In The Three Broomsticks, you will rarely find a speck of dust or smudged cutlery. In winter months, a fire blazes in the hearth, and the shutters and curtains are thrown wide open in warmer weather. You can stop in for just a butterbeer or a snack, or you can order a full meal. Grab a menu or step up to the counter and the new bartender and manager, Juliette Shepherd, will be glad to help you. So come on in, pull up a chair and grab yourself a butterbeer.

Now Marie knew there was something wrong. "Destiny, did you drink the butterbeer Kay gave you?" she leaned over and whispered to her. That had to be it, Kay had to put something in the drink, there was NO WAY Destiny would call Kay her best friend.
She looked over at Kay with a Did you do this to her look. Sure, they had done it to Kay and Barry, well it was supposed to be Rex, not their fault Barry stole the drink from Rex, but hey, who said they could pull one over on Destiny, that was just so..... NOT COOL.
Marie moved closer to Destiny. Maybe if her and Evelyn stayed close enough to her she wouldn't do anything she would regret later.

Kay started to move so that she was sitting right next to Marie again, hoping the whole time Rex would just grab her and drag her out of this place. Instead of friendship and feeling all warm and fuzzy, she was starting to feel upset and fear. She couldn't stop feel out of control. And Kay was starting to also feel mad.

A butterbeer from Kay? So Kay was the one that made Destiny all...like this. Well seriously, the Hufflepuff was going to have to watch what she eats and drinks from now on till the rest of her school years here. No one messes with her friends!!
Although, Kay apparently finally realized what was going on and was having some sort of fit or something. That wasn't good...there was a lot of witnesses in here and in case if things became nasty, she'd have to make up a huge excuse, and fast. Well, they could just blame everything on Kazi. There we go.
Snickering at Marie's words, she nodded in agreement, watching the other group's every move. If anything look suspicious...

Elora walked into the Three Broomsticks. She had never been here before. Only Madame Puddifoots. It seemed nice here. She couldn't wait to just have a butterbeer and talk to Rex.
"Well, but we promised to write each other, no matter how far we are. So, it will be..." Annie said, nodding firmly to Drew as she grinned then looking out that window, that directed her sight towards the Hogwarts Express. It was so close, the exit towards home that could be her doom for a whole month. "And you'll tell me all about your Christmas and New Year's Eve...okay?" It was more of a request than a question, but Annie wondered about Drew's life back home.
She took a glance at the two plaques as Drew mentioned they had his full name. "You will be so close to my heart, these three weeks..." She whispered. It was wonderful, though a bit weird. Annie had never said these words before.
"Yessss but writting is not the same though." Drew said with a small sigh. He followed her gaze out the window. Grahhh! It was just about time to leave. To go home where Annie wasn't there. "I promise to tell you every single detail about it." He said smiling as he took her hand and gave it gentle squeeze.
Drew just smiled wide to her words. "Yes and everytime I wear my new scarf you will be on my mind." He promised still smiling.
"Rex comes back . " Ok, let's leave this crazy place" Rex told Kay. " I will explain what I did at the castle about this situation" Rex promised her. "We can go now" Rex said to kay. Rex gave Marie a smirky smile.

"Destiny, you seriousely don't want to hug her do you?" There was no way Kay was Destiny's best friend. Even Marie who was friends with Destiny knew that Evalyn was her best friend. That butterbeer was definately spiked with Kay's potion. That was the only way to explain Destiny's actions.
Oh Good, she was coming to her senses, "Don't worry, I didn't plan on moving." Nope, Destiny would have to push her out of her seat if she wanted her to move now.
"Umm yeah, I do believe she spiked your drink. Don't worry though, we will get her back." Oh wait, Marie already did, sort of. she had spiked Kays too and she made a bigger fool of herself they way she acted. At least Destiny had friends that helped keep her from doing something she would regret later.
Oh and then there was Kay, stumbling over her words. "You call me mean? You did the same thing I did so who's the mean one now?" What, it was okay for Kay to spike Destiny's drink but when Marie did it she was being mean. "Get over yourself Kay, you know we are not friends, you ruined that friendship on the train. It's not my fault my potion worked so good on you and you made a fool of yourself."
"Thats right, run along with your boyfriend, maybe he can find you some real friends." Marie returned the smirk Rex gave her. Seriousely, what did that boy see in that girl? He could do so much better than her.
Eww, she shook her head as a shiver ran down her spine. Why did she care about who Rex was dating? He was just as much the enemy as Kay was..... right?

Kay was stunned. She didn't know what to say. She looked at the other girl and when looked down. "Oh, Rex." Kay whisper softly thinking she couldn't wait to get to the castle. She wanted to see the ring and pin, but not here with other people around. She wanted it to be just the two of them. "So, when can we go to the castle?" She asked hoping it would be soon.
Elora suddenly felt out of place. Rex and Kay were nice, but she felt they needed to be alone. She drank the rest of her butterbeer and said," It was nice meeting you both. But I should probably go study."

She told her, and in that second the bell sounded. It was the first call, an hour before the train departed. "I guess it's time to go..."
Biting her lip, her smile went wider, though time was calling them. "We shall continue this talk on the train, maybe? We still have to get our luggage from our common rooms and wish happy holidays to our friends..." Long to-do list before leaving.

This was a night to celebrate after winning against Slytherin, though it was Marilyn's house, but he knew she would be fine with his happiness nonetheless. But, this was simply going to be a evening of two friends having a butterbeer nothing more. Rafe took a booth in the corner. He went ahead and paid for two butterbeers and he waited for Marilyn to arrive before eating anything else.

She'd had the hardest time trying to figure out something to wear...She'd finally settled on a pair of dark-washed skinny jeans with a plain white v-neck shirt, along with her ivory Uggs and matching trench coat. it was her favorite winter outfit and while it might not have been that cold to anyone else, Marilyn couldn't seem to maintain her bodyheat. Stupid experiments...
She spotted her favorite Gryffindor easily and made her way towards the corner where he was sitting. "Hey you."
"Well hello gorgeous," Rafe said as he stood up and brushed off his jacket. He went up to her and gave her a quick peck on the cheek with a hug. "You look lovely as usual." Rafe motioned for her to take a seat as he took a seat as well. "I went ahead and ordered us butterbeers, but do feel free to order food, I know I'm starving!" Rafe rubbed his hands together. He couldn't help but smile. Nothing could possibly go wrong today. "So you going to the slumber party?"

Marilyn embraced Rafe lovingly, bestowing her own kiss upon his cheek. He looked absolutely wonderful in his dark suit, the color setting off his complexion. Just seeing him always made the Slytherin blush. She was sure he could model if he ever got the notion...
"Oh, I'm staved myself...Although, I've never ate here. So, I'm not too familiar with their menu..." She smiled at him sweetly, trying to calm her rapidly beating heart. "And I wouldn't miss that slumber party for anything in the world. It should prove...very interesting."
"Well, the shepherd's pie is really delicious...and the ham sandwich...oooh the turkey is divine," Rafe laughed and cast his gaze on the table, then looked back at Marilyn, "I'm sorry, it's part of the diet, I'm a bit of a carnivore when it comes to good..." Rafe took a sip of his butterbeer. Was it getting hot in here? Why did he feel more nervous than usual? "Umm...but there's soups and they have fruit, I know how much you like fruit." He gave her a little wink.
"Yeah, I'm trying to find shirt to wear, I usually just were box- ...pajama shorts," he said with a raised eyebrow. That was a little embarrassing. "But yeah, interesting." Rafe wondered if Marilyn would be going with Carter...actually he didn't want to think about that.

To me, there's nothing better than a medium-rare ribeye. She tried not to let on that she knew of his nervousness...but her grin couldn't be stopped. "What would you suggest, Rafe?"

She'd really need to work on not touching him all the time. "I think the Sheperd's Pie sounds delicious. I'd also like a bowl of cut pineapple, as well." She snuggled farther into her coat, not being able to shake the cold once again. Hopefully the fruit would help her to not feel so sick tonight. "I'll probably wear my green and black plaid pajamas. They aren't high fashion like the rest of my clothing...but they are so comfortable." Taking a sip of her butterbeer, she sighed. "it's not like I need to impress anyone, i suppose..."

"Alright, two shepherd's pies and a bowl of pineapple and a bowl of mango, coming right up," Rafe ordered up at the counter and before he could say Quidditch, their order was ready and he brought it back to their seats. "Are you alright, you look a bit chilly?" But, before he waited for an answer he sat next to her. His body was certainly warm enough. He loved to cold, it felt like spring. "Well, I don't have anything special to wear, but I think being comfortable is the most important." Rafe dove right into the food. It was pretty good. Rafe thought he could do better. "You know if I don't make it in Quidditch, I wouldn't mind studying at culinary school. I love food! It's almost like an art."

Kay was stunned. She didn't know what to say. She looked at the other girl and when looked down. "Oh, Rex." Kay whisper softly thinking she couldn't wait to get to the castle. She wanted to see the ring and pin, but not here with other people around. She wanted it to be just the two of them. "So, when can we go to the castle?" She asked hoping it would be soon.
" Ok, wwe will go to the castle now" Rex told Kay. " i am glad you are happy" rex said to Kay.
