He gawked at the girl as she came to stand before him and then shook his head to clear his senses. "H-hey there Thal." Jude stuttered out as he looked his girlfriend up and down. "How are you?" he asked, reaching out for her hand.

Thalia giggled at his dumbstruck face. "My coat's in my bag so don't worry about me. I won't freeze," she explained to him. But she was hot right now and the cold didn't bother her very much.

"I'm good though." She took her wand out and tapped her coat with it. It turned into a green pea coat. She put it on. "Simple transfiguration," Thalia said with a smile. Her bag was in fact her coat. Thalia was worried Jude would be concerned if she hadn't done this.

Jude smiled as the girl transfigured her purse into a jacket, relieved that she would be sensible enough to bring one on such a blustery day. "Well are you ready for a day of fun and excitement?" Jude asked as he continued to smile. His hand felt for the box that was in his pocket, a surprise for Thalia later.

"I sure am," she nodded. Little did he know that Anna and her had spent almost two hours putting clothes on and then taking them off and redoing her little make up she decided to wear. A lot of effort had been put into her. Not tons. The veela charm did it's thing. "So what do you have planned first?" Thalia asked him.

"I was thinking we can take a walk to the Three Broomsticks and start off with a little snack and a drink?" he asked with an arched brow, hoping that the girl wouldn't find the idea lame, but want to do things that he did. Jude continued to smile kindly, hoping that today would indeed be special.

"I'm always up for a butterbeer," she nodded with a smile. She had secretly drank a little firewhiskey one night at a friend's house. She knew she was never going to do that again. She was hoping to go to Three Broomsticks anyhow. "Lead the way sir," Thalia teased.

The weather was good. And Vida was in great mood too. So everything was perfect. Perfect day altogether. She took the extra pair gloves from Ty, "Yeah, I love winters. It gives you an opportunity to play with snow and some extra time for cozy sleep, really.." she giggled, and pulled on the kinda bigger size gloves. "Thanks Ty, you're so kind, " she admired him.

"It's okay. I like his straightforwardness" she grinned and walking down on the street, regretting for not wearing her fav. hand knotted feather stole.

Jude grinned happily as he wrapped his arm around the young girl's waist, and led her from the street and into the warmer looking pub. 'This is going to be fun.' he thought to himself.

Stepping out from that stuffy bar place was like a relief. They were finally going to be able to breathe in some fresh air and not snorting in all the dust from who knows what year. Probably the same century Hogwarts was built in.

Miranda turned to Oliver with a small smile, wondering where they should go now. They had indeed said they were going to get some CHOCOLATE! but they were also going to check is there was any Quidditch supplies around. "So...where to?" She asked, putting on her yellow mittens.

"How about we go see if they have any gloves?" She pointed at the direction of Gladrag's, and then turning to see what Oliver would say.

noodles 02-18-2010 02:13 AM

Ah ha! Freedom!

The Scotsman in Oliver wanted to go all Braveheart and start yelling about being free, but he refrained from doing so. The sugar in the butterbeer was obviously making him a little woozy.

He had a funny, sort of mischievous smirk on his face when Miranda turned to look at him and his eyes were a bit manic. He was looking up the street eyeing the shops on the main road. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked down at the little huffie as she put on her mittens. Mittens. o.O Aww.. what was she? Like five? heh. Nevermind.

“Glovessssss.. Chyeah.. that sounds gooddd!” He nodded quickly, resisting the temptation to twitch again thanks to all that sugar. He hit her shoulder playfully with his hand. “How about I race you, slowpoke.” And before she could reply, he was off! At lightning speed he began to peg it down the street towards the Quidditch shop like a small child running to a toy shop to meet Santa.

Oh .. he was so going to win this.

Luna Laufghudd 02-18-2010 02:23 AM

ROFL! xD

Miranda's hand hovered a moment, still pointing, and she narrowed her eyes slightly at him. What's with the smirk?

Well, he seemed awfully excited about getting the mittens, and Miranda assumed that since it was indeed Quidditch related, it was obvious since the sport brought oh so much joy! Her face became impassive as Oliver playfully slapped her arm. What the- Errr. Now hold on a minute. Race? No, no no NO. Miranda did not run... She get to tired!

But, he was away as she opened her mouth to talk, and her eyebrows rose in suprise at the quickness of the boy. Whoa, he was FAST!
"Ol- OLIVER! Waaaait!" Huff! And off she went, running behind him, trying to catch up.

She stumbled, but quickly regained her balance, but when she looked up again, Oliver had dissapeared from her sight. FAST!!!

noodles 02-18-2010 02:43 AM

Oliver was on the main street again in no time. He came to an abrupt halt as he almost ran into a couple of students. Giving them an innocent smile, he glanced over his shoulder expecting Miranda to be right there... but she was miles back! He grinned and then started to sprint again, only stopping as he almost skidded into the window of Gladrags. He held out his hands and pressed his palms to the glass to stop himself from slamming right into it.

He peered in the window, hands still pressed against the glass as he tried to see if they had any Quidditch stuff. His breath steamed up the window as panted a little with the exertion of running like that. Since he came to Hogwarts he had got lazy – there was no muggle sports to partake in and the only energetic thing he did was Quidditch. Not enough for one as twitcy as Oliver.

He slowly straightened up and looked back to see Miranda getting closer.. rather slowly. “COME ON, RAT GIRL!?" He yelled in her direction and beckoned her with his arm. “I'VE SEEN FASTER SNAILS THAN YOOOU!” He playfully taunted her very loudly and very obnoxiously. Sheesh.. for a Captain she was kinda unfit.

He started jumping up and down like an excited child as he waited for her to catch up.

Weeeeeee! Suuuuuuuuuugar!

So much energy to burrrrn the hell offff!

Luna Laufghudd 02-18-2010 02:56 AM

Where the flappers had he gone- WAIT! There he was! Nooo, it couldn't be him? Pant. No, wait. Yup it was him, there was no misstaking that curly hair. But what was he doing? It looked like he was pressing his nose against the glass, like little kids did.

Huffing her way closer to the twitchy boy, Miranda was soon to hear his little...callings, and she couldn't do much but give passers-by an akward smile at the wonderful nickname Oliver had for her everyone was obviously hearing. "Sush, Ollie!" She scrunched up her face at his annoying way but was soon close enough to poke him. But the way he was jumping up and down made her loose focus.

"Oh, okay... Yaaay.. jumping..." She smiled akwardly again, wondering why Oliver suddenly decided to start jumping around. Well, he was probably happy. Hehe.

Catching her breath, the Captain finally asked the boy if he wanted to go inside. "Did you see anything interesting while you left your face print on the window?" Pheeeew! She could use some chocolate!

noodles 02-18-2010 03:10 AM

"Enjoy your run, ratty?" A grin spread across Oliver's face when Miranda told him to shush.. just like his mum.. ah-gain. “Sorry.. Did I embarrass you there, luv?” Yeah cos that was the point of all that yelling. Oh dear.. see this was why he stayed away from Butterbeer – doctors orders!

He ceased his insane jumping around and placed his hand over his heart. “I shouldn't have drunk that.” he said blinking as his eyes filled with yellow sugar induced dots. But it was free, you know? He wasn't going to pass up the opportunity for anything free even if it made him ill.. which he would be tomorrow.

He glanced at the imprint of his face on the window and smirked. “Nope. Jus' a load of old ladies giant knickers.” He shrugged. “Shall we go in and ask? Cos they may have them hidden behind the counter." Or something.

Luna Laufghudd 02-18-2010 03:20 AM

Ratty? Her mouth showed her upper teeth as she made a face. That name sounded meaner than his usual 'Rodent' one. Pout. Miranda didn't answer him, but kept looking at the boy. Maybe all this fresh air was making his brain go into overdrive, tough, really, he was usually this strange most times.

"What?" Drunk what? Did he drink something weird!? All Miranda knew, was that he had only drunk the butterbeer, but what if he got something else to drink? "What do you mean, Oliver? Did you drink something else than the buterbeer?" Ooooooooh, maybe they were REALLY past their best-before date.

Heh. Giant knickers. Allrighty then, guess they wouldn't be going in there- "Yeah, sure. Let's go." Miranda nodded and smiled, gesturing for him to take the lead.

noodles 02-18-2010 12:38 PM

What was she doing with her teeth? Heh. She looked even more like a rodent when she did that. Refraining from commenting no matter how tempting it was, he crinkled his nose at her question. Drunk what indeed? Did she have amnesia? “The butterbeer, remember, sillykins?” He tappy tap tapped on her forehead lightly with his fingers. “It... sort of... does things to me.” he explained. Like made him wanna bounce of the walls and climb up trees. Weeeeeee! He did twitch this time, then bit down on his bottom lip hard. He had to work this energy off.

He looked up ... appearing to be sizing up the wall of the building. He frowned thoughtfully – yep.. it was certainly possible. Looking back at Miranda, he adopted an expression of complete innocence. Curls and cuteness – he could do angelic so well – it was a shame Miranda knew exactly what he was like. “Come on then.” He wandered towards the shop door and opened it for Miranda. “Rrrrrrrrrats before beauty.” He winked. Teh heh.

Luna Laufghudd 02-18-2010 03:01 PM

The butterbeer? Errr. "Why-" Miranda slapped his twitchy fingers away from her forehead. Gah! It was so annoying when he did that! "Stoppit!" Huff. It did things to him... "Like what?" She frowned, confused, waiting for him to answer. What kind of more weirdness was he going to do now? "Do you start twitching more than usual when you drink butterbeer?"

What the!? Did he just twitch? The Captain pursed her lips and her eyes grew wide, making the brows shoot up. Sure, the nickname for him was sort of jest... Miranda hadn't actually seen him twitch until now. But then Oliver seemed to look all calm and not twitchy now, and that made Miranda narrow his eyes at him. "Allright...easy there, now..."

Okay, so they were going inside. Hopefully there would be some Quidditch stuff in there. She was way to focused on the boy and his sudden moves to roll her eyes at his chivalry. She walked towards the door but gave him a poke on the stomach at his little comment. "Watch it, Curly!" Poke. And then she hurried inside into the shop.

noodles 02-18-2010 05:57 PM

With a grin and a naughty chuckle he withdrew his fingers when she slapped at them. It was so easy to get on this one's nerves. He shrugged at her question, stuffing his hands in his pockets to stop himself from fidgeting in that twitchy ADHD boy high on sugar kind of way.

He looked puzzled and a little displeased by Miranda's choice of words to describe him. But.. yeah.. he supposed that she was right even if that wasn't the correct medical terminology. He nodded quickly, his eyes darting back and forth as people passed them. “Twitchy? Yeah. I'm ok usually but I think butterbeer has a reh-heally high sugar content.” He didn't notice the eye narrowing from Miranda when he twitched. “IhaveADHD.” He said quickly. “That's what the muggle doctor said it was called. I shouldn't drink butterbeer.” There. Said. Would she understand him a little better now? Hmm.. Oliver was guessing, no.

He looked at her when she told him to 'take it easy' in so many words. She should try taking it easy when she felt high as a kite. He raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything.

He smiled cheekily and feigned pain, clutching his belly, when she poked it. He didn't exactly have much flesh in that area.. or anywhere else for that matter to protect him. He prodded her in the shoulder in return. “Do you need anything in here, Hufflepuff? We'll get that chocolate I promised you after this.” Cos she was a sport.. putting up with him when he was in such a craaazy hyper mood.

Luna Laufghudd 02-18-2010 10:03 PM

Miranda took a deep breath, trying to resist the urge to massage her previously tapped-on forehead. Okay, the twitchyness thing was sort of a joke which Miranda had no clue could actually be a part of something real for this boy. She saw his eyes moving fast at the people around them, and yeah, she could totally imagine that butterbeer had ALOT of sugar - it was probably why all the kids liked it so much. But she kept her mouth closed and simply watched the boy.

And then he spoke REALLY fast, wether it was because he was more hyper now or because he didn't really want to say it, she didn't know. Her lower lip jutted out and one eyebrow arched at his speed-talking. What? He had... what? AHDHE? No...that couldn't be right... AD...HD? Oooh. Miranda's face turned into one of mellowness. "Oh, I see... So does that include candy? And chocolate?" Yikes, Oliver did not have it easy. Before this turned into a bummer of a situation, and that might be hard considering how happy Oliver seemed, Miranda tried to lighten up the air with one of her stupid jokes. But then she narrowed her eyes at him. "So... Not only do I have to keep you from breaking one of the Womping Willows arms, I also have to keep you from drinking high sugary drinks...?" After a short moment, she winked at Oliver. Ofcourse, she'd look after him...like always. Wether he wanted it or not. Hehe. Not that he needed to be taken care of, tho, he seemed more than capable to handle himself.

Her lips curled into a smile as she saw him joking about the poking. When he poked her shoulder, she turned to face him. "Erm, I could use a new pair of Chaser gloves...if they have any. But other than that, no." Aw, he could really be sweet, this boy. "Don't worry about it," OH she REALLY wanted the CHOCOLATE! "...but OKAY!" Grin.

Hmmm... maybe they had some sugar free yummy chocolate...

"Ahh.." Rue Everdeen sighed as she walked up the large street to Three broomsticks. In her hands she carried a large cage (Inside was a beautiful snowy owl) and a box filled to the brim with sweets. She was christmas shopping. She let out a puff of warm air as it mixed with the cold around her. She decided to go to the little tea shop ahead of her on the oncoming street.

Parker decided to go to Hogsmeade on impulse. It was cold out, but he couldn't seem to find anything to do inside. He was probably the only person in the whole castle to not visit the village. Hands deep in his pockets, because he forgot his gloves, Parker made his way to somewhere warm.

Almost at the Three Broomsticks, he stopped when he noticed a familiar Gryffindor walking with what looked like an owl. "Rue? What are you doing?" he asked when he caught up to her. "And why do you have an owl?"

PhoenixRising 02-19-2010 04:54 AM

Sniffle.

Wandering out into the bright streets, Aaron squinted down the cobblestone. He just wanted to go back to Hogwarts and curl up with a good book or something. No, not really, because he couldn't read. It was that feeling of guilt or something in his stomach ... of sadness. Because he WAS sad and he'd made his two newest friends sad too; that is if he could consider Dylan a friend. Dylan Denver. That last name was ANNOYINGLY familiar.

Sighing, Aaron just continued to shuffle along the streets, not even noticing the people there. The shops. He wanted sleep. Badly. Actually no, he just wanted to sit down in the middle of the street and just gaze into the BRIGHT sunlight.

Which is exactly what Aaron proceeded to do at that moment, right past the Three Broomsticks, he just laid down in the middle of the street and squinted into the bright lights.

Lockhartian 02-19-2010 05:05 AM

Whistling, whistling, whistling. And a very happy mood to make a good company of the whistling situation.

That was Treyen. At the moment.

He was somewhat happy to be out of Hogwarts for some time, even if he SHOULD be taking that time to walk around the school, so he wouldn't get lost never again, BUT...Hogsmeade. Here's never gone to Hogsmeade. Well, not never, since he was IN Hogsmeade NOW.

People were busy. Talking. Shopping. Sitting in the middle of the street staring at--WHAT?! Ooooh, what's he looking at?! Probably something exciting in the sky! The moving Lockhart stopped his walking, and his whistling, and eyed the sky. What a disappointing sight, there was nothing exciting in there except the usual.

"Rose! Where have you been?! Have you gotten lost in Hogsmeade as I have been gotten lost in Hogwarts?" he asked, standing in front of his fellow Hufflepuff. The one who'd once called him 'Mate' the first time they met. And what a misunderstanding that was!

"Are you seeing Threstals in the sky? Because I can see nothing else but the sun, which is not a bad sight if it didn't hurt my eyes, but if you're seeing Threstals, then tell me what they look like, because I cannot see them" he started to explain, gesturing towards the sun and the sky in general. The golden brown hair looking a bit more golden thanks to the sun.

"I guess an early christmas present won't do any harm." She smiled. The beautiful owl was speckled with brown spots nd was a creamy white. "I hope you like it. Hey, do you want to go to three broomsticks? It's freezing out here!"

How was your school in France? Ty hope he wasn't being rude asking but he was curious how other school were. Ty was sure no school could be as good as Hogwarts.
