Sammy dropped all her stuff and looked at Emmy in shock "you haven't heard of Honeydukes? or Hogsmede?" she said collecting all of the stuff she dropped off the floor "it's where the train arrived , and now the students are allowed to go there , there are all sorts of things there" she said excitedly

Emmy got down on her knees to help Sammy pick up her stuff. "Oh, that funny little village you mean? Now I get you - I think... You'll have to excuse me if I make mistakes and stuff like that - my parents are both (ohh, whaddya call 'em, um, non-magical) oh that's it - Muggles!" Ooh, those did look gooooood... "I don't s'pose... you might be able to... I dunno, maybe... um... spare a sweet? P'raps?" Puhh-leeeeeaaaase let her say yes!...

"I'm muggle-born too" sammy said simply "sure , do you want a ..." she looked into the packet of bertie botts every flavour beans "... jelly bean? or a peppermint humbug?" she asked holding the gum and sugar quills close to her chest 'these ones are mine' she thought protectivly

"Oh, could I pinch a jelly bean please? Thanks!" Reaching out her hand, she accepted the sweet and popped it into her mouth." Mmm! Lovely! I think it's peanut butter... So, what do your parents do?" she asked, trying to speak coherently through a mouthful of sweet.

OOC: That's fine! I really should go now myself - it's coming up for half eleven at night here! *yawns* and I still haven't finished the dishes...

"my parents... they run a muggle petshop. What do your parents do?" Sammy asked stuffing a peppermint humbug in her mouth

"Cool! Well, my mum's what they call a diva - professional opera singer, and my dad... Well, he's just a bank manager actually. I was home-educated til I came here, so my dad taught me maths, my mum's training me to sing properly, and the rest I got from books! What did you do before you got your letter? Did you go to a muggle school?" Emmy took a deep breath, and swallowed the remnants of her jelly bean.

" thats pretty cool if my mum tried to sing I think the windows would break....no i grew up on a farm, i was home schooled too , but my friend ,Shae Romani , who lived ages away from our place, she came and got schooled with me and my brother and sisters" Sammy said eating some more jelly beans "and the really awesome thing is she got accepted here too , but I haven't seen her in ages" she said joyfully wondering what house shae did get in it had been that long since she had seen her

"A farm? Wow, that must have been fantastic! I love animals... I was brought up in a boring little town, so anything's gotta be more interesting than that!" Emmy stretched,and considered going to bed, "I hope you find your friend... Shae? By the way, where's Moggy? I just realised, I haven't seen him for a while - and incidentally, is Moggy a boy or a girl?"

"Yeah. It was kind of shocking. The school term just started. Well, personally I think she's strict but she's one effective teacher." Sophia said. "How about you?"

"yeah its all pretty fun ... until you have to clean up the dog poop around the house" sammy said gathering her things and stuffing them back in her bag no more sugar tonight she thought "Moggy is probably upstairs already hogging my bed, and she is a girl" she said

Cadence crinkled her nose and pulled a bit of a face when he mentioned going on a summer trip to Italy. "I wish," she said in a serious pout. "I don't get much time off of training in the summer." Cadence curled her legs under her in her chair and gave her hair a little flip. When she noticed his smile, she smiled back at him sweetly and watched him in interest while his brain seemed to go somewhere far away from her. There was a pained look in his eyes, and Cadi suddenly had the urge to hug him, she leaned forward slightly and then sat back, hoping he hadn't noticed her movement.

Then they went back to talking about traveling, and he was blushing slightly, which kind of... confused her, but nevertheless she smiled brightly and answered his question. "Oh yes! I've been lots of places! My parents used to work for a peace-keeping organization that traveled to less-developed wizarding communities and helped negotiate peace between Muggles and wizards in those areas. When I was little, we traveled a lot," she explained, nodding her head and thinking about how even though she had been so many places, she had seen so little.

I know right, scary, but I learnt with her, which is more than I can say about the History of Magic teacher, the lesson was fun but I didn't learn anything, Amy rolled her eyes as she thought back to the lesson, but charms and Defence against the dark arts was fun Amy mused, smiling to herself, whats your favourite lesson so far?

"Hey.....Sammy!" Nymphy said. "Whats up?" he asked. "Good day?"

Emmy grimaced sympathetically, and said "Hmm... I can see that would be a slight downside...!" Yawning, "Speaking of bed - I think that's where I should be! I'm absolutely shattered, and we've got lessons in the morning!" Heaving herself up, she slung her bag over her shoulder, and walked towards the girls' dorm. Turning, she called across to Sammy, "I'll see you in the morning! Night!"

Sophia was nodding while Amy is talking. "Yeah. They were fun. My favorite subjects are Transfiguration, Charms, and DADA." Sophia answered. "I really like practical lessons that's why."

Sammy turned around in her seat and saw some one she had worked with in charms "Hi, not much really" she said "how are you?" she asked politley


"alright then , cya in the morning" she said waving at Emmy stuffing just a couple more jelly beans in her mouth damn it I wasn't gonna have anymore tonight she thought stuffing some more in her mouth

"I'm good. Did you get the charms homework? I missed it" he asked. Truthfully, he had rushed out to get to Muggle Studies.

Apollo grinned with that comment. "Well, you never know. Maybe if we are amazingly good friends, I can take you with me over the summer. I go and stay with my Aunt and Uncle for about 2 weeks every summer after school is out." He noticed her sudden lean, but decided he would pretend he didn't. She had a concerned look on her face, which made him slightly more pink. He wasn't ready to divulge any information about why he was here, especially to someone he just met.

Wow. Her parents job sounded amazing! His father just worked for the Minstry of Magic, and was on the Wizengamot, while his mother was a stay at home mom, though she wanted to own her own resturant. She was an amazing cook, and actually went to a Muggle culinary school when she was younger. "Wow, where all have you been? I've only been to Italy, France, Germany, and here. France and Germany was for family holiday's." He smiled.

Oh yeah, I forgot transfiguaration, I mean all of it is just soo cool really Amy smiled happily, then reached into her bag, chocolate frog? she asked before biting into her own choccie frog

Sammy turned at the word homework "wait , what , we have charms homework?" she asked stupidly , she hated homework so very much.

Cadence smiled, and now it was her turn to blush slightly as she looked into his eyes. "I'd like that," she quietly replied, playing with the ends of her hair a bit nervously. Imagine, Cadence running around Italy with this cute guy from school. Sounded like something out of one of those Muggle movies. Though, she had to wholeheartedly admit, it would definitely be nice to get away from Jude and everything related to him for awhile. Actually, if she had had it her way, she would have left for Italy right then.

When he asked her where she had been, Cadence had to think pretty hard for a few moments. "Well, I'm not really sure," she began with a small giggle. "A lot of times, I wasn't allowed to know where we were. My parents were very protective of me. But I know I've been to some places in Africa and South America mostly. Maybe a bit of time in like the Middle East," she said with a small shrug. The truth was, no one had really ever been allowed to tell Cadence exactly where they were when they were traveling. How that protected her, she had never really been sure.

"I think so, but she may not have announced it yet......" he said, thinking. "If i go by the Charms announcment board later and its up, I'll let you know. " he said, smiling. "So.....how's your year going?" he asked.

"kay, thanks" Sammy said smiling "alright... i think" she added remembering the Amy/Jay incedent she hadn't known about till it was to late. "how's your year?" she asked

"Thanks!" Sophia said, getting a chocolate frog. "Hmmm.Do you have a runeset?"

Torin always had a feeling when he knew that his sister was talking about him. Maybe it was a twin sense, he wasn't sure. But he knew that she was talking about him, and she needed to stop her because only he was allowed to talk about her.

He headed right up to her and Rhea. "Hello, ladies."
