In The Three Broomsticks, you will rarely find a speck of dust or smudged cutlery. In winter months, a fire blazes in the hearth, and the shutters and curtains are thrown wide open in warmer weather. You can stop in for just a butterbeer or a snack, or you can order a full meal. Grab a menu or step up to the counter and the new bartender and manager, Juliette Shepherd, will be glad to help you. So come on in, pull up a chair and grab yourself a butterbeer.

She loved that he got increasingly nervous as they talked about this list. "What would you says #1...and #2? Just so I'll know not to change those things about myself..."

I was born in London and raised in Paris by my adopted parents."

Mina turned and noticed Rex. Smiling she stepped up and gave him a small hug. "Rex, it's okay. You aren't bothering me at all. Just grabbing a bite with Carter and about to met up with another friend." She really hadn't see the older Gryffie in some time and she did feel very bad about it. At the mention of 'The Magical Five' being broken up, she frowned. "I feel so bad about that, I was never around much and I should have been a better friend. We do need to talk about everything, don't we?" Glancing around a little, she smiled softly. "Maybe we should talk some time later. I feel like I haven't talked to you in the longest time."

"That does sound like a delightful place to be," Rafe would definitely have to make a pit stop to Italy on his way to Romania. "I guess laying under the Tuscan sun would be nice. I definitely need to work on my tan, it's so shady here in England." Rafe definitely could probably slip away again, but what if he did get attached to his new little sister or brother? That would definitely be hard...but to tell his father that his mother remarried would definitely be harder.

Well, Marilyn certain was persistent. "Well, I love it when you begin twirling your hair when you're nervous, it's just the cutest thing, it makes me want to learn how to braid or something," Rafe was totally kidding about the braiding part, but it was probably his favorite habit that Marilyn had. "As for number two, it's you're independence. You say what's on your mind and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. You definitely are a beat to your own drum." Rafe blushed a little. But, he did believe honesty and communication were some of the most important things in a relationship. Wow, this was turning into a relationship... later rather than sooner, but still. Now that he thought about it, he'd never been in a relationship...well, a real one. Was it getting hot in here?

" There is a lot of sports out there like football, baseball, basketball, hockey and tennis to name a few" Rex explained more to Elora about America. " There is hot weather, cold weather, rain and snow in different states at different times of the year" Rex finished talking about some of America. " I will tell you more late after you tell me about London and Paris "Rex said to Elora. "So you like the idea of a "New Magical Five?" Rex asked Elora.

"Deal." Carter said walking up to the counter. "We'll have 2 butterbeers, 2 grilled turkey sandwiches with cheese, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, one of those fruit things... and... hmmm..." he turned back to Mina. "What dessert did you want?"

"Thanks, Love that means a lot to me. I want to be friends with all the houses. Even Slytherin." Kay said looking into Rex's eyes. "I think that we will always have a bit of the Magical five with us. Even if it just the magical two." Kay really believe in Rex and that they could do anything they put their minds to.

"Wow, Paris. I have never been there." Kay said "Is it nice?" She always wanted to go there. "Yes the Magical Five was a great idea that Rex had and I think that, Like you said we just need the right mix for people." Kay answered and hope that maybe Rex would want Elora in with them. Marilyn smirked at Rafe, thinking he looked amazing no matter what skin tone he was sporting. "You'll definitely have to do that. We'll have a fantastic time." She desperately hoped he would come visit her over the summer. More than anything just to make sure he was safe...and alive. There was no telling what he'd be getting up to in Romania. Merlin, it scared her...But now was not the time to think about that...

"Like I said, Jazz will love you...Simply because I do...He values my opinion, as I do his." Jasper could be considered a little difficult at times. He was moody and unusually quiet. But Marilyn seriously doubted Rafe would rub him the wrong way. Well, she prayed he wouldn't, anyway.

"Im surprised you'd find that trait endearing...It annoys even me at times." Marilyn caught herself before she could reach up for any pieces of hair. Nervous habits really sucked. "As for being independent...Well, I can't help it. It was how I was raised. Only muggles and those related to them have the need to depend on others, Marilyn. My father's a right git, I know." She shrugged, unabashed at her admission. Everyone knew about the monster Benjamin Force was. Lying and attempting to cover it up would only embarrass at this point.

For some reason, Mina didn't like how that sounded. If they ever see each other again? She didn't like the tone of it but she shrugged it off. She was sure she would possible run into him again, even if she wasn't.

Carter paid for and grabbed the food. (There was tons of it!) He spotted Mina and set the two trays down carefully. He didn't want to spill the soup everywhere. He sorted through the food: he put one sandwich on his side, one on Mina's, the chicken soup on his side, the tomato soup on hers, and then he placed the fruit in the middle. He opened both butterbeers and handed her one. "Cheers." he said holding his bottle up.

"Like I said, Jazz will love you...Simply because I do...He values my opinion, as I do his." Jasper could be considered a little difficult at times. He was moody and unusually quiet. But Marilyn seriously doubted Rafe would rub him the wrong way. Well, she prayed he wouldn't, anyway.

"Im surprised you'd find that trait endearing...It annoys even me at times." Marilyn caught herself before she could reach up for any pieces of hair. Nervous habits really sucked. "As for being independent...Well, I can't help it. It was how I was raised. Only muggles and those related to them have the need to depend on others, Marilyn. My father's a right git, I know." She shrugged, unabashed at her admission. Everyone knew about the monster Benjamin Force was. Lying and attempting to cover it up would only embarrass at this point.

"And maybe you could come to Romania," Rafe said with a raised eyebrow. There were only rare occasions where normal witches and wizards would be allowed into the castle's walls of his father's, most of them only came on a full moon to be bitten. But, if his father was able to take a common witch for a bride, then certain his son would able to bring his...~~girl~~friend along as well. "I think my father might be hosting a few games this summer." Rafe probably shouldn't have said that. It wasn't dueling, it was simple punches and your occasional muggle weaponry. Marilyn probably wouldn't want to see such brutality. "Nevermind the games, but a visit would be nice." He said as he forced a smile.

Rafe was pleased that she was fine with his answers. "I think your father and my mother would get along fine," Rafe said with a grin, but despite how his mum had treated him for twelve years, she had definitely become a different person. She was able to love again and Rafe was grateful. "So, tell me Miss Force is there anything about me that might make the list of such a proper lady?" Rafe couldn't help, but be curious about her answers.

Marilyn arched her brow at Rafe's words. Naturally, she'd follow him anywhere and if he wanted to take her to Romania, she wouldn't hesitate...but would she be allowed? Tradition clans were very particular about who they allowed into there lands. "You think I'd be accepted there?" She bit her lip, her mind running miles. "I refuse to get you in any kind of trouble..."

Her hand flew up to cover her laughter as he inquired about her list. Oh, if he only knew...Feeling this was a good time to divert the attention away from said topic, Marilyn stood. She glanced down at her wrist. "Look at the time...I believe that slumber party will be starting soon..." She flashed her best smile, giving nothing away about any supposed list. "We'd better get going..."

After all, she was a little harder to crack. Rafe would have to do more than simply ask about such a thing...

"Marilyn come on, I don't think they'd mind if the prince brought a guest...I've avoided death once to get to you and I'm not about to lose you again," Rafe said with a smile. Technically he was only reclaimed a few months ago, but nonetheless he was still the son of the werewolf leader.

"Oh, what perfect timing," Rafe said sarcastically. This was definitely something he would have to bring up again in conversation. But, she did have a point, the slumber party would be starting soon and he didn't want to miss it. "I guess we should be going to get ready, though I don't think getting into PJs will take that long!" Rafe chuckled. "I guess I'll see you there maybe," he said as he leaned down and gave her a big hug and then a swift kiss on the cheek. "It's been a pleasure as usual Monroe." He gave a little bow.

Mina smiled and placed her coin purse back into her pocket. Following behind, she glanced around the room and noticed how quiet it looked. The last time she was there, it was last term and the whole place was full of students and it was kind of hard to hear above the chatter. Yet, today it was very quiet. Finding one near the back, she sat down and yawned. Why was she so tired at the moment?

"Seems you want to talk to me" Rex told Mina. " You just never have the time" Rex said to Mina. " You originally told me you were not interested in boys but Carter seems to take all your time away" Rex explained to Mina. "What happened to us?" Rex asked Mina? " I really thought we were good friends and we told each other a long time ago we would always find time to talk to each other no matter what the circumstance" Rex said to Mina.
" I kind of figured when you did not visit me at the healer, there was something wrong with our friendship" He told Mina. " I really like you as a friend but your actions of late seem to say we are not friends anymore" Rex told Mina.

Marilyn laughed, moving her own lips to kiss his cheek lightly. "Okay, okay. I understand that you'd never put me in danger. I was just voicing my concerns..." She pulled back, admiring his lovely face for a moment. She brought a hand up lazily to rub across his jaw. "Your facial hair does grow fast...I actually like this look on you."

Noticing his sarcastic tone, she smirked. "Sorry, love...Im not as easy to coax answers from as you are." Marilyn continued to give Rafe her knowing look, pleased that she'd somehow evaded his questioning. "And the pleasure was all mine. We'll have to do this again sometime, yea?" Not waiting for a response, she winked playfully before walking out the door.

Mina blinked a little and shook her head. As if she didn't feel like a terrible person already for not having any time for her other friends, she felt even worst now that Rex was confronting her so. Yes, she had been spending some time with Carter and Ella. They were her best friends after all. "Rex, you know very well that Carter is my best friend and I am not interested him in that kind of way. Time has gotten away from me. And I know that shouldn't be an excuse but it isn't like I'm avoiding our friendship." She wasn't at all herself lately and the sheer fact she was neglecting her other friends should have been enough sign for others to seemed concerned, but no one noticed it.

Shaking her head in her hands, she sighed. Seriously, where had things gone so wrong in their friendship. Looking up at Rex, she felt the ping of guilt and a spark of jealousy. "I'm sorry about not coming to see you in the hospital room, I had meant to, but I couldn't for some reason." She did wanted to go, but every time she headed in the direction something stopped her. Things hadn't been the same since Barry's party and all. She didn't want to fact it, she didn't want be be the bad guy. "I'm sure we are both gulity of making assumptions about each other and that is where our friendship failed. I'm sorry if you don't see as a worthy friend right now and I'm sorry that I couldn't continue being the fifth wheel to the four of you any more." Where had this all come from? Had she always felt this way since the beginning or was it something that had slowly festered inside her and she just didn't want to face.

Shaking her head, she bit her lip. "This probably isn't the time of place for this Rex. I wouldn't want to ruin your outing with your other friends or anything. Maybe I'll just see you around the grounds sometime later." She wasn't in the mood for an argument, especially in the middle of the Three Broomsticks or on this weekend. As if it wasn't hard enough being in Hogsmeade on this Valentine's weekend. Turning on her heels before Rex even had a chance to reply to her, she headed for the safety of her table and hopefully an understand best friend.
