Seventh Floor Corridor You must passage through this way to get to towers above the fray. |
Amy walked down the corridor and toward the owlery, checking that Maddie was behind her, come on, she called back |
'I'm coming!' called Maddie |
Amy walked out from the owlery, ok tell Lissa I'm going to bed, I'm gonna collapse on my feet otherwise she said, this will work I have a feeling, tell Lissa to meet me for breakfast tomorow and we'll meet at the ravvie table to watch, night she called as she walked off |
Hogwarts, obviously, was a place that could not ever become boring. Ever. EVER. At least not for Shoshannah. She had decided to start her inside exploration of the castle from the top, work her way down from there. That....meant a stroll down the corridor. Although, she needed to owl her mum too. Mum worried, too much in Sho's opinion, but she had promised to owl once a week. So she would even if the letting sending objective had taken a back seat to exploring every nook and cranny in the castle. She'd get to the Owlery. Eventually. |
Gryffindor Tower was as noisy and chaotic as ever--at least in Brinkley's opinion. He walked slowly away from the scene not before launching a disdainful look over his shoulder at the Fat Lady. The least she could do was bid him goodbye. Apparently, she couldn't let bygones be bygones. Brinkley had already apologized for calling her remarkably obese and two seconds away from a stroke three terms ago. Were all portraits prone to holding grudges? Humming inquisitively as he peeked down at his itchy red palm, Brinkley stopped centimeters short of bumping into someone of the fairer sex. "You're in the way, love." |
In an effort to find out a bit more about the new staff, Raiden was on the seventh floor. Yes, he was very aware that there were no classes held in the corridor. He was here for the Astronomy Tower. And he would've made it there too, had he not gotten distracted by two students he'd... never seen before. The boy was creepily close to the girl; Raiden paused and just looked at them for a moment before approaching the pair and raising his hand in greeting. "Uhm... hi. You guys new?" Hopefully they weren't lost or something. And hopefully the boy wasn't picking on the girl. Him, you know, being all close proximity to her and stuff. |

Do not - I repeat, do NOT - ask why Gold was here. That was her business. But the fact that she had just spotted Raiden, cheered her up. The redhead tucked a bright red bang of hair behind an ear - you would think chopping up all that hair would get her rid of that habit but, apparently, it had only reinforced it - and skipped over to him. "Raiden!" Okay, so he already knew his name own. She ought to say something else. "What are you doing up here?" Great. Now she sounded nosy. |

Blushing a little and taking a step back (he was way too close and it made her a bit nervous) she shook her head. " I can't possibly be your love, or like...a love. I don't even KNOW you." She said, chuckling awkwardly. She took a breath and then composed herself. This was a golden opportunity to make a friend! Even if she'd made a rather egregious assumption by thinking he was proclaiming love for her or some other such insanity. " I'm Shoshannah," She said, sticking her hand out for him to shake, a big grin on her face. Her cheeks though...still a bit pink. Which was when she heard another person. OH. It was one of those guys...Prefects. Her dad had told them about those. He had a badge and everything. " Hello!" She waved cheerfully and then put her hand back down again for Gryffindor to shake. " I'm new. I don't know about this guy though." She said with a shrug. |
It seemed Brinkley Neal Hasselhof had managed to successfully creep out yet another Ravenclaw. If he kept it up, he might surpass his record: 10. Just when he had begun to open his mouth (and possibly creep the Raven Girl some more) he was interrupted by someone he knew from sight. Slytherin Prefect Raiden Kururugi. He was asking him if he was new. Brink stared at the prefect out of the corner of his eyes before rolling his eyes. "Tsk," he breathed out, taking his annoyance out on the nearest suit of armor. "Being in the same classroom, you'd think he'd notice the people around him." Apparently, not. Apparently, the prefect badge had a nasty side-effect: obliviousness; or partial blindness. Speaking of partial blindness, Brinkley squinted against the glare of Gold Laksh's bright head, while the Ravenclaw went on some kind of nervous stutter-rap thing. Even out of the common room he wasn't safe from her shocking hair color. It was unfortunate. It wasn't as unfortunate as the Ravenclaw girl's name though. Shoshannah? ??? "Sho it is," murmured Brink as he pocketed his hands. "And this guy's name is Brinkley. Thank you," he enunciated the last two words slowly and loudly with a nod of his head before continuing much in the same fashion. "Nice to meet you, too." |
Oh. Now that the girl had moved a bit, Raiden could fully see the boy. He felt his face go a bit red; he knew who this was. Wow fail. "Er. Sorry." Raiden looked at the girl and shook his head. "He's... not. You were just in front of him, and I didn't realise... Yeah. Uhm..." He held out his hand to the girl. "I'm Raiden Kururugi. Yoroshiku." A familiar voice caught his attention and Raiden turned toward it, a grin sneaking onto his face at the sight of Gold. Giving her a half-wave, he jerked his head toward the Astronomy Tower. "Being a bit nosy. I wanted to meet some of the new Professors, but I got a bit... distracted. At the feast. What with Miss Professor Lainey being there, and then a firstie losing us 50 points..." That... that had sucked. "How are you?" |
Merlin's beard, so many new people! Sho was practically ecstatic. The bounciness within was expressed in big ol' sunshiney smile for the few moments she was meeting the other boy, the Prefect Boy. " Raiden. You have a cool name. I'm Shoshannah, but like Brinkley here," She jabbed a thumb over her shoulder," You'll find it's easier to call me Sho." She informed him as she shook his hand. Raiden was a lot more ...mellow, she figured, than this Brinkley guy. That was when she spotted the girl with the LOVELIEST hair she'd ever seen. " Your hair! It's so pretty." she said, wearing a rather awestruck expression. " Gosh. My hair is practically drab in comparison." She said, picking up a curly strand and eying it. Yep. Brown. Dark, dark brown. " I'm Sho, by the way!" She called out with her usual grin. The letter? Utterly forgotten now. |
Amy rounded the corner angrilly and turned to the wall, slaming her fists on it, she let out an angry cry and sunk to the floor, her head in her hands, crying quietly |

Making it all the way to the top of the stairs, Ella finally made it to the Seventh floor. A place where she hadn't explored yet and meh, there wasn't a lot up here apart from a boring old corridor. Well... there was the Room of Requirement! But she would make sure to go there with someone else rather than by herself. As of now, maybe she should just turn back around and go somewhere more interesting. But ehh, too much effort! Besides, she needed a break from the people that she clearly saw too often at the moment. Trixie for starters. Ugh, that girl was everywhere. Ella glanced around the corridor briefly just in case she was lurking behind a wall or something. Well, she obviously wasn't so Ella has just looked all shifty and dectective-like for no reason. She whipped back around and accidently tripped on her undone shoelace. Dang!! She sighed and just sat there for a moment. This was not her day so far. |

BUMP! At this sound the Prefect whirled around - directing her attention AWAY from the possible change in orientation-sense, she would come back to that again some time later - and eyed the corridor she was standing thoroughly. Only to find nothing. Err. "Hello?" Nancy called, just in case there was in fact somebody there after all, before she quickened her steps to round the next corner. Oh, there was somebody. Somebody who looked vaguely familiar. "You okay?" She furrowed her brow slightly as she slowly approached the other girl. She seemed to be okay though. |

"Oh - Umm yeah i'm fine, I just..." Hmm, how to say this without sounding like an idiot. "Tripped on my shoe lace..." Well that didn't work, she looked like a total clutz now. She glanced at her shoes then quickly tied them up to take away any risk of tripping for the rest of the day. Once she had done so, she looked up again. "Do I know you from somewhere?" She asked, studying the girls face. 'Cause she hadn't actually met anyone older than her yet. OH! It was that stupid prefect that butted into hers and Patrick's conversation. |

Still waiting for her to take her hand...or get up otherwise, Nancy mimicked her actions by studying her face likewise. Where did she know her fro-"The meeting...the meeting in Duelling Arena." A frown flashed across her face at that thought. "I'm Nancy. Slytherin Prefect." Though she probably already knew that...it probably had become quite obvious at the meeting. Cough. |

As the girl studied Ella's face too, she nodded when she finally remembered. "Yeah. I was talking to someone and you |
