Kellen got up from where he was sitting and started looking around for Neptune. Hopefully she was just in her dorm room, and not wandering the castle still. Or one of the ones hurt... He shook the pessimism out of his head. |

As Phoebus walked over toward him...or what he thought was Phoebus he tried to look up but regretted it. Seeing something come in front of his face...he frowned thoughtfully.... Well he said they were fingers but all he was seeing was a giant blur. Let's see...two would be to simple...if he were doing it he'd hold up his hole hand but the thumb doesn't count as a finger. He had to stop himself from giggling at his joke, "Four." He said confidently, but it was an utter lie as he trying to hide the unsureness of his answer as well. Quote:

She hadn't heard him at first, she was too busy laughing. Glad Maura was also, she didn't want to look out of place, all the stares. She couldn't do! So natually she was paying attention to what was going on around the common room. All the other students talking had been background music. The sudden raised voice made her jump, and completely stop laughing all together. Bella had whipped around to find the source of the noise, which had destroyed her moment of laughter. She didn't feel like laughing now, all the fun had gone. She felt sick after hearing what was said. She couldn't believe it! Why would someone do it! WHY!! She shouted in her head. She felt tears in her eyes. She didn't even know the person, but she or he, She didn't even know what sex!, but the prefect in general [C]had[/C] still is a student. She hated who had done this, she truely did. Bella looked over at her friends, to see there reactions. |

However, relief was also abundant in Phoebus because at least Adrienne was here. Now all he had to do was keep her around and not let her out of his site, and everything would be fine. " yeah, that's what Miles is saying. Which...that's sort of crazy." He said. Concern for Cela was now taking precedence since he'd found and accounted for Adrienne. Yeah, it was a lockdown, but with Miles acting like he'd gone a little crazy, it looked like for now it was up to Phoebus and Adrienne to get things under control. He looked over at Adrienne and sighed. " I think we do need to take him to the hospital wing." He glanced at Miles, dark eyes unsure as they took in the prefect. " Miles...I know you say you're fine, but you're acting really weird and you look a little crazy," Phoebus said. Might as well be honest, right? " So...we're going to try and take you to see Healer Ashford, because...if you're ill you can't do your job." He spoke almost as if dealing with a crazy person, which...he kind of felt like he might be at this point. |

Which brought her back to the male prefect and her friend, and Phoebus was so right. He needed attention of the kind Healer Ashford could give. But first they had to get him there. "Okay, Miles. I'll help with the lockdown," she said, trying to calm him down a little. "You're not by yourself, and you should have known you weren't anyway." There was always her and Livvy, beyond Cela. And that started her wondering where the Head Girl was, in fact. But they needed to get Miles to not spaz. And this looked way beyond chocolate, although for one crazy moment she thought about trying to search the prefect's pockets for some. He usually had it, she knew. "We need you not panicking, though. Phoebus is right, you can't do your job if you stay like this." Next step was going to be either stunning him or petrifying him, if they couldn't talk him into letting them take him down to the hospital wing. But she sincerely hoped it wasn't going to come down to that. |
Miles shook his head and backed away from the two blobs. "No! No I don't want to go! She'll give me drugs. Drugs make me go bad..." he pressed his hands to the side of his head and rocked slightly. "My head...its going to explode...I can't." He closed his eyes, squeezing them hard, "Hearing things....voices.....me...." he started babbling not making any sense at all. He needed to stop his head from hurting though cause it just kept getting worse and worse. |

Later, Phoebus would be rather surprised at how well he reacted under pressure since usually he was the one who bent and broke when pushed. However, now he just knew that Miles needed help, and it was too bad if they had to break the lockdown rule to get him help. He gave Adrienne a small smile as she voiced her agreement, then turned back to Miles. He had his wand in his hand now, ready to Stun or otherwise immobilize Miles if he seemed like he'd hurt himself. " She won't give you anything but a potion, " Hopefully a STRONG calming draught, " And help you. if your head hurts that much, somethings wrong. I cant' fix it, Adrienne can't...and you can't. We're just going to help. I promise Healer Ashford is NOT going to hurt you," He said, his tone of voice growing more concerned as Miles started babbling more and becoming even more incoherent. |
I have Cinn's permission Adrienne listened as Phoebus continued on her tack of trying to convince Miles to let them take him to Healer Ashford. The common sense was there, and she agreed with the idea that neither of them could help him. She'd pretty much been told that by Healer Ashford when she'd gone to the Hospital Wing about her fingers. Besides, she didn't have any calmin draughts on her, strong or otherwise, and even if she did, her dismal Potions skills meant it probably wouldn't help anyway. "Miles. Think about it. You're letting your panic get to you. Healer Ashford doesn't have drugs. She's here to help you, not hurt you," she said, continuing her boyfriend's speech. "We can't help you in here, and all you're doing is making the rest of us worry even more. You're prefect, you're supposed to set an example, and right now we need that." Especially the younger students who were starting to notice. As she noticed Phoebus had his wand out, she finally picked her own up from near her pygmy puffs and sighed as Miles started backing away and babbling about voices in his head. There were two things she could do with that, and neither one seemed like the best idea, given the circumstances. But at least one idea was, well, slightly less intrusive if not better for both him and her. Glancing at Phoebus once again, she took a breath before returning her attention to the panicking prefect. "I'm sorry, Miles. We just want to help you," she said to him, pitching her voice so it could be heard by the two boys but not everyone else in the room. Although she hoped what she was going to do didn't cause any more chaos, they didn't really have much choice. Not if Miles was going to continue to argue. And then she pointed her wand, casting a nonverbal Stunning spell at the prefect. |

Emily's eyes widened as the lockdown message was spread to the common room. "L-lockdown?" Emily said and sat on the floor on her knees next to the people she had addressed. "Are... are we in danger? what's going to happen?" Emily asked then, she was getting scared. The only time she had heard about lockdown was when her mother would read her history books about deatheaters attacking the castle. |

Phoebus was quite thankful that Adrienne did the Stunning, only because he felt Miles might better react later when he realized it had been Adrienne who'd done it. As soon as he fell over, PHoebus rushed to catch him. " Man. He's wiry but heavy," He said, flicking his wand up and casting a silent hovering charm on him. " Just to be safe," He said to Adrienne and then used another silent spell to conjure up some...well it was supposed to be rope, but it was more like cord, oh well it would just simply have to DO. " Just so if he wakes up, he doesn't go crazy and hurt himself." He explained as he tied hsi hands and legs together. " I guess....let's go," he said, using his wand to direct the unconscious Miles out of the room. |
As her Stunning spell hit and Miles slumped over, unconscious, Adrienne felt a wave of sympathy for him. Both because he had been dealing with all the stress that had made him spaz out like that and because things had transpired for her to need to Stun him in the first place. But he really needed to see Healer Ashford, and that was easier than tackling him. Watching as Phoebus went over and caught him, she shrugged as she turned to scoop her pygmy puffs up, slipping them into her school bag which had been discarded before she'd even gone up to play with them. If they were bringing Miles to the Hospital Wing, she wasn't about to leave her pets on the chair, or taking the time to bring them back to the dorm. They were probably already breaking rules, if they were indeed supposed to be staying in the tower, so she figured she had nothing to lose. Turning back to the boys as she slipped the strap of the bag over her shoulder, she blinked as Phoebus tied Miles up. "You don't think he'll go crazy if he wakes up to find he's got ropes around his wrists and ankles?," she asked, completely ignoring the assumption her spell wouldn't hold. She was fairly certain it would, although she was thinking she'd need to reverse it before the healer saw Miles, but things were so crazy right now she wasn't sure of anything. "Okay, let's go," she agreed then, glancing around at the others in the common room as she then followed Phoebus out. She just hoped there weren't going to be too many questions to answer at the end of this. |

"I dont know Scarlett, it just all seems so unreal to me. Why would someone do that to a student?" She said looking at all her friends. Quote:

"Right now it's hard to think straight, I'm just so scared, and confused." Emily said. She knew that if she kept talking it might keep her from fainting, so she decided to try and keep a conversation. |
Bella chuckled, "Dont worry Emily, Im bad with times also" She smiled at the girl and looked round the common room again. Looking back she said, "You alright?" The girl did look a bit faint, she was afraid she would faint on her! |

Bella went to kneal down next to Emily and rubbed her back, "Me too Emily, me too" She said, hoping to ease the girls thoughts, she was telling the truth, even the thought of her parents brough tears to her eyes. She smiled down at her friend weakly. |
Damon was once again in the common room. He was wanting to work on his runes homework and so he had everything he would need for that of course. Damon had just been in the great hall but had had very little to eat still studying came first in this case. He sang a tune silently to himself as he worked. He had noticed the many things that were going on around the school. |

Smile. She skipped over and sat down next to Damon. "Hey!" she sang. "You're singing!" she pointed out. Bonnie smiled and hugged him. She then pointed out an answer to him quietly. "How've you been?" she asked, laying her head on his shoulder for a second, kinda afraid to go more then a second. Damon REALLY liked to take things slow. Which dissapointed her a bit. |

"It's ok Emily, were sorta on the same page. Family troubles" She smiled weakly and whipped her eyes. Sitting down again she look around the common room, which still looked like it was shut down. Shaking her head at whom would do something so mean! She thought of something to say. |
After making her way back up to the seventh floor from the half-destroyed fifth floor corridor, Adrienne slipped through the door to the common room and was relieved to see her theory that it would be half deserted was apparently true. Sighing a little, both in relief and because of the mood she was in, she walked across the room, heading for one of the comfy chairs near one of the fireplaces. It wasn't so much like the fire was needed, but at least she could focus on something while she pondered everything that had gone on. Not to mention how she still didn't understand how she'd managed to get through it reasonably unscathed, if not ignored. Sitting down once she got to the chair, she pulled her legs up in front of her, examining the scrape on her knee idly. As she thought, it wasn't bad at all, and after nonverbally cleaning of the tiny amount of blood, she wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her chin on her knees, staring at the fire as she tried not to think about what she'd basically only been witness to. |
