Violet looked back at Elektra who finally seemed to end her scary laugh. She then gasped and put a hand on her chest. Violet said,"No I do not, I did that before I left the Common Room today so there!"

Cass entered the Potions classroom and took a seat in the back in a corner like he normally does in every class. "Hello Professor." He says as he takes he seat and waits for the class to start.

K-Lee peeped into the room. Not late? Good. "Hello professor!" She said as she walked in, taking a spot in the middle where she wasn't in the direct line of the fury from the Slytherin head of house.

Yawning, she looked around to see who else was there. Merlin she was tired! She hadn't slept well the previous night. Stupid dinosaur nightmares.

Cass walked into the classroom with undisguised ease, she was sure that she wasn't late, besides, the classroom is practically right next door to her common room...so, no need to worry.

Then she straightened her robes, and walked over to the professor's desk "Good Day Professor Lafay." She said before she took a seat in her usual spot.

Dianna entered the potions classroom with an air of grace. Or at least for her she did.

"Good Day, Professor Lafay." she smiled as she took a seat in front. The Professor seems tired..

Jake had shed his outer robes once again and they were tucked over his messenger back which hung low on his side. He was looking thinner than usual, and his blond hair was once again back to a normal length (that is... well... let's just call it Bieber hair).

Without saying a thing to the woman at the front of the class, or even looking to her, Jake made his way to the very back of the room, figuring maybe he'd get more peace back there. He set his bag down beside his chair thannnnng and took a seat, elbow on desk, head in hand, looking towards the door and watching for any others to enter.

Gliding into the classroom, Patroclus beamed a massive smile at Lafay, "Good Day Professor Lafay!"

The Lion didn't understand the reasoning for everyone to fear Lafay, she was strict, but not a monster......unless a potion had made her one!

Taking his seat right next to a certain extra special someone, the Lion had to comment on the weird seating arrangment the She-Snakes and Mia were currently in, "Is this a massage line?"

Marie decided it was time she actually went to a class since she had been slacking lately. So what better class than her favorite one to go to. Yes, potions was her favorite class and Lafay... well she wasn't her favorite professor but she didn't dislike the woman as much as she used to.

Wandering in she immediately seen her friends... Evelyn, Destiny and Mia... all sitting at different tables? Well that was odd. Not wanting to choose which of them to sit with she decided to sit at the table behind Mia. "Good morning Professor." she said as she made her way to that table... The one that happened to be at the back of the room... her favorite place.

Now to see who would actually come sit with the girls... and apparently Patroclus was going to be the one to sit with Destiny. Hehe, she should have known. Not seeing Finlay or Matty she wondered if either of them would be coming to class. Hmm, maybe she should send a howler to Matty to make sure he was awake. :mwaha:

Potions.

... Potions. Helena loved this class. But... she was kind of... afraid. Of professor Lafay, of any possible creature cruelty, of being in the dungeons... she didn't know. But the thing she knew; she was afraid.

"Hello, professor," the girl smiled towards the woman, then sat down where she usually sat.

I was looking for my tie. No. I misplaced my ID. Like thats needed. I was collecting my notes. Like he ever cared.

I overslept. Like that will go down easy with his Head of House.

Salander sprinted out of the dorms, up the Common Room then across the hall and skidded to a halt just outside the Potions door. He poked his head by the doorway. Plenty of students were already there, but it doesnt look like the Professor has started yet.

Entering the classroom like he was on a leisurely stroll he made like he was whistling until he cheerfully greeted the Potions Mistress "Good Morning Professor Lafay!" Rough night? Hehe.

He smoothly settled into a seat next to his lovely Gryffindor blonde "Good Morning Pretty Princess!" he murmured as he gave Lexi a quick peck on the cheek, then faced front alive and attentive. Then by the side of his mouth he mumbled "I hope you brought your book and notes with you because I didnt bring a thing."

"Dakest..." She greeted her eyed moving to the kid's arm. Seemed better.

"Good morning Miss Skylar." She said to the girl upon entering.

"Master Lockhart," Did the boy just rhyme?

"Good Day Miss Shepard." She said to the girl.

"Hello Miss Draven." She said covering her mouth to stifle a yawn.

"Hello Miss Kelley" She said.

"My day is good, Miss Le Veela" She said.

"Hello Miss Browne," she said to the girl.

"It's Professor Lafay..." She corrected. "and good day to you Miss Denver." She said.

"Hello Miss Shepard." This kid was waaaay too happy.

"Hello Miss Celebrindal," She said watching the girl walk in.

"Hello Miss Lovegoods." She said to the girl.

"Good day Miss Gibbins," she said to the Hufflepuff.

"The day is going well for now," she said and then added, "good day to you Miss Smith."

"Hello Master Sato-Rhodes..." She said inclining her head.

"Hello Miss Soler," she told the girl.

"Good day Miss Prewett," She said to the child.

"Good day Miss Malfoy." She said.

She watched the boy walk in, and hide in the back of the class. "It is impolite to walk into someone's class and not greet them." She said to him as he sat.

"Good Day Prefect Hudson."

"Good morning Miss Salazar," she told the girl.

Why were they forming a cluster of girls...?

"Hello Miss Hopkins," She said.

"Salander!" She hissed. "There will be no kissing in my class..." He was lucky it was just a peck, and Hecate was in a good mood, or she would have tossed the boy in detention.

"Let's get started. Poisons." She said ominously... if this was a movie, music would have played after she said that. "Who can tell me what a poison is?"

Emily was eager to get started, she raised her hand to get the Professors attention. "A poison is a chemical substance which causes injury, illness or death to whomever is phsically exposed to the poison either by ingesting it, or having it injected through their skin, or through inhailing it," she said.

Another potions class..... Caroline was about to explore into giggles with excitement. Calm down Caroline, she told herself. She walked into the classroom. She made the curve of her smile on down slightly as she walked into the classroom. "Hello and Good morning, Professor Lafay." Why did everyone think that Lafay is mean, She didn't think that. You are treated the same way you treat the person back, right?

She saw her little sister, Helena well that's what she calls Helena anyway. Caroline sat the pile of books and quill that she had carried into the room with her. She didn't bring her bag like she usually did. She was afaid that she would be late, so she just grabbed up the things that she would only need to class. She smiled at Helena and sat down beside her and waited for class to begin.

she raised her hand "a drink or liquid dose, as of medicine, poison, or a substance that has magic powers"

Ooooh were they going to talk about poisons? Interesting.

Helena's hand shot in the air. "Poisons are substances that cause illness, injuries and... even organ failure or death. It depends on the poison." Uh... not so sure if the answer was the expected one, but at least she tried.

Elektra took out her parchment and quill. Her laughing and funny humor immediately left as soon as Professor Lafay began to talk about the lesson. Poisons! Sweet! Elektra already knew this was going to be a fun class now. When Professor Lafay asked the class about poisons Elektra flew her hand up immediately and she had a feeling she knew the answer but then again she could be wrong. "Isn't a poison a substance that can cause disturbances to organisms by ways of a chemical reaction or something else when absorbed by something?" She asked. Wow this is most I have ever said in this class... she thought to herself.

Lexi's face lit up when Sal walked in. Hehehe. Oh and kisses too. AMAZING. Leaning in to hear what he was saying she smiled and slid some parchment toward him, dug out an exttra quill, and slid her book in between them. Turning to face him she gave a little wink and said, "Glad you're here."

Lexi blinked a few times from her seat and shook her head stupidly. "Yes, Professor... of course... my mind was elsewhere when I came in," she said softly. Then Salander was being reprimanded. Poo.

"Poison is a substance that causes injury, illness, or death. It can either be a chemical type or extracts of certain plants and such. Belladona, for instance, is poisonous," Lexi said with a raised hand.

Jake looked up from where he was staring transfixed at the door, and glanced at Lafay before becoming seemingly interested in his hands. He was sure he'd entered her room before and not greeted her and she'd ignored it.

But... yeah.

"Oh... sorry. Hi," he said distractedly, frowning slightly as though merely this caused him to use his utmost concentration.


At the question he raised his hand slightly but didn't look up. "In its most literal sense-" the best kind, in Jake's opinion "-it's something... not necessarily a potion, that is detrimental to the person who's feeling it's effects, physical effects, usually. I've heard people being described as poisonous as well."

All the time he looked DOWN at the desk, or rather the edge of the desk not on the side he sat, so his head wasn't right down.

Watching Destiny sit...not at her table, the Slytherin girl frowned, momentarily forgetting the dirty table top that she was currently seated in front of. WAIT! Is that why Destiny wasn't sitting with her? 'Cause the table was not clean? Pffft, well, she could fix that, right? The girl loved cleaning spells!

But then, Mia avoided her table too. AND Destiny's. Not that they really partnered up in any of the classes anyhow, the Slytherin stared at her Hufflepuff friend for a moment before her gaze flickered back to the Slytherin girl. Was there some sort of fight that she wasn't aware of she was even in?

SERIOUSLY!? WAS THERE?

Watching Marie sit at some completely different table then all of them, Evelyn's mouth may have dropped just the slightest as she tried to silently ask Destiny what the heck was going on- Ohhh. Ohhh, Evelyn saw how it was then. It all clicked in her mind now once she saw Patroclus sit next to Destiny. Uh huh. What clicked in her mind, she wasn't quite sure of since the class was starting and POISONS rung through her mind at the moment, but we shall be watching you Mr. Prefect Lemur Boy.

A poison. They were learning about poisons? Were they going to be brewing any? Because this would possibly be her most favorite potions class ever in all the potions classes she had ever been in. "A poison is a substance that when touched or consumed...causes harm in some way to the victim." she said after raising her hand before...

Before glancing back to Mr. Gryffindor Prefect there.

Stare.

Salander grinned stupidly at Lexi when she slid a few vital school supplies his way. "Thank you Luv" he whispered just as the Potions Mistress called his attention. Snapping his head back to front he blurted "Yes'm. Sorry. Wont happen again." In front of you heh.

Hearing the Professor's question got that smirk back on his face. Poisons... choose your-- "Poisons are toxic substances that can be either solid, liquid or gaseous state, which when taken in by the body can prove to be harmful in a very short or prolonged period of time." Sounded pretty general innit?

Lucy quickly raised up her hand as knew the answer it was very common and said "Prof. Poisons are substances that causes harm to organisms when consumed or when the skin gets into contact with it." she that she brought her hand down.
