Cody rubbed Savannah's back comfortingly. Ella? Alright, so he knew who that was. But Aiden? Why did it matter if she kissed Aiden? And who was Aiden? Wait! That was the guy Trixie told him about. Crap. And now he'd hurt Savannah. And wasn't Ella's boyfriend that Patrick guy who hurt Trixie? He had no sympathy for him. "Hey, sh, it's alright Sav. It's not the end of the world. C'mon, if he doesn't like you, it's his loss. Just show him what he's missing."

Savannah stopped her crying for a moment to look up at Cody, was he actually being nice to her ? Was there someone in this school who didn't HATE her ?!? Well, Aiden said he didn't hate her but Savannah thought that was a lie. He would be with her if he didn't hate her, DUH!"He was my entire reason for coming here though, just so I could win him back and he doesn't understand it. He won't even give me a chance..."She said, looking up at Cody. She smiled at him, he did have a very good point."I guess you are right, cody."Savannah said, laying her head back on his shoulder. It felt nice to have somebody there who wouldn't pull away from her.

Her entire reason for coming here was a guy? Well, that wasn't something he would do. Or...was it? Hadn't he come just to be with Dee? And now that she was gone, he wasn't looking forward to being here? Well, that and Torin was leaving soon as well? That didn't matter though. He had no room to judge.

"Like I said. It's his loss. I know I don't know you exceptionally well, but from what I do, your a great girl. Anyone would be lucky to have you." Smirking slightly, he tried to lighten the mood with his ego. "'Course I am, I'm Cody James Russell." He was a little surprised when she laid her head back down on her shoulder, but made no comment on it.

Something POSITIVE to say about Savannah ? Well, this was new at this school. Not only was it new but it was also good to not be called a toad or whatever else they called her. She nodded her head as she heard Cody speak,"I know I am. I just don't see why HE doesn't like me. I mean, I've thrown myself out for him, I even told him I would do anything to have him back and I NEVER beg."She said, looking up at Cody with her head still laying on his shoulder. So....comfy....."And he likes Ella? That girls awful, cody. I'm prettier than she is and I'm a hell of a lot nicer thanf she is."she rambled. For the first time today, Savannah smiled. Cody was such a nice guy.

Cody just shook his head, not wanting to shrug, therefore disturbing her. "A lot of guys are just stupid. Not seeing what they have in front of them." No reference to Jay and what he did to Liss at ALL. Snort. "Don't judge the whole male race by those guys though." And even though he knew he should've been more of a comfort about Ella, he couldn't diss her. Despite what Sav was saying, he genuinely liked Ella and didn't think this could all be her fault.

It sounded more like Aiden's for allowing it to happen.

Savannah snorted,"I know that. I just...don't understand him. He was so mean to me, all I would do was lay my head on his shoulder and he would freak out on me and tell me "I COULDN'T DO THAT ! because he liked Ella and ..urgh..."she stopped for a moment to groan. None of this made sense at all, absolutely none of it."Cody, I honestly think you are the smartest boy I have ever met...."she said, shaking her head. It was the truth.

Cody looked down at her, raising an eyebrow. "Then why do you keep going back?" Didn't make sense to him. When Aria treated him like dirt. He left. Finally giving a small shrug Cody sighed slightly, "Others would argue that to the death."

Savannah sighed, that was an answer she didn't know."I don't know, cody. I just feel like he is the guy I am supposed to be with."She looked up at Cody with an innocent look on her face, she was confused, majorly confused."I guess it's because I love him, or maybe the fact that there are no other boys at this school that want me ? I don't know. I just need attention and love, which I have none of right now."she rambled with a heavy sigh.

Cody examined her for a while. Sure, Savannah was cute. And yes, the way she was looking so hard for love was both endearing and adorable. But did he really want to get into that now? Ah hell, what did it matter? He was leaving next term anyways. "Well, you could do better. Maybe there's a guy who does like you at this school. Hell, maybe he's in this hallway."

Savannah laughed as she heard him speak, he was doing just what he wanted her to do. Did she like Cody ? As a friend but not a boyfriend. She was lonely though, really really really lonely. Getting rejected by Aiden wasn't helping either. It was kind of bruising her ego which really wasn't good.She had nothing to lose if her and Cody did end up together, hell, it might even make Aiden jealous. Score for that ! So, Savannah snuggled closer to Cody and laid a tiny kiss on his cheek."I hope he is in this hallway."She said ,in a soft voice.

Apparently point was taken, considering Savannah snuggled closer to him. What was he doing? Was this the rebound? It hadn't been long since Dee. Maybe he was rebounding. But then again, so was Savannah right? Didn't that make it okay? "I dunno, let's see who the choices are."

Savannah looked around the hallway, it was only them."Well...I think dating the wall would be a bit awkward...and there is only one boy here..."she said, looking at him with a smirk. Aha, the old Savannah was returning. She felt bad but she needed to hear what Cody would tell her, she needed that confidence boost from someone and if it wasn't Aiden, so be it ! She needed attention from somebody."So, are you going to sit there and be quiet or are you actually going to ask me out ?"she asked.

Forget thinkin'. Might as well just act on this stupid whim of his. Besides, Sav wasn't complaining. And he WAS leaving next term. "Hm, well, I guess your options don't come from the hallway." Enter wink here. Raising an eyebrow at her forwardness, Cody chuckled. "Well, if you insist. Miss Conrad, would you do the honor of perhaps attending Hogsmeade with me?"

"I would love to."Savannah said, with a tiny smile. Her self confidence was boosted already. She didn't feel like sobbing her eyes out for the first time she got to this school. She actually felt...happy ? Eh..guess that's the word to put it. Savannah hoped Aiden would be jealous. Was she sure ? Of course not. He probably wouldn't care he loves Ella too much. Eh..she hated that stupid girl.

Cody smiled slightly. Was he happy? Sort of. Was he nervous? Hell yes. Was he scared? Yep. But only for his face. For some reason, he saw a certain someone reacting badly. Oh well, he'd have to explain. "Well good. I can't wait." And then sighing slightly, he ran a hand through his hair. "I hope it doesn't seem I'm taking advantage of you. After just bawling your eyes out."

Savannah picked her head off his shoulder and smiled at him,"Me too. I don't really care where we go, I don't really like Hogsmeade anyway..."She said with a shrug of her shoulders. It just wasn't here style, but if she could flaunt Cody around she would gladly go there. She couldn't wait to see the look on Ella's face ! She also couldn't wait to tell Nekoda, who was not only Sav's best friend but also Cody's cousin."Ohh...no."she said, shaking her head. "I like you, Cody. You are a nice boy, I need to start being with nice boys, not mean ones that break my heart open."she said with a tiny smile. Hey, it was the truth.

Cody tilted his head, "Alright. How about a picnic by the lake then?" Wouldn't hurt right? Besides, if she didn't like Hogsmeade...And maybe, if they did it on the Hogsmeade weekend, less chance of meeting people. Right? Good. She didn't think he was just using her, yet he couldn't shake the feeling he was. Forcing a smile, Cody nodded, "Good. I don't want to hurt you." Urgh, why did it feel like he was following a script?

Savannah nodded her head, that sounded nice and romantic.Sounds awesome ! I can't wait.she said, looking up at the ceiling. Ah...this felt nice having a boy to talk to. Sure, he wasn't Aiden but Cody was still a boy (obviously). A cute boy at that. He was the second best thing and if she couldn't get the best she could live with this."Eh, I don't think you will. Have you even met Aiden before ?"she asked, one brow raised. She had neve heard Cody mention Aiden before. Eh, they would met soon enough, Savannah was sure of it.

Cody smiled slightly, nodding. "Good, it's a date then." Damn. It was a date. And then, she was asking if he'd met Aiden? Cody had to bite back the smile forming, shaking his head slightly as he remembered his previous conversation with Trixie. No, but he sounded like an alright guy. Besides the hurting Savannah bit obviously. "No, not yet." Though he was sure hanging out with Khloe would change that.

A smile broke out on Savannah's face, a big huge smile. A date, he said it was a date. She was going on a date ! Finally, someone at the school had some sense and could see someone totally amazing in front of them. She leaned her head back against his shoulder, she was sure her curly hair was hitting him in the face. She looked up at him for a moment,"You okay, Cody?"she asked. His voice didn't seem very steady and this worried her. She nodded as he spoke,"Aiden's nice to everyone but me and Ella's boyfriend."

Was he okay? Cody ran a hand through his hair, nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine." Before smiling. No sense in worrying her, when there was nothing to worry over. At the mention of Ella's boyfriend, Cody hardened slightly. "I can't think I'd be too fond of him either." Obviously for different reasons. Cody did NOT have a crush on Ella. That was for sure, though he did like her as a person.

She watched as Cody nodded his head, perhaps he was feeling alright ? eh..whatever. Did he know he was pretty much being used ? Savannah hoped not. She did like Cody, but not like that. Savannah raised an eyebrow as she heard Cody speak,"Why wouldn't you be too fond of him ?"she said, her voice a bit comanding. This worried her a little bit, she didn't want to be jealous. She already was jealous of Ella enough as it was.

Raising an eyebrow, Cody looked towards Savannah. Did she actually sound...jealous? Was he wrong about being used then? Maybe not. Maybe yes. Who knew. It didn't matter to worry about it now. "Heard what he did to Trixie." That was basically it. Sort of. Overall, he hadn't heard good things about Patrick.

"Oh..."Sav said. It made sense, certainly. She of course thought that Cody might actually like Ella for a moment, psh..he was too smart for that, right ? Of course she was right. She always was right."I'm sorry, I'm just super paranoid about Ella right now. She hasn't made Hogwarts life that easy for me."Savannah took a pause to sigh."Where is Nekoda when you need her ?"she said, chuckling slightly. She couldn't wait for the day Nekoda came to this school, she couldn't wait one bit. She missed her best friend a hell of a lot. Savannah raised an eyebrow as she thought for a moment,"So..are we officially together now ?"

Cody shrugged, "It's okay, I mean, I like Ella. She hasn't given me a particular reason not to. But I can see why you of all people would have the right to feel paranoid around her." And then she was mentioning Nekoda, and he stiffened slightly. Gosh. He hated her. "No offense, but I'm glad my cousin won't be here until AFTER I've left. Nekoda and I don't get along well. Actually, I don't get along with anyone from that side. Georgie? Georgie I miss though." Because Georgiana was cooler. Though, Nekoda would argue that. Officially together? Fine. Time to listen to Torin. "Listen, Savannah, your cute, that's for sure. But are you really ready for a relationship? I mean I don't mind, but I need to explain first that I'm still a little hung up over my ex. And it's not fair to you." No need to mention he was sure she was hung up on HER ex as well.
