Kurumi looked over at her supplies and went to the fridge for some blueberries. "Well, sous chef Burn, blueberries seem to be in season, so I was thinking of making some blueberry drop cookies." She set the basket of blueberries on the counter. "Sous chef Burn, could you get a lemon from the fridge and grate it a little. We need some lemon zest." She tried to sound serious, but she found herself giggling instead.

It seems Mia was getting caught up in other people's love dramas. And she wasn't sure that she was the right person to be talking about such things. But she liked Marie even though they'd had a bad start and she liked Carter so she sat down on one of the stools and faced Marie.
