Er, well, Treyen enjoyed reading pretty much everything, but he wouldn't comment...would he? "Not only textbooks, but yeah...," he shrugged. He had to comment, of course, he usually did.

However, be sure to never caught him reading a romance novels, since...eww, romance, not his thing.

He smiled, "Yes, with Sierra...you know, Alex's sister." Twin sister. "It's for the Potions Club, we're working on one that may cure Alzheimer, or not," like Lafay had said, no one knows if some other potion may be brewed by mixing things up.

So, yes, her textbook was of help. IF they ever managed to get that potion working, then Melanie will be mentioned in there somehow.

"Speaking of...I think I should...keep on figuring out things for the potion," mmmhmmm, yes, and that meant...leaving, no?

Caroline walked down the kitchen corridor. She stopped across from the potrait of the bowl of fruit. She looked through her bag and pulled out the lion hat thingy that she had made for the match. She was going to give it to him. Although she had no idea what he would do with it. He would probably give it to his little sister when he home for the summer. She didn't mind if that's what he did. After all the hat did look more like a stuffed animal.

She hadn't seen him since before the match. Their orginal kitchen date plan didn't go off as planned, due to some events that took place during the match. At least he was okay, or at least he was now. She had heard that Josh had broke his nose. She really didn't know how true that was. She figured that it wasn't true. She looked up and down the corridor. She stood and waited on him.

Ah... nom nom nom!!!

Holding enough sweets and savoury snacks to feed the whole Quidditch team, Kita walked along the corridor. She wasn't going to let anyone take her sweets away from her. Sharing is fine, taking food away and not leaving her with anything is not. Especially seeing as the 16 year old brunette was hungry.

Taylor made her way down the corridor quickly, munching on a piece of her favourite Pumpkin Pie as she went. She was such a fatty at times. It was ridiculous, someone needed to stop her... wait, no. She wouldn't go back to that again. Twirling around as she walked, she suddenly bumped into someone, her blonde curls tumbled over her shoulders as the green ribbon they were held back by came loose. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she apologised as she steadied herself and smiled at the girl who came into view- Kita! "Hi there!" she said, sighig happily as she finished off the pie. Slightly embarassed over what had just happened- she was so clumsy for a ballerina!

Kita looked behind her as she walked. She had to make sure that the door was closing. Although people would probably be able to tell where she got all this food from.

And that's when it happened. Oomph! "AAAH!" she screamed as someone bumped into her. Taking a step back, she looked at the girl standing in front of her only to realise it was... "Taylor?" she asked, "Oh my days! It's been ages!" And to think it was mainly her fault. Silly girl!

She looked down at the food in her hands and then up at Taylor with a sheepish grin on her face. "I'd hug you but... um..." she nodded down at the food in her hands, "...yeah."

Tay laughed and smiled at Kita again- noticing all the food the girl had in her arms. Boy, that girl could eat! "Running away?" she asked sarcastically, pretending to look past Kita to see if she had her trunk with her. "Just kidding" she giggled.
"And yeah! It's been so long- too long" she said, frowning slightly as she laughed- "I take it you're hungry then?" she asked, raising a perfectly arched eyebrow slightly and grinning enthusiastically.

Running away?! Seriously? She looked like she was running away? Kita started laughing. "No, don't worry," she said. There was no way she was going to run away from Hogwarts. Running away from home to go to Hogwarts seemed more likely. "Correction: i'm starving!" she said, "One of the reasons why i'm glad i'm in hufflepuff: the kitchen is right next door." A grin spread across her face as she winked at Taylor.

Adjusting the food in her hands, she reached into her pocket and took out her wand. Levitating the food, she dove into her bag and brought out the piece of fabric she liked to use as her picnic coth. She started sorting out the fabric before letting the food down onto the fabric gently and, not forgetting, neatly on the fabric. "Come sit," she said to Taylor as she sat down, "Unless you have somewhere else to go."

Carter peered cautiously around the corner. He'd been avoiding seeing any snake since 'the incident.' Well, all except one of course...

"Hey there." he said walking out into the hall after deeming it safe.

"Sorry I had to postpone things. It took awhile to calm Josh down."

Awhile and, of course, a bit of magic.

He smiled a bit. He hoped that she hadn't gotten any backlash from his block. She couldn't creep down the halls avoiding everyone... since, you know, she was one of them.

Caroline jumpped and turned around when she heard a voice. Thankfully it was the voice that she had been wanting to hear. Just the suprise of a voice in the quiet corridor is what made her jump.

"Oh, goodnes. Hey!" She grinned. She sighed in relief to the fact that he was alive, none of her fellow snakes had killed him. She kissed him. Glad to see him. "Oh, geez I'm glad you're alive! Oh gosh after that match...." She stopped talking and hugged him.

She nodded. "It's ok!Someone had too, Right?" She shook her head, that boy. She was still kinda still mad over Josh punching Carter. Which she had seenm by the way. If she could've gone down there she would have. "Are you Okay?"

Carter smiled and kissed her back. "Haha... yeah..." he said running a hand through his hair. He might have to just stop taking over the Keeper position when Rafe wasn't feeling well.

"Oh yeah." he said. "It wasn't quite like taking a football to the face." Which, was like 10 times worse.

"What about you?" he asked.

It probably wasn't a good location to announce for the first time in public that you were dating a Gryffindor... especially a Gryffindor that just took out the team's seeker...

He just hoped that not everyone heard the news or had come after him instead.

"I'm okay." She told him. She had mostly gotten the silent treatment for a while from some of the other slytherins. Which she really didn't mind because the slytherins that did talk to her after the match was her friends.

She remembered that she had the hat at that she wore at the match in her hand to give to him "Umm.... Here. I want you to have it."She handed the hat over to him. "It's what I wore to the match. If you want it."

She grinned. "I think Destiny and Marie both got a kick out of it." She wasn't sure if she wanted to talk about those two yet or not. "Want to grab a bite to eat?" She already knew the answer to that would be yes.

Carter smiled at the hat. "Does it roar?" he asked. And why did he ask? Because it would be super brilliant if it did.

"Thanks." he said taking it from her. He wasn't sure if he should put it on... He held it out in front of him for a second before deciding that it would go perfect on his side table. It would be even more perfect if he could figure out how to get it to roar in Josh's ear every now and then.

He smirked at the thought.

"Oh. You ran in to Destiny and Marie...?" he asked. He was going to wait to see what they said before he said anything else.

"Yeah. Food sounds great." he said.

Roar? Roar? "No." she said sadly. Oh Merlin that would have been perfect. It was a brilliant idea. "Maybe I can get it to roar for you before the end of term." Which is so close it's hard to believe.

"You're welcome." She flashed him a smile.

"Oh, yeah. Destiny started to sit with me at the match, I think the hat kinda of freaked her out or she found it amusing or both. Marie on the other hand made a smart comment about the hat." She shrugged. She actually liked Destiny. She was kinda nice.... nicer the Marie anyway. "Destiny's pretty cool."

"good. I need something sweet." She had been hanging around those crazy sweet loving younger slytherins to much this year. she would have to run it off all summer. So she could get back in shape so she could try out for the quidditch team next year.

Where was she?

Destiny had no idea. A few wrong turns on the moving staircases and next thing she knew, she was in a corridor. A very..familiar corridor! She had been there before and quite a few times. And now that she was there, she was going to head to her favorite place in the whole castle; the kitchen!

Even though those house elves freaked her out a bit.

But, she could just ignore them. It wasn't hard to ignore people or in this case, creatures. Skipping along the corridor, she stopped when she noticed Crater and Caroline in the corridor. And since she hadn't told Caroline that she found her pet rat, she figured now would be the perfect time to do so.

"Caroline!" she called out, skipping over to her. They were friends, yes? Destiny thought so. "I found my rat." She'd get to Crater in a minute.

Caroline was waiting to heard Carter's reply to her telling him about first time she kind of met Destiny and Marie. She was suprisingly eager to hear his response. Then she heard skipping coming closer, someone else was coming down the corridor. The someone was calling out to her. The voice came from Destiny,a new friend? They could be at the point by now she guess.

She quickly started to wonder how much she had heard or didn't hear before she came down the Corridor. Destiny told her that she had found her rat. "Destiny, that's great. I'm glad you found thim." She said with a slight smile.

She hoped that the presents of another slytherin didn't freak Carter out. Her and Destiny were starting to become friends so nothing should happen that was going to be to bad right? Or was Caroline just that naive to think that?

Carter smiled. "That would be brilliant." he said happily. And so much fun! He could just imagine it letting out a mighty lion yell in the middle of his dormitory. It would be, by far, the best present from a girlfriend to grace that room. Not that there was much competition from his mate's girls of course.

"Oh yeah. Destiny is great... once you get over the whole..."

cooties thing? Nah, she had to be over that by now. She was dating Patroclus after all.

Word making up thing?" Nah. That wasn't too bad. And since Caroline was pureblood maybe she didn't notice that half the 'muggle' words Destiny says are wrong...

Andddd speaking of Destiny...

The girl skipped around the corner. Did she have supersonic hearing or something? It seemed that every time Destiny came up in a conversation she'd magically appear.

Oh no! What if she had her name traced like what happened in the second war...?

On second thought Carter decided that would be incredibly clever and brilliant and would let it slide on account of how incredibly clever and brilliant it was.

He'd just have to say her name in some weird connotation sometime and have her overhear... or however that trace thing worked.

....

Wait a second....

...

Destiny was right there! He held the lion head so that is was partially blocking his face. "So... umm... how's Evelyn...?" he asked. He might as well get the least harmful she-snake out of the way now. Maybe if he got Destiny back on his side she could calm the other two down before he had to interact with them.

Plus, it only took a little chocolate to win over Destiny. And lucky for him they were right outside the kitchens.

Hmm..

If Destiny would have noticed the lion head in Crater's hands, she might not have moved so quickly over to the two of them. It was still kinda creepy and she was sure the thing bit. But, it was in his hands and she didn't care if it bit him or not.

Ignoring the boy, for now, she grinned at Caroline and pulled her rat from her pocket. "He was in here the WHOLE time. I didn't even know."

Did Caroline want to hooooold him?

Carter was as weird as a sack of potatoes. Destiny had no idea why he was hiding behind the creepy lion mask and was just about to ask when..he mentioned Evelyn.

Oh.

OHH..

She had totally forgot about what happened during the Quidditch match until he had mentioned it. How could she forget something like that!? Perhaps there was too much on her mind..or..nothing on her mind. Either way, she remembered now.

"CRATER! I know you are behind that lion head. And I want my wool bombs back!"

So she could throw them at him.

"I'll get right on it, then. You'll have the coolest lion hat ever." She grinned. This was the first gift that she gave him so it had to be good, right?

After you get over the whole what? Oh she really wanted to know what the whole thing was. She nodded and that was Destiny walked up.




Caroline laughed seeing Carter behind the lion hat. She knew why he was hinding, but it was ok Destiny wouldn't do anything to him with her around. hehe.

"He was!" She giggled, that was funny he was in her pocket. She moved over Destiny and the rat. She put a finger on his head and petted him "Can I hold him?" She asked. She picked him up with a awsner. She was alway like that with little kids, babies, and animal, Just ask and take them and hold them. Yeah Caroline could be weird.........sometimes of course.

"You lost your rat in your pocket...?" Carter asked lowering the hat so he could look at her with a raised eyebrow. He knew sometimes Destiny could be a bit spacey... but that was wayyyy beyond Destiny spacey.

At least... he thought it was. He couldn't quite remember exactly how spacey she got.

"Oh. Right. So she must be alright then." he said clearly relieved. Destiny wouldn't have asked about wool bombs unless Evelyn was completely alright now. And Carter was kind of glad that he wouldn't have to share his chocolate with her. Not that he had any... yet.

"And it's Carter. Carrrrr-terrrr. It's not that hard. You try it."

Seriously. How long had they known each other? She should really have gotten it down by now.

Yeah. Carter was pretty sure he didn't have to finish his thought about Destiny as Caroline seemed to have picked it up already. He smiled happily at Caroline before turning back to Destiny.

"Wool bombs? You mean you haven't forgotten about those?"

Or made new ones. Carter had been to her house before. She could easily make TONS more with the amount of sheep roaming around.

He then smirked slightly. Maybe he could convince Destiny to do a rain chocolate dance for him in exchange.

Then he remembered something.

"Wait... I thought we were going to use those when we got spy gear..." he said suddenly. Didn't they agree to something like that...? Otherwise he would have used them already... right? He vaguely remembered not being able to play with those on his own.

Or maybe they agreed to hide in a bush and throw them at someone.

He was pretty sure they had a plan for those. And Carter wasn't about to let her out of that. Nope. Those wool bombs had lived in his trunk for the past two years and he wasn't about to let them not fulfill their original purpose.

Perhaps she shouldn't have said that she found her rat in her pocket. It might have made her sound crazy and Destiny was NOT crazy. No matter how many times the Healer's at St. Mungo's told her she was. They were just trying to scare her..or something.

Grinning, she nodded her head, letting Caroline hold Marcus. It was a good thing the rat didn't bite. Actually, he didn't do much of anything except sleep, eat and a few other things. Sorta like the person she name him after. Bwaha! "I guess I didn't think to look in my pocket. Even though I found him there quite a few times before." Err. She should shut up about it now.

Turning to Crater, she held her hand out towards him, expecting him to have HER wool bombs with him at that exact moment. "Yeah, Evelyn is fine now. And I know what your name is. I just like to call you Craaaaa-terrrrr." And until she got her wool bombs back, he would stay Crater. Nah, she'll still call him that afterwards, too.

Wiggling her fingers, clearly saying 'Give them to me now', she nodded her head again before glancing towards Caroline. She knew about the wool bombs, they had talked about them. "How could I forget about them?" She had only been trying to get them back for TWO years now.

"I already have spy gear. I just need my wool bombs now."

Then to the bushes she goes!

Caroline continued petting the rat. She wanted one. But like her mother would let her have one. Pfff like she cared. She was going to get one this summer. She smiled back at Carter. Then turned back the rat. It was a pretty awesome rat.

She listened to Carter and Destiny's conversation. "You actually keep him in your pocket?" She asked. That was crazy what if she sat on him, he was just a little rat after all. She continued to listen to the conversation.

Carter attempted to cross his arms, but it didn't work out so well since he was holding a giant lion hat.

Why was Destiny holding her hand out like that? She didn't honestly think he carried the wool bombs around, did she?

"No." he said simply. "I helped make them, so legally they're half mine." he said. "Plus. We had a deal."

And even though they hadn't even spoken in two years, Carter was not about to give up the opportunity to hide in a bush and throw exploding wool at people!

Why? Because it seemed like the right thing to do.

Plus, he'd been looking forward to it. And he wasn't about to let a silly thing like accidently snogging her once in front of the girl he was dating at the time due to being poisoned get in his way.

Nope. He was much too mature for that to get in the way of throwing things at people while hiding in a bush.

"We can just meet up... arriving separately of course... in the bush. Then leave at different times. It's fail proof." he suggested.

"Plus... you know you're not going to have fun withoutttt me." And by that he meant if they got caught he'd just blame it on Destiny. It's worked before... kinda...

Plus, that was really the last thing that was on his checklist involving the she-snakes. Once that was done he'd finally be completely done with that whole mess and they could all go on living happy lives.

And if she said no... well, he still had the wool bombs. Maybe Caroline would throw them with him instead.

"Well, no. I don't keep him in my pocket. He kinda climbs in there on his own. Usually when my cat decides to chase him around." Or when he could smell the chocolate that she left behind. Destiny didn't know rats to like chocolate, she thought they only liked cheese. But, her rat was strange, just like all her other animals.

She heard something about animals acting like their owners. Now if her pet flobberworm started saying random animal facts, she'd be worried. "You have a cat, right?" Or was she just thinking that? Meh, Destiny's brain was all fuzzy.

And that brain only became fuzzier when she turned back to Carter. He was a weird boy. Just look at him cuddling that creepy lion head. Destiny raised her eyebrow at this deal he spoke of, ignoring his comment about the wool bombs being half his. It was her wool! "I don't remember any deal." But then again, she did get a little distracted when Raccoon Girl showed up and then she did sorta leave him there to go with Rae.

She didn't want to think about that.

Her other eyebrow raised. "How will I know you are already AT the bush? What if we don't know when the other person is leaving and we DO arrive at the same time?" Hmm!? "Not so foul-proof, is it?"

And why was she agreeing to this?

Was she even agreeing? She had no idea. All she knew was, it would be easier to give her the wool bombs right then. Her hand was still out and her fingers were still wiggling. Wool bombs, please.

Oh look! Crater was right about something! Destiny couldn't have fun without him. "I know. I'm going to have fun throwing them at you." Maybe Caroline will help her? She shot a glance at the other girl. Help? Yes?

Caroline laughed when she scene Carter trying to cross his arms. It looked more like he was trying to hug the lion. The whole throw these wool bombs from behind bushes sounded so much fun. She spoke up.

"And then since were together I get half of your half, Right?" She teased, but really wanted to get her hands on some of them too.

She smiled and trying to hold her laugh in. While Destiny awsnered her question about the rat in her pocket. How many animals did this girl have? Really? "Oh, yeah! Salazar. He's a monster of a cat." She said holding her hands out in front of her far apart. "We have horses back at home?" She told her.

The next thing that she said even suprised her. The idea just hit her and it would be fun to watch Destiny do. "You should come over this summer and go horseback riding" She wasn't very good at it or liked to too much but it was fun.

Caroline pointed at herself as to said 'like me' She shook her head."Oh, no. I've got my on list to throw wool bombs at. I think I'll give Carter a free pass." She glanced over at Carter and grinned "This time."
