TyTY and Nateypoo Quote:
She sighed, looking at the two boys, and mumbled, more to herself than anyone else, "I'm so sick of feeling scared." Then she looked toward the castle, and tears filled her eyes. She had wanted to so badly to be back here, and here she was, smelling like dung, feeling like she could count the number of people on her side on one hand. "I'm going to go." she said abruptly, setting off for the castle with tears running down her face. She wasn't going to the Common Room. No way, not like this. Maybe she'd go see Mr. Masterson or Professor Pilliwickle... maybe they knew how to get rid of dungbomb stench because Cadence was pretty sure that smell didn't just wash out. |

I'm really sorry it's rather long. >.< - Transfiguration Lesson I HW Q#4 Melanie made her way down to the Student Garden, a bag filled with books slung over her shoulder, papers spilling this way and that in a most unorganized way. The fourth year made her way over near the rows of flutterby bushes, taking a second to take in the flowery smell around her, before throwing herself onto the ground beside a cherry tree, leaning her back against it's truck. Then she pretty much dumped her bag onto the ground, picking a Transfiguration textbook out of the pile as well as a piece of parchment. Melanie had resolved to study hear, instead of the library or the common room, simply because she was going to be working on her Transfiguration Homework... And if she was going to be conjuring butterflies or flowers... Well, outside was the place for them to be right? Right. It took Melanie a few minutes to finish the beginning of the assignment. She worked through it steadily, pausing only once or twice to look up a few of the details she couldn't quite remember from the lesson. Then, when she was satisfied, Melanie put a lid on her ink bottle and put away her quill, itching her cheek... and successfully leaving a multicolored streak from the ink, across her face. Melanie shoved the paper in her bag to hand in later. She was ready to move on to the practical part of the Homework. Wand out, brows furrowed, and face drawn with concentration, Melanie thought HARD, centering her thoughts on flowers. She thought of BIG daisies, yellow and black like the Hufflepuff colors. Only... Melanie didn't exactly know what they were called. Hmpf. That didn't make a difference though. Or at least she didn't think it did. She just had to picture it in her mind.... So, naturally, she was the perfect PICTURE of concentration with a ridiculous expression on her face, and now sitting with her legs crossed as if she was meditating. However, despite this concentration, when Melanie swooped her wand in a circle, and spoke the word "Orchideous!" with the her best pronunciation, the the results were rather... Disappointing. Heartbreaking. HORRIBLY UGLY AND UTTERLY DREADFUL. Perhaps that was a bit of an overstatement though. They were just pink flowers instead of yellow ones. She wasn't quite sure why but Melanie wasn't so fond of pink. Surely her mistake was due to the overuse of pink around her though. Yes. And this time she'd close her eyes. Her face tightening with concentration once more, Melanie tossed the other flower aside, toward some cherry blossoms on the ground. Yeah. It could go see it's pink friends. Then, she held her wand erect in the air once more, doing the little twirly circular motion and.... she spoke. "Orchideous." The girl peeked out of one eye cautiously, but hopefully, as she felt something hit her leg and... It was a green flower. GREEN. She liked green but, it was most certainly not YELLOW. She wanted a yellow one and she wouldn't feel as if she;d finished her task until she conjured one. So feeling rather frustrated with herself now, Melanie stood up. She repeated the incantation, making circles madly in the air, some of which.... didn't really look like circles. "Orchideous." Blue flower. "Orchideous." Red flower. "Orchideous!" PURPLE flower. Melanie stared at it thoughtfully for a second, coming to the conclusion the Transfiguration professor would probably like it. She still wasn't satisfied though. For the sixth time, she said the spell's incantation. "ORCH-I-DEEE-OUS!" she cried. And there it was, sitting right there on the ground. A yellow flower. A little shocked, but pleased all the same Melanie picked it up, and tucked it behind her ear cheerfully. Success. It tasted so sweet. Picking up the other flowers dutifully and tucking them in her bag so she could put them on her bedside table later, with some water, Melanie gathered her books up, and tossed them into her bag. Then she deposited her wand in her pocket. With that task done, she ambled back to toward castle, stumbling over a tree root or so, a goofy looking grin of triumph on her face all the while. |

"Hmmm..." He muttered and folded his arms. Giving her a scrutinizing look as he sucked in his bottom lip, Blake finally added, "You look fairly good, umm above average." He said in a serious tone and gave her a vague smile. Pahahah! He's joking, of course! He likes the red hair better! |
Quote:
And then she heard him say she was fairly good. She gave him a look, blinking profusely. He was joking, riiiiiiiiiight? And then she reached over and pinched his cheek. "Well, aren't you kind," She said in a sarcastic tone. As she stretched out her legs leaned her head back a bit, she said, "So, what's up? How's life at Hogwarts for ya?" |
Transfig hw After his ultimate and epic FAIL at conjuring flowers for Healer Ashford, Aaron headed straight for outdoors. There was NO WAY he was going to plan on conjuring anything for anyone ever again. NO MORE embarrassing failures! Granted, who would want butterflies anyway? Especially from him; they'd probably only have one wing or no antennas or something ridiculously wrong with them. He needed to wait until he was like at LEAST fifteen before he started conjuring gifts for people. But that's not to say he wouldn't try; and Professor Pickles (that was her name, right?) had to give him points for just trying. What is it, A for Effort? Hopefully. Arriving at a the student gardens, the first year pondered for a moment. Was this even a good idea? What had the Professor lady said anyway? Something about butterflies liking flowers? Of course it didn't even occur to Aaron that these flowers wouldn't be good to destroy; nor did he even recall that the butterflies typically EAT flowers. Flicking his wand, as he took a deep breath, Aaron then confidently (as any eleven year old could be, which usually added a hint of cockiness) said "Papilio!" Much to his surprise though, a flock of about 3-4 ORANGE & BLACK monarch butterflies emerged from his wand. And immediately flocked to the nearest flower bush and devoured all the flowers on it. Whoops ... hopefully, no one will notice And with that, the small first year (grateful again for his very petite size) made a quick escape, hopeful no one saw him as the one to do it. And of course, like any inexperienced first year, he left the monarchs behind |
Transfig? Yes. It was obvious Celandine was distracted. Leaving her homework to the last minute? Not like her at all. So much was in her head. She'd avoided Hogsmeade like the plague because of the creepy feelings she was getting, avoided Tiberius because she'd felt super bad and weird about burning up his coupon, missed Copernicus to a painful degree, generally been in a non-Cela like bad mood, missed Professor Kazimeriz heaps and HEAPS and... not done her Transfiguration homework. So it was that she made her way to the gardens, wand in hand, intending to practice the spell a bit, simply because according to the homework, they were supposed to. Would just a little bit be enough? Cela wasn't sure. She found a quiet spot and closed her eyes, just thinking... She held her wand loosely and thought of butterflies, all sorts of colours, floating through her imagination. She could almost feel them tickling the insides of her eyelids as she imagined them. She had to admit even thinking about them was kind of making her feel a little bit more like her cheerful self. She opened her eyes and swished her wand, thinking Papilio, her minds eye still focused on butterflies. And butterflies she got. Dozens of pink glasswings flowed from her mind, through her wand, and into the air around her. Their wings were slightly transparent except for a pink patch and Cela marveled at the way they caught the light. She was smiling by now and a realisation came to her. She could control them like when you used Avis to conjure birds right? Like Papilio with... "Oppungo!" Celandine didn't need to say it loud, her voice was sure but soft. There wasn't anything to attack of course, and Cela wasn't sure what butterflies could DO except... flutter threateningly or something, but they followed the swoop of her wand instantly, spiraling where she directed them, catching the light and the eye. They would make a good distraction in a duel. She let the butterflies go, not quite feeling up to vanishing them when they were so pretty and all, so they just flew off, immediately heading to the puffapod flowers and flutterby bushes and joyfully feasting on the nectar. Celandine watched for a few minutes in silence, then headed back up to the school, idly tapping her wand against her lips and changing the colour on them as she went. |

Lucy's expressions gave it all. She was definitely not pleased to be rated average. He watched with furrowed brows as her hands reached for his face and then, she pinched his cheeks. He's NOT a kid, Lucy shouldn't pinch him again or he'd be compelled to tickle her. "You're so forgetful, Juicy. I told you, I'M NOT KIND! Anything but KIND!" Aww he may renounce but Blake is kind. Scooting towards Lucy, he rested his head on her shoulder and sighed, "Full of drama! It's ruining my grades." He muttered with frown. Sleepless nights and a broken heart keeps him pretty much busy. Le sigh. "What about you? I've been hearing certain 'things'..." Liiiar. Hehe. Heard nothing about anything. |
Quote:
She laughed when he said he wasn't kind. "Aww, yes you are! Stop lying to yourself," She said as he sighed with his head on her shoulder. And the poor kid was troubled--Lucy knew how he felt. Life was always full of drama when you went to Hogwarts. "Aww, really? What happened?" She asked him. And then he asked about her. Wait--how could he have heard? Hmm. Perhaps he was lying. "What things?" She asked with a giggle, not giving anything away until he told her about his problems first. |
Quote:
He's not going to tell her he's in LOVE with his BEST FRIEND! Or could he? Girls are good at giving advices and stuff. "Nothing happened. I'm just a bit confused and .. yeah." He's NOT going to open up first. Mwaha. Scratching the back of his neck, Blake scrunched up his face. He had no idea about the thing he just mentioned but really, what is the hot topic in a teenage girls life?....Boys..yeah boys..BOYS!? Oh yes, boyssss. Smirking, Blake said, "About that guy everyone has been talking about. A certain bird tweeted to me that you two are an item now." Bulls eye? Definitely. |
Quote:
And if he wanted to know about her personal life, he was gonna have to give a little first. Hehe. When he mentioned the GUY, Lucy smiled but looked away, trying to focus on the flowers in the garden, but a bit of pink could be seen on her cheeks. "What guy?" She said innocently, but then decided to compromise. She was good at making those. "Okay, fine," She said as she turned to look at him again. "I'll tell you about this GUY if you tell me what's bothering YOU. Do we have a deal?" She asked him with raised eyebrows. |
Charms HW!! Destiny was on another one of her missions. This one was a little more difficult than the rest, since it was really hard to find a cat. Cats were slier than a herd of Slytherins. Maybe.. She knew how much her cat liked grass, and where else but the student garden would she find more grass? Walking in, Destiny called for her cat. Even if he was he, he would not answer. He was only concerned in eating grass and nothing would change that. She should've known to not get the cat that banged his head against the glass. But he was just the cuuutest little guy! 'Inspector Sly Moustache! Are you in herrrre?' She took a bag of treats out of her pocket and started to shake the bag. Maybe he would come running if he heard it. She waited a few moments and when he didn't come, she started walking again. Walking, shaking the treats and a few pss, pss, psses later, Destiny saw from the corner of her eye, something moving in the grass. Mmhmm, Inspector Sly Moustache. She slowly walked over to the kitten, as not not scare him, and what she saw would surely give Bunbury gray hairs. 'By Jove, Sly! What did you do?' The kitten did not seem to care that he was called out on his wrong-doings and he continued to eat at the flowers. Picking up the very bad cat, Destiny almost broke out into a run for it, before she thought of what would happen to the cat if someone found out he did that. Tucking the cat under her left arm, Destiny pulled out her wand with her right hand. The kitten squirmed, but she had a good enough grasp on it, and it wouldn't get away again. He gave a faint meow and settled down after he realized he wasn't going anywhere. How was Destiny supposed to fix these flowers? Luckily, upon further inspection, Sly only managed to eat about three flowers. 'Lucky kitty.' Tapping her wand on a full, non-eaten flower and a clear Geminio later, Destiny had produced an exact copy of the flower. She didn't know how long the flower would last, but as long as she got out of there before she got caught, she didn't care. Saying the charm a few more times, she produced the rest of the flowers. Ehh, it didn't look that bad, but she was proud of herself. She put her wand away and made a dash for it, the kitten in her arms meowing like crazy. He still wanted the flowers.. |
When the wave of homesickness had hit, Ivory thought of only one place to go. The garden....or the greenhouses which she'd go explore later today. But for now...the gardens that reminded her of her parent's one garden back home. As she ambled through the beautifully kept greenery in her 'herb garb' and boots, she looked around in admiration at the plants. Their optimism was to be admired. Didn’t they know frost was lurking in the shadows about to pounce? Yet, the flowers continued to dance in the sun. Ivory breathed in the cool crisp air knowing it wouldn't be long before all the leaves made their descent and the trees and flowers would be left bereft of their company. At least until spring came. Deciding the plants deserved a bit of care before winter, she made her way to the pink shed to retrieve a watering can. As she stepped into the shed, she looked excitedly at impressive array of tools, buckets, and water cans that a garden of this magnitude needed. Grabbing a few tools, a bucket, and a pink watering can, she set off toward the planters. Setting all her stuff down, she rolled up her sleeves and took out her wand, the usual blue flame appearing at the tip. Smiling at the warmth in her hand, she gave her wand a gentle flourish. "Me and you are going to do something productive today." The flame flickered excitedly and Ivory let out a small laugh. If anyone saw her they'd probably think her strange for talking to her wand and even stranger when a few minutes later she started talking to the flowers. Since she'd been a baby, her mother had always talked and sang to her plants and she'd passed on this habit to Ivory. Running her hands over the petals of the nearest Excelsior's White Lilies, she marveled at their soft petals this close to winter. "Hello lovlies." she said crouching down so she was face level with the flowers. "We should probably get the pleasantries out of the way." Taking a leaf carefully in one of her hands, she cautiously shook it as she would a person's hand. "I'm Ivory and its an honor to make your acquaintance." A gentle November breeze drifted by rustling the plant life and Ivory pretended as if it was a response. "Nice to meet you too." she smiled. "Don't worry I don't mean any of you harm." Leaning closer she whispered covertly, "I'm just gonna get some of those pesky weeds out of the way." Grabbing her pink watering can, she pointed her wand into the pail and chanted aguamenti in a clear voice. In a weird vision of paradox, a clear stream of water erupted from the tip of the blue flame of her wand trickling merrily into the watering can. Sure she could've just cast 'aguamenti' on the ground but she liked going through the processes she would've at home. Holstering her wand, she crouched again. "I'm just going to wet the ground here a bit to make it easier to take them out." she reassured the plants."No worries, I won't overdo it." Slowly she tipped the can until a gentle rain of water was falling over the soil around them. When she was satisfied it was moist enough, she knelled down this time addressing the weeds, after all they were plants too. "Listen guys I know you love it here but I'm gonna have to relocate you." Patting a few of the straggling clumps, she grabbed her small hoe. "Your sucking all the nutrients for these lovely ladies, and that is not very gentlemanly of you. Don't worry I'll take you somewhere where you can be men and grow in peace." And with that said, she began quietly singing as she gently but forcefully pulled out the weeds, placing them into the bucket. "Little bread-and-butterflies kiss the tulips And the sun is like a toy balloon There are get-up-in-the-morning glories In the golden afternoon..... " Ivory knew that many people disliked weeding but her mother had taught her that they were plants just like all the rest. Poor things, just didn't know where to grow. "There are dog and caterpillars and a copper centipede Where the lazy daisies love the very peaceful life They lead... " She lost count of the times she'd spent in the garden with her mother just relocating the weeds that had appeared among all the unique plants. Her mother had designated huge patches of nicely fertilized soil in the front lawn just for them. In fact, she'd taken such good care of the weeds that the result was more of a very green grass. "You can learn a lot of things from the flowers For especially in the month of June There's a wealth of happiness and romance All in the golden afternoon ..." After having done the entire 3 planters, she had to admit she was quite tired. "It was a pleasure attending to you." She said to the now weedless flower patches. Another breeze danced the flowers in the air and she smiled. "Yes, we must do this again sometime." Giving a little curtsy and waving goodbye she took off down the path, with every intention of keeping her promise to the weeds and finding a place on the grounds where they could grow in peace. |
OWowowow!! There were like a billion species of plants here and how could he find the cherry trees Professor Bunbury mentioned? Well, he had to examine the trees if he was intending to plant a tree, right? A baby tree indeed. So, the Gryffindor boy decided to have a walk around the Student Garden just to examine the order that went on here any maybe he could learn how to plant by observing...the plants. He halted immediately when he saw the huge lilies floating gently on slightly, beautifully waving surface of the little pod. He knew someone who loved lilies and those were amazing however there was the fact that they also looked impossible to remove and carry around without being caught. *sigh* Hmm maybe he could find a way. |
Where could she go and get maybe a moment of peace? Mina just needed a moment of her time. She would go to the Front Gate, but that would definitely the first place any of her friends would think to look for her. She wasn't exactly avoiding them, well a certain group of them yes, but the others she wasn't. She really couldn't believe the situation she had gotten herself into. She jsut needed to think everything, and she meant EVERYTHING,over in her head. So much was dropped on her in such a short time. Well a lot to the mind of a twelve-year old that is. With her bag thrown over her should, she headed for the Student Garden. She always liked it last year, maybe the flowers could possible brighten her day and she could get some thinking down. Flowers did always make her smile and maybe just being there she would able to ease her way into being one with Herbology. It wasn't as if she didn't like it, she just wasn't all that great at it and that wasn't completely unacceptable to her. At the first sight of some cherry blossoms, she smiled. Just the flowers to make her smile and forget about some of her troubles. She remembered them being in her tussie mussie last year. How things had changed so much since then. Walking around she found a brench near the pond. The lilies waving in the pond caught her attention, they did look very pretty waving about. Sitting down she pulled her journal out and glanced up for the first time. She didn't even realize she wasn't alone, as she was probably too lost in her thoughts about randomness and lessons. Blinking for a second, she just watched him. He looked familiar but again sometimes everyone she saw looked familiar to her. Sighing softly, she shrugged and looked back down at the journal in her lap. |
Quote:
Well...he was about to do it rather unwillingly when he felt someone came along. Alarm! Alarm! He did not want a professor to see he was overly examining the pond flowers for they would get suspicious immediately. Hopefully managing his balance successfully so saving himself from diving in and became another lily, he looked around and spotted the Ravenclaw girl who had been sitting on the pink bench behind him. And she looked familiar, she was...she was...called Mina as far as he could remember. Carter mentioned her with that name, right? Yes, he did. ''Sooo...'' he said turning around and taking a few steps towards her ''...Mina, right? What is it that you are reading?'' |
Quote:
Blinking in slight surprise, she closed her journal quickly. "Yeah, Mina and you are Josh, right?" She really was sure that was his name. She did have a number of lessons with him and she wasn't really that bad with names. Hands still protective over her journal, she shrugged."Reading? On nothing, just writing some things down. You know random thoughts and stuff." she laughed nervously. Random silliness that even she was embarrassed to write and secrets that she probably shouldn't even put into words. |
Quote:
''Writing things down'' he repeated slowly and looked at her face right after having another glimpse of the notebook thing. Why would someone rite down things in a Student Garden? Strange. Perhaps it was...''Ah, I see! You are writing in your diary about your boyfriend, right? Of course if you are not going to say that you are writing down the last notes that remained in your mind from the last class''...a diary. Girls did do such thnigs, did not they? |
Quote:
Shaking her head, she leaned back slightly on the bench with a slight laugh. "I still have a lot of notes from the last lesson swimming in my head, but those can wait to be written down." Lessons weren't the first things on her mind at the moment, but they weren't exactly the last either. She kind of had to solve this silly friendship with some people to deal with before she could freely do as she wanted and get back to the new normal self, she was growing to like. Glancing behind Josh, she returned her eyes to him. "So what were you just doing?" It just struck her odd to see him there now. She vaguely remembered his behaviour last term in Herbology and the thought of him here was a little strange to her now. |
Quote:
''None to write about? But you just said personal and this includes you so you kinda write about yourself. It sounded interesting to me though, personal and scientific. Especially the scientific part'' he settled down right next to her on the bench. ''But i am sure you would not want it to interest me so don't worry. I take my words of being interested back. Mmmmhmmm okay i am not interested'' Aha, if she said notes about classes could wait than it meant Ravenclaws were not all classes and books freaks as they were claimed to be. So he was about to comment on that fact when she asked what he had been up to. ''Umm...i was...bored and ended up in here while walking around. Nothing peculiar, really, like yours'' |
Quote:
"Writing about myself, you know that makes me sound vain. Which I'm not. It was mainly thoughts and ideas." she explained with a shrug. Yes, she did mention scientific. Stupid silly social experiment she was completely failing at. If she was the quitting type she would have seriously quit long ago, but the stubbornness in her held on. "It's really nothing to be too interested with. Just a silly thing that I'm doing for my cousin and her 'friend'. It's really silly considering hat they want me to do, but I won't bore you with the details." She had already told a few people about it and it was met with laughter and she wasn't in the mood to hear it again. "Well, it's a nice place to wander around. I'd personally like to wander the forest but one detention a year is more than enough for me." She did want to explore the Forbidden Forest again, but she did promise to do that with someone and wouldn't dare do it alone. |
Quote:
Then he decided to focus on Mina instead of letting his mind to wander around other thoughts since it was not making him feel so good which was the very reason he was not so enthusiastic about doing a reading for himself in Ancient Runes. The professor agreed that he could do a reading for someone else and he still had not tried it maybe he could do one for Mina here. ''You sounded like my mum'' he said with a wide smile ''She always says that to the bright mind an idea sparks in a sudden and goes away quickly if you do not write it down at that very moment.'' Ah, yes his mother and her eccentrics. He was about to ask whether she would like him to do an Ancient Runes reading for her when she spoke again so okay he'd ask later. ''The forest?'' actually that was a good, no, a great idea. His face got illuminated with the idea of walking in the forest at night. Coolness! ''I did not know there was a such place like here till Bunbury mentioned me in her office. As you said, it is nice around here but the forest is surely a better idea. There are trees, flowers and other plants in there, too, i suppose, right?'' ohh Mina got detention too? He waved his hand and laughed ''I think they need to learn it is neither appropriate nor possible to discipline stundents with Detentions in a stupid dungeon'' |
Quote:
Her eyes glanced back to the pond and focused on the lilies, a smile on her face. Ooo, pretty flowers. Hearing him mention his mother, she turned her head to look at him and let out a small laugh. "No one has ever compared me to their mother. I'm not sure how I should take that." she teased. His mum did have a good point though, it was just like that for her some times. Sometimes it was best to get write down the spark of wisdom the moment it strikes before it disappears. Smiling she let her eyes wander back to the water and lilies before her. "Yeah, you know I've always wanted to explore it and see what I could find there, but I'm thinking the risk of another detention is seriously stopping me." Seriously, the one detention she served was enough for her. It took her weeks for the song to finally leave her head. "I do like the garden, but I'm sure there is so much more in the forest, tree, flower, and plant wise." Thoughts of last year came to mind and she smiled at them. She did have last year running around looking for things for Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. Noticing the movement of his hand, she looked at him. "You're telling me. I had to burn my robes after I did my time. I only go down there for potions lessons and no other reason. But maybe that is why they hold it there, you know to try to deter us from getting in trouble and what not, right?" |
Quote:
''Oooo right you have a good point there'' Josh remarked on her ideas of the change in people as he swang back and forward on the bench for a reason even unknown to himself. Maybe it was because of his excessive energy that he could not use up so well anymore since his mother forbid him to play Quidditch, ever again then he had to quit the Gryffindor team and so on. ''At both topics, actually. I must be crazy to make my brain busy with such things but the thnigs i have seen lately make me think of these'' Yes no wonder Rose changed a lot, he did realise the change with Destiny too though they were not that close then a letter came and tell him that his mum was pregnant. Merlin! Why did not they ask him if he wanted a sibling? Obviously no one cared about his thoughts. Whatever. He joined her laughing about the comparison of his mum and Mina, he did not know Mina...yet...but in fact it looked like the only similarity between them was that they were both Ravenclaws. ''Well...i am not known uttering ordinary comments or comparisons. You might have noticed before''. So, she did not want to take the risk of suffering another detention. Quite reasonable, everybody would think that way right after paying a little visit to those dungeons bu Josh's matter was different. Since he thought his detention was unfair, he thought now he had the right to do anything that requires a detention. ''I understand. But thanks for the idea anyway, The Forbidden Forest is my next destination. Would you like me to bring you something from there?'' He he. Just to be polite and a little gentleman. ''Tree, flower, herb, fruit, the plant kind or from those much more things in the forest. A gigantic mushroom? I love gigantic mushroom and i hope there are gigantic mushrooms in the forest. That'd be lovely!'' Ooo yes the profile of a gigantic, dirty white mushroom was weirly appealing to him. Ooo mushroom! The next moment he snapped out of the idea of collecting mushroom when she voiced her ideas on the dungeons which made him nod a few times in agreement. ''Absolutely. I would prefer wetting my pants if the only toilet in school was in the dungeons.'' the Gryffindor stopped for a moment and chuckled ''Okay, i exaggerated as usual but you got the point. Yeah, the Dungeons are creepy. To be frank i feel a little bit uneasy at every Potions class. Why should it be dungeons anyway? Cannot people here mix things in a cauldron at some other place?'' |
Quote:
At hearing him talk about comments, she smiled. Even though they had never formally met, she did remember seeing him around and never once had she actually remembered him utter anything ordinary. He did always have something interesting to say, didn't he? Shaking her head, she declined. "No need, but thank you for the offer." she smiled polietly. She didn't even know what she would possible want from the forest, it had been some time since she last there and she was looking more forward to just exploring it. Great mushrooms? Really? She laughed softly at the thought. That would be funny to see though, but she really couldn't envision something like that there. Slightly lost in her thoughts, she snapped out of it with the mention of the dungeons and potions. She did enjoy potions so, even after everything that happened last year. Stupid love potions and pop quizzes. "Yeah, I get the point. The place is kind of creep-tastic, isn't it? It's so dark and dank down there, sometimes I really expect someone to jump out at me while I'm down there. It's silly I know but it's like you feel like someone is always watching you down there." She always had to check behind herself while she was down there. It was probably just paranoia getting the best of her, but the place did give her the creeps. |
Quote:
''Oh you know it!'' Josh said contently as he stared at her, smiling. ''But why should be so surprised about this? You Ravenclaws do understand everything.'' and his smile turned into a laughter. ''I know right now it has nothing to with the topic but i just felt the urge to mention this; i saw Rowena Ravenclaw's picture on a book and she was very beautiful'' Yeah, that was definitely off the topic but she should not be surprised about it since she had learned his reputation of random comments as he would not be surprised over a Ravenclaw understanding everything. Oh, she did not want anything from the forest. All right. There should have been millions of things to choose from there, though. Anyway, she did not want anything. ''Okay.'' he replied ''I was also thinking of asking a tree there for a branch, you know, for the Ancient Runes homework and i'm thinking of making wood runes. It is said that wood is the best material for the job so i would not be content with the less'' Actually he hated doing homework but this one was different. At this one he had the freedom of creativeness and this was exciting as well as alluring to him. Ah, by the way should he ask her if she wanted a reading now? Umm he could not decide. The Gryffindor boy looked at the ground for a moment, stopping swinging back and forth as she went on with the Dungeons topic and obviously she got the point again teehee. ''Right! No wonder it is. But i am feeling a little bit different than you do when in there. Its cold, damp and dark down there which is the combination that i would never be happy with so i feel supressed like if i spend too much time there i would not be able to get out and be stuck in there for good'' |
Quote:
Ancient Runes, oh yes. She still had to start on that. Wood would be the best choice, but she thought she would go a different direction. "You know that's really not a bad idea. I should have thought about that myself," she said. The assignment had all but slipped her mind, but she would definitely get started on it soon. "I as thinking of using stones for mine, I saw some pretty ones around. Maybe I'll make some wood ones later." Oh there was that overachiever in herself coming out again. "Wood is the best, but I wouldn't want to go a terrible job on them so I'll try them on stone first." Practice did make perfect. Mina made a face at the thought of being stuck down there for good. "That doesn't sound at all happy to me and I would hate that. I know I sometimes complain about being so far up in the towers, but thinking about it now, I think I prefer it to the dungeons." The more she really thought about it, she was kind of happy she didn't follow in her father's footprints and been sorted to Slytherin. She really couldn't have survived being down in the dark and dank all seven years of her schooling. The stairs didn't sound at all as bad as they sounded before. Going down there for potions was one thing, but sleeping down there was something she now knew she couldn't do. Give her the towers any day, she thought. |
Hmmm hmmm hmmmm. Humming to himself, a nameless old tune he remembered from years ago, Raiden stepped into the student gardens, his eyes automatically searching for other students. He didn't see any about, which meant that he wouldn't... have to do prefecty things, thank Merlin. He didn't feel like it today. He was actually in a decent mood and didn't want it to get spoiled. It took him a few minutes to locate a spot he liked. Next to one of the taller cherry trees, because they were starting to blossom and... well cherry blossoms smelled good. Dropping his bag on the ground next to the tree, he reached up and touched an open blossom, a smile touching the corners of his mouth at the feel of the soft little thing. Hehe. He hadn't actually been down here to see these since... he was a second or third year. |
Lina walked along, trying to think of how she was going to pull this off. How was she going to get them to Neptune? Through Raiden, of course, but she had no idea when they were planning on meeting next. The wind blew lightly through the garden and she watched as a few petals rode along it before falling to the ground. She smiled, remembering pictures of cherry tree groves in Japan, where the petal fell like snow. Under one tree she spotted Raiden. With the ears and tail, he wasn't exactly hard to recognize. She darted over to him, staying silent. She wondered if he was planning on meeting her out here. After all, she seemed like the type that would enjoy the romanticism of it. Though, the thought of Raiden and Neptune all romantic under the fall of the cherry blossoms made her stomach turn. Ick. A few feet away she stopped, smiling and speaking softly. "Hey, Raiden." |
Heh. The thing about these ears was... well Raiden could hear things better. The slight sound of footsteps didn't really pique his interest; it wasn't Neptune, that was for sure. She wouldn't bother with stepping quietly. It was probably one of the many, many students he didn't know. Or, you know, Lina. Ears perking up ever so slightly at the sound of her voice, Raiden glanced at his friend and gave her a little wave. "Oh hey. Came to look at the cherry blossoms?" He grinned. "Or are you harvesting potions ingredients?" |
"Just wandering around," she giggled. "I didn't expect to see you out here." |
"'m waiting for Neptune," he said, looking back up at the cherry blossoms. "Figured she'd like cherry blossoms, considering... And I've not been out in a while to see them either." Wandering around? Well that was better than her being cooped up in the castle somewhere. Wandering around meant that she could make more friends, granted she wandered across people. |
Excellent! This was perfect! She smiled brightly. "I've seen pictures of them from Japan, and the festivals that they have and everything. I like seeing cherry trees in bloom. I wish we could have a cherry blossom festival here... I think that would be a lot of fun! But I doubt anyone else here would think so." |
"They're a really big thing over there, apparently," he said with a nod. He hadn't been over there quite long enough to actually witness a festival, but his father had been to many. "Dad likes them... he wants to plant a cherry tree behind our house." Heh. Raiden wouldn't be home to see it bloom though. The old man would just have to enjoy it himself. "You know a lot about everything." |
She shrugged. "I just... study. A lot." She paused a moment, looking up at the tree. "Well, that's most of it. I like knowing a lot. Though, sometimes I remember things that I don't know where they came from. Like I learned it a long time ago. Maybe it's stuff I learned when I was really little..." |
From when she was little? Raiden considered this. It was possible to learn a lot of things and then forget them, he knew that. And... well the way Lina had grown up, she'd probably had a lot of chances to learn things from other people. "Hospitals have lots of different people going in and out. I guess you probably talked to them a lot and picked up a lot of stuff, maybe?" Hmmm. Would Neptune be... mad that Lina was here when she got here? Raiden glanced around, wondering where she was. |
Lina came up really close to him, nudging him a little. "Yeah, I guess." Using the opportunity, she slipped the small box of candies from her pocket and into his. "But I was thinking... Well, I don't remember anything from before I was six. Not really, anyway. I just woke up in the hospital one day... And they took care of me from there. A small group of healers became my guardians from there." She said it so casually, as though it didn't matter much to her, but there was something unsure in her voice. "They knew a lot, and as you said, a lot of patients that knew things as well. Sometimes I would get curious and look stuff up..." |
Neptune didn't much like meeting anyone. She liked to BE met. Or escorted. Or anything other than showing up to where ever Raaaaaiden wanted her to show up. But, because Neptune was sooooooooooooo kind, she did it anyway. She did so in her kitty ears, too. GIIGGLE. Her and Raaaaaaaaaiden would match! GIGGLE! He better have someTHING for HER after all this effort SHE put into HIM! "Raaaaaaaaaaaide - " she started, calling him in her usual fashion. Naturally though, she cut it off when she found that wretched dweeby know-it-all snuggled up with him. "Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me. Don't let ME interrupt!" Except, you know, TOTALLY LET HER INTERRUPT. Neptune GLARED at them BOTH. |
...Raiden took an automatic step away from Lina when she brushed up against him, not even thinking anything of it. People stood too close to him all the time lately, it had become... a terribly normal thing. Apparently not normal enough though, because before he could say anything to Lina, Neptune had shown up. And she was totally, definitely unhappy. Uh. He was in trouble, wasn't he. "Oh hey." Raiden gestured to Lina as he took another half step away from her, putting what he hoped was an acceptable space between them. "I was just waiting for you. Lina apparently likes the cherry blossoms too..." Was Neptune wearing... cat ears? Raiden's hand automatically moved to touch one of his own as he stared at the small, dark triangles poking out of her hair. |
Lina turned as she heard Neptune. Whoops! Time to... Oh dear Merlin what was she wearing? "Raiden... Are you sure you want to do this?" Well, at least that outfit looked like it would shrink with her. "She looks like a candy cane ate a cat." A very mad candy cane. "Well, I guess I should get going. Talk to you later, Raiden!" And she took off. She dashed off a decent distance, and with the two distracted with each other, she hid to watch. |
Neptune Bott would not be INSULTED by that DWEEB! She held her head high, put her hands on her hips, and gave Raiden the EXPECTANT look. The DEFEND OUR HONOR look. Defend our HONOR or we're LEAVING FOR FOREVER look. She didn't look like a candy cane cat... she looked like.... candy-coated kitten. The CUTEST candy-coated kitten in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. And Raiden Kururugi best recognize. |
Merlin, Morgana and Mordred. Raiden looked at Lina, slightly shocked and... obviously not full of glee over what she had just said. "Lina, that's really not nice at all, Neptune looks perfectly fi-" Aaaaaand she was gone. Staaaaaaaaare. Why did... girls always do this? He looked at Neptune apologetically. "I think you look cute." And she had kitty ears. Taking a step toward her, he reached out and touched one of them. It made him feel... slightly better about his own ears, that Neptune was wearing silly fake ones. "We match a bit." He didn't have a candy-cane shirt though. Heh. |
WIN. Neptune pwn'd Lina. GIGGLING, she swatted (she was a kitty, after all) Raiden's hand/paw away and ballerina twirled away from him. "How nice of you to notice, Mr. Kururugi." But he still wasn't off the hook. Noooosirreee. "What were you doing with her? She's nasty, Raiden. I do not approve of her." |
Eeep. Raiden pulled his hand back when she swatted at it, resisting the urge to laugh as she went all twirly and away from him. He stepped after her, slipping his hands into his pockets and- ... What was that? Perplexed, Raiden pulled the little box out of his pocket and stared at it. Where... had he gotten this? He couldn't even remember buying these. And how had they gotten into his pocket? He'd... washed these pants, right? He looked down at himself, as if checking to make sure there wasn't dirt on them or anything. No, he was definitely... wearing clean clothing. "Hmmm?" Raiden looked at Neptune again and shrugged. "She just happened to come along, is all. She's not nasty, she just... doesn't think before she says things." He gave the box an inquisitive shake; the candy inside rattled slightly. Not empty, then. Hmm. |
"Uh huuuuuuh." Yes. Obviously Neptune believed Raiden. Except that she TOTALLY didn't. "That's fine. I have boys that just come along from MY House, too." JUST SAYING. Neptune gave Raiden another LOOK. She fished her wand from her person and decidedly ignored Raiden in favor of making bubbles. Hmph. He was all being distracted by his candy and unrepentant for his actions with Lina. So. SHE would just IGNORE him. And make bubbles. |
lol Ama suggested the conversation heart's words. ...and the day had been going so well. Now Neptune was all surly and ignoring him. Raiden couldn't help the slight pout that appeared on his face, and he just stood there for a moment, trying to figure out how to make her not all... well anti-social with him. "Neptune it's not like that, at all." Absently, he popped open the top of the box, and his fingers dug into the little hearts inside. They were those chalky-ish Valentine hearts, the ones with little words on them. Maybe he'd bought them last month and forgotten? Maybe there was a 'Please stop being like this' heart? He poked around a bit more. Charm me, Charm me, blah blah blah... "Here." You Apparate me to the Moon would just have to suffice. Hopefully she'd just... eat it without reading it. "Please don't be mad at me?" Because he totally hadn't done anything, anyway. |
Neptune turned her nose up at him and whatever he was offering. Nope. Sorry. Not good enough. By saying "it's not like that at all" insinuates that there is an IT and well... that girl was BAD NEWS. Raiden shouldn't have ITs with HER. Ew. "I reject your offer of peace and your apology. You're being very silly for no reason at all. I mean, why did you invite me down here? So I could see you with your Slytherin friend? Well. I saw. And I don't like it." HMPPPPPHHH. |
Why would he invite anyone anywhere to see him with his friends? Raiden blinked at Neptune, completely nonplussed. How in the world did she... just... ugh. "I asked you here today, and only you, because the cherry blossoms are in bloom." He indicated the trees all around them. "I thought you'd like them." But if she was going to ruin them by being grumpy over nothing, well then. That was just not fun at all. Retracting the hand holding the little candy heart, Raiden frowned and closed his fingers around it. If she didn't want it, he couldn't make her take it. "Why would I ever do something to intentionally make you unhappy with me? That would be a bit dim on my part, wouldn't it? I don't like when you're unhappy." He didn't like when anyone was unhappy, as a general rule. He liked it far, far less when he'd been the one to make them that way. |
Ooooohhh... Lina was going to have a field day with him when she was alone with him next. The things she was going to do... He would never live this down. But Neptune hadn't taken the candy yet. Come on, Neptune! Eat it! |
Neptune turned so that her bubbles would float Raiden's way and she wasn't point blank cold-shouldering him. She OCCASIONALLY looked his way. From this angle she could see the cherry blossoms he was on about. And they WERE pretty. His questions though? Annoying. All rhetorical and meant to clear him for what he'd DONE. It didn't work for Neptune. He'd have to earn it. "You should use your kitty-claws to climb that three and shake the branches. Let the blossoms rain down on me!" She could TWIRL in them and it'd be WONDERFUL. Then, MAYBE, Neptune would befriend Raiden again. Maybe. |
Raiden looked at the young tree and almost flinched. Use his kitty claws to climb the tree, huh? Raiden looked at his very human hands for a moment before shrugging. This tree was nowhere near as tall as that one he had been stuck in, and he wouldn't even actually have to climb, as he could reach the lowest branch... "It's nice when they fall naturally," he said quietly, one hand reaching up to grasp the branch just above himself. He gave it a gentle shake, watching as a few more petals than would usually fall came loose. "If you just sit and watch them come down... it's really pretty." The box of candy was still in his other hand, along with the one heart he'd pulled out. Tucking it back into his pocket, he popped the heart into his mouth and chewed it. If she wasn't gonna eat it, well then. He would. He liked sugar. Even in... chalky form. |
What?! No no no! You're not supposed to eat them! She frowned and sat down with a little huff. She took a bag of candy from her pocket, muttering as she watched them. Darn you, Raiden! She popped a candy in her mouth, hoping that Neptune would eat one soon. At least it took a little while to work... |
"Youuuuuuu're pouting!" Neptune sang at Raiden. Because you know what? HE WAS. HE had been snuggling with Psycho!Lina, NOT Neptune. Though now she was totally thinking about going to snuggle with Kellen Stern. Hmph. Regardless, Neptune did step up underneath the tree and twirl in the falling cherry blossoms. |
Huh what hey? Raiden was not pouting! Swallowing the heart (and wishing for water), he gave the branch another gentle shake. "Are you having fun?" he asked as she twirled around in the falling cherry blossoms. It was actually really cute and if there had been a pout on his face, it was definitely replaced by the small smile that found itself there. He wanted to ask if she was going to be all meh at him for the rest of the day, but... well that would probably make her be all meh at him even if she'd decided to not be. "They're stuck in your hair..." |
"Well get them OUT!" Neptune continued to twirl, pushing up to her toes like a ballerina. GIGGLE. |
"You'd have to stop twirling," he pointed out, letting go of the branch and taking a step toward her. "I don't wanna pull your hair or anything." She'd... probably yell at him. And then she'd definitely be grumpy for the rest of the day. And Raiden did not want her to be grumpy. Because it just made everything totally not fun, and today was supposed to be a nice day. |
Neptune HUFFED at Raiden. Gah. Was nothing just simple with him? NO? You have to do THIS and you have to DO THAT. Neptune just wanted to DO what she wanted to DO and not have be TOLD all the time to do THIS and THAT. Merlin. But she did stop twirling and waited for him to fish flowers from her hair. |
Okay. Now he pouted. Raiden distinctly felt the corners of his lips take a downward turn as Neptune huffed at him. HUFFED. AT. HIM. Why was she huffing at him, he hadn't done anything wroooooong. "Why are you mad at me now?" he asked sadly as he picked blossom petals out of her hair. Because... really. Did she want him to pull her hair or something? |
Lina sat back with a huff, eating another piece of candy. Come on, Raiden! Give her a candy! She was completely oblivious to the fact that her hair seemed to be shifting. It was much more important that Neptune ate some of that candy! |
I dunno. Sounding very, very much like her mother, Neptune replied, "You're just always asking. Less asking, more DOING." Which was true of Raiden, except for that one time.... or actually, every time, he'd kissed her. EEEEEEEEEEP! She stood very still, eyes closed, with her face upturned and waiting. |
If he weren't so used to Neptune and so difficult to frustrate, Raiden probably would've gotten annoyed at her answer. Of course he asked before doing things. That was how it was meant to be. If you didn't ask, then you couldn't really be sure at all if the outcome would be okay. Case in point... "Last time I just did something," he started, slipping a hand into his pocket and silently withdrawing one of the hearts from the box. "You got upset and ran away." He put the little heart on her lips and held it there with one finger. The way she was standing, like that... well, he didn't want another repeat of that incident. Candy hearts for Neptune's lips in place of his. |
Neptune DID remember and she giggled slyly in response. Then she BIT the candy and let her tongue pull it into her mouth. "You surprised me. And.. well... I just didn't know what to do," Neptune told him, having a rare serious and sincere moment complete with the BIG EYES. |
Lina went all wide-eyed, mocking Neptune from her hiding point, mouthing, 'Oh, I just didn't know what to do!' With that she pretended to pass out with a bit of a flourish. THUD! ... What was that? She looked over to see a plant got knocked over. Whoops. She picked it back up and peeked over, seeing if they had noticed. Hopefully not. Hey, was Raiden shorter? And his ears were... smaller... She grinned. Yes! It was working! Now it was just a matter of waiting for Neptune to start shrinking. |
...hmmm? Raiden suddenly felt... slightly off. The angle that he was used to when looking at Neptune was wrong. Was she wearing those heeled shoes or something? Eh. That had to be it. He just hadn't noticed it before. He also didn't notice (not that he could) that his eyes were slowly getting darker, the green fading to the natural dark brown colour it was meant to be. "Well that's why I ask before I do things," he said, withdrawing his hand when she had eaten what it was holding there. "Because if you don't like it or something, then you might run away again." His hearing was starting to feel all muffled. And his clothes were starting to feel all baggy and looser than normal, too. What... the heck? Raiden frowned slightly and reached to touch one of his ears. |
"And you definitely don't want me to run away again," Neptune sort of asked, sort of assumed. She stuck her tongue out at him with the candy heart still on it, then she CRUNCHED it into a million little pieces. SWALLOW. "Ew. Raiden. I am disgusted with your taste in candy. It's almost insulting, all things considered." HELLO. BOTT GIRL. She was watching Raiden closely. Hmmm.... He was de-catting! |
"Of course I don't." Why did his ear feel smaller? Slightly worried, Raiden's other hand moved to touch the other. It was definitely shrunken too, and it... even felt like it was shrinking under his hand. Eyes wide, and now gone completely the colour they were before this kneazle fiasco, Raiden stared at Neptune. She was definitely getting taller. "N-Neptune?" What was going on here?! |
Neptune had NO IDEA why he was saying her name that way. She was far too startled that he was SHRINKING before her eyes to answer him. "Stop it! Whatever you're doing, stop it. You're scaring me!" That said, she took a BIG step back from him. |
"I'm not doing anything!" The voice that spoke the words was signifcantly different from what had been expected. Raiden would have been startled by it had he not realised that his pants were now so baggy they were in danger of falling off and set to worrying about that instead. His shirt seemed ridiculously oversized; one thin little shoulder was soon peeking from the neck of it, as it had slipped sideways on his too-small body as he scrambled after his pants. Even his hair had grown longer as this all happened, a slight fringe intruding onto his forehead and into his eyes as the boy gasped to breathe through his horror. Neptune was taller than him now. By quite a bit. "What is going on make it stop make it stop make it stop Merlin this is not funny-" |
"Sorry Raiden," Lina whispered with a sad smile. "But as soon as Neptune is younger than you again, I'll make sure you're alright." She watched anxiously, knowing that it wouldn't be much longer. |
Georgie made her way into the student garden, smiling at all the plants. Prof. Bunbury and those before her had done a fabulous job with this area of the school. She was surprised she hadn't come to see it before. Stupid stupid girl. But there was a specific reason she was here now. Barry. They decided to not wait for a Hogsmeade weekend and just hang out here in the garden's instead. It was alone, and it didn't seem such a hot spot, so there was no way of them being interrupted. It was perfect! She smiled to herself and kind of meandered around near the front, looking at the flowers as she waited. |
Quote:
Then having straightened his face a little, a smile just escaping he walked up to Georgie and gave her a hug. He was into hugs now. Livvy and Cela had got him into the habit. And he was sure that Georgie didn`t mind that much. "Hey" he greeted. " So how are you?" he asked. He didn`t want his girlfriend to feel upset. Love was good. Barry`d only been through two break-ups in his life but he hadn`t really gone out with either of the girls. |
Lina looked up to see two other students enter the gardens. No! Well, with any luck they wouldn't notice what was going on. As is, she was probably going to get in trouble for this little stunt. |
Quote:
Aww, he looked happy! That was good. Because she was happy as well. Like, cloud nine happy. |
ooc: I really didn`t notice Raiden and Neptune shrinking Quote:
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a girl looking at something out of his view. She was hiding. He raised an eyebrow at her. Really weird. He looked back at Georgie with a confused look on his face. |
Quote:
Hearing him, Georgie's smile grew slightly, aww! How sweet! She could feel herself blush slightly too. Urgh. She really should get over that. It'd be a little weird to be blushing around her boyfriend all the time. "Sure, I'd love to." Then, noticing his weird look, she followed his gaze to a girl hiding in the bushes. "Er, how about we go this way?" she asked, pointing in the opposite direction. The girl didn't appear right in the head. |
Quote:
Barry liked it when Georgie blushed. It meant he was doing the right thing. He wasn`t confident with the girlfriend thing yet. He nodded at her as she indicated the girl. They`d see what she was upto later anyway. They were going to walk in a circle. Holding out his hand for Georgie he started to walk. How calm it was. |
Quote:
No roses though. Please let there be no muggle roses in the garden! She realllllyyy didn't want to have to deal with one of her sneezing attacks right in the middle of their date. Embarrassing much? But the thought of roses made her chuckle, the scene from DADA popping into her mind. She and Allison owned. |
Quote:
Neptune was going to HIT RAIDEN for scaring her and shrinking! Then she was going to march upstairs and throw the bracelet he'd given her OUT OF THE Tower window! HMPH! Or, she would have had she not... started to feel tingly. And smaller. As if on cue, Neptune BURST out into tears. "I don't want to die!" Cause obviously that was what was happening. |
Ick... They noticed her! Great... The cat ears she hadn't even noticed she had twitched. It was a strange feeling, but she waved it aside as she concentrated on trying to find a new place to spy on her victims. She looked around, then settled on trying to crawl away from the new students and still stay hidden from her subjects. And then Neptune started crying... Yup, she was caught. |
Quote:
Ooh a cherry tree! It wasn`t season yet but he wanted to go try anyway. He broke away from Georgie and went to pick a handful. He returned and offered them to her before poping one in his mouth. Ehh it was sour. Cherrys were supposed to be sweet. Barry hadn`t even noticed that they`d already walked a 1/4 of the way around the garden. It was small |
Quote:
Neptune was... shrinking... too... Oh Merlin. Right when Raiden's body had apparently decided it was done (and had reduced his height by nearly half), Neptune's decided to start as well. "It... stopped... I think," gasped the juvenile voice. Neptune was crying. Cryiiiiiiiiing. But Raiden was too busy trying to breathe (and keep his far too large pants held up) to worry very much over it. "We're not dying Neptune! Don't think like that, it... it'll be okay..." Right. They just had to go... to the nurse or something. She would know. Raiden took one tiny step toward Neptune and managed to fall, the overly large shoes on his feet getting in the way. ..Sniffle. |
Satisfied, Lina stood from her hiding place and made her way over to the couple, a cruel smile across her features as she watched Neptune. "Enjoy the candy?" She chuckled, facing Neptune, who was finally shorter than Lina. "Hello, dear. Miss me?" She knelt by Raiden and helped him up. "Sorry, Raiden," she said softly, an ear twitching and sincerety in her eyes. It was then that it occured to her: She knew this boy! She blinked a moment, stunned, tilting her head and looking him over. He looked younger now, than she remembered him, but it was close enough. "Rai?" |
Quote:
Georgie tilted her head as he ran for a cherry tree, before coming back and offering her some. She took one and popped it into her mouth. EEP! It was super super sour! Wow, and already they'd walked a good length of the yard. And suddenly, her eyes spotted roses. CRAP! Georgiana sneezed and rolled her eyes. "Dammit." |
Quote:
Barry still kept eating the cherrys. They were incredibly sour but at the same time he liked them. Then Georgie sneezed "Are you alright?" he asked |
Quote:
And then he was asking about her sneeze and she chuckled, "I'm fine.Allergies. I'm actually allergic to roses." which was weirddd! Good thing her favorite flower was the carnation. |
Neptune was knee-high to a grasshopper. Her little hands were pudgy, as was most of her body. Her hair lost all the tameness, and the curls were undeniably out of control and covering her whole head - particularly since her cat ears had fallen off. She was looking all of three, maybe four years old inside her dress that looked more like a tent now. HUGE tears were pouring down her face when Lina stepped out and said... something. Neptune was FAR too busy having a CRISIS to pay her ANY attention at ALL. She was going to RUN AWAY from them ALL, but like ickle Raiden, she tripped on her far too large shoes and toppled over. And then she started screaming. High pitched, toddler in CRISIS-mode, SCREAMS. |
Quote:
Quote:
Barry calmed down. "Oh ok. I feel kinda lucky. I don`t have any allergies" well that he knew of. Barry walked a bit faster until they were away from the roses. He didn`t like swelling and stuff. Then someone started screeming. It wasn`t even Georgie. " Who is that?" he asked knowing that Georgie probably didn`t know either. |
Quote:
She chuckled hearing him, "It's definitely a hassle. But it's not horrible, I only go into a sneezing attack." But it definitely sucked. And then she heard screaming as well, and looked towards him worriedly. "I don't know. Should we go check it out?" Of course they should! |
Too many things. Neptune was screaming, Lina was here and helping him up and his pants were getting away from him again and he couldn't breathe and his shoes were too big and he'd FALLEN DOWN and... and... Raiden's lower lip wibbled unashamedly. "I wanna go HOME why do weird things keep happening to me!" The five year old-sized prefect cried, plopping down on his butt, wrapping his arms around his knees, and burying his face away in the sea of oversized shirt sleeves. He was obviously completely rational at the moment. |
And... now they were both crying. Well, there was an easy way to deal with one of them. She pulled her wand and cast at Neptune. "Silencio!" Then she turned back to Raiden. He was... He was that boy! She remembered peeking into his room quite often. He was usually asleep, but every so often he would be talking to one of her guardians... Oh! Maybe that was it! She smiled softly to him, taking a little hand. "Now now, Raiden... M-- Kaydy wouldn't want to see you crying like this, would she?" |
Quote:
"Sorry. I didn`t know" Barry said feeling foolish, he was so stupid thinking she would die from smelling roses. But back to the screaming girl. "Yeah I think we should" Then not wanting to strain Georgies hand he let go and walked quickly towards where he`d heard the screams coming from, earning a few scars on the way. It was a four year old. A kid. They didn`t let children go to hogwarts. And she was next to another kid. With a prefect badge. They were both with that girl that they`d seen. He thanked the girl for screaming. Otherwise they might never have come. But something had happened. Her mouth moved but nothing came out. What? He looked towards the other girl, "Tell me what happened" he asked the normal sized girl. Maybe it wasn`t her fault. |
*CAUGHT!!* She looked back at the boy who'd approached them, then back to Raiden under the pretense of trying to calm him down. She gave him a pleading look. Don't tell them, she thought, as though he could hear it. She looked back to the other boy again, somewhat sheepishly but still confident. "Oh, it's nothing. Don't worry about it. I've got a handle on them." Please, Raiden, go with me on this one, just for a little bit! |
Quote:
She shook her head, "It's not a problem. I didn't tell you. So how would you know?" she smiled at him before following, running after him and spotting to kids. Wait, kids!? What the hell!? The cut of age was 11! These two were definitely not 11. And then some girl was saying she had it under control. Georgie snorted. "The hell you do! This one is still crying her eyes out!" she replied crouching down beside the screaming little girl. "Shh, it's okay." And here she was focusing on the boy, who looked oddly familiar...why did he look familiar? |
Lina rolled her eyes. "She's always a little drama queen brat bot! Of course she's crying her eyes out." ... Smooth, Lina. Her ears pressed flat against her head in annoyance. What were these kids doing here?! Oh right, student gardens. "Anyway, go mind your own business!" |
Touzy's at class now, for another 3-4 hourssssss. Raiden was NOT coming out of his shirt. No. Never. Shaking his head, even as Lina took his little hand, he mumbled and sniffled his refusal into his arms. Neptune had gone silent, which didn't make the situation any better but certainly made it quieter... "I - don't - wanna - be - li- iii- iit- tleeeeee." The words that were distinguishable between the little gasps for air were hopelessly stretched. He was just going to go on with his disbelieving crying until... Raiden's little face, tears smudged all over it, appeared from the sea of sleeves, watery eyes on Lina. His arms were still clenched tightly around his knees, his posture unchanged, but he was at least looking at her. He rubbed his forehead against his knees to get his longish mop of hair out of his face. "You- you know Miss Kaydy?" The little voice asked hesitantly. Oh great. More people were here. Glancing at Neptune, who was apparently also teeny tiny and adorable, Raiden buried his face again, hiding in embarassment. "It's fine go away please we're okay." Oh the lies. One arm, hand engulfed in sleeve, reached out blindly to see if it could reach Neptune. |
Darn! She smiled softly to Raiden, brushing some of his hair out of his face. "Yeah... She's one of my guardians. Kinda like my mom, actually." She pulled her wand again and shrunk his clothes a little, not daring to shrink them too far until he had a chance to pull his pants up a little. "There, that should be better." She tucked her wand away and sat kneeling in front of him. "I remember... You were at St Mungo's, weren't you? I remember seeing you a few times. One time I peeked in looking for mama, and you two were talking. And you were kinda smiling, though you looked really nervous. I can't believe... I really didn't realize it was you!" |

Barry took a seat on the floor next to the babys. He had a feeling this was going to take a while |
Part of Raiden kept insisting he stop crying and act like an adult. He was 16, even if he had somehow gotten himself shrank to... this. Even if he was in a familiar, yet somehow completely foreign body right now, he was still sixteen years old. However, most of him just wanted to throw a tantrum right now. He was a PREFECT and nobody was listening to him! It had been bad enough to be disrespected because of the kneazle ears, but now everyone had ANOTHER reason to not listen to him. "I said GO AWAY," the squeaky little voice yelled petulantly. What was the point of him having the badge if nobody cared to listen to him? The little boy took a deep breath, barely noticing when his clothing started shrinking. There were too many people and too much going on and he did NOT want to be small. ... Miss Kaydy was Lina's MUM? "She was my Healer person a lot... I was there a lot." Wait. Neptune. Rubbing his eyes, Raiden looked toward her. "Neptune's..." Turning himself onto his knees, Raiden crawled toward her. These arms and legs were too short, it was hard to get used to. Reaching her, he knelt next to the girl and touched her shoulder. "Neptune?" |
Well, that was more to discuss later. She pulled her wand again and unsilenced Neptune so that Raiden could deal with her. After all, Lina was not about to be nice to the spoiled little brat. |
