Abandoned Mermaid Lagoon Awards Table The event is nearly finished, but there are still some prizes to award. Talk amongst your friends whilst you wait for the prefects to compare their notes and finalize the winners' list. But don't get too distracted.....or you may miss out on all the fun. ooc: Feel free to RP here, but the prefects will be along shortly to post awards. |
Iris made her way to the Entrance Hall with a very large box. In the box, were quite a few trophies. Yup. Finding a table already set up for them, Iris sighed. No one else was here yet? Ah well. Hopefully Finn and the other prefects would get here soon.... and the students. They were needed, too... Setting the box down on the table, Iris begun to take all the trophies out of the box. |
Making his way slowly to the awards' room, Evan peeked in for a moment and saw only Iris was there yet. Odd, Hogwartians were usually quite quick to find the place of action... guess no one wanted to leave the lagoon yet. Shrugging, he stepped in, smiling at the girl. "Need any help?" he asked as his eyes scanned the room once more. |

Iris looked up, with a peculiar looking trophy in her hand. She smiled when she saw that it was Evan. "Hi, Evan..." Help? That'd be fantastic. "Err, yeah please. Just help me get the trophies out of the box." And then a first year came up to them. Ahh... well, the work wasn't that tedious. She didn't need that much help. "No thanks, sweetie. We should be good on our own." Yup... |
Thea smiled a little. 'Ok..' Turning away, she wandered to a nearby rock and sat down to wait for everyone else to arrive. ..Looving the first yearness... *eye roll* |
Arya DIDN'T want to leave the lagoon. Ever. But she knew that they would probably need some help with the awards, and so she reluctantly left the clear blue waters and sloooolwy made her way to the ground floor. Hair still damp, she made her way over to the Slytherin prefects. "Hey guys! Sorry it took me so long." Though looking around, she noticed she wasn't the only one that didn't want to leave the lagoon. Maybe she'd go back when this was all over... |
Prizes!!!!! Yay. Conan hoped he won. Though he probably wasn't cool enough. Oh well this would be exciting anyway. He rocked on his heels as he awaited the announcements. He couldn't see Treyen. Where was he? |
Aurora dragged herself into the Entrance Hall, tears still streaming down her face. She didn't really want to be here but she felt like she owed it to *Mummy Snake* to attend her event. She hid herself a little in a corner and waited for more people to arrive so that she'd be less conspicuous... |

Penny made her way to the entrance hall...she didn't think she'd won, but she figured she might as well wait to see who did win.. |

He forgave her, "It was horrible of me..." she croaked, her tears drying up. "Maybe we can be friends now..." she hoped; if all this crying wasn't freaking him out already. |
Quote:
He squeezed her tightly. He hoped there weren't boogers on his robes. Ewwww. Girl boogers. "Sure," he didn't really see that there was a problem. He still liked her. Maybe he was naive. Who knew. |
Quote:
Aurora smiled into Conan's robes as he hugged her. "Good." she pulled away. "Because we'll be in the same year next term." she added, managing a weak smile. "Sorry, you've got tears all over your robes..." she took out her wand and pointed it at them, "Scourgeo." she was getting better at that, she'd have to practice over summer... oh... wait... she wasn't allowed. Damn! She'd have to get used to spending time without magic... When she'd been homeschooled it had been all year round... |
Quote:
He frowned, "We will? But I am a second year and you are a first. Won't you be a second year?" That didn't make sense. Conan chuckled, "It's ok." His eyes widened and his body stiffened as she used MAGIC to clean his robes. MAGIC. How could she. He quickly shed his outer robes. They were contaminated now. |
Quote:
Aurora nodded, "Well I'm old enough for second, I'm only in first year because I was homeschooled in Germany so I have to get used to English ways and language - hence the accent." or lack of one, English was her first language, but so was German... and she spoked a little (bad) French and even less Italian, so her accent was a little muddled. "So Mother put me in first year." she shrugged, she was bored of explaining it. "But I'll be in third year next year." "What's wrong? They're clean now..." she frowned as he removed his outer robes. "They're fine to wear..." |
For Ayra!!! Everyone else: the trophies will be presented shortly. ;) As Ayra made her way over to them, Iris grinned. "Hullo! Ahh... don't worry about it. There's not that many students here yet, anyway... There's no point giving out an award to someone who's not shown up, yet," she said, with a smile. Content that all the trophies were sufficiently displayed, the Head Girl leant against the table and crossed her arms... She was just waiting on more students to show up before she started to address them all. Iris noticed Aurora talking to a small Hufflepuff boy. She looked really upset. The Head Girl made a mental note to go and talk to the girl later, to make sure she was okay. |
Striding into the Entrance Hall with a smile on her face - yes, a SMILE, who knew? - Ryden made her way over to the table where the Prefects were putting trophies and was content to just wait and see who won. Of course, she was secretly hoping it might be her but the brunette was MUCH too hyped up from the day to actually be all that bothered about the outcome. It would hit her later, when the adrenaline pumped down and she went back to being just Ryden. Looking around, she bit her lip. Orlando wasn't here. She wanted him to be here. Hmpf. |
Of course, he had to be here. Orlando hadn't really anticipated something like this after the Lagoon surprise - it was so perfect, he never expected there would be more to it still. Awards? He wasn't sure - what would they be given awards for? Reaching their first? With too many questions and excitement still, the sixteen year old made his way over to the table - his now well trained eyes, finding Ryden at once. "Hellooo" he greeted. "Oh. Are you actually smiling?" he grinned. |
Iris stood up straight, looking around at the people who were here. Eh... she couldn't see all the people who had trophies, but if they didn't show up then she'd just get the prefects to give them out in the common rooms. "Okaaay." She said, looking at her prefects. "Let's do this," she added quietly, before turning to face all of the students. "All right... listen up everyone!" she yelled, to grab everyone's attention. "As you are all now aware, we have an award or two... twelve... to give out. We felt that it'd be nice closure to the whole event." She grinned, "But, we didn't inform you of this earlier to make the actual scavenger hunt all the more fun." "We have three types of awards to give out. Trophies for the first groups to get to the lagoon; trophies for the first students to find the clues at their second location; and trophies for the people who the prefects felt performed outstandingly throughout the whole hunt." The Head Girl stopped talking, and looked at Finlay expectantly. He was the one giving out the first two, after all. |
And there he was. GRIN. Straightening her back as Orlando walked towards her, Ryden nodded back in response. "Hi," was all she said, and then faked a large gasp of surprise, putting a hand over her O-shaped mouth. "But Orlando! Whatever do you mean?" she said in a high, falsetto voice, blinking in face surprise "I have a bright and happy disposition, always!" Pfffft. Hehe. "... It was a fun day, ok? I had fun," she added after a pause, in her normal voice. But still smiling. ... AND THEN. The prefect spoke. Oooooh. PERHAPS SHE'D GET A PRIZE IN THE END. Excited, she turned to Orlando and grinned. YAY. |
Aurora looked to Iris, wiping her eyes so that she could see properly. Ooooh, lots of awards. They should all go to the Slytherins: clearly the cleverest and best of them all... Anyway, she waited, still glancing at Conan who seemed to have reacted strangely to her cleaning his robes for him... |

Quote:
It was TRUE. Koala dog certainly had more charm on Ryden than Orlando had. He smiled warmly, his eyes twinkling. "I am very glad to hear that." |
Finlay had felt that the whole hunt, and lagoon had gone as a big success. Everyone had seemed to enjoy there selves, and now they were going to hand out there epic trophies. After a bit of discuss, they had worked out who had won each one. And now Finn was ready to hand out the first couple of trophies Heey Guys." The headboy grinned, as he came to stand alongside Iris. He'd changed out of his boardshorts, and into a more presentable blue polo shirt, and some trousers. Although he kind of still wanted to be down the lagoon in his board shorts. As Iris said I'm gonna give out the trophies for the guys that where the first two the lagoon. We're giving out two trophies, one for each pair that got there first." With that he reached into the box, and pulled out the trophy. The first trophy goes to....Sierra Greingoth of Slytherin, Harper Crickette of Hufflepuff, and Lola Jones of Slytherin, who were the first out of those two houses to get to the Lagoon." Finlay wanted for the three students to step forward, before he handed across their very pretty Trophy "Congratulations to those three" and to go along with that little speech, he clapped, hoping that some other students would join in. [b]And the second trophy goes to...Orlando Renaldi of Gryffindor, and Ryden De Marco of Ravenclaw, who were the first of those two houses to get to the lagoon." He waited for both students to step up before handing the trophy over to them. "Congradulations to them." Along with some more clapping. With that over, he nodded, and glanced back at Iris. And onto the next trophies. |
They won. THEY ACTUALLY WON. Orlando Renaldi stared, dumbfounded before grabbing Ryden's hand - just like he had through out the task and further (it was a lucky charm) - and stepped forward to take the trophy. So shiny and PRETTY! "Thank You." he grinned, looking at both the Head Boy and Head Girl. |
After editing TWICE.... :D Quote:
Ryden bouncing. ODD thing. HEH. Twinkle. "Yeah, well. Perhaps we'll even get something," she said, and indicated towards the prefects. Could be so COOL. And she'd come home to Bridget and flaunt it around her and show her that Hogwarts - MUM'S school - wasn't all that bad. That SHE was going to a better school than her, in stinkin' Italy. The weather may be nicer, but Hogwarts was pretty cool. She'd bet ANYTHING that her school didn't have lagoons like this one. Quote:
O_O SHE'D WON. SHE AND ORLANDO HAD WOOOOONNN. "ORLANDO LOOK!" she yelled, her smile stretched so wide from one ear to the other it would probably hurt later. But now she DIDN'T CARE. Because she'd WON. With ORLANDO. Quote:
EEEEP. |
"MOON SHIIIIIIIIIIINE?!" Lola called out as she started entering the area in hopeless desperation. This couldn't be! WHERE WAS HER MERMAID SISTER? In fact, the Slytherin girl was missing-in-action for this entire event because of those lost hours swimming the lagoon in hopes of finding her glittery sisters, Moon Shine and Sparkle Corn, in which they would swim away from this cruel world into that mermaid haven that Sierra Greingoth so called it! EVERYTHING WAS A LIE. Where were the glitters? Where was her father underneath all of those rubbish?! The tridents were treated as if they were carelessly left behind and she so needed to take at least one of them as a souvenir but alas, they were too heavy. This obviously indicated that their was no more hope left in the world and she would die a human forever with those pathetic feet of hers just dragging off the dirty ground like the filthy thing she was. What was she suppose to do now? Lola was a mermaid stuck in a human body. She would be facing discrimination and OPPRESSION her entire life. Under all of her own chaos, she suddenly heard her name being called. WHAT WAS THAT?! A VOICE? A CALL FOR HER? Yearning to be back into the depths of the ocean? Lola immediately wobbled over to the voice with her OH-SO-ELEGANT mermaid-swimming-suit that just screamed for attention and glory. It had only been the Head Boy. Wait, hold on. She was getting something incredibly shiny. A TROPHY. Oh my. Lola immediately basked with that recognition and wobbled up some more to reclaim her prize. She gasped. Underneath all of this fame. "Thank you, thank you dahlings!" she said pompously. |
Kurumi clapped as awards were handed out. Her attention was completely taken away from the trophies, however, when Queen Flobberworm showed up looking like a mermaid. Eyes widening, Kurumi instantly felt a tinge of jealousy. Why did she get to turn into a mermaid?! Kurumi had been hoping that they would the entire time she had been on the hunt, and especially after finding out that their destination had been the Black Lake and now this beautiful lagoon. Kurumi edged herself closer to Lola and gawked. "Psst...how did you become a mermaid?!" |
So, there was this...awarding thing. Heh. Well...despite the fact that Josh doubted an award given by the BIGHead Bou would be worth having, it at least sounded interesting. And it was his curiosity and the crowd gathering there that made him get attracted to the activity...whatever it was going on there. So, holding Evelyn's hand, he practically tugged her there with himself as well. Once he believed he was close enough to see what was going on, the Gryffindor stopped and looked at those who had won trophies. Oh. Cool. He would have clapped for them but...well...he was holding his girlfriend's hand and he did not want to let her go. Definitely not. |
SPOILER!!: samia and fire_faerie As the Ravenclaw and the Gryffindor came up to get their award, Iris smiled. They both seemed genuinely surprised to have won... Bless them. SPOILER!!: dingDong Oh for the love of all things Slytherin... Lola was ACTUALLY insane! Iris stared at the girl as she came forwards in a mermaid costume, yelling to the mermaid sisters of hers that she'd made up. Maybe the mermaids weren't a good idea. They'd completely unhinged the girl. Hopefully that wouldn't affect her Seeker skills though... they needed those, desperately. "Aaaanyway... Moving swiftly on." she said, eyeing the girl. Addressing the students loudly, Iris smiled, "The next few we have to give out, are for the students who found the overall clue at the second location you all went to." Picking up a trophy, Iris read over it. Oookay. Announcing the Ravenclaw one first, apparently. "This trophy is for the Ravenclaw who solved all of the clues in the Library first. Congrats, Gwendolyn Greene." Iris waited for the girl to come forwards, then handed it to her. "The Slytherin who used the clues to find the name of the courtyard first is Aurora Stewart-Quinn." Iris eyed the small red-head, wondering if she was okay, still. Maybe the trophy would cheer her up. With a jerk of the head, gesturing her to come forwards, Iris held out Aurora's trophy. Now... the Hufflepuff winner. There was four of them... Hehe. Greedy badgers. "Now, there are four winners for the Hufflepuff's second task, as it required four of them to work together to find the clue. Those students are: Conan Taylor, Emmaleigh Swynford, Renesmee Dixon and Amy Samson." Iris picked up four trophies, each of which were identical with four names on them. She waited until those four Badgers had come forward and collected their trophies, before moving onto the Gryffindor winner. "And finally, Ariella Adler was the first to complete the task set to her house." Smiling, Iris picked up the last of her trophies, and handed it to the girl. Once all of the students had received theirs, Iris grinned and turned to look at Treyen. "Your turn, Treyen." she said, simply. |
Quote:
Right? Leaning against his arm slightly, his warmth making her feel not so cold anymore, she eyed all the people going up to get one of those really weird trophies, and eyed Lola even more than the others. She was a brave girl, that one. How was she a Slytherin? "I dare you to wear one of those." she whispered to her boyfriend, a rather large and SLYTHERIN smirk on her face. Yea, she dared him to wear a swimsuit like Lola had on. |
To Aurora Quinn too ^_^ Text Cut: fire_faerie ^_^ Arriving just in time when the trophy had been given to a Ravenclaw, Louisa smiled widely. She hadn't participated in the hunt but someone from her house got it! Ignoring the fact that the Ravvie girl was all jumpy and happy with someone else, Louisa walked over to her, "Hey, congratulations. Great job." She didn't really know if it was a competition between classmates within the same house or not. She just felt proud with a trophy in one of her classmate's hand. And then Aurora's name was said. Quickly, Louisa turned around to see if that was the same Aurora from Diagon Alley. Yep. It was. The same kid got a trophy too! Louisa hadn't talked to her in forever! Well, never after the joke's shop's meeting. She smiled at the younger girl and gave her thumbs-up. Louisa owed her for the... potion. |
Quote:
When she leaned against him, he dropped her hand but wrapped an arm around her waist instead. Then he just kept watching and admiring her beauty. He was still doing the same when she spoke up. Daring him to wear one of those? ''Sure.'' he said not really knowing what she was referring to for he was still staring at her. He was always ready to do whatever she wanted or dared him to do. Yet that smirk, that...dangerous smirk, combined with a bit of curiosity made him glance at what she was actually talking about. And... Wha? ''No, you don't.'' so he replied. At the sight of that weird swimsuit, normally the idea of wearing it would utterly horrify him however, now, he was just grinning back at his girlfriend as he spoke. ''I don't think it would fit my body anyway. Just...look at it...then me.'' |
SPOILER!!: Rachieee SPOILER!!: Lolaaa! Harper beamed as she heard her name called, along with Sierra and Lola's. She had had no idea that there was a TROPHY involved in all of this! She walked over to Lola from where she had been standing and gazed at the trophy in the girl's hands. "Ooooh, that's prettty..." she couldn't stop smiling. Never before had she EVER gotten an award. THIS WAS COOL. "Nice...suit, Lola," she breathed, taking a moment to appraise her comrade. "It suits you miraculously." This was not a lie. |
Sowwy work! Quote:
Conan understood now, "Like when I was in High School. I was ahead of my age though. Not behind." Made sense though. Since she was German. "I can't speak German. I speak French, and a little bit of Japanese." He wasn't trying to impress her or anything. But he was American. They spoke Spanish as a second language normally. He shuddered as his robes dropped to the floor, "They are worse now. They are covered in magic." Worst thing ever! Worse than poop. Quote:
|
Quote:
To an onlooker she might have just looked like a particularly shy child but for the fact her eyes were red and anyone who'd ever come across her knew that she was anything but shy. She went back to stand with Conan. Quote:
Quote:
Then she coughed a little with surprise; he didn't like Magic? "What?! What do you think the House Elves do to clean your clothes every night? They don't do it the muggle way..." her eyebrows shot up under her fringe. "You really don't like magic?!" Then his name was called, "Hey, you won too! We have matching Trophies!" she grinned at him a little, still freaked by the not-liking-magic thing. |
Quote:
He shook his head furiously, "I clean my own clothes thank you very much." Not those creepy halloween dwarves. Why did everyone call them house elves? "I really don't like magic. Ask Treyen." Yep ask the Prefect. He beamed, "I did. And so did you." That was exciting. This was his first 'wizarding' trophy. |
Quote:
Auroras eyebrows climbed even higher. "Do you make your own food as well?" she asked, that could be a lot of effort just because he didn't like magic... "I don't know Treyen... Why don't you like magic?" she asked. She looked at his trophy, "It's a shame you're not a Slytherin, then even the colours would have matched." She chuckled, if he hated magic he would NOT have fitted in Slytherin. |
Okay, so other than her and Orlando, a bunch of other people had won... One who seemed to be wearing what looked like a mermaid costume. o___O What? Shaking her head slightly, she grinned over at the other winners and was content to just stand there with Orlando. Hehe. Text Cut: Louisa! ... Person. "Erm, thank you. It was actually a team effort between me and Orlando here," Ryden said, surprising even herself with her niceness, and showing the girl both of their names. She'd have introduced herself too, but the trophy already had her name and besides, they'd called it out. Look what a few hours of sun time could do to her! Hogwarts should get more sun. Or she should go out more and look for it herself. But there was winter, like, MOST of the year so whatever. |
Quote:
He nodded, "Yep. I eat a lot of sandwiches. The halloween dwarves don't let me near the knives though. Cos they are crazy." His face fell when she asked why he didn't like it. "It's not real." That was why. Cos the magic wasn't real. Disney magic was real. |
SPOILER!!: Joooosh teehee Sure? Good Merlin, if she'd known he was distracted when saying that...well, she'd have asked anyways. His answer only caused her smirk to turn a little more mischievous, especially when he realized what the heck he was agreeing to. No she didn't? What did he know? Of COURSE she did! 'Tis why she dared him in the first place. "I don't mean the exact outfit. Of course it wouldn't fit you." Staring at the others who finally went up to get their trophies, the smirk was still on her face as she glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes. "Tough luck though. You already agreed." Yup. MWA! |
Quote:
..:whaa: her whole point of being proud was out the window. He was a Gryffindor. Not that she had issues with Gryffindors, she hadn't known many. Just that cheerful lioness called Nika. Better than someone from Lara's house *scoffs* "Congratulations to you too, Orlando." She smiled formally at the older boy. Looking at their trophies, the thirteen year old wriggled her eyebrows, "Are those enlarged pearls?" she said trying so hard not to gasp! Did wizards thought pearls of a lower precious stones? O__O |
Quote:
Honestly. The others were MEAN. "I don't think so... But if they are, I hardly think they're bought. Perhaps they found them in the lagoon?" she proposed, looking at the trophy more closely than before. Her and Orlando's names stood out quite nicely. Mmhmm. |
Quote:
"Great effort, Orlando." Louisa gave the Gryffindor a smirk, great effort as in good job in the hunt and good job in having such a Ravenclaw warrior on your side. BAHAHAHA, Ravenclaw warriors were the best.Uh huh. "I'm Louisa, by the way.." She said moving closer to Ryden to look at her trophy. Hmm. She should ask for one without the guy's name. Louisa would, even if the name was her best friend or whatever. "..found them in the lagoon?" She repeated absent-mindedly still gazing at the trophy... rather rudely, "Aren't pearls... like.. very precious stones to be given as trophies?" She straightened up and addressed the Ravenclaw. |
It is a GOOD thing Ryden isn't a mind reader... XD Quote:
Ryden growled. This girl was half being really nice and half TAKING ALL HER GOOD MOOD AWAY. Why was she so annoyed with Koala Boy? What had he ever DONE to her? The odd smile didn't fool the fourth year brunette. Nope. "Oh, save it. You couldn't sound LESS sincere even if you said you loved him," Ryden said with an eyeroll and felt her hand tighten on the trophy. Good thing both her hands were occupied at the moment. HMPF. Louisa. "Ryden. Clearly," was all she said, with a raised eyebrow. If she could have folded her hands and stalked off, she would have, but trouble was she didn't really want to leave. She'd just WON. The brunette wanted to bask in that with Orlando for a bit. Instead, she just shrugged. "I don't know, and I don't particularly care. If you want pearls that badly I'll give you some, ok?" she said, retracting her hand so that this Louisa person wouldn't be able to take her trophy. ... She wasn't putting it past her. And it was true, Ryden COULD give her pearls. She had a necklace made of them that looked horridly like something Aunt Lea would wear and Ryden was NOT an Aunt Lea kind of person. Now, if she had a shark-tooth necklace, or even better, an orca-tooth necklace, then THAT would be so much cooler. |
Haha, she might slip though *whistle* Quote:
Something was wrong. In fact, something was right! Of all other Ravenclaws, Louisa hadn't met someone this impolite and defensive except for Enya... who was also a The thirteen year old sighed, "What do you want me to do? I wanted to congratulate you.." my housemate but found an outer sharing your trophy.. ".. and you're just acting so weird," Shifting her eyes at the older lion she made an apologetic smile, "Sorry if I offended you." Not really, but Louisa wasn't one to argue with someone who'd just won something. She wasn't that annoying. Want pearls that badly? The young eagle frooooowned and stared down at her feet, "I don't want pearls. That wasn't what I meant," Clearly this Ryden got into Ravenclaw because it was the only vacant house, hmph. She had NO curiosity in her! "I was just wondering," Glancing once more at the girl's trophy she acknowledged the tight hold of this girl. :O Did she think Louisa might snatch the trophy from her? That's it! She flipped her hair off her shoulder and took a step back, "You don't have to hug your trophy. I'm leaving." BUT I'LL HUNT YOUR DREAMS. Grr. |
*eyes* HMMM. See, now this was just weird. "You DID congratulate me, and I thanked you. But then you went all weird on the person who shared my win, and you had no need to do that. ALSO, I am not weird. Don't call me weird, okay, shrimp?" Ryden replied, making a face at Louisa after she'd finished talking. Sure, it was rich for HER to call someone a shrimp giving her own size, but this girl was clearly YOUNGER and therefore less intelligent. YUP. As the girl apologised to Orlando, Ryden nodded with satisfaction. There's a good girl. SEE? Ravenclaws were sensible people. "Geez, okay, you don't want pearls, no need to freak out," the brunette said, staring slightly at the girl. Ravenclaws WERE sensible, but this one was odd. "I'm not HUGGING my trophy.. And fine, do what you want, I don't care," Ryden spat out and shrugged. This Louisa person was SO lucky she didn't have her hands free. One more wrong word and she would have found out why Koala Boy calls her Fist Girl. HMPF. |
Quote:
Evelyn was staring. SMIRKING actually. Lola Jones was not sea food. Or perhaps she was merely JEALOUS of her tale, her fins, those beautiful gills. Then there was Kurumi, who was just gawking at her, and although she so much enjoyed the attention she was getting--THIS--THIS WAS WRONG. Her MASTER EVEN! "MASTER! Forgive me! I am not worthy to be gawked at! Not worthy, nay NAAAY!" She bowed her head apologetically. "How did I become a mermaid?" Did Kurumi want her to spill her secrets? The BLAZING fire locked inside her heart? Lola was a mermaid/House-elf and again, she was simply not worthy to stand in this girl's presence who saved Queen Flobberworm from dying. "Master... please... must I..." She croaked and realized that she herself was REBELLING AGAINST MASTER KURUMI'S ORDERS. Oh the SHAME. To compensate, Lola immediately knelt down to the ground and refusing to make eye contact. She breathed. "My dangerous quest into becoming a Selkie was RATHER dangerous, and I strongly advice you NOT to undergo the heavy process, Master! But there I was, in the Dungeons where, upon a table, my eyes lay upon these cookies--ALAS, they were not regular cookies, Master!" Lola took a glance at Iris, that Head Girl who just left those fish cookies up for adoption... tututut... "These cookies--they were in the shape of fishies! I rightfully claimed them as my babies and I was their mother and and and... my fish babies," she immediately reached into her pockets and retrieved her babies, "This one's Simon. Then there's Paula. Then of course, Randy. Oh, look, there's Debbie #2 and Kermit and oh my MARGARET, there you are!" Lola forgot about Cynthia and Greg. CYNTHIA AND GREG. Rest in peace. She eyed Kurumi from her kneeling position and then continued, "So then we went all the way to the Fountain--WHERE I HAD TO SACRIFICE MY MERMAID TOKENS--but Sierra says they're all safe in their mermaid haven now and I believe that was almost the last part of the ritual... ALMOST!" Her hands were high in the air now, wondering if the girl was comprehending. She probably was. "No, the last part of the mermaid ritual was to go to the Lagoon and simply BELIEVE that you were a mermaid and I was way about that," she breathed, "But here I come, and this Lagoon's ABANDONED! Now, I'm continuing to continue my quest to find my sisters, Moon Shine and Sparkle Bow in the deep waters. I've already found my father's trident laying on the shore..." Lola immediately started to sob at her Master's feet. Quote:
"Suit?" SUIT? WHAT SUIT? "All you see is real, nothing artifical, dahling," her eyes watering over her glaaaare. Oh no she didn't. |
Quote:
"What? Really? I mean, everything here is done by magic... how can you say it isn't real?" she was flabbergasted (good word) at Conan's reply. She took a paper bag from the pocket of her robes, mmmm Jelly Babies! She offered one to Conan and hoped he'd accept; maybe once he realised how great Wizarding Sweets were he'd accept magic. |
Quote:
"Er, what?" his turn to do what? OH! RIGHT! The Hufflepuff Prefect cleared his throat and hoped to dear Gilderoy that he didn't have to give Lola an award, he was actually pretty clueless about this whole deal, especially considering that he didn't even got to go to the lagoon, heh. "Right, so, I'll be handing out trophies as well...so it seems," he said, eyes toward Iris and then picking up the first of the trophies he was giving out, there were eight total, but only four awards. "Outstanding Performance trophies, that is," he added, with a WINK. So, these were the ones who outdid themselves, eh? AWESOME! "To Ryden Di Marco and Gwendolyn Green from Ravenclaw, congratulations on thinking your way through the hunt," he said, as he gave each of them their trophy. A smile was giving to each of them. Mmmhmmm. Next. He'd rather be getting trophies than handing them out, by the way, "To...," his smile widened, "Harper Crickette and Renesmee Dixon from Hufflepuff, congrats for all your hard work," especially Cricket, since she had to work with both Lola and Sierra, that wasn't easy, he knew. Treyen handed them a trophy to each of them. As he went to pick the other two, he froze, but still took them and called out for the one he didn't want to call out for, "To Evelyn Flores and Lola Jones, congrats for being cunning enough to play along," he said, adding a wink that JOSH wouldn't be able to see as he handed them their trophies. :P "And last, but not least...," he started to say, before a slight blush made its way to his cheeks, "To...Kurumi Hollingberry and Josh Carter, congratulations...for, well, your outstandingly brave performance," he finally said, handing them the trophies. |
Simon had been standing off in the back as they trophies were given out to those who earned them. His tasks for the event were long since over so they surely didn't need him anymore so he was relativelky quiet, applauding though as each member of his house was called forward to receieve them. "Great job...all of you," he replied with a bright smile. His applauding getting louder as the last trophy was handed out...that which he had helped chose and who included two of his friends. |
Magical Soul, fire_faerie - SORRY for being late. It happened all too soon. One minute he was grinning like an idiot and another - some girl was bickering with Ryden. He murmured an awkward thank you when she forced out 'great effort'. He did not really understand what she was aiming at. Did she not like him for some reason? Or did she not like that Ryden had won a trophy which had someone else's name on it. Orlando, however, felt his chest fill a little with fluttery heart beats when Ryden took his side - telling the rude girl, he did very good - he squeezed her hand back. When the bickering took an ugly turn to name calling like 'shrimp' and 'weird' - Orlando stepped it. "Can you please not ruin the moment for us?" he asked, in the most gentle tone he could master up. He did not want to be rude. He wanted to keep smiling! He wanted to keep Ryden HAPPY. Happy Ryden was just beautiful! Orlando didn't really notice the rude girl walking away because at that moment, more trophies were being given away. Orlando's happiness couldn't have reached more to it's limits when Ryden won yet another trophy. The boy, took nothing into account - like the people around - and pulled Ryden into a bear hug, a very tight hug - arms wrapped round her small body and repeating 'Congratulations' again and again. "You deserve it, Ryden!" he said, before pulling away. "Go on! GO TAKE IT!" |
SPOILER!!: Iris Nessie had come to sit at the Great Hall, for some award giving, for the Mermaid hunt that she had participated in. Nessie doubted she'd hear her name for any of the trophies, but she decided she'd come be a good sport and listen anyway. Nessie was half listening half not. She was pretty tired, and wasn't that focused. She then heard the Head Girl, Iris call her name. Why would Iris, be calling her of all people. Nessie looked up a little shocked. The Head Girl seemed to be calling her for a trophy. Nessie's mouth opened as she walked forward to get the trophy."Thanks!'said Nessie as she reached the Head Girl. She then went back and took her seat. It was pretty and Shiny! It said four names on it, the four names were written in a goldish colour. Nessie thought it was very pretty, and she couldnt wait to show it to her parents. SPOILER!!: Trey Nessie then went back into unfocused mode. Starting to think about the fight she had with Tyler the other day. It was a pretty hectic fight and Nessie still needed to sort things out with Tyler so they could be friends again. Nessie thought she was imagineing but she did hear her name again. Nessie looked up this time to see that Trey, had called it. Nessie got up again and walked over to Trey, so she could recieve her Trophy. "Thanks!" said Nessie with a wide smile. She then waited for Trey to give the other students their trophies. Once he was done, she decided she was board and thought it be fun to go and talk to him. It would at least distract her mind right? "So How You been?" she asked looking up at the Prefect. |
Text Cut: Ryden and Orlando :D Louisa blinked. Twice. First for being called Shrimp and then for being scolded by the lion boy -__- She was ruining their moment? Why? She hadn't called Ryden names like the latter did! She ever apologized to the boy! Hmph. So much for being a nice girl. When Ryden's name was called again, Louisa swallowed a lump forming in her throat and walked away with a hurt look at the boy... only. The girl could be dealt with, but that boy was just.. not nice. And if they wanted to celebrate alone, then fine, she wasn't intending on lingering around longer anyways. Better go find Vashti or Kita. They appreciated her company! |
Iris watched as Treyen gave out the last eight trophies, smiling proudly as the students came to receive them. Stepping forwards once more, the head girl spoke up and addressed everyone. "There's one last thing to give out. Something that EVERYONE is going to get one of... well, provided that you took part in the scavenger hunt. We've made some... certificates...; keepsakes, for everyone who took part, as a small thank you and a congrats." Eugh. That was worded horribly. They weren't proper certificates, anyway... Never mind. She turned back to the table, and picked up a large stack of paper. Levitating them, she sent the stack off around the room for everyone to take one as the stack passed them. Keeping her wand and mind focused on the certificates, Iris spoke up again. "Put them on display somewhere for everyone to see, or chuck it at the bottom of your trunk to never see the light of day again... I don't care what you do with them." "And... thanks, I guess. This whole event would have failed if you lot didn't show up, so thank you. All of you." Of course, there was the prefects, too... They were the most important part of the whole thing. Iris was planning something for in the first week of the summer for them, though. |
SPOILER!!: LOOOOOOOOLA! XD Kurumi had almost wished that she hadn't asked the moment Lola had turned her crazed gaze on Kurumi. Kurumi jumped back a bit in surprise when the Slytherin threw herself at the third year's feet. "L-L-Lola you really don't need to do tha--" But it was clear that she wasn't listening. Kurumi wasn't sure which situation had been more awkward, Queen Flobberworm flopping around in the kitchen or her current predicament of a flailing...Kelpie? Wait...how did she become a Kelpie?! Did that mean that Lola was part flobberworm, part kelpie, and part mermaid?! Well, Kurumi wasn't to keen on the part flobberworm and kelpie bit, but being part mermaid certainly seemed like an amazing thing to be part. Did that mean that when Lola touched water she grew a tail? "Moon Shine and Sparkle Bow..." Kurumi repeated blinking awkwardly. Didn't mermaids sing to each other when they wanted to find each other? Or was that only something she had seen in films and read about in books? "P-P-Perhaps they will find you if you sing?" Kurumi was rather eager to meet mermaids that were full mermaid and not one third. Quote:
Where was Josh? They really should accept this award together. Quote:
|
Quote:
But...oh of course Lola had a reaction to that comment. Harper bit her tongue, wishing she had just told her it was lovely or absolutely stunning or marvelous instead. She looked Lola from the tail up, refrained from shaking her head, and just smiled. "Of course it's real. I was just...you know, saying it because...others might...be jealous." Riiight. She gave Lola a seemingly knowing little wink. Quote:
No stinkin way. SERIOUSLY? She found herself clapping with glee and bouncing over to Trey to get her award. She took in her hands, still beaming. Ooooh it was all nice and had her name on ittt!! "Thank you, Treeeeyen!" she said, a squeal starting in her throat but she managed to tone it down in front of everyone. OH GOSH HOW COOL WAS THIS? Should she say a few words? After all, that was what people who got awards did. :shifty: Naw...she had already thanked Treyen. No need to get all annoying on everyone's butts. She found herself stroking the award without realizing it, gazing at everyone else as they accepted their own, still smiling. Her preciousssss... |
iRearrange ;) Quote:
So, to sum up, Treyen got no trophy, no certificate, and currently...no girl. That was someone to look up to, no? He frowned when she said she didn't care what they did with the certificates. That was rather funny, actually, since she's worked rather hard on getting everything done as well. But the Prefects and Captains should still get something, no? Treyen smiled as she thanked them all, what she said was true. Quote:
Treyen still needed to ask her how the second task was for her, but just by seeing her here he knew that she'd done well. Quote:
"My pleasure," he said, with a smile on his face. The bouncing was rather amusing, to say the least. Quote:
Treyen chuckled at her question, "Slightly busy, rather tired, but amazingly good," he said, his smile widening, "How about you? Busy times at the Lagoon?" he had to ask, since he never made it there. |
Quote:
Oooh no. Iris had planned something for her prefects. Nothing big, nothing too fancy. Just something nice enough to show her genuine thanks. 'Course... she'd not mentioned this to any of them... Nah. She'd get onto that later. |
Quote:
Her sort-of question made him smirk a little bit. So, he wasn't going to be the one with no trophy, no certificate and no girl, right? They were getting something? AWESOME! Trixie was still his favorite Head Girl, though, soooo Iris better not try to buy him out. "I was starting to think you did," he said, as his eyes turned to her. Treyen was now smiling, Iris didn't need to say anything else, unless she needed to tell them (Prefects and Captains) something, of course. |
Quote:
Kurumi shook her head. She needed to stop thinking like that, right? Looking up through her eyelashes, Kurumi smiled again, but still felt a little awkward accepting the trophy that also had Josh's name on it without him there. She couldn't very well continue to stand there the entire time though, could she? Glancing back at Treyen again, Kurumi had a flash back to her task in fighting the boggart and her heart sank just for an instant. Her expression faded, but it then brighten a bit when she remembered what all had come from it all. "T-T-Treyen," she squeaked, tugging on his robes for a moment to get his attention, you know, just in case he forgot she was still there. "Was the point of this entire hunt to help us see the house qualities we posses?" Because, after fighting her boggart, she felt the most Gryffindor she had ever felt. |
Quote:
Quote:
Oh... and Iris was just going to pretend that she didn't notice the winking and blushing that was going on between the two. |
Quote:
He peered into the bag, "What are they?" He asked. They looked like common jelly babies. But he didn't trust anything in this place. |
Quote:
Iris had just gave him one more reason to keep on smiling. "Sounds good." He finally said, looking from Iris to...yes, Kurumi, we see you, we ALWAYS see you. Quote:
He couldn't help but smile when she tugged at his robes, that was hardly necessary, his eyes were on her. And...she asked a question? Treyen resisted the urge to look toward Iris. Wasn't the whole point of this hunt to find the forgotten lagoon and that? Yes, but no. Kurumi was on the right track, but not precisely correct. Knowing how she felt about belonging in Gryffindor didn't make answering this question any easier. "Can I answer with a 'Yes' and 'No' at the same time?" he asked, slightly joking, "Don't answer that," because he was going to explain this to her, and ONLY her, which is why his eyes were focused on the Gryffindor standing before him and he lowered his voice. "The point wasn't just that, but each task was designated according to whatever qualities each of the Houses possess," he started to say, that's why all Prefects and Captains had participated, "So, if by any chance, it helped you see that you truly belong in your House...well, that's a plus...but I already knew it," the last part was said in almost a whisper, Iris wouldn't be able to catch his whole sentence. "And team work, of course," which is necessary in Hogwarts. |
Text Cut: Treyen, Louisa and Koala Boy! <3 SEE? THIS WAS WHY SHE PUNCHED PEOPLE. They were INFURIATING. Ryden was TALKING to the girl and she had just blatantly ignored her, stalking away to probably find the one or two people in the school who like her. MEH. Scowling at the girl's back, the brunette turned back to Orlando, smiling slightly for he had indeed intervened at the right moment; this Lousia girl really HAD ruined their moment. Psht. Opening her mouth, Ryden was about to make some snarky remark about Hogwartians in general when she heard her name being called AGAIN and her eyes widened. She won ANOTHER trophy? OH OH YES. She had just managed to let out a yelp of excitement when Orlando... did something. He hugged her. Hugged her TIGHT. And she didn't even pull away. Ryden was not a hugger, see. She did not appreciate people touching her and usually preferred little to no human contact at all. When her own AUNT had tried to hug her she'd recoiled in disgust. But when Koala Boy's giant frame enveloped her in a tight hug... She didn't feel uncomfortable. IN FACT, and this was the REALLY strange part, she possibly felt even HAPPIER. Weird, right? Grinning like Aunt Lea on Christmas, Ryden walked quickly over to the prefect, from whom she took her trophy and uttered a quick thank you before making her way back to Orlando with BOTH her trophies. Perhaps she should give him one? ... Yeaaaahhh. She'd show it to Bridget, and THEN give it to Orlando. Since, you know, she had TWO. Hehe. The Louisa person completely forgotten, Ryden beamed at the taller boy and held up both of her trophies. "I did it! WE did it!" she exclaimed with a grin, and before she could think about what she was doing, rose uponto her tiptoes and kissed Orlando lightly on the cheek. ... And THEN, before he could see her |
Quote:
How was she? Ness thought for a while. She was doing good, well today she was and as for the lagoon she had only managed to go once. "I'm doing fine, just had a bit of a crazy day yesterday!" Said Ness. She kinda hoped Trey would'nt ask why, but she kinda knew that it was coming. "And as for the lagoon, I've only actually been once!" Ness then wondered if Trey had been. He probably had, but since he was a Prefect he could have been too busy."So have you been to the lagoon"asked Nessie. |
Orlando Renaldi clapped, perhaps the loudest when Ryden went to collect her trophy, he couldn't even resist his next urge - and put two of his fingers in his mouth and whistled LOUD. He was proud. He was happy. It was however the aftermath of the clapping, cheering and whistling which he was not ready for - yet it made him grin wide. Ryden Di Marco stood on her toes and kissed him on the cheek. "Wow .." the boy whispered, looking down at her - eyes glinting with happiness. He had received many kisses on the cheeks - yes, from mum and sister, from grand mother and great grandmother, from aunts and great aunts but NONE from a girl with such pretty hair and such adorable hands. Orlando was mesmerized. When she leaned into him - trying her hardest perhaps to hide how she was blushing - Orlando put his arm round her and squeezed her closer. Yes, closer. It felt like the most right thing to do. I made his gut knot but he liked it. He loved it. "I am so proud of you, Ryden" Orlando said softly. "And you really do look lovely when you blush like that." he added when he was unable to resist. |
Kurumi too Quote:
It made the boy glance back at the weird mermaid swimsuit in question. No. No. No. No way... There was no way he was wearing something like that. It was girly! It was for girls. So, it was not meant to be worn by a guy. Especially not him! She did not mean the eact outfit? ''Well...then. Since there's no other outfit like that around that would fit me, i think this conversation is...over.'' Yeah, it was over yet he was saying that. He always knew Evelyn would object and went on with it if she wanted to anyway regardless of what he had said. Eh. That was really tough luck. But he was going to fight it to the end!!! ''What i have agreed with was nothing like that!'' Quote:
Then it happened! The thing to save him happened!!! It was great! Perfect awesome. Not only it was totally enough to distract her from the topic of him wearing that swimsuit, it had also been announced that his beloved had a trophy. ''WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!'' he exclaimed happily waving his arms about. Then, this time he had to do it, he dropped her hand and clapped for her as loudly as he could!!! Quote:
Huh? Oh. Okay. Smiling and nodding. He grabbed Evelyn's hand back and walked forward as well, tugging her with himself, to get the trophy. His girlfriend got a trophy too. So, they could get it together. Giving a quick smile at Kurumi, he turned to Treyen ''Well...thank you.'' Then he was busy watching his beloved she-snake all over again. Quote:
When his eyes found the bestie, Josh gave him a thumb up, yea not thumbs up, a thumb up because that was what he could do now and smirked. ''Great job of yours as well, captain!'' |
Lola too *shifty* in the middle part Quote:
He did! She heard it with her own two ears! SPOILER!!: Josh and TrainBoy *eyes you* hehe However, before she could continue on with how she HEARD that he AGREED... ....WHAAAAT!? Her gaze snapped over to TrainBoy. Did he just call out her name? She wasn't quite sure because Josh pretty much made her deaf. She saw that wink though. She didn't like it. It either meant, 'HA! We gave you a trophy on purpose' or 'HA! We gave you a trophy alongside Lola'. She didn't like either of those. They put her with Lola on purpose, didn't they? "Yaaay..." she muttered, having no choice but to follow Josh up to get their trophies. She clapped a little for Josh though. Slightly. Since it was a bit hard to clap with one hand, he got a half clap. Glancing over to Lola though, she smirked before gesturing to the trophy. Yea, she could have it. Even if it had her name on it too, she was sure carrying TWO trophies would be a lot more exciting. Quote:

Text Cut: KOALA BOY! <3 "Wow"? REALLY? Now WHAT in Merlin's bloody underwear was SHE supposed to say? Wow back? Pffft. Silly boy. But Ryden couldn't help her grin, nor could she help the way her mood was swinging up and up and and not looking to come down for a while. And to think, this morning, she'd been sure this was going to be just any old boring day at Hogwarts. Clearly not. Allowing his arm to pull her closer - though how much MORE closer she could get was up for debate, as she was practically molded into his chest by this point. Oh well. The brunette tightened her grip on Orlando's hand as he said he was proud of her, beaming from ear to ear. If anyone else had said that she'd have boxed their ears for being condescending but somehow she knew that he didn't mean it like that... because he might ACTUALLY be proud o- Oh, BLOODY HELL. Ryden's jaw dropped in an indignant gasp and she swiveled around to face him, her face redder than ever. "I am NOT blushing. I don't blush. I have no... no... no REASON to blush. My face is just red from the SUN, Orlando," she stated, folding her arms around her chest and GLARING at him. Though, if one looked super closely, they could see that the corners of her lips were twitching and that her hands, held together out of sheer force of will, were actually not fisted. AND, that Ryden's anger burst was fading as quickly as it had come. But that was only visible if one looked closely. *COUGH* |
Quote:
Treyen had none. Though, he didn't care as much anymore, mainly because he knew that Iris had something for them as well. Quote:
Treyen was starting to get concerned thanks to how long it was taking her to say how she was. And then she answered, finally. "Yesterday?" didn't the hunt happen today? Or had he overslept or something? Probably not, which meant that something must have happened to her yesterday. At least she had the pretty nice day today, no? "Did you enjoy it there?" that's what his former question had been all about. "As a matter of fact, I have, probably two or three times," he started to say, while nodding, "You know, to get things ready for you guys," but did he visit it while they were all there? No. Quote:
'Thank you'. Right, no problem. Quote:
...well, a genius was a totally different |
Wer'e going to Pretend Nessie's fight was yesterday! Okay? ^_^ Quote:
Nessie looked at Trey, trying to figure why he was asking it so questionally. She then realised he must have thought, that today should be crazier. "Yeah Yesterday." said Ness trying to avoid the thought of Yesterday, but it was her fault after all that the subject came up. "It was Amazing! Infact This whole hunt was AMAZING!!". Nessie couldn't thank Trey and the other Prefects and Captains enough. They did an excellent job! Nessie gave Trey a small friendly hug of thanks hopping he wouldn't mind. He just needed to know in some way how amazing they had all made the hunt. "Thank you!" She was kinda adressing all the people who put this together, but she was a bit shy to do it properly. So he had been there, Ness was right in both ways he had been, but only to do Prefect duties."Its beautiul, isn't it?" asked Ness wanting to know what Trey thought of the place. |
Quote:
"I'm glad you liked it, then," he was saying that on behalf of all the Prefects and Captains, pretty much. "Shows how far group efforts take you," his eyes were on her as he said this, because he didn't know what had happened yesterday, but if it involved someone else, then it was best to try and forget about it, right? He wasn't one to forget so easily, though. He knew that was a very hard thing to do. Beautiful. The word, he thought, didn't suited the lagoon, and he was beginning to see what his favorite Ravenclaw had been telling him all along. Fine, he understood, but that Ravenclaw was still wrong. "It's one of the prettiest hidden treasures of Hogwarts," there, he didn't agree nor disagreed. Fair enough. |
Quote:
She frowned, "They're Jelly Babies..." she said, what did they look like..? Did muggle ones look different? Well... they probably didn't scream when you bit into them but they must look the same... |
Quote:
He was still suspicious, "Just normal jelly babies?" They did look like real jelly babies. Maybe he could have just one. He'd wait for her to have one too. |
Quote:
Aurora took a Jelly Baby and swallowed it whole, "Mmmmm..." shame you don't get to hear the screams when you swallow them whole. "Well... yeah... I haven't poisoned them or anything." she said, did he really not trust her..? Probably a good thing, she was a little... mischievous... |
Quote:
Ewwww she swallowed it whole. That was gross. The whole point of a jelly baby was that you bit it's head or legs off first. He used to stick two together to make a GIANT, super tall jelly baby. "Poison? You would do that? Really?" OMG crazy!!! Maybe he would stick to not eating her jelly babies then. |
Quote:
Ness nodded as Trey said that it was one of the prettiest hidden treasures of Hogwarts, because it sure was. It was such a special place. Nessie wished she could go back right that second and stay there forever. Ness then had a thought which came out of nowhere. She wasn't much of the random type, but this thought was deffinately random. 'Um.. Trey have you met Damien yet?" asked Ness. She just wanted to make sure Damien had a guy friend, because Ness knew that Damien was pretty shy and Ness was just concered for her friend, as she thought everyone needed a friend that they could relate too. Ness knew Damien thought she was a friend, but she was more like a little sister to him. Well thats how Ness thought of it. Nessie just wanted to make sure that he had some other friends too. |
Quote:
"No... that's the point... I mean... I wouldn't do that! Anyway; I just ate one." she shook the paper bag at him temptingly. |
Quote:
|
Quote:
It was perfectly clear to him that when people got together in groups, then they'll act quickly to whatever problem they had, no? Still, he didn't know anything about 'yesterday' nor did he really want to ask about it if it was only going to bring bad memories into her mind. That's the last he wanted, at least when she had had a perfectly good day. Ah! The change of topic was well received, and he smiled widely at the mention of Damien, "I have!" he exclaimed, Treyen really liked him, he was quiet enough not to make the dormitory noisier, and talkative enough to be liked by the Lockhart boy. "Well, I've met him recently, and we share dormitories," since they were in their fifth year. "Is he a friend of yours?" he asked, knowing that the answer was probably going to be 'Yes', and hoping that it truly was. He didn't think Damien could get in trouble with Nessie, right? |
Quote:
Ness smiled and looked up as he said that he had. So at least now she knew Damien had other friends. "Really?" she asked. She just wanted to make sure. Nessie was really happy for Damien, and Trey ofcourse. It was good that they knew each other wasn't it? So thats how they had met, they shared dormitories, which made sense of course. They must have both been in the same year. At the next question, Ness had to think a little. To her Damien was a good, good friend, he was sort of like a bigger brother to her. Only thing was she didn't exactly know what Damien thought of her, she just hoped Damien, and Trey too didn't think she was an annoying little first year, because Ness was sure there were some people which sadly thought like that, but Damien and Trey wouldn't Right? Ness hoped not. Thinking of a good answer to the question, Ness looked at Trey again. "Well he's my friend, but I don't know if I'm his." |
Quote:
Wait, she didn't believe him? "Yup," the simplest answer ever. Well, he knew Damien, he didn't know if he was a friend, though, he kept many things to himself, but Treyen liked to count him as one, really. The Prefect actually laughed when she answered, "Funny. That's how I think of him too. I'd like to think of him as a friend, not sure if he considers me one either," true, and it's not like Treyen was going to be asking such a thing, as long as he was a great person to hang around with, then he didn't mind. "I'm curious, though, why did you ask if I knew him?" Treyen knew the boy was rather shy, but he seemed to be getting along pretty well with Hufflepuffs, especially if he was acquainted with Nessie. |
Quote:
She had made so much noise yesterday, because she was shouting so much. She then started thinking of Tyler again, but her eyes started getting a little watery, so she stopped and focused back to Trey instead. Ness giggled as he thought of Damien as the same as her. Damien was probably just a quiet type, and he was probably not the type to get way to close to people."Maybe its just the way he is." Said Ness with a straight face, she was deep in thought trying to figure out Damien. Ness stepped out of her thought cloud when she heard Trey speak again. "Oh.. Um.. I just wanted to make sure he had other friend, friends more his age." Ness hoped Trey wouldn't think she was being silly for checking. |
sorry it took so long >_< Text Cut: Nessie Oh, wait, what? She got into a fight? She? Sweet little first year Nessie? "Oh," he said, and frowned only a little bit, "You're alright, though?" she looked completely fine, so the fight probably wasn't a physical one, but if words were said, like with Simon and Penny, well, apologies may be expected. On all parties. He missed the eyes getting watery somehow, and it was a good thing he did, because tears made him panic, and he was in a room when it was better not to do so. "Yeah, he's the quiet type," he nodded, with a smile, "I like him, though, he's a cool boy," true, he was, and he didn't ask too much questions either, at least not personal ones. Treyen's smile widened before commenting, "Well, he's got one, at least," and wasn't Damien also friends with Isobel? True, she wasn't on their same year, but it was close enough. Maybelle was on their same year, though, he probably knew her as well. |
OOC: Permission from Dot for Sierra to take the trophy from Lola. Text Cut: RachieRu, dingDong and SnitCHchASER Hmm. Sierra wasn't much for swimming. She was, just...not really in situations such as this one. She'd stick around for sometime longer just to see what this was all about, and then she might just head back to the common room. She was watching Lola in amusement when the Head Boy, whatever his name was, got up to make a speech. She finally tuned in when heard her name. Oh? ...a trophy? She smiled, although it was a very small smile, and headed up to accept the award. Just as she reached out to grab, it LOLA JONES snatched it up. Sierra glared at the girl. This just wouldn't do. She watched the girl put on an embarrassing show for Kurumi. Something about mermaids and how to become one. Whatever. Maybe Hollingberry would listen well, actually become a mermaid, and then swim far, far away. It was wishful thinking, at least. When Lola waved the trophy through the air, Sierra made a grab for it. "I know a charm," she announced, looking at Harper, as well. She waved her wand, duplicated the trophy twice, and then gave a trophy each to Lola and Harper. "There. Now we all have one." Her good deed for the year was done. Actually, she just wanted to ensure she got to take home a trophy. Whatever, though. |
Quote:
Am I alright? I actually don't know thought Ness to herself. A lot of things had been happening, this fight was just one of those many things. Nessie was feeling kinda terrible. What she had done yesterday was fairly wrong, but the things that Tyler had said to her, it just really hurt. She felt like she was becoming friendless and lonely. She felt like the complete opposite of a Hufflepuff. "I'm kinda fine." She said lying. She just hopped Trey would believe her, because she was a terrible lier. Ness managed to keep the tears inside. She knew most boys hated tears. She was fairly good at keeping them inside, as she had been doing it for quite some time. "He is." Said Nessie nodding. She liked Damien too. There was just something ab out Damien that always made her laugh."I like him too, there's just something about him." Ness smiled that Trey said he had at least one friend. "Yeah I gues!" She said. "He has more then me." Ness didn't exactly want to say what she just did, but it blurted out from nowhere. She looked down, ashamed. She now guessed that Trey could definitely see she was not alright, but trying to be positive she hoped he couldn't. |
