"Yeah but they got in trouble" Katie giggled. |
Kurumi entered the kitchen and saw Katie, Adam, and Edmond standing over by the oven. She approached one of her favorite house elves, Twinkle, and kneeled down to speak with her. "Good afternoon,"she smiled to the house elf extending her hand. "Would you mind if I baked cookies again today? You are more than welcome to have some when I am finished." The house elf nodded with a big smile on her face and lead Kurumi towards her usual pile of cookie making supplies. She had been down here so often that the elves just left everything out for her. |

Kurumi hugged Katie back and rolled her eyes at Adam. "Twinkle, these are my two best friends, Adam and Katie," she smiled introducing her house elf friend. "Everyone, this is Twinkle. She often helps me bake cookies." Kurumi looked over at her supplies and went to the fridge for some blueberries. "Well, sous chef Burn, blueberries seem to be in season, so I was thinking of making some blueberry drop cookies." She set the basket of blueberries on the counter. "Sous chef Burn, could you get a lemon from the fridge and grate it a little. We need some lemon zest." She tried to sound serious, but she found herself giggling instead. |

He then noticed the nice girl that had given him cookies in their common room, "Hi, Kurumi." Ed waved at her with a smile. It seemed that something was bothering her as she stepped away from Katie and Adam. "Do you mind if I help." he said, this was something Adam and Katie had to fix, after all they were an item. |

He turned his attention to the bowl and saw the lumps and kept stirring. Hey, this wasn't as bad as he thought. "What are we baking?" he asked Kurumi. Hopefully it was those yummy cookies. |

She took a deep breath before continuing. "It all started at the end of last term. We sort of had an argument about something and I ended up walking away from him." Yeah, she wouldn't go into full details about the argument right now. "Anyway, I didn't hear from him or see him at all over the summer. That is until the weekend before school started. That's when I seen him snogging Destiny... and that's when he broke up with me." Yep, her summer officially ended worse than it had started. "The next time I seen him was a few days later at the opening feast. The potion had finally worn off and we started to talk. Things seemed to be going okay. Right up until we got to the reason Destiny gave him the potion." The reason that still to this day she did not understand. "He said it was because he didn't want to be around me." She had done nothing all summer but think about him and wish he was with her when all along he didn't even want to be around her. "I was so hurt and confused that I didn't know what to do so I just told him that when he was ready to be around me again he would know where to find me." Only problem now was that he finally found her but only used her to get away from the foreign students. |

She looked over at Adam. "Still waiting on that lemon zest," she smiled sticking her tongue out. |
