Quickly writing down all the ingrediants, Kay looked it over. She didn't want to miss anything. She wanted her hair back. SOON!



She got up taking her journal with her and walked to the supply cupboard. Looking at her list Kay picked out the things that she would be needing. Walking back over to her work table. She put the ingrediants out left to right and in the order she would need them.

Finally! The ingredients!

Treyen, first, wrote the ingredients in his parchment.

Er, wait, pumpkin juice? Perhaps that was needed...since they were going to drink it?

The little Lockhart rushed to the closet, yes, he rushed, because he was eager to start. He wanted NO baldness. And returned three times to his desk, with every single ingredient at hand.

Now...what? He stared at the Professor for further instructions.

Hecate walked around and looked at peoples notes.

"Either you all have copied from each other and NOT the board, or you all think Flobberworm mucus, which is what the Flobberworm excretes, is the same as Flobberworm juice, which is made by squeezing a dead Flobberworm." She said glaring.

She passed the students and nodded to them.

This one needed lessons in spelling... Merlin didn't these kids have an elementary school education?

"Shhhhh... get your ingredients in silence." She said looking at the kids. "Right then. Make sure you clean your cauldron first. Then you should add the pumpkin juice in it and turn on the fire." She said and watched them. "Bringing it to a low simmer."

Keeley was normally very reluctant to light a fire to her cauldron, and usually had someone help her. Because... ya know.... she was a very burnable person. But today, the Ravenclaw just wanted her hair back. She poured her pumpkin juice (Yummm) into her squeeky clean cauldron, and carefully lit the fire to a bit of a simmer. Hopefully this had been done right.

Hermione did as the professor instructed. Putting her ingredients on the counter she began to clean out her cauldron. Once it looked good enough to put ingredients into she added the pumpkin juice and turned on the fire to a low setting to bring the pumpkin juice to a simmer. She waited to get further instructions from the professor.

The hair is on its way back to his head! Yes! He was excited now...and a bit nervous, because what if the potion he made didn't turn out right?

It wouldn't. It'll be okay.

Treyen resisted the urge to whistle while he cleaned his cauldron, because let's face it, this Professor didn't look like she liked whistling kids, so, he cleaned it in silence, and made sure it was really, really, REALLY CLEAN. No need to mess up THIS particular potion.

It the ingredients weren't measured, then he'd drink a bit of pumpkin juice, but HE DIDN'T. He poured the gallon into the cauldron and set the fire, quite carefully, no need to lose his eyebrows too! And...low simmer....yes...done-ish.

He'd never tasted hot pumpkin juice...what would it taste like?

Whoops. Carter quickly made the correction to his notes.

4 oz Flobberworm juice mucus
8 drops of Lavender essence
1 cup Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica)
5 Mandrake leaves (adult plant)
6 spoons Honey
12 Fluxweed leaves
1 sprig of Peppermint
1 drop of Re'em blood
3 Knotgrass blossoms
3 Rat tails
10 drops of Saw Palmetto extract
2 oz Zinc

- put pumpkin juice in cauldron
- start fire and bring to low simmer

His cauldron was already clean, but he checked again anyway. He didn't want to get yelled at again for not paying attention. He then did as the Professor instructed and added the pumpkin juice to his cauldron and started the fire. Now, he needed to wait for it to simmer. A low simmer.

Hmm... nope. No way to twist this... Damn.

Ellie 'evanesco'ed the nothingness out of the cauldron, to be safe. She had to get this right.

Then she poured in the pumpkin juice. Seemed a shame to waste pumpkin juice... Well, she's not wasting it now, but if the meany head potions lady hadn't gone mad and made them all bald, it would be quite a waste. She 'incendio'ed a low flame, as well.

Sniiiiiiiiiiiiiffffffffffffffffffffff. Smells yummy.....

Okaii.

Cauldron cleanliness, Gold was excellent at that. She had, after all, been doing it for six years, now. Every time she brewed a potion. She filled her cauldron with water, giving it a good rinse, scrubbing off any residue with a cure-all and, finally, drying it until it shone.

Then she added in exactly one gallon of pumpkin juice and, lighting a fire underneath her cauldron -with the help of a quick "Incendio!" - brought it to a low simmer, as instructed.

There, there.

Happy that the Professor thought she was doing well, Kay wrote in her journal. She cleaned her work space and checked her cauldron. She wanted to make sure that it was in good shape.



Pouring in her pumpkin juice, she lite the fire under her cauldron. Now she would watch to make sure that it didn't boil. just a slow simmer.

Willow swiftly got up from her seat and gathered all of her ingredients for the potion. As she was gathering everything she needed, she couldn't help but think of all the advantages of being bald and void of her purple hair..."I would be cool in the summer and I wouldn't have to try and maintain it everyday, that would save me significant time." Willow realized she started to daydream. She shook her head of her thoughts, cleaned out her cauldron, poured the pumpkin juice in, started the fire under the cauldron and waited for it to start simmering. After she finished this she went back to her thoughts of the positives of baldness...

Sidney can't help but smile. She got one of the ingredients right. It makes all the work she did on her Herbology Homework worth while. Sidney watches while to ingredients appear on the blackboard.



She takes out her cauldron and places it on the stand. Sidney then checks her potion making kit. Good thing she replenished her supply of ingredients before the term started. Sidney also looks down in the bottom of her bag and pulls out a yellow bandana and wraps it around her head. It's getting cold down in the damp and drafty dungeon. She then goes through her kit and pulls out the ingredients she needs: Flobber Worm Pus, Essense of Lavender, adult Mandrake Leaves, Re'em Blood, and Rat Tails. She places them next to her cauldron. Sidney then gets up and walks over to the supply table and picks up a tray. She walks over to the potions stores and finds the other ingredients she needs: Gotu Kola, Honey, Saw Palmetto Extract, and Zinc. Sidney takes the tray to her work station. She then goes back to the work table and finds a galleon measuring cup. Sidney takes it into the potion stores and pours a galleon of pumkin juice into it. She takes it to her work station and then collects the knotgrass blooms and fluxweed leaves from the plants. Now that she has all her ingredients collected, Sidney writes down the ingredients list in her journal and waits for Professor Lefay to give them the directions to brew the potion. Sidney must say the professor seems to be in a good mood for her at least.

Kylie did exactly as the Professor said, heading exactly to the directions given. After receiving her ingredients, she cleaned the cauldron, double-checked the cauldron was completely spotless. It bothered her slightly that her hair was not present, but she sucked it up and did exactly as she was told. If she didn't, in addition to public humiliation, she would also face personal disappointment.
She added the pumpkin juice in and carefully brought it to a low simmer. She waited for further instructions.

Heh.

Destiny was relieved when she found out they were going to brew the hair growing potion. It was bad enough being tied to Marie and she didn't want to be bald AND tied to Marie.

Marie..Destiny wished she would stay bald though. Make this rope curse more amusing. Marie could be like Destiny's bald little kruppie walking on a leash..heehee.

Destiny quickly took out parchment and quill and wrote down the ingredients. She really hoped they weren't going to need to wear goggles in this class, since they were the reason she was in trouble last class. She was sure seeing Evelyn wearing goggles while bald would make her laugh even worse.



Finally finished with the notes, she ran a hand over her bald head while she waited for what to do.

Ingredients! That's what they had to do now! Pulling Marie with her, she grabbed the things she was going to need. It was a lot of stuff too, and she thought she would need to make two trips. Luckily she managed with one, and she was glad. She didn't want Marie to complain..some more. When she made it back to her station, she placed all her supplies down.

As she waited for the next set of directions, she once again ran a hand over her head. Heh. She should have taken that aloe glop from Herbology class. It would have come in handy right about now...It would probably make her head cold though..or flammable. O___o

Hearing the next step, she immediately pulled out her wand. Her cauldron was already clean since the Professor had done it for her last class, sooo that meant she could start her hair potion! Placing the cauldron on the burner, she poured the gallon of pumpkin juice inside and cast a quick "Incendio!".

That spell..

Waiting for the pumpkin juice to simmer, she moved closer to Evelyn and whispered, "Make sure your books are away from your fire..the fire that you are NOT allowed to light!" There was no way she was going to let Evelyn cast that spell..not after what happened last class.

"Incendio." she said pointing her wand at the bottom of her friends cauldron.

Everyone was safe..for now.

Mina quickly fixed her mistake and scolded herself. She really needed to pay better attention and focus or else she would have no hair again.

A great potioneer by the name of Ceasar Auricomus had studied and researched male and female baldness; eventually came up with this cure.


Capillatum Potion

1 gallon pumpkin juice
4 oz Flobberworm mucus
8 drops of Lavender essence
1 cup Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica)
5 Mandrake leaves (adult plant)
6 spoons Honey
12 Fluxweed leaves
1 sprig of Peppermint
1 drop of Re'em blood
3 Knotgrass blossoms
3 Rat tails
10 drops of Saw Palmetto extract
2 oz Zinc

Preparation

Steps

1. Add Pumpkin juice.
2. Turn on the fire.
3. Bring to a simmer.

Turning her attention back to her cauldron, it was clean but she was going to triple check it anyway. She couldn't afford to have any more mistakes. Setting it down, she turned the fire on. It just needed to simmer now. She kept a very close eye on it though, it just needed to be a low simmer and she wasn't about to mess up again.

Clean their cauldron? Pfft. Hers was always clean. Always VERY clean.

However, she made sure once again that it was as clean as she thought it was, and when she was satisfied with it enough, Evelyn carefully poured in the gallon of pumpkin juice so it didn't splash all over everywhere. She didn't want a second mess to clean up when they just started.

Sitting back down on her stool, she was about to take out her wand to light a fire under the cauldron when she paused. Eh, perhaps that wasn't such a good idea. But, hearing her friend say something about not lighting it and THEN seeing Destiny light the fire under her cauldron for her, the Slytherin gave her friend a grateful nod before moving to make sure it wasn't too high of a flame.

Yea, her and fire weren't so good. It was too pretty!! Best keep her wand hidden or something so she wasn't tempted.

Writing down the steps taken in her notebook, Evelyn suddenly realized that Destiny also mentioned something about keeping her book away from the fire, which immediately made her check to see if it was ON fire. Nope. No it was good. A little too close to the flame though. "Thanks..." she mumbled, pushing the book away from the pretty orange and blue light before laying her quill down on the table.

Pfft. Darn book, being in the way...

Whoops! Patroclus thought, as he made the adjustment, luckily he was not alone.
Double checking Patroclus ensured both his work space and his cauldron, were spotlessly clean, he needed to get this potion right.
“Incendio” speaking the incantation, the fire leapt from his wand to beneath his cauldron, which had his pumpkin juice laying in it, ready to be simmered.

He then filled him his Parchment, CORRECTLY

Tori rolled her eyes as she checked her cauldron. It was clean from the last time since she washed it twice, not something she enjoyed very much but it payed off now.
She poured i gallon of pumpkin juice in her cauldron and lit the burner, "Incendio."she commanded pointing her wand at the now lit burner. She turned it down a bit since it looked too high to bring it to a simmer.

Simon looked at the Professor and went and got his ingredience but then what. OHH, who did she think he was a house maid, well he wasn't he quickly wiped his cauldron until it was clean for him, he then added the pumpkin juice in and turned on the fire." Simon looked at what he had done before turning the fire to a low simmer.

Selena cleaned her cauldron thoroughly. It was clean now. She poured in the pumpkin juice and turned on the fire. Selena then brought the fire down to a low simmer.

Alcemee cleaned her cauldron, which was actually already very clean. She added the pumpkin juice and put a low, simmering fire under her cauldron. Then she waited for Hecate to say what the next step was.

She took a whiff of the pumpkin juice brewing... She didn't like the taste of the stuff, but the scent was simply intoxicating...

"Second step." She said with a coldness to her voice, "With the wooden spoon from your basic potions kit, take the goowey mucus and stir it into the juice. Do not touch it with your hands... 1. you will need a special solution to get it to come off, and I don't have any. You will need to go to the nurse's office. and 2. it'll taint your potion, and your hair won't come back." She said and smirked. She liked the bald kids... they were less... impertinent.

Trixie wrote down all the notes. She had to pretty much takes notes on EVERYTHING seeing as she couldn't remember anything herself. She followed the professors instructions, stirring in that disgusting looking goowey stuff and being EXTREMELY careful that she didn't touch it with her hands. She didn't want another experience back at the Nurses Office.

Selena took note of that. She liked her hair. She took the spoon and used it to take the mucus. She made sure not to touch it and she stirred the goowey mucus into the pumpkin juice. The pumpkin juice had seemed good till now.

Dianna did was she was told to do and after cleaning her cauldron added the pumpkin juice and set the fire on.
Getting her wooden spoon she scooped the mucus and stirred, being careful not to touch or even breath it.
