Slytherin Girls Dormitories
 

Alice walked in, to what would be her new room for the year, and saw the green and silver. She smiled, Alice liked those colors and was glad that she was sorted into Slytherin. She was a terribly shy girl and didn't know how well she was going to get along with her roomates, Alice hoped that they would be kind towards her. Through out her childhood she has interacted with few kids her age and hardly had friends. Coming to Hogwarts was one of the best decisions she has ever made and hoped to make longterm friendships here.

Sophrina stepped into dormitories and saw one of the room door's open. She walked in there and found a girl staring at the room with a smile on her face. Sophie decided to walk in and join her. "Hi, my name is Sophrina Sapphire." She said as she extended her hand to the girl.

Selena looked around the place. It met her standards. She saw a girl by herself and smiled at her. She waved her hand in a greeting before walking over to her. "Hello there, I'm Selena Vivianne Zabini-Riddle, I don't think I saw you at the feast," Selena smiled warmly.

As she jumped onto the bed, which had her trunk in front of it, Kenna looked around. She was determined to make friends with the people in her year, the more the merrier, of course. She'll start with the girl over there. "Hi, I'm Kenna." She smiled, the girl looked shy, or at least very nervous.

"Hey Kenna," Selena smiled, "wanna share a room?" Selena asked.

"Of course!" She smiled. "I wonder if every night is going to be like one big sleepover. That would be fun!" She giggled. Staying up late, talking, eating popcorn...

"A sleepover?" Selena asked, she knew what it was... she just... never participated in one... "that sounds like fun," she smiled wryly. "But I don't think it'll all be a cakewalk... there's revisions, essays, research..." Selena rambled on, this was going to be a stressful year. "But I think I'll enjoy the Hogwarts grounds though..." Selena smiled.

"Yeah! Won't that be fun!" She smiled, although Selena didn't look that into it. "Oh yeah..." She nooded as Selena added a long list of too much work. "Yea, I wonder when its warm out, if we can like walk around in the Lake." Kenna smiled. "it is going to be really fun."

Alice was brought back to the present when she heard various voices. She turned around and saw some girls there. Alice hoped that they didn't think she was weird for smiling by herself. "Hi." She waved at them, shily. They seemed friendly, which made her grin.

"that would be absolutely lovely..." Selena sighed contently, "and in the winter time playing in the snow..." Selena continued to smile.
"Hey, what's your name?" Selena smiled brightly.

This place is absalutly amazing. Seeing a bunch of girls, she went there and hear their conversation of what ever it's about.

"Hello," Selena smiled, "I'm Selena Vivianne Zabini-Riddle," Selena introduced herself as she held out her hand, "first year," she added.

"Oh, and at Halloween, pumpkins and leaves.." She smiled, imagining future memories. "Hi," Kenna smiled to the girl that had waved. "Whats your name?"

"Alice Black." She answered with a smile. Alice's whole last name was Black-Lestrange, but she prefered Black better. "What's yours?" She asked timidly. She noticed that there were more girls than before she came, This is going to be a fun year. She thought, happy that she would have a chance to make friends.

"Yeah," Selena smiled, all those holidays that had been long neglected were going to be celebrated here. And Selena smiled as she thought about it.

"I'm Selena Vivianne Zabini-Riddle," Selena introduced, "It's a pleasure meeting you," Selena smiled.

Alice shook her hand and smiled. ''Nice to meet you, I'm Alice Black." She looked around the room from her trunk and then spotted one with her name on it. ''There's my stuff.'' She thought aloud. Alice had been looking for it in the other empty dorms. Right next to her trunk there was a cage and inside it was her trusty siamese cat, Shadow. It meowed, Alice knew that it was calling to her.

"Pretty name." Sophie complimented. She noticed Alice looking around the room and followed her gaze and saw that she was looking at a cat. "Is it yours?" Sophie said. Right then she spotted her stuff next to a bed that was next to Alice's. "I guess we're neighbors." Sophie giggled.

"Same here." She smiled at Selena.

''Thanks.'' Alice wasn't used to compliments, but was glad that someone was being nice to her. She then saw Sophrina looking at her cat. ''Yes, his name is Shadow.'' Alice walked over to the cage and took the unhappy cat into her arms. Shadow hated being incarcerated in a small cage, he was used to big places. Alice turned back to Sophrina and smiled, ''Yup, but I hope Shadow won't be a bother. He usually likes to wonder about. Alice explained.

"So what do you think of Hogwarts right now?" Selena smiled. She turned to the other girl, "I'm Selena Vivianne Zabini-Riddle, first year, and what may your name be?" Selena asked her.

Libriana finally walked into the girls' dormitory. She walked up to the bed that had her trunk on it and cast a spell on her bed to make it the perfect form for her. "Hey, Sel." She said with a smile.

"Oh no worries." Sophie smiled. She walked to the other side of her bed and saw a sleeping kitten in a cage. Sophie opened the cage and carried it in her arms. "I have one of my own." She grinned. "Her name is Iris. My parents gave her to me as a goodbye present." Sophie then felt a bit down, she was going to miss parents a lot.

"Hello." Sophrina smiled. "I'm Sophrina Sapphire, nice to meet you Selena. I'm also a first year."

"Well at first I was a bit nervous, but now I'm really starting to like it." Alice said, bashfully. "How about you?"

"She's a cutey." Alice said as she noticed Sophrina's face fall. "Are you ok? What's wrong?" She didn't know why she cared. Maybe because you already consider her a friend. Her conscience told her.

"Hey Libriana," Selena smiled, "Looks like we're next to each other," Selena said as she tilted her head to the other bed across from Libriana's.

"It's a pleasure meeting you Sophrina," Selena smiled, "when I came into the school, I feared I had lost some of my friends amongst the crowd as we were leaving the train, but I was a bit shy..." Selena smiled, "I kinda got over it now," Selena added.

"It's..." Sophie was debating whether to tell Alice the truth. She seemed concerned so Sophie told her, "Its just that I'm going to miss my parents." She tried to smile. "Arent you going to miss yours?"

She smiled and layed down on her bed. "Yeah." Libriana said with a smile.

Selena heard Sophie tell Alice that she'd miss her parents. Selena felt something heavy on her heart, like a thousand bricks weighing down on it. 'She had parents who cared about her...' Selena thought to herself. She heard herself telling Sophie, "Owl your parents, let them know you arrived safely," Selena said, "so... they don't worry about you... and over the time, you'll learn to love this place as a second home," Selena added, "It's just a phase," Selena smiled, it was a bit forced seeing as she didn't know what else to say, what else to do... when had she ever missed her parents? 'Always...' but they never cared... and she wondered if they really loved her...


"Tired?" Selena asked with a half smile.

"Well, Shady, see your trunk anywhere?" Selena asked her as she looked around for Shady's luggage.

"A little." She yawned. "Ok maybe I am a lot."

When Shady stepped in to the room, an instant feel of home hit her like a ton of soft, loving, bricks. Green curtains lined the top of the beds, and her junk sat at the foot.
I could of brought them 'op... she grumbled so quietly that she wasn't even shout if it was alone or silent.

"Oy! this place is great!" she yelled, and that was when she was certain that everyone could here her.

Alice smiled, "I'm a bit shy myself too." She giggled. She didn't have to worry about losing friends because she hardly had any, but now she had a feeling that would change.

"I miss them every day that passes." Alice said, softly. "The good thing is that you'll see yours again." She could feel tears gathering in her eyes.

"Wel;, maybe you should go to sleep now, seeing as tomorrow we need to be up before breakfast and meet in the Dueling Arena," Selena smiled.


"Um... maybe not so loud?" Selena giggled. "Well, that's your bed," Selena smiled. "Mine is the one down there," Selena pointed to the bed two away with a few embroidered green pillows she had placed there and a book on it. "Good night, I'll see you early tomorrow morning, before breakfast. Don't forget there's a meeting in the Dueling Arena," Selena reminded her before smiling. "Sweet dreams," Selena added, letting Shady settle in.

"You get over being shy," Selena smiled. She saw tears in Alice's eyes. She pulled out a handkerchief, "here," she said as she gave it to Alice. "Are you alright?" Selena asked with concern.

"I will." Sophrina said. "How about your parents?" She said with curiousity.

Sophrina thought that it was a bit strange the way she said it. "What do you mean by that, aren't you going to visit them during the holidays?" She saw Alice's watery eyes and stepped closer to her.

"My parents?" Selena said with shock. Thinking about them made her wish she was normal. "They're wonderful... but... they're never really there. They shower me with gifts so that I forgive them, and they tell me that they love me..." Selena said softly, "but... sometimes I wished they'd care more..." Selena sighed. "When I was going to Hogwarts, they didn't bring me to the platform or anything, my mother was shopping in Milan and sent packages as sorry gifts, my father was too wrapped up in work and couldn't leave, my stepfather was in the middle of a legal case he couldn't step away from... so Mixie, my house elf, sent me here..." Selena said sadly. "You're lucky you have parents that care," Selena smiled, "my parents never notice when I'm gone..."

Shady thanked Selena as she went off to speak to another girl, then, with out warning, fell asleep with her uniform on...

Alice accepted the handkerchief and stared at both girls infront of her. Did they really care about her feelings? She was never this open to people she just met, but she knew that they deserved an answer. "Uh, well...my parents...they passed away several years ago." Alice could feel a tear slipping over, but quickly brushed it off. She didn't like anyone to see her cry.

Selena sighed softly as the girl zonked out. The dungeons were drafty. She tugged the blanket so that it covered Shady and smiled.


Selena's eyes widened with surprise. She hugged Alice. "There, there," she murmured as she rubbed Alice's back. "Don't cry," Selena frowned. "It's alright, they're always there, they're always going to be watching over you," Selena promised, "they're always there to make sure you're alright," Selena said comfortingly. Selena walked over to her trunk for a moment ,and pulled out a fresh box of unopened, untouched gourmet chocolates. "Chocolate always makes me feel better, it makes almost everyone feel better," Selena smiled, "here, have some," Selena said as she held the box out.

Sophrina was shocked to hear this from Selena. What parent wouldn't care about their child? This made her angry, every parent should care about their kid. "..." She was speechless. Sophie remembered how her parents would always wake her up in the morning with a smile on their faces and the way they told her they loved her. "Don't worry, one day they'll realize what an amazing daughter they have." Sophie smiled at her.

Sophrina gasped. "I'm so sorry." She could feel tears in her eyes too. Alice is a strong person. She thought. If it was her, Sophie would be a mess without them. She couldn't help it and ran over to Alice and gave her a hug.

"Thanks... but they've taught me enough... they cared for me once... but once my parents divorced... they didn't really care anymore... it was like I was the only thing keeping them together..." Selena sighed. She took a bite of the chocolate. "Want one?" Selena asked Sophrina,

Alice was beyond surprised by the reaction of her two new roomates. They actually cared. "Thanks." She said, gratefully to both girls. She accepted a chocolate and bit down on it. "It actually works." She smiled, tears no longer in her eyes.

"Of course it does," Selena smirked, "Chocolate makes the world go round!" Selena exclaimed. "Here, have the rest, I have more boxes of those anyways... besides... my parents keep sending it so I won't get mad at them," Selena shrugged. "It's better to have parents who love you and aren't here than to have parents who don't care about you and is here," Selena said honestly.

Sophrina took a chocolate, she loved chocolate. She smiled as she bit, tasting the sugary substance. "Thank you, I needed it." she giggled.

"No problem," Selena smiled, "I seem to have an unlimited supply anyways," Selena shrugged.

"Wow, really thank you." Alice smiled sincerely at Selena. Alice was definately never going to forget this day. Girls were being nice to her and actually cared about her feelings. "Thanks for everything...really." She smiled.

Dianna got down the steps and turned right to where the girls dorm were. She was pretty excited today and couldn't even believe she was going to attend Hogwarts already! Finding her trunk and owl in front of a four poster bed draped in green and silver curtains she felt at home. Of course she would miss her parents but this is her time to make new friends and at least explore new things...

Kiera looked at her bags. God. Would she ever learn to pack lighter. Her trunks were heavy for someone as short as her. Five years at hogwarts never began to seem to be montone. Each day something interesting, even Kiera, a well known snob found this school to let her open up a bit. Kiera always liked the first day of school, it was so interesting to see al the new people, even if Kiera was a bit of a loner. But she never let people know it.

even though she was a fifth year Kiera never had to many friends, all eitheir boys or from Hufflepuff, or both, so now she had no one. It didnt stop her from knowing she was wonderful, but still she felt those tinges of insecurity biteing at her stomach. Maybe this year it'd be different, and she looked around her dorm room seeing who was around holding the soft green curtians of her bed as she did so.

"Hey, that's what friends are for, right?" Selena smiled. "It's no problem." Selena said sincerely.

Trixie strutted into the girls dormitory in the Slytherin Common Room. Green wasn't here favourite colour, but she looked good in it so she didn't exactly care. Looking around at the other students, mostly younger ones, she rolled her eyes and huffed. How she wished she was back in that Pale Blue uniform of Beauxbatons school. What exactly was there to do around here? Just sit in the common room and talk? Ergh how boring.

Etoile half ran into the room. her eyes instantly focused on her truck, and then on a cosy looking four poster. She jumped up into the room, face down. Ahh. That was so nice she could feel the strain of the long day disappearing.
She lifted her head slightly up so she could at least breath.
" I'm afraid if I fall asleep I might never wake up." She said in a low voice and turned around and sat up. She noticed Selena handing chocolate to another girl.
"Hey Sel!" She shouted. there were many first years in there!
"Do you have some more of that?" she asked eagerly. Sure, she had eaten her own weight in chocolate pudding down at the feast. But there was, indeed ; Always room for more chocolate.

Etoile walked over to a girl writing a letter.
"I know this sounds like I'm the most curious person on the planet, and belive me I think I'm being Possessed with sugar, But Who are you writing to so early?" The term had hardly started. She really wanted to write to her grandma, but she wanted to wait until after the first day. "I mean, Why won't you join us and write your letter tomorrow." She gave a small frown. "Except.. If it's really important. Hope I'm not bothering you.." She trailed off.

Kenna smiled. "It'll be kinda weird without my brothers, but nice without Mother. So, favorite holiday?" She bounced a little on the bed she was sitting on.

Marilyn entered the Third Year Dorms, entirely too tired to really care about any commotion or conversations going on around her. Through out the entire Welcome Feast, the blonde had to endure Marie...who really thought she was something else. She'd seen the girl talking to Rafe. Even though, she'd been sitting there with Carter, it didn't make much difference. Marilyn didn't want her anywhere near what was hers! Just sharing a dorm was enough!

Sitting down on the bed with her trunk neatly placed in front of it, she silently stewed. Yes, she was tired, exhausted really...but her irritation was getting the best of her. Vividly dangerous thoughts kept flying through her mind. Causing bodily harm wouldn't be enough. Humiliation wouldn't be enough...So, what was she going to do?

"Hey Edie," Selena smiled, "wait just a moment, I'll get some more," Selena said as she walked over to her trunk to pull out another box of chocolates. "Here you go," Selena smiled as she handed the box of whatever fancy chocolates her mother had bought her to one of her friends.

"Thanks!" She said, taking a bite. "mm. Fats Guud." She swallowed the chocolate. "So. What do you think of the common room? Awesome isin't it?"

"Yeah. I think I will thanks for everything." Libriana said closing the curtains to her bed.

"Me? Well... Christmas... it was the only time I spent a lot of times with my parents... given it was in a ballroom at night, but still," Selena smiled, "you?"


"That common room is great," Selena said enthusiastically, she really was a morning person, "the architecture and design is amazing, it's in balance and all," Selena smiled, "chocolate must be good," Selena teased.

"Oh, I LOVE Christmas! The decorations, and presents..." She smiled, getting lost in past thoughts. "Me, I really used to like my birthday, but now its not as fun." She sighed. "In July, my brothers said they're going to take me to America for the Fourth of July, they said its really fun."

"Really?" Selena smiled, "that must be lovely," Selena said, "America is beautiful, if you do need to visit though, I'll be at home," Selena smiled, "I'll probably be trying to memorize another book or practicing spells again," Selena laughed.

"It is!" Etoile smiled, ripping all the paper off the bar of chocolate.
"So, Have you made any new friends lately?" She took another bite of the chocolate It truly was amazing.

Kenna laughed. Then she remembered "Ugh, were not allowed to practice on break, are we? Thats SO stupid, we finally get wands, and then we get to go home and just not use them. Thats awesome..."

"It really does suck," Selena agreed. "If you ever need, there's always going to be some in the second drawer on the stand next to my bed," Selena smiled, "well, this is Kenna, if you two haven't already met," Selena said as she pulled Kenna over, "there's Alice over there and Sophrina," Selena added. "It's a bit early isn't it?" Selena smiled. "I think I'll go get some writing done later..." Selena said as she thought about the notebook under her pillow.

"Hi kenna!" Etoile smiled and waved.
"Do you know when we have our first lesson?" she was quite exited about starting classes.

"Yeah.Stupid rules." She nodded. "Oh, hi!" She smiled at the other girl, "I'm Kenna Starkenn. Are you a First Year too?" She smiled, holding out her hand. She noticed the notebook Selena was pushing under her pillow, she decided not to ask.

"it's no problem," Selena smiled, "sweet dreams..." she said as Libriana walked to her bed.

"I'm not really sure when, but I hope it's soon," Selena smiled. "I'm going to head out to the lake... there's... some things I need to do..." Selena said finally as she pulled one of her many bags out of a closet nearby. "I'll see you two later?" Selena asked as she dumped things into it, placing her sketchpad and notebook in there as well, away from sight.

"Oh, I don't know. I'm SO exited though! When do we get our schedules? Tomorrow at breakfast?" She wiggled with happiness, she couldn't wait. She waved bye to Selena and turned back to Edie. "How do you like Hogwarts? See anything cool?"

Marie walked into the girls dorm room and started to head straight for her bed. She was very tired after everything that had happend during the day and throughout the night. Her and Evan had sort of called a truce... after having another argument on the train. Her and Carter were... well she wasn't sure what they were anymore. The only thing she was sure of was that she still wanted to be his girlfriend, no matter what anyone said. And then there was Marilyn and the death glares she had been getting from her on the train. Geesh, what was her problem anyway? Why did she care who Carter was with? She was the one that left him for someone else.

Getting closer to her bed she noticed someone sitting on a bed near hers. Looking closer she seen it was...

Marilyn!

Oh great, just how she wanted to end her night. In a confrontation with her. Hoping she wouldn't say anything, Marie just went straight to her bed and sat in the middle of it without even looking towards Marilyn. There was no way she was going to be the one starting anything here. Not tonight anyway.

Marilyn was still silently fuming on her bed when she heard a sharp intake of breath. Subconsciously, she looked to her left to see who'd made the sound when her sight landing on none other than...

Marie...

Her green eyes narrowed dangerously, as she slowly stood from her bed. In all honesty, she wanted to severely hurt the girl slanding in front of her. But the only thing she could do was stare. Stare, stare, stare...in awe at this slags audacity. Were words needed at this point? What could she say, really?

She opened her mouth...but then closed it again. Words weren't good enough at this point...Instead, she slowly withdrew her wand, aiming it clearly at Marie.

"You know, in Italy...they kill people like you."

Kiera saw somebody she hadnt seen the year before, the girl was taller than her yes (but so was some the first years). Being only five feet tall was a bit of a curse sometimes... The girl had been rolling her eyes a few seconds ago, something Kiera wished she could do almost every second of everyday. She remembered how awful it was not to no anybody, as she kind of did now, so she walked up to the girl and tried her best to seem personable. "Hi there! I'm Kiera, your a fifth year too?"

Really... Just REALLY!

Marie was having a rotten night and now she had to deal with Marilyn. First Carter tells her he doesn't want to be her boyfriend right now because he doesn't want people to talk about her, then Evan blows up at her just because she was trying to tell him how she felt when he left last term (so much for their truce), and now Marilyn was pointing a wand at her. Could her night get any worse?

"Kill people like me? What the hell are you talking about!?" she shouted at her. "And get that wand out of my face," she said as she pushed Marilyns wand away from her.

Was this night ever going to end?

Marilyn allowed Marie to push the wand out of her face...but it remained in the girls hand. She was unsure about talking to Marie right now. She felt too...pent up and frustrated, angry, close to bursting, to be honest. There was no reigning it in, however.

"While I obviously care so much about your horrible day...and your ladylike mouth..." (insert eyeroll) "...What I can't seem to wrap my mind around is how you could smile in my face last year and then proceed to do this." Marilyn gave the girl a calculating look, something she'd perfected from her brother. "I'm not sure when, exactly...but I will pay you back...heavily."

"Hey," said Savannah shaking her hand. "I'm Savannah. Savannah Black. I'm a first year too." she said. "It's always nice to meet new snakes!"

"It's a pleasure to meet you too," Selena smiled. "So, what do you think of Hogwarts so far?" she asked.

What was with this girl? Did she not know how to answer a question?

"Again, what are you talking about? I have done nothing to you." Marie hadn't even talked to Marilyn in months, how is it that she could have done something to her? "Really? You're going to pay me back? Well why don't you enlighten me on what it is I did to you? You know so I know exactly what I'm getting paid back for." She glared back at Marilyn. She had been through worse than this, she was not about to let this girl think she could scare her with a few little threats.

Marilyn really didn't like this girl. Like she didn't know what she'd done. What a joke!

"Oh, you don't know? I find that interesting. Well, when youre in pain and can't sleep at night because your sheets keep catching fire...or when your clothes continue to melt off your body in class...Maybe that will inspire the brain power to really think about what you could have possibly done to me." The blonde felt vindictive and hateful...and no one was safe. Too bad Marie had upset her when she did. It'd been a crappy couple of weeks and Marilyn felt like she might burst from all the frustration of it.

Without waiting for a response, she glided back towards her bed. While Marilyn wasn't tired, the girl really didn't want to be awake either.

Aysel was immediately startled when she heard the other girl's voice. Looking up quickly, she seemed rather stunned by the rather bold introduction. Aysel responded, "I am writing to my younger brother, Kieran. He's quite little, and I'm sure he must miss me by now. Oh! I haven't introduced myself; my name is Aysel Morrow. What's yours?

"Hullo everyone!" Sarah said excitedly as she walked into the First Year Girls Dormitories. "So I seenthat there are a fair amount of first year slytherins. Anyways I'm Sarah, Sarah Lestrange. Oh, hello Etoile I almost never saw you amongst this crowd." She smiled at her friend and of course all the others hoping to become friends with them as well. "I hope my sister Scarlett and I are beside each other." she said eagerly looking around the room. "Yay! I got my wish it looks like. Sorry it's just that we only found out we were sister, faternal twins actually, a few weeks ago in diagonal alley because we were seperated at birth." she smiled her pearly White smile putting her curly brown and slightly blonde hair up into a ponytail as she did every night and headed into the bathroom for washing her face and brushing her teeth then coming out to her smiling roommates she stood in there circle trying to make conversation waiting for her sister to come into the dorm.

OOC: going to bed now I'll reply to anyone who replies to this later.

Libriana laid in her bed for what seemed to be hours before she got up and changed. She noticed Selena was writing so she quietly snuck out of the dorm to not bother her.

As Sarah woke up that morning she stretched and let out a quite yaaaawwwwwnnn. She saw that two girls whom she had learnt were Selena and Libriana were already awake and as Libriana shuffled to the bathroom and Selena was writing her letter...letter? "Oh yea." she said excitedly forgetting that the others were still sleeping. She got a quizzical staare from Selena and saw that a few others shifted in their beds, but was still sleeping. Phew! She thought. She got up and looked through her trunks, which she stillhadnt unpacked, and she tetras the letter sent by her mum.

I'm writing to tell you about your Cousin Vicky. She's getting married! AND she wants you and Scarlett to be her bridesmaids, since you two are her only first cousins, and she has Rosie, you remember her sister, as her maid of honor! How exciting is that? Since I know you love weddings, although I was never sure about Scarlett on that topic, please say yes and don't forget to tell Scarlett.

Sarah took out a piece of parchment and some ink along with her favorite quill. She responded.

'Mum,
That's great news! You're right I do love weddings and I told Scar but I don't know wether she's happy about being in it or not. Oh, and guess what? Scar and I made it into Slytherin! I'm actually in the girls dorm right now! You were so right it's awesome here. I've already met our head of house/DADA teacher, Professor Truebridge. I've also signed up for a Duelling Club and I still have to unpack. There are tons of great people here, I've already made lots of friends like Aileen, Trin, JP, Maddie, Etoile, and Justin. She folded it and got dressed, she'd have a shower and all that when she gets back. So she left off to the owlery to send her letter.

Selena looked up from her writing. She glanced around the dorms, many were still asleep. Libriana left though... She looked at the other girl, she was reading something? A letter? As the girl... Sarah, she believed, was her name, walked out as well. Looking down at her notebook, she sighed before flipping to yet another page to continue writing...

Etoile woke up, later that she planed to and sat up silently. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. She noticed Selena hunched over a book. "Good morning sunshine!. Drawing again are we?" she asked her as she slipped from her bed and started putting on her robes.
"Did you have breakfast yet?"

Savannah saw that girl she saw at the Leaky Cauldron, she went over. "Hey, nice to see you again."

"It's pretty cool." answered Savannah. "Have you tried out for the Quidditch Team?"

"Good morning, Edie~" Selena said brightly, "no, not drawing," Selena smiled, "I had a bit, though I get hungry quite fast," Selena laughed. "Do you want to go grab some breakfast?" Selena asked.

"Um... no... I can't," Selena blushed, "I don't know how to fly..." Selena said. "What about you?" Selena asked.

"yeah, I did." said Savannah feeling bad for her not knowing how to fly. "But I don't think I'm going to get picked though. I'm just a first year."

"Oh yeah. Want to go down now?" Etoile asked as she finished dressing.
"I'm starving!"

"Hahaha, okay," Selena giggled as she slipped on a pair of flats and followed Edie to the Great Hall.

"hahaha, you'll probably make it in," Selena smiled.

Etoile followed her friend. "Hold on! I forgot, I was going to sign up for the Quidditch team. Why don't you go down and I meet you there in five?"

(ooc. you were allready there from earlier and im there now!)

A girl entered the dormatory. She did startle Dianna at first but seemed nice to talk to sometime...

"Hey again" she smiled back Savannah. "So how are you liking this so far?" she asked.

Marie laughed at the threats Marilyn was throwing at her. "Whatever, your little threats don't scare me. I've dealt with much worse than you before." She then turned and went back to her bed. She was not going to argue with someone when she didn't even know what it was she had done.

Upon sitting on her bed she looked over at the table where her flowers were that Carter gave her. That's when it hit her... Marilyn was mad because she was friends with Carter. "You're jealous because of my friendship with Carter aren't you!?" She said looking back over at Marilyn.

Unbelievable... Marilyn dumped him for one of his friends and now she was mad because Marie was friends soon to be his girlfriend with him.

For Ella
 

Emma sat on her bed, reading a book. She needed to finish this chapter before going downstairs, or the suspense was going to kill her.. She quickly read the last few words, she looked over the dormitory to see Ella there. "Hey Ella. You okay?" asked Emma, not sure how the older girl was going to reply back.

Emma smiled as she turned around and saw her cousin. "Hey Dianna! Haven't seen you since the train! How's it been?" asked Emma, glad to see her cousin.

"You think so?" Savannah wasn't sure of herself. "What are you most interested to learn at Hogwarts Selena?" she changed the subject.

"It's pretty nice." replied Savannah. "What about you?"

Selena noted that Savannah had changed the topic. "Hmm.... probably potions, astronomy, divination and charms," Selena smiled, "you?"


Selena noticed a girl leaning against the wall, looking quite alone. She wasn't doing anything, so Selena decided to approach her. "Hey, are you alright?" Selena asked, as she bit into yet another chocolate, "you seem a bit..." Selena tried to find the right word, "tired? Lonely?" Selena tried as she smiled at the girl.

Savannah thought for a moment. "Potion and astronomy," she said. "Stars always ineterets me." she added.

"Yeah, the stars are fascinating," Selena agreed. "They seem so much more magical than being a witch..." Selena said with a faint smile. "Stars can tell you so much," Selena said. "I can't wait for classes to start, but I can definitely wait on the homework... I'm dreading the work..." Selena admitted sheepishly.

Breaking her gaze from the wall, Ella looked towards a girl who had just aknowledged her. Hmmm, she tried to place the familiar face but it wasn't coming to her easily. A lightbulb switched on in her head as she finally remembered. It was Trixie's cousin. "Hi Emma. I'm totally fine thank you. Why? Don't I look fine?" She questioned. She didn't feel like being mean today so she felt obliged to return the question. "Are you alright Emma?"

"Huh." Ella said, creasing her eyebrows as she turned to her side. It was another girl but she had never seen this one before. "Yup. Tired and lonely sums me up right about now." She sighed heavily. It must be really obvious to people that she was feeling rubbish at the moment. She cleared her throat, "My name is Ella by the way." She introduced herself then waited for this girl to do the same.

"I'm Selena," Selena said. "It's nice meeting you, Ella," Selena smiled. "Tired and lonely? That's a terrible combination!" Selena exclaimed. "I say, you get some chocolate or something sweet!" Selena said, "do you want any?" Selena asked.

Etoile wandered into her dormatory. She was holding a book she had found lying around on the 4th floor corridor. Without looking up from the book, Etoile slipped under her covers and carried on reading. On the cover stood Numerology and Grammatica.

"Nice to meet you too Selena." Ella said, nodding her head. This girl seemed to be very friendly. Maybe even a little too friendly. That could get creepy eventually. "Yeah. I'm not sure why I feel like this." She shrugged. It's not like anything particulary bad had happened in her life recently. "I'm just having a funny old day I reckon." At the mention of chocolate, Ella had only one question on her mind. "Sure! Do you have any chocolate frogs?" She asked. They were like her obsession at the moment.
