Simon smiled as he looked at Amy. "Well I've been to most of the classes and have been doing the homework too." Simon smiled as he hoped that Amy wasn't mad with him.

"Which Dylan?" she asked. "Because I know of two Dylan's that go here and one is Dillon Greenwood I believe it is and I don't know him well, and then theres Dylan Denver who scares me. And I don't want to go with any other Dylan thats a complete stranger." she replied through her little sobs.

Amy looked past the smile and cocked her head to one side, she looked at him, how he was holding herself, how he was speaking, something wasn't right, something wrong? she asked quietly

Simon looked at Amy. "I'm scared I might have upset you." He hoped he hadn't been he was worried that he had.

Amy smiled well you havn't, so cheer up she said, giving him a hug, why did you think you'd upset me? she asked confused, what had she done?

"Denver," Jake replied. He also knew of the Greenwood boy but he'd spoken to him like once. "Llllike I said... he's nuhh-nice. He'd gggo with you..."

This was getting really REALLY painful to witness.

"Ppplease stop crying," he asked, pretty close to begging now.

"I don't know why." Simon said suddenly. "I just had this feeling that I had, for some reason." Maybe it was because he hadn't seen her since he had yelled at her at the lake. "I was just scared I had." He quickly hugged her back.

"But he scares me!" she replied, shuddering at the thought of that kid.

"Fine I'll stop." she said she started to calm down a bit and she wiped her tears away. She lifted her head up. And oh great and her cheeks were all rosy still. She pouted. "But why don't you want to go to the dance with me?" Eh, simple question right?

Silly noggin, Amy smiled I can't be angry at you, I don't know why, but I just can't she said, wondering why she always felt happy around Simon, even when it desended into a screaming match, which it so often did

Simon smiled he was glad. "So what do you want to do now?" He said as he started to relax a bit. "Oh and what do you think of Hogwarts so far?"

"He's. Nice," Jake replied firmly, not wanting to hear anything against Dylan.

Anyway... yeah.

At the question, Jake sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I've already asked sssomeone. I'll... I'll introddduce you ttto her," he informed Violet, even though the girl wasn't like easily accessible right now. "Soon... yeah?"

Violet wasn't even going to start to rant about Dylan so she just didn't reply to this.

She rolled her eyes. "Well whoever she is I'm much prettier." she replied. Jealous much? Yeahhh >.<

Amy was about to speak when she caught sight of the time, um I have to go meet someone sorry, she said, gathering up her stuff and giving him one last hug before jogging down the stairs

Violet was wrong. But Jake wasn't about to say that. He'd learnt tact in the years.

"Bbbut you don't knnnow who it is... hhhow would you know that?" And then, with a fond little smile, Jake thought about the girl he'd asked. "You wwwouldn't want to pppick a fight with her y'know."

Hmmm... Jake would need to speak to Dylan about this.

Hmmf.


"Because, I'm prettier than anyone, right?" she asked. She looked at him expecting him to say 'of course'. Heh.
"Jake, Jake, Jake I wouldn't pick a fight now would I? No." Pause. "You know maybe I would just tell her to back off and get a life." she said quickly and giving a cute smile.

Fia needed some books to study. If she was going to be alone, she had to do it in style, at least some what in style. Her hair was pinned to the top of her head as if she woke up and did nothing more, while her face was pale with rosy cheeks...no makeup. She wore her school uniform but with it came the tacky pair of sneakers, the old ones that she 'said' she threw away but didn't have the heart to really do it. They sat in the bottom of her trunk, a place where no one but herself was allowed.

She turned to look at the other students, not paying attention to what or whom was in front of her until she stepped on someone's feet...someone carrying a lot of books.

Miles struggled to keep the books in his arms, feeling them weight him down. He wished he hadn't blown up at Fia that way then he'd be able to study with her. He sighed as he made his way down the corridor carefully. He wanted Fia not a clone or copy that his Aunt thinks she should be or anything else...he couldn't understand why she didn't see that.

Feeling someone or something land on his feet it startled him and made him jump back. The weight of the books caused him to go off balance and he fell backwards causing the books to fall on him, next to him...a bit of everywhere really. "OWWWWWWWWWWWWwww!!!" Why didn't people watch where they were going! It's not like he could. Growling in anger he bent down and stacked up his books again. "Nice watching where you're going," he said to himself figuring they just left after realizing it was a Prefect. Stacking the last book he looked up to see Fia..."Fi!" he said surprised.

And she heard the OUCH and the growl. He had her at OUCH! Fia didn't need to go any further to find out who she ran into, she knew that voice from anywhere. And his comment was rather touching and nasty. She smiled, reaching down to help him stack books. "Sorry. I-I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She stood up, putting her hands behind her and began twirling her fingers together.

He stood up, wincing slightly as he felt a few places that were going to be bruised thanks to the books. "No it's okay...shouldn't have been carrying so many books," he said with a chuckle. He hadn't spoken to Fia since the argument. And now stood in front of her not sure of where they stood anymore. "So...how's the kitten?" he asked curiously trying to pick a neutral topic.

Fia smiled, catching a glimpse of Miles before looking down again. "She is fine," she spoke as she leaned down as if to pick up another book but didn't. "She sleeps next to me at night." This was just odd! She didn't know what to say and for once, she didn't know how to act THIS SUCKED!

Miles nodded and gave a smirk as she said the kitten slept next to her. It was cute and he knew she would she was a sweetheart of a kitten when he bought her. "Fi..." he didn't know what to say exactly. "I'm sorry for how I acted." He wasn't sorry for what he said though cause he really felt that way.

Fia smiled once again by just pressing her lips together. She knew he meant what he said as it was only for the way he acted, meaning not for what he had said. Too many people were trying to change her and she felt as though she was being pulled in many directions. "I'm sorry as well," she spoke softly not really knowing what to say next. She was at a loss for words, feeling slightly uncomfortable, something she'd never felt before around Miles.

He sat down on the massive pile of books and watched her for a moment. "Fi...I know you're feeling like too many people want something..." and he really didn't want to be one more but he needed her to understand without starting another fight. "I never asked you to change," that was an important part for her to remember. "I don't mind the close," his eyes trailed down her outfit now and he raised an eyebrow as they fell on her shoes. "Are those?" He laughed hard, falling off the stack of books again. "You kept those...I thought they were gone," maybe there was hope yet that his Fi was still there and not the Brodyized version.

Hmm. This seemed like a good place. Katie had pretty much walked the entire fourth floor and had yet to see any notices about their upcoming Alumni ball. As she neared the school's library the Hufflepuff took a Gryffindor themed invitation from the top of the mini stack she carried, tucking the others under her arm while she reached for her wand to preform a sticking charm and angled the paper just right in the perfect empty spot between two portraits:

Stepping back to get a better look and make sure it wasn't crooked, Katie smiled and gave herself an approving nod before heading for the nearest staircase that would take her back toward the ground floor.

Giving Violet a small grin, Jake chuckled slightly. And at the last thing she said he quirked an eyebrow. "I'd lllike to ssssee that," he commented and looked down at his watch.

"I have to ggggo. Need to ch-check on my owl and then go tttto the Mmmmagical Creatures thhhingy."

Jogging off down the corridor, Jake gave Violet a little wave before disappearing from view.
