Middle Cars Snag a compartment, say hello to friends, it's time to head back to Hogwarts! |
Kevin made his way down to the middle cars as he wanted to meet more of his friends and his compartment in the front was already pretty packed as it was |
Evelyn walked down the aisle of the middle car, looking at all the empty compartments. She had seen the crowd already growing in the front and back trains, and she really wanted peace and quiet with her new....adorable and oh so amazingly cute kitty! Gah! She couldn't quite get over how adorable she was! The cuteness was insane! Smiling as she looked down at the little kitten in her arms, Evelyn finally grabbed one of the empty compartments and shut the door so the kitty didn't have a chance to run out. The Slytherin definitely didn't want to look like an idiot trying to run after a cat. No matter how CUTE it was. *squee!!* Smiling, a shadow however passed by the compartment, making Evelyn break eye contact with her new pet. Pfft. She thought everyone was at the front of the train. Opening the compartment door, and making sure that the kitten didn't run out, Evelyn looked at whoever it was before her mouth dropped and eyes suddenly widened. "Kevin?" |
Itsy, bitsy spider went up the... Okay, yes. Annie was singing that inside her head. She couldn't believe it, though; it had been so many years since the last time she sang it, which was maybe around fourth grade of primary school. Holding Copito in her hands, she looked around the compartments. All the ones in the front were busy, filled...too much people. Eeek, claustrophobic issues she had these days. Finally, a compartment was not that empty anymore, since Copito fell out of her hands and immediately installed himself around the couches. "Comfy, eh?" She asked him, then seated next to him to start petting him. |
Kevin turned around and saw a familiar face pop her head out of one of the compartments and smiled and said "Hey Evelyn yeah it is me" Kevin had not seen Evelyn since before he had left the school for his mission |

Emma found an empty compartment and sat down in it. It had been a long day, saying goodbye to her parents and older brother. Suprisingly, he finally smiled at her and wished her good luck. She waited for her cousin and a couple of her friends to come. |

She didn't remember seeing any other exchange students at Hogwarts though. Then again, she couldn't really remember much of what happened last year anyways. But, whatever. If he wanted to go to Asia, than he could go. |

But back to the memory that she remembered. Best act sweet and innocent. "So, have you talked to Kay lately?" Because that was the last time she had seen him. He was with Kay. What happened between them anyways? |

Well, she didn't feel like bursting his bubble if he didn't know about them yet. She was too busy glancing between him and her kitten, and bursting THAT bubble meant more talking time. "Well, if you see her on the train..." she started, picking up her kitten as the little thing tried to walk out the door, before looking up and staring at Kevin. "Tell her hello from her dearest and bestest friend Evelyn will you? I haven't seen her this summer and would really enjoy it if she came over to this compartment so we can...catch up." |

The gorgeous Kylie walked into the middle cars, looking more stunning than ever. Over the summer she'd grown up a bit and tanned. Her already thin body had matured slightly, her green eyes sparkled, her smile--stunning. Her deep, not necessarily dark, brown hair was straight--though the ends curled perfectly as if been touched by a curler. Of course, they hadn't. She was very into the whole "natural beauty" thing. She smiled as she saw Evelyn, "Hey Evelyn." She waved slightly as she walked up to her. "I got you something over the summer." In addition to her unfair attractiveness, she also had quite a hand at magic. Her grandma had made her practice endlessly as a young child, and now she was well beyond her classmates abilities. She waved her wand, practicing her nonverbal spells, and in her other hand appeared a snow globe from France. She did it again, and another snow globe from Spain appeared. Again, a snow globe from Italy. And, once more, a snow globe from America. She then took an old rag out of her pocket and transformed it into a bag. Effortlessly the snow globes moved themselves into the bag, and sat there. She picked up the bag and handed it to Evelyn. "How was your summer?" She asked, with a slight smile on her face. People often forgot what she could do, especially after she'd been so to-herself last year. |

However, her train of thought was interrupted again when she heard her name being called. Eh. Who in the world decided to interrupt her most serious discussion with herself about naming her cat? Frowning, she stared at her little white blue eyed kitty, before her own light hazel eyes looked up to whoever was standing in the doorway of her compartment. That was definitely not Marie or Destiny. OR Josh. "Kylie?" she barely got out before the girl started to speak again. This was Kylie right? Evelyn had barely seen her last year, but this girl...definitely looked different then the Hufflepuff she 'befriended' in her first year, but she looked the same as well. Ugh, of course the girl had to outdo Evelyn's tan by a million. The Slytherin was really happy about the little color she got over the summer. Now she was just jealous. Just sitting on the seat, in shock from actually seeing Kylie, and the magic she just performed, Evelyn instinctively took the bag from the girl and placed it down on the seat next to herself without muttering a word or breaking her gaze from the girl. Wait, she was asked a question. "My summer..." she muttered, barely moving her lips to speak. Clearing her throat, the Slytherin confusedly glanced around the compartment for a moment before looking back to the Hufflepuff with a rather big smile. "KYLIE! You're here!" Noooow the realization settled in. |

"Of course I'm here! Where else would I be? Atlantis?" Although that was totally arrangeable... "OHHH MYYYYY GAAA--" She was cut off by various squeaking noises expressing her excitement at the little baby kitty. All animals ADORED Kylie. All of them. And she loved them with just as much fervor. "What's it's name?!" She was sooo itching to pet it. Or feed it. Or something. It was ADORABLE!. |

Although, all thoughts of hugging disappeared when that loud sound echoed in the compartment. Normally, Evelyn would have been yelling and glaring because the person just made her deaf, but this was...Kylie!! And she spotted the most cutest kitten in the world. HER kitten! Mwhaha! "I haven't named her yet." she said, watching the little kitten roll around on the seat Kylie was sitting on. Turning back to stare at Kylie, Evelyn sat there for a moment, not really knowing what to do or say. She hadn't seen her friend in forever! If, she was her friend that is. They were friends? Well, they must be if she was taking the time to actually be civil and talk nicely to the girl. The...much more tanner girl. Pfft. "Umm, so. How was your summer? And year...last...year..." |

As she reholstered her wand, Kylie's gaze crossed the ADORABLE kitty again. "She's beautiful.." The scenes of her summer flashed across her mind. "My brother, Jake, and I flew around Europe together this summer. He's sixteen and it was both magical in the literal sense as well as muggle-tastic. Hence all the snow globes." Her eyes sparkled a bit, she was proud those hadn't broken and needed magical repair yet. She thought back to what had happened to Evelyn and Destiny last year. The blood she'd seen on many of the students robes... "You okay, by the way? I mean... last year.." She looked down nervously at the cute kitten. "Can I?" Obviously wanting to pick her up. |
Victoria had managed to drag her trunk herself to the middle compartments. She had found the first ones to be far too crowded, and didn't feel much like embaressing herself any with struggling to carry the trunk much further. So the first year slipped into an empty compartment, stowed it in the luggage rack, and sat. Her ice blue eyes fixed themselves lazily on the window, watching the outside. It was far more interesting than anything else that was happening. Though before even a few seconds had passed, the girl was starting to feel slightly isolated. From her compartment, she could hardly see anyone else. It kept her from observing others from afar, and she generally had to have at least someone to speak to when she wasn't people-watching. So the dark haired girl stood again and exited, leaving her trunk right where it was. Walking back a few compartments, she found two girls and a kitten. The girls looked to be in about their third year, one Slytherin and one Hufflepuff. And the kitten...well, she had to admit, it was cute. Victoria rapped lightly on the door of the other girls' compartment and slid it open, mustering the best smile she could. If she wanted some company, she'd have to be nice a while. "Hello, do you mind if I sit here?" she asked them. Mentally, she was cursing the fact it was her first year, she knew no one, and she'd stooped to the point of talking to random strangers to avoid feeling isolated. But she did her best to keep these thoughts from showing themselves on her face as she waited for an answer from one of the two girls. |

Looking back down to her kitten, Evelyn listened to Kylie's story of her summer, smiling as her kitten froze and looked up at the unfamiliar person in the compartment. "Hmm, muggles." That word, was disgusting. And that part of Evelyn's summer, was horrible! Her thoughts of the first week of vacation slowly disappeared however to her dreams she'd been having over the summer. Small pieces of events from what happened last year kept entering her mind as her gaze went back over to stare at Kylie. There was definitely no smile on her face now. "What about last year?" she mumbled, obviously not wanting to talk about it. Making herself more comfortable on the seat, unaware that she had pulled her jacket tighter around herself so it would hide the scar beside her neck that was almost gone, a smile did finally reappear on her face as she nodded and gestured to her kitten. "Of course. She's very friendly." Well at least to girls. She didn't know about how she reacted to guys as of yet. Quote:
WHO...in the world was THIS?! Staring at the new, and YOUNG girl that was oh so obviously starting her first year at Hogwarts, Evelyn blinked a few times and cleared her throat, quickly glancing at Kylie. Eh. "Sure. I guess." she said politely with a small smile before scooting down the seat so there was room for the new person. "What's your name?" So she could remember it. |
Esilna walked to the middle cars and found an empty compartment to sit in. She did not want anyone to know what pet she had brought with her, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy. People were allowed to bring Crups, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with bringing a more normal dog. But just in case... |
