Selena nodded. "I'm going to assume the kid didn't like shaking hands or else was afraid touching anything would give him or her diseases," she said with a little smile before she continued to eat the sweetness called candy called jelly beans.

"Durmstrang? Did you like it there though?" she asked. Honestly, Durmstrang seemed a bit too cold for her tastes but this wasn't her attending the school was it? She continued to shove jelly beans into her mouth. She glanced out the window to sneak a peek of either the crowds of people or the train moving, she had never really been able to tell without looking out the window.

Selena grinned proudly when he asked her what house she was in. "Slytherin, duh, it's the best house there is," she said. The house of the cunning, not the house of the stuck up purebloods. Despite the prejudices against the house, there were loads of friendly people in there! "Well, I heard you could also choose your own house by telling the hat which one you want to be in, but I'm not really sure about that, I never tried," Selena said. It didn't really matter seeing as she was already in the house she wanted to be and that was good enough for her.

Ah now she felt better already, with the sugar and Diggy being here. All she needed to do was find Emma later and she would be jumping off the walls... hopefully not literally.

Hugo looked back at Fee.
A bit of eyecontact was always nice, Hugo thought.

Sleeping? Now that was an idea Hugo liked.
He closed his eyes and cuddled Tigger for a moment.
"I think... About... 5 hours..." Hugo yawned and giggled a bit inside.

"Fee... I'm going to take a nap too... If you're tired, you can use my shoulder as a pillow... If you want..." Hugo told Fee.

Zoe strolled through the train until she found an empty compartment. She sat down by the window and put her white and orange kitten, Tigger, in her lap.

"Hey Zoe" joey said still wearing a dress.She hugged her cute kitten i have a olw named buster and a crupie name LoLo and Puppie Named Rocky and a white kitten name snowball and prgmy puff named lighting.i love anmails she said with a smile.Would like snack i have sandwiches and chips.

"Hey Joey!" Zoe's jaw dropped as Joey rattled off the names of animal after animal. "Are you serious? That's amazing! I love animals, too! But my mom, unfortunately, doesn't." she replied, flashing Joey a goofy frown. "No thanks, about the snack. I just had lunch. Thanks, though." she smiled politely.

Margery looked around, waiting for a fellow ravenclaw to notice her. this was after all her first year. she was nervous very nervous, and thats new for her.

Satine hurried through the train trying to find an empty compartment or a familiar face. As she moved along, her blue heels clicking on the floor, she saw a wide eyed young lady that looked like a first year. She smiled sweetly and then held out her hand to the little girl.

"Howzit! I'm Satine, sixth year Ravvie. Can I help you find anything? the food trolley maybe or a compartment to sit in." that was Satine always trying to help out others...she glanced down at the little girl and wondered what house she would be sorted into when they got there...maybe it would be Ravvie and Satine would have a firstie acquiantance. Deciding to be even more friendly, she began with the questions, "So where are you from?" she said pushing a stray bright purple strand of hair behind her left ear.

Salina walked down the corridor with her white persian kitten, Zara, until she found a compartment with space in it.

She found a compartment with this little girl, who looked her age with Margery delicately embroidered on her robes and a few other students, Salina, not a very tall girl, tried to heave her trunk into the overhead compartment.

That was when she remembered the spell she had read in her Charms textbook. "Wingardium Leviosa." and with a swish and flick of her wand, the trunk was up in the overhead compartment.

Salina poked her head into the compartment. "You don't mind, do you?" she said, grinning, while twisting her platinum blonde hair into a high ponytail and securing it with a blue tie.

Eino was startled by Hugo's grand entrance but was happy to his friend nonetheless. "Hello Hugo. I'm... good, you know, excited." Eino lied, partly. He was excited to arrive at Hogwarts, but not to experience the train trip there. Luckily, the train had departed by now and Eino began to count down the hours, minutes, and seconds until the arrival. "How are you? How was your summer?" He asked taking Fautus from the seat and placing it on his lap to allow for more sitting space, in case others joined them. Last year, Hugo had told Eino about all of the exciting things he would do during the summer at his brother's house, and now he wanted to hear all about it.

Eino was jealous Kurumi had permission to go to Hogsmead, but he didn't really mind spending time by himself in a lonely Hogwarts. It was nice and peaceful, plus he got to stalk the house elves to see what they did when people were away. The library? To research about her family? Sounded interesting, but he was completely unaware Hogwarts had a collection of people's family trees and family history, maybe he should look at his family and see what he could find. Perhaps, his great-great-great-great-grandfather had been Tapio and his great-great-great-great-grandmother Meilikki! Well, that was unlikely, but it would still be exciting to learn more about his family's past since all he knew was that they were Finnish and had always lived in Finland until recently. "That sounds exciting!" He carelessly broke Kurumi's silence and cautions behavior. "Oh, sorry." He leaned closer to her and lowered his voice. "Do you mind if I join you?"

"Really? What does Lafay teach?" Zoe asked, intrigued. She hadn't really given a thought to the teachers at Hogwarts before and now, thinking about it, she probably should have asked. "Are there any others I should watch for?"

"Yeah, I've told my mom that, but she doesn't listen. It's not so much that I'm not responsible. She knows I am, thats why she let me get Tigger! It's more of the fact that she really dislikes animals," she said with a chuckle.

"Ah, you hated trains," Hugo laughed.
"Don't worry, I'll distract you from the... Scaryness of this train."
He looked at the cactus. That was quite the pet.
"Meh. It was pretty boring. Turns out you get in a lot of trouble if you practice spells at home, that sucks!" he told Eino.
"How was your Finlandish vacation? Enjoyed the woods?" he said.
Then he got distracted by Fee. Then he got distracted by Walnut and Tigger.
Then he looked back at Eino. "By the way, I think you should like... Befriend Adam. It seems to me he does not like you spending time with Kurumi, so they kindof, had a discussion about having a cactus as a pet." Hugo wasn't sure if that made any sense, but yeah. "This is tigger," Hugo said pointing to the furry little kitty on his lap. "Adam's kitteh cat." He stroked the kitty cat. So cute. And it hadn't killed him yet, which was, you know, good. "Adam told me it was quite aggresive, but I don't see it yet."

Rene wondered the train looking at the compartments of new and old students the ones that would be joining her in the classes this year. She was indulged in a book for her Runes class as she walked along the narrow way making sure that she would not run into anyone as she passed them. Giving a smile as she passed only pausing to see if she new anyone and then continuing her walk.

Quirrha wandered into the train, looking for an empty compartment. Having found none, she settled for one filled with her fellow Ravenclaws. She continued walking until she saw one with a Ravenclaw boy in it. "Hi!" She greeted.

Meredith smiled. Jenny seemed really nice. "Oh well thats cool! Really? Haha, why do you think that is?" Meredith asked. She always questioned everything. That was a bad habit of hers.

The truth was, she was looking forward to absolutely everything at hogwarts. "Hmm, Well obviously the great hall. And being able o watch quiddtich all the time!" The reason Meredith said "watch" and not "play" was because, well she stunk at quidditch. But one of her favorite things to do was watch it.

The blondes eyebrow remained in the upright position as she continued to look at her friend. She didn't believe her and it wasn't fair to keep going on about it. If she said she was fine, then obviously whatever was bothering her was best kept a secret. "Okay. But remember I'm always here if you need someone to talk to" she smiled softly, the kind that told you that she was telling the truth.

"Not really" her eyes lifted up to properly look at Vashti. "I just.. Don't really wanna go to Hogwarts without my Best Friend" she looked down at the floor sadly, the sigh evident in her voice. "I just need to distract myself thats all" she shook her head lightly, took a deep breath and ended up with a small smile to Spatulaclaw. "Just gonna miss him thats all" she concluded and looked out the window momentarily.

Trixie wasn't expecting a hug, but she really appreciated the fact she did get one, she NEEDED one. "Thank you" she grinned. "I'm quite nervous about it actually.. Wasn't expecting the badge" she told her. YES. Distract her thoughts! "That was what I was doing actually, patrolling the corridors and stuff" until she got distracted of course.

"Hello," Hugo exclaimed. New first-years, yes!"Welcome to Hogwarts, I'm Hugo Doyle, Ravenclaw second year." Hugo extended his hand for the girl to shake. This girl was the first firstie he had met yet, and he was excited about meeting new people. And about not being first year anymore. "And you? What house do you hope to be in?" he asked the nice girl, then looked at Eino. That guy sure didn't like trains. The car they were in was wobbling like crazy though. He wondered what was up.

"My whole family came from Slytherin, although I doubt I'll be one." She shrugged, shaking his hand. Hugo was the first person she'd talk to, so she was still undeniably shy. "Hopefully a Ravenclaw too."

Okay, he really had been minding his own business. But sometimes, when you hear something, you just have to comment on it, even if it's not of your business. Take now, for example.

"Excuse me," Dal said, hurrying to catch up with a girl that had just walked past him. "But, Mccuddlemuffins?" he held back a snort. Was that seriously her cat's name? Poor thing.

Although... he really had no room to talk, with Bartholomew Jackson the First sleeping in his cage right now...

Speaking of Barty...

Dallin turned around sharply as the owl started hooting and squawking - just like Dallin had wished he wouldn't. He looked around for the bird, and saw it's cage on the floor, on top of a person. Dal stood there confused for a little before bursting into laughter. He wasn't laughing at the person, really, just at what had happened to him.

"We're cool," he said brightly, setting Barty's cage right-side-up before shaking the kid's hand. "Don't worry about it. I'm Dallin." He added. It was then that he realized that Barty was still acting like he was being attacked. Rolling his eyes, Dal threw the blanket back over the bird cage, and the owl instantly shut up. "Sorry about that dumb bird."

"Well, either Slytherin or Ravenclaw, it doesn't matter, both contain extremely awesome people," he told the girl and pointed to Fee. "Fee's a Slyterin, and she is extremely awesome. Then he pointed at Eino. "That's Eino, and he's a Ravenclaw. He's also extremely awesome. So no matter what, you will always be awesome," he winked at the girl. "You'll have a great time at Hogwarts. What did you say your name was again?" he asked. Hugo was kindof all over the place today. He remembered how shy he was in his first year. But... Come on, these people must love him for calling them extremely awesome, right? That ought to make up for his annoying grand entrance.

Quirrha blinked at Hugo. "Well someone's certainly hyper." She thought to herself. She didn't really like her name. Curse her parents for trying to be unique. "I'm Quirrha - spelled as Q-u-i-r-r-h-a, pronounced as Kiara - Buckingham." Whenever she introduced herself, she felt the need to spell out her name. It was an odd habit, honestly. She nodded at the others, waving.

Lizzie slipped into an empty compartment - which surely must have been some kind of miracle, considering how full all the others looked - and sat down gratefully. She'd walked all the way from Covent Gardens to catch the train that morning, and she'd had the stupid trunk to drag around. And Lollipop the owl, too. People had been giving her weird looks all day....

She grabbed her trunk and shoved into the overhead compartment, and then turned to move Lolli's cage, which was sitting in the doorway. She put it on the seat opposite her, and threw in a few owl pellets. Then she sat back down and dug in her satchel for a book, and maybe her iPod.

Gah, now Vashti felt even worse, though she told herself not to. Perhaps she ought to tell Trixie what was wrong with her...some other time. Now just didn't seem right anymore. So she just smiled again and said, "Thanks."

Without her best friend? ...Oh right, that Oliver guy. The one Trixie had been crying about at last term's end of the year feast. "I see," she said thoughtfully before smiling just a little. "Maybe you should've shrunk him and stuffed him into your trunk so you wouldn't be without him. That's what I would've done." If she had a best friend that had graduated, that is, which she didn't because...well honestly, now that she thought about it, she wasn't really sure who her best friend was.

"There's no need to be nervous, Trixie. You'll be a great Head Girl," Vashti said with a sincere smile. It sure did feel nice to smile and actually mean it for once. "Oh. Well if you need to get back to your patrolling, don't let me stop you." Even though she didn't really want Trixie to leave because for once Vashti didn't want to be alone, the Slytherin's HG duties were really far more important.

Eino could feel tension between himself, Adam, and Fautus. "I am sorry you feel threatened by my masculinity and friendship with Kurumi, but I don't like her in that way." Eino said very mellowly trying to alleviate the tension and defuse any potential rivalry between the two. Kurumi was nothing more than a friend to Eino and Adam needed to realize that AND SIT DOWN get over it. "I'm Eino." He said with a genuine smile. "It's very nice to meet you Adam." He didn't even know the boy existed. Kurumi had never mentioned an Adam or that she had a boyfriend, so he was a little surprised, but maybe Adam wouldn't be so annoying when he realized Kurumi and Eino were just friends.

Eino was disappointed to hear that Hugo's summer was as exciting as he had made it seem it would it. Yes, Wizarding Law prohibiting minor's use of magic outside of school was annoying, especially after a long year of using magic nearly every day. "I'm sorry to hear that." He, on the other hand, had an exciting summer in Finland, which he was eager to share. "Yes, Finland was great. I went on multiple hikes, and collected and studied various different herbs and plants. I was also able to grow Fautus, a magically animated cactus, which I did with a series of herbs and extensive potion brewing. It took me nearly a month, and many cactus samples, but with the help of the growth charm I was able to experiment faster. My grandparents helped me a bit, since I couldn't use magic, and they know a lot more about herbs and potions." Eino was very proud of his cactus Fautus, it was the only pet he ever had that he would not kill. Oh, another cat? Since he was described as an aggressive cat, Eino was hesitant to pet it. Still, Tiger's fur looked like it would make a darling scarf for his mother.

Eino noticed another student enter the compartment. "Hello, I'm Eino." He introduced himself as the girl made herself comfortable in the compartment, which was not nearly full. He was happy he had already met with most of his closest friends and wouldn't have to go around the train looking for them, but he was also excited to make some new friends.
