Professor Iliana Lawson's Hut Upon entering through the heavy wooden door, you step into a large, brightly lit room. The walls are painted in a warm, chocolate brown, broken up by sheer white curtains, while the plain wood floor is accented with a stark white rug. A sweet fragrance reminiscent of autumn leaves lingers here as a surprising draft comes through the open window. Off to the side sits a large mahogany desk lined with pictures. Behind her desk, the wall is obscured entirely by floor to ceiling bookshelves. Her Meritorious Service awards from St. Mungo's hang on the adjacent wall surrounded by family photos. Next to her desk stands Vincent's cage, though you'll seldom find him inside. From her desk, Professor Lawson has the most amazing view of the grounds. This is where you will often find her pouring over lesson plans or grading assignments. The small fireplace on the opposite wall is surrounded by oversized, cream colored leather chairs with soft, tiffany blue pillows. Everything about this tranquil space seems to draw you to it. Don't fight it. Come inside and relax for awhile. Just remember to knock first. |
Ellie found a... hut? Is this the Care of Magical Creatures office? Really? She wrinkled her forehead in confusion. But she shrugged and sighed. There was no sign telling her to knock, but she did. Thinking it was rude to just enter someone's office. Or hut... Knock, Knock, Knock. |
She had told herself that she was looking for Ivory, but honestly she wasn't. If she had been looking for her best friend, really searching, then she would be up in the library where the Ravenclaw was most likely to be located and not out on the grounds were she could always be found. Maybe it was cause she was in no hurry to take all those stairs and pass the corridors that held bad memories, or maybe not, no one really knows. Arya was glad to be back on the grounds, it was the one thing she missed the most about this castle. Chewing on a piece of gum, she idly blew bubbles as she slowly made her way to Lady Lawson's hut. How she went all of last term without visiting the woman was beyond her, but the second year was making sure she wouldn't make the same mistake twice. As she neared the hut, she spotted a first year knocking on the door. Standing beside the younger girl, she joined her in waiting for the professor, smiling softly at her and popping another bubble before speaking. "Hey." |

Lolz I found joo!!!! ^,^ Hope you don't mind her tagging along with her bestie SPOILER!!: Bestie! Ivory was running. Quite quickly too. Through the pathway, through the grounds, skipping over a small little hole, making sure to not land in any mud puddles...all for one reason. Well two. Well they weren't reasons so much as a person. Two persons. A people? Peoples? People. Her first instinct upon arriving at Hogwarts at had truth be told been to head straight for the library, but that need was surpassed by a greater one. One that took great precedence over the one for knowledge. And that was- the need for company. After how the last term had ended, Ivory had spent most of her summer either surrounded by family or by her best friend Arya and her family and friends. She'd tried to avoid spending alone time...because when one was alone the mind tended to wander...and well. It was suffice to say the last thing she wanted was for her mind to wander on past memories. And that was why when she'd spotted her friend from outside a window she happened to be peering out of, she'd picked up the edges of her robes and ran after her. It wasn't until now, as her legs prepared to give out on her (it must be understood she was not what you would call overly athletic, and by no means was a run down several flights of stairs and half the grounds a piece of cake) that she realized where exactly her best friend had been heading. Smiling as she clutched her side, she tried to control her breathing to quiet wheezes as she snuck up behind her friend. Giving the other girl there a friendly smile, she brought up her finger to her mouth so she wouldn't say anything and then pounced up behind Arya and covered her eyes with her hands. "Guess who!?!" |
Of course I don't mind, after all she IS looking for Ivy XD Arya smiled at the younger girl who didn't seem too talkative, then again she didn't say anything that would give her incentive to say more than a simple hello. Blowing another bubble she rocked back on her heels before introducing herself. "I'm Arya, second year. What's your name?" She didn't recognize the girl and seeing how she looked younger than her, Arya assumed that she was first year. It felt a little weird not being the youngest at the school, a good weird though. As she waited for a response, Arya thought that she had heard someone behind her but passed it off as another student running around the ground. When she felt a pair of hands cover her eyes a grin crossed her face, of course she knew who it was. Had the hands been any larger she would have thought it to be Sabel or Raiden, but the small hands and the sound of the oh so familiar voice could only belong to one person, Ivory. "Hmm, could it be my favoritest Ravenclaw?" Giggling she removed the hands and turned around, giving her friend a big hug. "I was looking for you." |
Magnolia walked across the grounds admiring the huge lake, the forbidden forest and the view of the enormous castle. She was still in shock from the feast last night, and couldnt believe that everything here was actually real, actually happening to her! Magnolia regained her composure. She was on a mission, a mission to find the care of magical creatures teacher. Magnolia had always adored animals and was most excited about learning about the creatures she never knew existed! Finally she saw a small cottage and knew she had found the right place. Maggie was surprised to see a small group of students next to the hut. She walked over slowly, and knocked gently on the door. |
Kevin wandered along the grounds to where the care of magical creatures professors hut was a saw there was a bit of a group already waiting outside so he stood with the rest waiting for the professor to show up |
YAY but fail my short post Quote:
"The one and only!" Ivory hugged her friend back tenfold while giggling. "So was I! I guess great minds do think alike." Smiling, she turned to the other younger girl. "Hiya!" |

Haoto had managed to wander outside. He could hear Kioni calling from somewhere in the distance. The Philippine Eagle had found something and she wanted him to see it. He followed the whistling noises and heard a crowd of people outside what seemed like a small building. Cautiously he made his way over. "Um... Excuse me... Where are we?" He asked the crowd hoping for an answer. |

Her eyes scanned the skies before looking back to him with a smile. She had never known anyone to have a eagle as a pet, but then again there was a lot of interesting things she found out while being at Hogwarts. "Why were here to see the professor of course!" She responded to his question, as if there couldn't be any other reason. |
Red and sweaty, Ty heaved and panted as he finally arrived at the CoMC professor's office. Man, Hogwarts was BIIIIG. Gently holding Send (that's not Ty's hand) in his hand (the fact that she was a tiny elf owl helped), he eyed the students waiting there before going up to the door himself and banged on in. "Professor, Professor! Send, my owl, something's wrong with her! Her wing is all crooked and weird and she's so sad! Please, Professor, you have to help her - she's only a baby, only two months old!" Ty said, his tiny fist banging as hard as he could on the heavy door. He felt Send begin to shiver in his hand. EEEP. She wasn't allowed to die!! She COULDN'T. She was still a baby - she had to grow and be big and stuff. Ty couldn't remember the last time he had seen her eat - maybe all those BIG owls had taken all her food??!!!?!? MEAN. Mean mean mean and evil. |
Professor Lawson was in the back room of her hut when the students started to arrive. She had just laid Ava down in her crib when she heard the knock(s) at her door. Quietly, she slipped from the room and closed the door behind her, leaving it open just a crack in case the baby woke up. Eager to see who had come to visit, the professor hurried over and flung open the door. WOW!! That was a LOT of students. Some she recognized; some she didn't. "Hello everyone," she said brightly. "Please come in." |
Kevin smiled at the Professor and entered the hut and said "Hi Professor my name is Kevin McKay i am looking forward to your lessons this year" |
Ellie walked in. "Hi Professor, my name's Ellie Stone. I just had a question for you..." she said, looking around at all the other students? Really? Was it that hard to talk in private anymore. |
Quote:
As the Professor opened the door, the freaked out little boy barged through the hordes of people in attempt to reach the Professor. Apparently, he would need to repeat what he had said before - and Send was still shivering!!! "Hold on, Send, just hold on - I'll get you fixed in no time... Though you should have eaten, you know, migh-" Ty cut his whispered rant off, figuring that giving his baby owl a lecture might not be the best idea right about now. "Professor!" he began, squeaking up at her as he held out his injured out for her to see. "Something happened to her! She's just a baby, but she's always really tough and feisty and you know, ENERGETIC and healthy - but look at her wing, Professor, it's all weird and bent and she's shivering and she's only two months old, my Send, she was a gift and Professor help me, I don't want her to die!" Ty stopped without taking a moment to breathe, not caring that he was interrupting other people. HIS OWL WAS DYING. And she was in PAIN. Send needed his help, and Ty would not rest until she was given the best care he could give her. She was NOT going to die. |

Suddenly her attention was draw to a more important fact however... the opening of the door and the appearance of her mother away from home and her favorite professor. "Lady Lawson!" Not able to contain herself, Ivory gave the woman the biggest hug she could. |
Many thoughts had run through Arya's mind, so many in fact that we don't have the time to go through them all. Just know that none of them had anything to do with the current situation. When the door swung open, she turned from the big group of students who had crowded around the professors door with a big grin. "Hey Lawson!" She gave her a big hug with her bestie as well before letting go to explore the office. Since she had never been in here before, the second year started with the first thing that caught her eye, the same as when in Sir Lawson's office, the many pictures. |
Magnolia hung back a little. She was feeling a little shy about meeting her new professor and the crowds weren't helping. She slid back out of the office and decided to come back later when it was less busy. |

"Yeah, that would be the smartest thing, I guess." she said. It would still be funny to watch. As long as he didn't hit a tree. |
Josey walked over to Mrs. Professor Lawsons hut. Arya had told her that she was a pretty cool teacher, so she wanted to meet her. She walked up the steps and knowcked on tha door. Then she waited. |

"I'm sure that I can help her," she assured him. "Place her on my desk and we'll give her a thorough examination." Iliana found it always helped when the kids could watch over their injured pets as she treated them. It seemed to set their minds at ease somehow. Quote:

Before she could say anymore, she heard another knock at her door. She loosened her grip on the girls and said, "Make yourselves at home, ladies." Then she peered out the open door. Quote:

Maggie was so excited to meet the care of magical creatures professor that she basically skipped down the lawn to her office. She didn't know exactly what she was going to say, but maggie figured she would just be honest and hope for the best. She knocked on the door to Professor Lawson's hut and waited with baited breath. |
Kevin smiled and said "Thank you Professor Lawson" Kevin made his way over to the fireplace where the cookies were and took one to eat he was excited about care of magical creatures this term for some reason |

She was of course slightly oblivious to the other students with the exception of her best friend as they spoke to Lady Lawson. She was much more interested in the items the filled Lady Lawson's hut, having never been inside it before. Running her socked feet over the rug, she slowly began to work her way around the room, looking at all the pictures and awards before moving on to cage. "How are you doing Lady Lawson? How's Ava?" As she eyed the cage curiously, she didn't bother to question where the infant was assuming her to be with Sir Lawson. |

Iliana glanced out her window towards the stables and smiled dreamily. "There is such a place," she answered, purposely vague. "More will be explained during my first lesson. I do hope to see you there." Quote:
"Just wonderful, Arya. We all are," said casually, holding back a yawn. "I just laid her down for a nap." She nodded her head in the direction of the back room and brought her finger to her mouth in a 'shhh'ing gesture. "How was the rest of your summer?" Quote:
"Professor Iliana Lawson," she said, holding out her hand. "To whom do I owe the pleasure?" |
Quote:
"Oh, I'm so excited. I will definitely be there!" she said, enthusiastically. |

"It was good, we visited a lot of the sites in London." She said, lowering her voice as her gaze turned to the room Ava was in before falling back onto the cage. Arya leaned her head closer to the cage when she thought she saw movement, which was a big mistake. Once the creature inside finally took notice of Arya, he lept up to the front of the cage scaring the bejeebers out of the second year. She leapt back, almost stumbling, with a startled expression obviously not expecting it. Arya looked at Lady Lawson with a sheepish grin, "You could've warned me." A hint of laughter in her voice. Gathering herself, she step closer to the cage and studied the golden creature with bright eyes. "Is this a......" She paused thoughtfully, "....Golden Snidget?" Oh yea, she knew her magical creatures. It is her favorite class, so of course she had opened up her book on creatures over the break. Spotting Josey, she gave the girl a little wave. |

At once, Vincent zipped out of his cage and perched contently on the professor's shoulder. "That's right, Arya," she said, petting the snidget's tiny head. "This is Vincent. Would you like to hold him?" |

CALM DOWN!?!?!?!?!???? NNOOOOOOO!!! EVERYONE said calm down when someone wasn't going to be ok. They'd tell them to relax and take deep breaths and stuffs - OH NO!!! Ty had gone as white as a sheet and he simply placed his Send down gently on the table, his tiny hands shaking violently in sync with her own quivering. She was a present from Uncle James. She was HIS owl - his FRIEND. His feisty, loving owl friend. SEEENNNNDDD!! "O-Okay," Ty's squeaky voice shook, and his eyes wide eyes stopped blinking as he focused on what the Professor was doing. >___< This was SOOO scary! |

"Can't wait." Ellie smiled, "I'll see you then." Then, seeing no point in staying, especially since so many people were coming in, she left. |

If the hut is too full, she can wait! :D This was it. Destiny was tired of his shenanigans, and if he didn't stop, she was shipping him to her grandmothers. One day there, alone, would whip him into shape in no time. But she did not want to resort to that, since he was still, technically a baby kitty. He may not look like it, but he was. The only other person besides her grandmother that might be able to fix him would be, none other the Care of Magical Creatures Professor! Which is where she was...standing outside a hut she has never been into. Walking up to the door, with her cat, Sly, under one arm, Destiny extended the other to knock. She was going to knock very hard and very loudly, but stopped herself as she remembered there miiiiiight be a baby in there. She wanted to HOLD it *Knock, knock, knock* Hopefully Professor MorganLawson heard that. |
Ooop oh so late Sowwies :) Quote:

Although she was a little crestfallen that baby Ava was asleep, Ivory didn't let it bother her one bit. After all, this way they got to talk to Lady Lawson without worrying that they were taking her away from her mommy-daughter time. Quote:
Smiling at the memory of the summer, she nodded along with Arya's description as she looked through the little bars. "It was great. We even got to spend two weeks with eachother, one with each of our famil-IES." The last part of her sentence ended up in a slight yelp as a bright bird flew forward in the cage making her jump about a good foot in the air. Almost immediately she erupted into giggles speckled with a few funny snorts of laughter. Wow. That bird was truly a one of a kind. Not many birds she knew of had the ninja skills that this one did. Oh how she'd missed Lady Lawson. Only she could make her laugh this much. Quote:
Quote:
Staring at its tiny features, Ivory giggled again. Bringing her arms out she gave a small curtsy. "Good afternoon Vincent. I'm Ivory and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. |
So sorry. Please don't kill me for being gone so long. >_< Quote:
With the wing mended, she reached into her pocket and brought out some of Vinnie's favorite treats. She handed the treats to over to the boy... (she still hadn't learned his name) and said, "I have a tonic I can give her to help her feel better. Why don't you feed her some of these while I run and fetch it?" Quote:
Hearing the young girl's question, Iliana leaned forward and whispered in her ear. "You're going to learn so much this term. I think you'll be VERY pleased." Then she stood back up and shook her head. "There isn't today. But I'll definitely keep you in mind if I think of something." Quote:
Quote:
Ili reached into her pocket and pulled out the last of the treats. "Would you like to feed him?" she asked, reaching into her pocket and pulling out the last of the treats. "I'm so glad you girls stopped by," she added softly, dropping them into her hand. Quote:
|
We love you Lisa!! Quote:
YAAAAAYYYY!!!! Looking up with admiring eyes at the Professor who saved his owl's life, Ty took the treats from her and nodded. "Okay, Professor! Thank you so so so so much! You saved her life!" Ty gushed as he began to stroke Send gently, feeding her the tiny treats carefully. He wouldn't want her to be sick. As the owl hooted in thanks, Ty beamed at her then back at the Professor. MIRACLE WORKER, she was. See!! Hogwarts Professors were AWESOME - there was no way his mother could have just tapped the wing and made it heal. AMAZING. |
Quote:
Looking up from the Snidget, but still stroking him, she listened to Lawson. "Where did you get him from?" She couldn't believe that he was smaller than this. |
Ellie came back to the nice COMC teacher's office. She wanted to ask her something. And she hadn't had her class yet, so she couldn't judge Ellie yet. So she was still that nice, sweet, girl Ellie ought to be. KNOCK KNOCK. |
Quote:
Or was that dogs? Ehh. When she heard the Professor call out for her to enter, Destiny almost dropped Sly right out of her hands. The cat didn't like that either. She shifted him under her arm once more and opened the door. "Hullo Professor!" she greeted as she entered and shut the door behind her. Looking around the hut, her eyes fell on the yellow creature known as raccoon girl, and on the shoulder of that creature sat a bird! "Don't worry. Sly won't eat the bird. He only eats grass." Which was the reason why she was there. |
Quote:
"And as promised," she said, pulling a tiny phial out of her pocket. "Put 2 to 3 drops into her water each night before bed. You can expect her full recovery." Quote:
Was it evil of her to ask CoMC questions during social visits? She thought not. There's never a bad time to teach/learn. Quote:
Quote:
It was normal to see Destiny loitering around whenever Marcus roamed. Evelyn too for that matter. But this... Well it was the very first time she had EVER graced her with her presence. Outside of class at least. With her statement, she eyed the cat and grinned. "I'm not worried," she replied nonchalantly. "There's not a cat on this planet that could catch him." |
Quote:
Not at all. "Right, thank you Professor! Thanks a LOT!" he nodded, still pretending that hug hadn't happened and took the phial from her. Two to three drops - got it. Picking send up gingerly and perching her on his shoulder -where she thankfully stayed and didn't fall- Ty shot a last beaming grin at the Professor before leaving the room to go back to the owlery. He'd use one of the school owls this time. Send will get better soon enough. |
Ellie peeked inside. "Er.. Hello again, Professor Lawson." she said, smiling all innocent- like. No, she didn't do anything bad. She just thought the teacher might think it weird for her to be back.. so soon... |
Quote:
Still, she knew enough to make a somewhat educated guess. "Um, some kinda Snidget reserve or sanctuary?" Professors, they were always trying to teach, weren't they? |
Kate was wondering what staff member she could ask for help. She haven´t meet CoMC´s Professor yet, but this was a good chance to do it before class. She reached the.... hut´s? door and knocked twice "Hello, Is someone in there?" |

"Don't be shy, dear. Come on in." Quote:

Ellie smiled. No weird looks. That was a good thing. "I was wondering if you'd help me with my Arithmancy homework. We need to ask a staff member to find their personality and destiny numbers." she explained, parchment and notes and quill and ink and stuff in her hand. |
Quote:
Almost shaking she added "I...I wanted to read you something about numbers, I don't know if you heard about the Core Numbers, and if you have some minutes to listen..." Kate said, smiling. Then, looking down at the floor "it's for homework..." she added. Why my hands can't stop moving??? |
Eeep! This is sooo late. *ish sorry* Quote:
She blinked a few times as the Professor spoke in some old lady language. Destiny had no idea what the woman was talking about, something about her eyes? Heh. Nodding to whatever was asked, she took a few more steps inside, and smiled. The hut was nice and..cozy-ish. Looking around, she heard Female Lawson ask what was owed and, whaaaat? "You don't owe me anything.." she mumbled turning her attention to the Professor. She blinked a few more times, and realizing what was REALLY meant, shook her head. Hehe, oops. "It's him!" she pointed to the cat under her arm, "He eats grass and shoelaces. Can you fix him?" Because he was obviously broken. Her eyes flickered to the little bird as Professor Female Lawson said no cat could catch him. Good thing, too for Destiny really didn't want her cat to drop birds on her face..like he did with the grass he ate. |
Quote:
"Um, I'm gonna go to the Great Hall now and eat, but it was great to see you again. Maybe next time I'll be here when Ava wakes." She beamed up at the woman. Yes, she wanted to PLAY with the cutie pie. She gave Vincent a few strokes then waited for Lady Lawson to call him off her shoulder. |

As the girl left, Destiny turned her attention back to Sly and the Professor. "Cats are supposed to eat grass? For upset tummies?" Heh. No wonder why he had an upset tummy, he ate GRASS! It seemed the grass eating wasn't that big of a deal, and she made a mental note to tell this to Evelyn, but the shoelaces..she glanced down at her own shoes with no laces in them.. "Only once I think. I haven't seen anyone else walking around without shoelaces." Which reminded her, Marie had an extra set of laces in her trunk! |
catching up and reading Quote:
"Thank you so much Professor! If you could wait a few minutes so I can do the math part...Then I would read to you the meaning of the result." yay! Kate was so excited!! I love Arithmancy! She took out a notebook and a quill and said: "I will calculate your Destiny Number" Tic tac Tic Tac “I’ve just finished!” Kate showed the parchment to Professor Lawson Quote:
Kate took out the Arithmancy book and searched the meaning she was looking for. “Found it! Number two: Your mission in life is to engender harmony. Your purpose is to seek cooperation, find balance, and be a patient team player - all to develop your sense of relationship. You need to learn compassion and to be emotionally receptive. Being adaptable and persuasive will bring you closer toward your destiny. You're destined for peacemaking. Go forth and share it….Wow, you’re kind of a Magic Mahatma Gandhi...He was a peaceful muggle, very loved by people, and also very hated. But we all love you, Professor! What do you think about?” She added…. But suddenly…. “Wait! Your Destiny number turned to be 2 because I have to sum 1+1…That’s 11! And there’s a special mention to that number, see?” Kate showed her Professor what she was talking about: Quote:
Kate looked at Prof. Lawson and waited for her opinion |
Okaay. So she needed to do her history of magic homework. And who better to ask about their history at hogwarts than her favourite teacher in the whole world of teaching. With her cute red and gold clips in her hair, because she'd gotten sick of yellow ones, the blonde wandered down to Professor Lawson's hut, with a big smile on her face. She loved Professor Lawson. When she got there the girl knocked on the door, before waiting for an answer. |

He had wanted to visit professor Lawson - wow it was so strange calling her that - to speak to her about something important but he hadn't had the time previously, especially with everything going on around him. seemed like his life was a whirlwind of stuff and it had finally slowed down enough for him to fully enjoy the company of his once favorite professor. That and he was bored of doing homework and needed a break. Moving his bag to his other shoulder he frowned as he approached the door. Seeing another girl there he grinned, nodding to her as he too knocked on the door, sticking a sugar quill into his mouth. |

At least to her it did. |
Quote:
"I know! But I couldn´t pass out the fact that Prof. Lawson IS married and that interfere with her destiny...I do agree with the birth certificate thing, but I would ask Professor Hadley about it, anyway." Then she turned to Prof. Lawson "What do you think, Professor?" |
I'm RPing this as if no other students are there, if that's okay? Aiden finally made it to the small hut. Over the duration of his first year at Hogwarts, he had actually never been in the hut that belonged to his head of house. Well. Perhaps that was a good thing, seeing as this meeting wouldn't exactly be the greatest. He cleared his throat and knocked on the wooden door, waiting for Professor Lawson to open the door, perhaps with a friendly smile which he would eventually wind up erasing by the end of his visit. |
Sorry, Cedric. I can't kick everyone out now. Quote:

When your name changes, by marriage, even a new nickname, your talents and abilities are enhanced or modified by the new Destiny number. Both numbers will be accurate to you." Goodness she hoped she was making sense. Arithmancy was much easier taught with a blackboard. Allowing the information sink in, the professor excused herself to answer the door. Quote:

It was time to get technical and stuff. Ignoring the fact that this explanation might be gross, Destiny looked up at the Professor, nodding as she talked. Well, it wasn't as gross as it was weird. Why did the cats eat things if they couldn't digest it? "So..basically, they eat grass so they can throw up, right?" she asked, now looking at the cat in her arms. See? Sly was not being bad when he ate grass, he was making himself feeeeel better! She was sooo going to tell Evelyn this. At the mention of shoelaces, she glanced down at her feet then up to the Professor. "Do you have an extra pair of shoelaces?" She was quite tired of walking around without them. |

How had he been? Well that was a loaded question he mused, pondering the truth. "I've been good I guess. Kind of disappointed with the lack of Potions. But that's not your problem." he stated, crossing his arms as he stood there easily. "Actually I came to speak to you about Graziella. The Crup you let me have a few terms back" he said, reminding her of his charge from previous times, getting to the point since it seemed she was rather busy. |

"See, this guy Patrick Dubois.. well, he and I got into a fist fight. We were both pretty beaten up by the time our friend Ella, whom we both were actually fighting over, happened upon us and broke it all up." He linked his fingers together. "After Healer Moretti fixed us up in the hospital wing, Professor Truebridge came and deducted points from our houses and gave his Slytherin students punishments.. I say 'students' in plural because Ella and another Slytherin also were in a fight that I was unaware of." Eh.. So much talking on his part. He wasn't used to it. "In the end, Professor Truebridge deducted ten house points from Gryffindor and Healer Moretti docked five." He figured the punishments and house deductions for Patrick and the girls were irrelevant, so he neglected to mention the specific amounts. "Professor Truebridge then sent me here, to you." Aiden kept his eyes on hers and drew a breath. Gahh. "I understand that I was in the wrong, so if you would give me my further punishment, I'll accept it with no controversy." He slipped his hands in his pockets. Wow. Only now did he realize that he had been standing this whole time. |
Hearing the faint cries from the back room, Iliana excused herself momentarily. When she returned, she was carrying a sleepy-eyed, little Ava on her hip. Quote:
"To answer your question, Yes. Nothing at all is weird about your kitty eating grass." She smiled, watching Ava try to reach out for said kitty. "Though if you see him doing it again, feel free to bring him by my office. I have a tonic that will settle his tummy." She pulled out a neatly wrapped pair of shoelaces from her pocket and held them out to her. "I grabbed these while I was in the back room. I hope they'll work." Quote:
"Right, Graziella. I remember," she replied. "How is she getting along?" Quote:
"Most of my memories are of you lot," she said. "All the things we've learned together. The way your faces light up when you learn something new." She went a bit glassy-eyed, running her fingertips through the curls of Ava's hair. "I think the one that will stick with me forever..." she said softly as if lost in thought. "... was the Dragon lesson. What a truly breathtaking creature." ALL of the Hogwart's students seemed to love the experience. Along with some of the professor's as well. Quote:
After a long, even stare, the professor finally cleared her throat and spoke. "What disturbs me most is this tendency for violence. Points can be earned back... bad choices, on the other hand, can hold a much higher price." Explanation aside, she wanted to know WHY. "Am I correct in assuming that you realize younger students look up to you?" she asked, holding Ava closer as if protecting her from his answer. |
Dylan took a deep breath and knocked on Iliana's door. He hadn't really seen her yet, and he could do with a random talk. |

She carried Ava over to the door and opened it slowly. "Why hello, Dylan!" she said, brightly. "Please come in." |

"You did a lesson with a dragon!" Her eyes widened, before she giggled a little. "Oh I wish I'd been here for that lesson!" Professor Lawson should totally do it again haha. "It's so cute that most of your memories are of us lot...because like it shows that you really care." And she liked that hehe. She was pretty sure that Professor Lawson was the most caring teacher at the school. "So I assume you've made lots off friends here?" She asked, because she was sure of it, she was such a friendly woman. |

"Professor?" she started, as she staaaaaared at this "baby", "Are you SURE that's a baby? Isn't it kinda BIG!?" Destiny knew what a baby was, and that thing that she was holding was NOT a baby. It was a miniature ADULT! She hardly cared for the information about her cat anymore. She was too busy staring at the miniature adult. When she went to grab for the cat, Destiny held him out for the "baby" to touch. Sly..he had to be the laziest cat on the planet, and no matter what this "baby" person would do to him, he wouldn't move..at all. She nodded as the Professor mentioned bringing the cat back, "Don't worry. I just won't let him outside anymore." she told her. Not until the cat learned his lesson. Ohhh! Professor MorganLawson was the BEST! Destiny smiled and graciously took the shoelaces from her, "Thank you, Professor!" she said, then plopping right there on the floor, she opened the laces and started threading them through her shoes. Shoelaces! Finally! |
