever been lucky in her life? AND, she was good at everything but not good ENOUGH. It was maddening. "What? No, I'm fine," she waved the silly question aside as he gestured to the bubble around her head. Was this prefect blind, too? Honestly. And WHAT? That didn't even make any sense. "Okay, you're SERIOUSLY strange. Who in the world decided to make you prefect?" she demanded, staring at the older girl. On top of all, she just LET those two girls drop the dungbombs and swamp thing. SERIOUSLY. |

What was she doing here? Right, walking. Walking and walking, going nowhere. Really, Zara, you've been at Hogwarts for at least three months or more and you still don't know the ways around here. She looked around, students were walking everywhere. Maybe she should go approach one of them. Nahh, maybe not. They were busy, weren't they? Still, she needed a tour of Hogwarts. Somewhere to go. *sigh* |
Quote:
She noticed a small girl walking around the corridors looking rather lost. She walked towards her, and as she approached the girl she noticed the red on her cloak. "Nice, a Gryffindor," she mumbled to herself. She walked right next to her and said looking straight forwards, not giving even a look at the girl, "Is it just me or are you really lost?" |
Quote:
Lost? "Kinda," she admitted, her cheeks blushing a bit. Then Zara bit her lip and smiled shyly. |

"I really don't know. Anywhere I guess," right, anywhere. Some cool places would be great. Some hidden passageways would be better. A tour would be the best. Buuuut, that's asking too much. |

Slowly dragging her feet towards the Gryffindor, Aiden greets zara with a low voice. "Hey," she smiles faintly. "Umm... What are you doing here?" asked Aiden curiously. |

Gahh, Zara was so confused at what she said. She still didn't know the specifics so she struggled for words. |

Then Zara remembered something she had to do. "Oh crud!" she suddenly said, smacking her forehead. "I forgot. I've gotta be somewhere right now. Maybe the both of you could tour each other. That is if you want to. Uhm, really sorry, I gotta go. See you around!" Zara said in a hurry, then she waved and immediately ran away. After almost reaching her destination, she remembered she still didn't know the name of the Ravenclaw girl. GAHH, brain damaged Zara. Maybe she would ask the next time they see each other. |

Levi strode into the first floor corridor, having rushed out of class as soon as it was dismissed. His heart was pounding wildly and he was trying to hide the dazed looking smile that kept popping on his face. Because of conflicting schedules, he hadn't seen Samira in more than a week and he was planning to run into her and her friend Nika that day. He waited in the corridor, adjusting his shabby robes and trying to make himself look decent before they arrived. The Gryffindor reached into his robe and checked the Christmas present he had gotten for her--a muggle book called A Tale of Two Cities. He didn't know much about it but she said she liked suspense and romance and the book seller had recommended it to him. He figured he would give her the present when he got a moment alone with her. He hoped she wouldn't think it was boring but he didn't want to be too obvious. He knew he could have given her jewelry but it seemed too soon. It wasn't like they were officially a couple yet. |
Quote:
The Slytherin re-adjusted the bag on her shoulder. It was pretty light, since there was only a few things in there. A couple of books, and the comic Levi lent her. Samira was pleasantly surprised to find out how much she enjoyed it. Who would have thought Muggle comic books could be so entertaining? Also in her bag was a carefully wrapped Christmas present for Levi. It was kind of late, but she didn't think the Gryffindor would mind. She bought him a muggle book on cars, which her uncle sent in for her on her request. And a bat-house for Vlad, so he could always be comfortable. As she rounded the corner, Samira's stomach filled with butterflies as she caught sight of the Gryffindor. Samira paused for a split second to adjust her cloths, make sure her hair wasn't frizzy, or anything like that. Okay, she was good. She moved a little slower this time, so she was closer to Levi. The Slytherin cleared her throat and gave a genuine smile. "Hey stranger," she said. "Long time no see." |
Quote:
Levi waited, staring down at his feet for a moment and then back up at the wall. There was nothing particularly interesting going on today but he had been anticipating this moment for a while now. He wanted to make sure he would screw up and say the wrong thing. He had already caused one friendship to crash and burn by making assumptions and not thinking things all the way through. He was not going to let that happen again. He'd be dead before he made an idiot out of himself again. He had to keep that nonchalant barrier up. He could totally do this. Levi took a deep breath through his nose, listening closely for some footsteps. His guess was confirmed; she was just around the corner and he quickly checked his breath in his palm to make sure it didn't reek. Nope, it was just fine. He knew he had made the right decision not to eat those spicy chips during class. He didn't want to ward the Slytherin girl away when he opened his mouth. He still wished he had brought some water, though. He was getting a little thirsty. When Samira made her way towards him, his throat became drier. She looked fantastic as always and that cute smile of hers made his heart do a couple back-flips along with his stomach. The time they had been away from each other seemed even longer than it had been and he lifted a hand in greeting, smiling back. "Didn't think you'd recognize me," he said jokingly. "How are you doing? Oh, I got you something for Christmas by the way. I hope you like it..." He produced the wrapped up book from his robes and handed it to the girl. |
Quote:
Another fact Samira was grateful for was the fact that she knew she could just be herself around Levi. He would never judge her, Samira knew that. Luckily, Samira didn't need to act "flirty", or "cute" like some girls did to get a guy to notice them. No fake giggling, no misleading body language...this was all real. "I'm doing great, thanks," the Slytherin replied honestly. Samira's bright eyes widened in surprise and happiness when Levi pulled out her Christmas present. She was sure she'd love it, no matter what it was. "Great minds think alike," grinned Samira as she pulled out her own gift and handed it to him. "Merry Christmas, Lev." |
Ahh couldn't get on earlier! Quote:

Nika was running late. She had over slept and breakfast took a long time because she might have talking to a few friends. The two might have already shown up without her. How was she supposed to put her genius plan into action if they were already there!? She ran around until she finally made it to the first corridor. She took a few deep breaths as she scanned it and noticed.... They were there. She quickly hid behind a corner and looked around at them. Aw. They were hitting it off great! Should Nika go and interfere? No... She'd just stick around the corner until the conversation got awkward or something. Then she'd pop in to say a quick hello then make some absurd excuse and leave them together again. She peeked around the corner again and listened in on their little conversation. It was like one of those romance movies where the guy and girl are just friends then slowly fall in love. But it's so booooorrring when it's slow! The two were perfect for each other! She didn't want to push her friend though so she didn't jump out and tell them "to kiss already" like she wanted to. She just wanted to make things go faster. The two deserved each other. Nika's intentions for helping them all get together wasn't ever for just "hanging out". No, it would just make her look like a third wheel. It was better that Nika wasn't seen yet. Oh no... She felt a sneeze coming. Not good. Don't sneeze Nika, don't sneeze. She put a finger under her nose and let out a soft sigh of relief when she didn't sneeze-- "ACHOOO!" Never mind. That was possibly the loudest sneeze Nika has ever made. She almost fell over because of it's force. There was a small flash of pink-ish, red-ish hair when she suddenly realized that she went forward a bit too much. Thank Merlin it was only for a second. Someone could have seen her. Hopefully the two wouldn't notice the sneeze, please don't notice the sneeze... |
I lawled. XD Levi's dark eyes widened as he saw that she had brought him something as well. That was so thoughtful of her. Christmas back home was pretty much a bust when it came to presents and generally feeling loved so the Gryffindor enjoyed spending it at school with his friends a lot more. Now that he had somebody he had feelings for, it only made the holiday several times better. It didn't matter whether he was poor as dirt or not. The feeling of having someone acknowledge you in such a way and care for you zeroed out all of the negativity the rest of the year carried. He didn't know what it was but he knew whatever she had given him, he would love...even if it was a tacky sweater. "Thank you," the Gryffindor replied quietly, taking the gift from her and beaming. "That's really sweet of you. Do you wanna open each others' presents now? I don't mind if you go first." He lifted his head to look at her, his eyes boring into hers. He wondered if she was feeling the same way she had. It was silly but he almost wished she could actually see into his head and understand how much he cared about her. There was only so much he could express using words alone and sometimes he couldn't get them out the right way. Actually, most of time it was hard to express what he truly felt at the risk of looking like a major dork. But with Samira, he didn't mind if he seemed like a geek. He didn't care if he was the biggest geek in the world as long as she thought he was worth being around. He had since figured out that Samira wouldn't have associated with somebody like him if he wasn't worth her time. He hoped his hunch was right, that she saw him as somebody special and not just another idiot in her school. He was pretty sure he didn't need to worry but he couldn't help it once in a while. "Samira," Levi began softly, leaning in. He was going to try kissing her for the second time. The first hadn't gone so well due to him getting nervous. Hopefully, he wouldn't chicken out again. Before he could reach her, a sneeze erupted from around the corner and he gasped, jerking away from the Slytherin hastily. "What was that?" he asked, feeling a little stupid. |
and Ari too *snuggles* Quote:
"You don't have to thank me," she said, smiling softly. "But thanks for your present." Okay, that was a little hypocritical, since she just said he didn't have to thank her, but she couldn't help it. When Levi said Samira could go ahead and open the present, the Slytherin gave a shy smile and a small, "Okay." Samira was very careful as she undid the wrapping paper, shooting Levi a warm smile now and then. Once the paper was all off, Samira's eyes lit up. She studied the cover with great interest. Samira was so glad she now had a Muggle book of her own. "A Tale of Two Cities," she mumbled, gazing at the book. After looking at the Muggle cover in a sort of reverence, Samira gazed back up at Levi and beamed. "Levi, this is...it's perfect! Thank you!" Without hesitation, Samira moved forward and wrapped Levi in a quick hug. She let go and clutched the book to her chest, looking Levi straight in the eyes. "Thank you, really," this time it was more subdued, but completely sincere. "Okay," she said after a small pause. "It's your turn to open your gift." Just as Samira was about to move back and let Levi open his present, she saw him leaning in closer. Her heart stopped. It was almost like in the courtyard, but this time Samira knew Levi was going to kiss her. Instinctively, she leaned in...this was it. This was..."Eep!" Samira jumped away as a loud sneeze interrupted their moment. She looked at Levi briefly before turning and seeing a flash of red-pink hair. She took a step forward. "Nika?" |
Waited for both of you guys to respond cause I'm nice ^_^ SPOILER!!: Ze' Love birds who must endure an annoying third wheel who happens to be hiding while sneezing loudly... Nika freaked. Just when it was getting good too! He was about to kiss her, but I ruined it! She took in a few quick deep breaths. So they heard the sneeze, well at least Levi heard it. There's no doubt that Samira heard it too. It was MASSIVE! The sneeze of all sneezes! And what great timing. AGH! Stupid luck! Maybe if Nika just stays still they won't notice her and they'd just think it was a bird or something... because a bird would definitely be flying inside the corridor. Stupid sneeze. Stupid Nika for letting out a stupid sneeze. Stupid timing. Stupid birds for not flying in the corridors! AGH! Oh my godric how did Samira guess so easily!? Was her sneeze that personalized? Whhaa? No... That can't be it! What if it was because of the quick forward fall. The second year was almost sure she hadn't been caught. Okay maybe if Nika didn't respond and just laid low for a bit they would forget about the sneeze. Not again. Not again. Merlin not now! "ACCHHOOO!" Okay. She stands corrected. This was the sneeze of all sneezes. Weren't allergies only supposed to kick in during the spring!? Stupid winter allergies... Nika stood as straight as a stick. Okay how could she get out of here without being seen!? They might get mad at her for eavesdropping. But the only way to get back to the common room was by passing them. The only way unless she wanted to travel around the whole castle, but who knows how long that'll take! She peeked out of the corner again. Her pink hair showing for a little longer than the first time. Oh merlin. Merlin. Merlin. Levi was getting suspicious and Samira had actually called out her name. If only she could find a pink cat to set loose so that they would blame the sneezes on it! That would be perfect. Maybe if Nika just happened to stroll past them... She could have her hands behind her back and whistle. Would that be casual enough? No. Samira would see right through. Her. Think Nika Think. |
The sneeze had nearly sent the boy jumping out his skin. He was almost astonished that his heart hadn't stopped pumping at that moment. It would figure something would sporadically freak him out right before he was going to make a drastic move. He couldn't believe how horrible the timing was and his jaw hung open. He knew classes were still going on and some students might have been released early or decided to skip but he couldn't help but feel a little annoyed. Couldn't whoever it was have taken a shortcut or something? He was quaking enough as it was. The interruption hadn't done justice to his anxiety at all. The Gryffindor bit his lip and then glanced over his shoulder, heat climbing up his neck and spreading across his face at once. So much for trying to kiss her again. Then again, maybe he should have been grateful for the interruption. What if the kiss hadn't gone too well? He tried not to imagine what his face looked like in the process. The thought of his mouth puckering made him want to either laugh or shake his head in revulsion. What if he looked like a fish or something? That definitely was an alluring image. "Nika?" Levi echoed Samira, lifting a dark brow. He remembered agreeing to hang out with her and Samira the day before but he had his doubts about her actually showing up. She seemed like she might have had other plans but he couldn't tell for sure. He was almost hoping that she would have had something else to do. It would have been nice to get some more alone-time with Samira without making her friend feel left out. "Uh, maybe it was the caretaker..." he suggested lamely. It was the best excuse he could think of. |
Quote:
Samira felt a little embarrassed that Nika was there, and probably saw the whole thing. It was kind of a...private moment. If Nika was there-which Samira somehow was positive of-she might as well come out now, or face Samira's wrath later. |
SPOILER!!: hehe you guys WHY MERLIN WHY!? Nika has been a good child... well for the most part. Why must you punish her so!? Nika took a few deep breaths as she tried to stay hidden behind the corner. As long as they didn't go looking for her she'd be fine, right? Yeah... She'd just have to wait until they left then she could sneak out and pretend like she saw absolutely nothing. YES! That's right Levi it was only the caretaker! Please Samira believe him! The caretaker! It was the caretaker! She let out a barely audible sigh of relief. Thank Merlin for Levi! Now hopefully Samira would believe him-- NO! Samira didn't you hear him!? It's the caretaker. Not Nika. Who's Nika? There's no Nika... Only the caretaker. Not like Nika is behind the corner watching and sneezing and such. No, no not Nika. The caretaker. REMEMBER!? The caretaker. So Samira sounded a bit angry. Uh oh. Angry snake on the loose with little Gryffie behind a corner with nothing but her massive sneezes to shield her. Should she just run for it!? But then she would be seen.... Maybe if she hung out their for a bit longer they would get tired and leave to go to the lake or something... |
Levi backed against the wall, holding his still unwrapped present against his chest. He was still trying to process what was going on but the more he thought about it, the more he was sure the caretaker wouldn't be out at this time of day. Usually they came out around the evening because the halls were less crowded. He knew he wouldn't live it down if they had caught him and Samira trying to kiss either. That would have been a stupid way to land in detention, even though he had been longing to do it for ages. "Maybe we should go somewhere else?" the Gryffindor asked, averting his eyes to the ground. This wasn't exactly his battle if Nika was actually out there and he felt the strong urge to just disappear. He knew it probably hadn't been a wise idea to ask her to join them but he couldn't help it. He felt bad excluding her but now he was feeling more humiliated. It was all he could do not to sink harder into the wall, as if he could will himself to vanish. |
Quote:
Samira saw Levi looking at the ground and felt her heart melt. He looked embarrassed, but even then Samira had to admit it was cute. She really wasn't into cocky, arrogant guys, which is why she found Levi's personality so adorable. Quietly, the dark haired girl moved towards Levi. Samira gently slipped her hand in his. She really didn't see a problem with it, seeing as how they were just about to kiss, but it was foreign. They weren't even an official couple...yet. Hearing the Gryffindor's request, Samira said, "Sure, if you want to." Samira didn't mind going to a different spot with Levi, but she once again hoped that Nika would either show herself, or just pretend that it really was a caretaker. |
Last post before bed guyyys hehe oh and too lazy to quote :P Maybe Nika should've just taken the opportunity of being late to her advantage. She could've always pretended to over sleep through the meeting time and apologize later. But no. Nika decided it would be a wise idea to go and catch up with the two. HMPHM. Her plan all along had been to abandon the two so that they would be together, but it was like that before she interfered with her retched sneezing. Blasted sneezes! Wait!? What was that? Did Levi just suggest. THANK MERLIN. Nika felt like running out and hugging the guy for the suggestion, but that would just defeat the purpose of hiding in the first place. So she just stood there quietly and listened for Samira's response. Maybe she'd just catch up to the Slytherin later and deny the whole thing. Yeah, that's a good plan. Nika wondered whether to come out or to just stay behind the corner. She didn't want to become a third wheel at all and she thought Samira would appreciate it more if she just stood there. So she did just that. No more sneezing. Not for Nika.... hopefully.... |
Raachie. Neptune threw glances back over her shoulder, just to make sure the MEAN Hufflepuff wasn't following her. She'd only cried a little, only the tears she hadn't been able to help, but mostly had dried them up. She only had the little tear stains on her cheeks. Sigh. Stupid Hufflepuffs. Neptune should have known better. Should have, but didn't. Neptune was taking the very, very, long way around to get to her Common Room. She wanted to get herself composed first. |

Without much notice, he wrapped his arms around her from behind, pulling her into a big hug. "Hi Neptune." |

Neptune startled, but relaxed almost immediately. Finny hugs were more familiar than most, and entirely welcomed at the moment. With her back still to him, Neptune inconspicuously wiped at her cheeks again. "Mr. Carmichael. Aren't there rules about hugging in the corridors? I should tell on you." .... giggle. |
Quote:
"Mmm...." He grinned at her, pushing the sleeve of his left arm up, before showing her the magpie temporary tattoo on his a Bicep. "Still looking good?" |
Quote:
"They made you Head Boy? Did they really?" Neptune giggled, keeping her chin low and eyes averted. She focused on his badge, and robes, and then.... his arm. Neptune grinned at her work, then reached her fingertips out to brush the black of the magpie. "Of course it does. I did it, didn't I?" So of COURSE it was still looking good. One of the wings were a little wonky, but Neptune figured it was pretty good for a first try. "I can touch it up later, if you'd like." |

Finn smiled. He had liked her present, it was very nice. "Yes...Little Miss Perfect." He grinned at her. He really did like the tattoo though, it was very thoughtful. "Oooh....I'd like that." He really would. Then he could go around with it for even longer. Yes. That would be good. |

She frowned at his name for her, being reminded of Mia and what a DISASTER that had been. "In the Common Room later, then. Not out there. Wouldn't want to give rumor fodder to people." Noooo Neptune touching all over Finny's arm probably wouldn't look good for him, regardless of how safe it was. |
Quote:
"Yeah...." Finlay agreed with a smile. It wouldn't do at all, especially considering that he had a girlfriend now. He didn't want Fallon to here any stupid rumours about him and Neptune. They were friends, just that. "Do you still want me to do you one?" Because he totally would. |
Quote:
Neptune went along easily enough. She had been heading towards the Common Room anyway. Now she had an escort, so things were looking up. She thought about his offer as they walked, Neptune keeping him slow on purpose. No hurry. "Hmmm. I chose a Magpie to show you I'm happy for your new Quidditch position." And because it was pretty easy as a first tattoo attempt. "What would you choose for me?" She wasn't saying NO. She actually was pretty intrigued by the idea. |
Quote:
Ahh. What he would pick for her? "Hmmm..." Finlay mused with a grin, as he thought about it for a second, although he actually knew what he would do for her. "A butterfly.....or flowers, because like they're pretty like you." And she was very pretty. He hoped she wouldn't mind that as a tattoo, because like it would be bad if she didn't. |
Quote:
Neptune smiled down at their feet. "I do like butterflies," and of course she loved flowers. He knew. "It's a deal so long as you're sure no one will mind." As in, a certain girl. Neptune hated being hated, and particularly being hated by other people's girlfriends. |

If Finny said so, she'd believe him. "Will that be my birthday present then? We should look up how to make the butterfly move. Might be fun to have a traveling tattoo." Giggle. |

Neptune rested her head over on Finny's shoulder as they walked. "That's why I'm down here. Mia was supposed to teach me to knit and make me a scarf. It didn't go so well." |

Quote:
"I don't think I'll be getting a Mia-made scarf for my birthday after all," Neptune shrugged. It REALLY hadn't gone well. "She said she was tired of trying to be my friend." Among other things. "I'm not sure she ever really wanted to be. It didn't go well at all. Worst first friend-date ever." |

Because she DID have a handful of amazing friends. Finny, for one. Kellen. Ivan. Lexi. Trixie. Legend. And...Jim? Sometimes? "She just wanted to talk about Jimmy." SIGH. Neptune did NOT want to talk about Jimmy with everyone all the time. Perhaps Finny could relate. |
