Main Street, Hogsmeade Meet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, browse the windows of the shops as you pass by, interact with students from other houses, and just have fun in the streets of Hogsmeade. |
Alexandra went trotting down the street in Hogsmeade, trying to figure out where she wanted to visit first. It was in fact her first solo trip into the village and it seemed to be deserted... which was unsettling indeed. She pulled her scarf tighter around her neck and walked at a slow pace, thinking... and watching. |
Lorcan could see a very familiar blonde head in the distance. He rushed down the Main street of Hogsmeade, trying to catch her up. Panting slightly, he grabbed her by the waist. "BOO!" He chuckled happily. "I've missed you!" |
Quote:
She shoved her hands into the pockets of her pink peacoat and she said, "Where have you been hiding? Haven't seen much of you lately. Of course I have been staying a lot in my common room so that could be why." She was rambling and she knew it, but she was in a bit of a slump and it was hitting her hard. She began to scrub the toe of her boot in the dirt and sighed heavily. |
Quote:
He pulled back blushing. "I've been wanting to do that since you were babbling about being Lady Alexa and I had to tell you I was Duke O'Farrell." He looked at her. "I've been avoiding everyone too. Unfortunately there are lots of everyones to get past so that I can see you." He hugged her tight, as though she might vanish. |
Evelyn walked gracefully, but cautiously, through Hogsmeade. I shouldn't have come here alone, but I didn't know who to ask. A big gust of wind came past and blew her scarf off her shoulders. Evelyn gasped and groaned at the same time as the wind begun dragging the scarf down the street. She chased after it, but Evelyn's dainty legs weren't built for running. The smart thing to do would have been to get her wand out and levitate the scarf back, but Evelyn's hands were busy wrapping her coat around her frame and keeping her beanie on her head. |
Quote:
Lexi returned his hug whole heartedly and nodded. "Yes, there are a lot of people in this place... sometimes I just wish I could disappear." she said in a small voice. "Where would you like to visit? The Hog's Head is open to students now if you'd like to go have a butterbeer in there." she offered, trying to get out of the wind. |
Nice weather. Gold scanned her surroundings with bright, green eyes, as she stepped into the main street. It was a pretty day, and she wondered why there was such a lack of people, here. Oh well, the place would fill. She could wait. |
Quote:
He pulled down on the tails of his waistcoat, as he nervously walked down the street. He had asked Gold to see him. But would she show? He caught a glint of red in the crowd. He wanted to pounce on her back. But that would be a bit much. "Um hi Gold," he smiled, tapping her on the shoulder. "Good to see you again." |

Ginny was walking through the main street of Hogsmeade. She saw all of the snow covered all over the shops. She didn't invite anyone to go with her as she sat down on a seat which was unoccupied. |
It was probably the second Hogsmeade trip they were allowed to go there. Though, Annie had no meaning of being there, not even to go down to the lake and thave a little fun playing soccer. What was with her? First it was just the journal missing and all that would probably come out to spotlight, but now this...the whole sparks flying whenever she touched...Drew. Sigh. This couldn't be happening. She couldn't be falling for him...it just seemed absolutely wonderful for her. And that's what she realized as she walked along the main street at Hogsmeade. |
Quote:

Evelyn stood upright again, having an idea. "Wait." She reached into the pocket of her coat and pulled out her new wand. "Accio," she spoke as clearly as she could manage. Her scarf came flying back across the road and straight into her hand. She wrapped it around her neck again, more securely this time. "So, this is Hogsmeade! I don't even know where to go first! Where do you want to go? The Three Broomsticks looks very nice." Walking along the street with Hayden at her side, Evelyn looked over to the side of the street and saw someone sitting down alone. "Is that Ginny?" Evelyn wondered aloud to Hayden. |
Quote:
Not only was he faced with homework assignments, but he also had to figure out a way to give Annie back her diary. And then there was the even bigger issue of his feelings for Brody. Because ever since that walk in the pathway, he wanted to tell her more than ever that he just wanted her to forget about Jorma and get back with him. But he knew that he couldn't do that because it wasn't right. And then he crashed right into someone walking in the opposite direction. |

Ouch... Her nose had just bumped into someone's body. And GOD, it was hurting from hell itself. Who could have enough strong abs to hurt her nose that badly. It seemed, as she looked up that only Torin Kane could. Geez. Another person she couldn't keep her mind off, as well. As she held her tongue from bleeding, if it could be possible, she looked back at Torin's worried expression. What was with him? "I'm sorry...I was distracted...Perdon..." She spoke Spanish again, feeling nervous made her do such things. |
Quote:
"Sorry!" he called out at the same time that she apologized. But at least it had been Annie, and not some stranger. Even though now he was all sore just the same. "Are you alright?" |
Quote:
Although it seemed like the boy needed someone to hear about his problems. "You don't seem alright to me...is something bothering you lately?" Odd, ironic...obvious. It was that something was really making Torin have that un-lively expression of his. |
Quote:
And she had noticed that he looked preoccupied... "I've.. had something on my mind for a few days now. And you have too from the look of it." Unless she was only looking that way because he had hurt her. |
Quote:
"You know you can trust me, Kane..." And that's something that stuck to her while living for a few days with Emiliano and Diana, addressing to people by their last names. "Tell me..." She said, now standing elbow to shoulder in their case and starting to walk along his path, to wherever it took them. And he was right. Something...in fact, someone has been in her mind lately. Drew Sparks. Gryffindor Fifth Year. Sigh. "...heart issues..." She pointed at her heart, then at her head, making a twitch with her mouth. |
Quote:
"Well..." UGH. This was hard for him to open up about! But at the mention of her heart issues it suddenly became a lot easier. "I just feel so tempted to tell Brody to dump her boyfriend already and get back with me. But I know that it's just jealousy speaking, because she loves him now." He sighed, feeling a bit better for saying that. |
Quote:
After Hayden confirmed that it was indeed Ginny sitting on the wooden bench, Evelyn found herself being pulled over by the arm, almost tripping over Hayden's feet. "Hey there, Weasley. What are doing over here? No one wants to spend a winter day in Hogsmeade alone. You should come with us. Unless you're waiting for someone..." |
Quote:
"...and you hold your thoughts to yourself, why?" Torin had to give a reason, besides the fact being jealous. "Love is filled with puddles, that experience by experience, gives us a lesson to not fall in there anymore. Things will get easier, you just have to let time take you...not force things to happen..." Whoa, where did that come from? Had she been eating fortune cookies, NOPE...not that she remembered. |
Quote:
"Yeah, I dunno. Just after we walked in the pathway and I carried her and gave her flowers..." He paused for a moment. "I really do know that she loves me. It just that I'm not normally a jealous person..." He didn't like this feeling at all. |
Quote:
She took a deep breath and looked up at Torin. "Just relax, think this...and if she's worth all of your worries, all of your heart beats, go for it..." Annie said, keeping up from the walk. PHEW... |

Luna walked down the street and saw Ginny standing there with some other girls. "Hey!" she yelled enthusiastically. She smiled widely and ran to them. "How did your Quidditch try-outs go? I couldn't come. I was ill," she said. "What were you guys planning to do?" she then asked. |
Quote:
"The Hog's Head? Is that not the dodgy one? Is this an adventure I smell brewing?" He got a wicked glint in his eye. He hoped that he could cheer her up a little. |
Elisabeta wandered out of the school gates and into Hogsmeade she smiled to herself and looked about to decide where to go she saw Honeydukes and thought she would leave that to last because well she knew that she wouldnt be sending any sweets home because it would give away where she was to her parents |
So this was the famous Hogmeade. Tyler wandered the streets of it, hoping to find at least someone he knew. But Kitty wasn't going to be here since she was a late sleeper and too lazy. Lucy was probably still tired from try-outs. Cadence...well, the story sells itself to him. She was gonna be with Nate 24/7. Ty shrugged and continued walking. The cold weather was finally coming around. Yay! Not really noticing where he was going, Tyler bumped into someone. "Oh, my bad," he said and looked up. The girl looked older so he guessed she must've been probably a sixth or seventh year. |

Hands in tight jeans pockets, hood pulled up over his face and a wearing pout to rival that muggle Angelina Jolie's, Oliver wandered down the Hogsmeade Main Street. Miserable he felt. Miserable. He kept his green eyes focused on the ground about a yard in front of him avoiding eye contact with the other students. He didn't know where he was going cos he'd never been here before.. so he was just wandering.. aimlessly. Maybe he should go and get a new robe? Or, perhaps, not – clothes shopping seemed kinda depressing. He had that voucher in his pocket, so maybe he would head to the pub for a free Butterbeer. Where was this Hogshead anyway? He lifted his eyes and looked around. If he just kept going the way he was walking, he would come to it eventually. Probably. |

Elisabeta walked with Tyler and said "I just transferred from Drumstrang what about yourself Tyler" Elisabeta was glad that she wasnt worrying about her parents cause she would deal with them in her own time and her own special way |

"Yes, the Hog's Head is a bit dodgy, but I think it would be fun. How about it Lorcan?" she said as she held out her hand for him to take so she could lead the way. |

Hogsmeade! Tibi wandered down the street, not really taking much notice of where his feet were going, eyes glued to storefronts. He hadn't made it down here last year and he wasn't quite sure why, but now! Last term, he'd barely set foot on the castle grounds. This year? Adventure into Hogsmeade! He continued wandering, wondering where to go first, more than a little aware that he would have had a free butterbeer if not for Celandine going all crazy. Grr. |
Quote:
Coooooooooooool. "Why'd you runaway? Couldn't stand being at home?" he asked. |
Quote:
"Tibi!" Speeding up, Jake ran over to his best friend, a grin on his face. "Hi!" Jake had many a coupon to waste down here. Bwahahaha. *coughchoke* Ha. |
Quote:
|
Tibi stopped in his tracks, hearing his name called down the street. Recognizing the voice, he smiled. His friend sounded.. happy. Turning around, a grin spread across his face. "Jake!" Bestest friends being happy bestest friends was so much better than bestest friends being mopey bestest friends last year. "I've never been here before. Where should I go?!" |
Quote:
When he stood up again, Jake stretched his back as though he'd just woken up, and glanced up and down the street. "Honeydukes," the boy said instantly, eyes narrowing as he smelt the sweeeet scent of sugar. He'd be fine with sugar now. Yes? Yeah he totally WOULD. Because... because... because... BECAUSE HE WANTED SOME. "I wwwant sugars... I does I duhh-does I rrrreally DOES!" O.O Maybe he'd already had some. "I hhhave cuhh-coupons ffffor... the quill puh-place, one of the ppppubs and the cuhh-clothes puh-puh-place." Mmmmhm. Because teachers looooved Jake. Oh yes they did. |

"Wow, I missed that much when I fell asleep in class," Tyler laughed. But he had seen an unforgiveable curse being performed once. He was with Jule when Heather died. Maybe that's why he was protective of his cousin and niece. |
Quote:
Oh. Coupons. "I had one... but Celandine burned it." Tibi frowned. "But I'll go with you to the pub thingie and clothes shopping and stuff.. I mean.. if you want me to?" |

HOGSMEADE!! Mina was excited to be back in there. She didn't get a real chance to explore it last year, but for some reason she felt as it was time she did explore it more. She did need to stop in to Gladrags for some gloves. She did love her some gloves and she wanted yet another pair of dragonhide ones, just in case she happened to soil her other pairs. Which was always possible, as she did soil at least three pairs last year. Walking down the street, she stopped just outside the Hog's Head. Tilting her head in thought, she frowned. I thought were went to enter there? That was odd, she could see students inside. But then again students were getting vouchers for free Butterbeer to be used there. Strange. Shrugging her head, she continued on her way. |
Quote:
Gaping at the young boy, Jake couldn't believe Cela could be so MEAN. Jake was toooootally getting the boy a quill. And buying him a butterbeer. And maybe give him one of the gloves he got freeeee with a purchase at... the gladrags place. "That wuhh-wasn't vvvery nuhh-nice of hhher," Jake frowned. Grrr. And she'd seemed so nice. "Luhh-let's go ttto the quill ppplace..." Because Jake had realised that sugar WAS a bad idea... early on in the Hogsmeade visit. Bwaha. Wait. Where was the Quill place? Jake looked... a little lost. |

He shrugged at the boy's comment about Celandine. "She said they were bad. She was really funny about it. Like she sounded all weird and then just ran off. I'uno." He shrugged again. He really didn't know what to make of it. Annnnywooo. "Quill place sounds good. Lead the way?" Cause Tibi certainly had no idea where he was going. Only, looking at Jake, it seemed he didn't either. Ruhroh. |

Sidney walks down the street. This is the first time she's been to Hogsmeade, so Sidney's kind of lost. Then she sees the boy from Professor Lawson's office. The one Sidney slammed the door into. All he can do is yell at me to go away. I'd really like to see if he's okay and apologize for slamming the door on him. Sidney walks over. "Hello, are you okay?" |

Ohhhh dear. It looked like wandering around was on the agenda... "I thuhh-think if wwwe... just wuhh-walk..." They'd get even more lost. Sounds like a plan! Quote:
Stopping dead in his tracks, Jake stared at the girl straight ahead. The one from Lawson's office. His brow furrowing, Jake rubbed at the back of his neck and avoided eye contact. She'd seen him cry and he'd shouted at her... something he'd felt bad for... but stiiiiill. "'M fine," the boy mumbled, glancing at Tibi as if to say OHMYMERLIN! HALP! "Are yuhh-you?" Jake asked the girl. What had Lawson said to her? Had he upset her? Was he in super big trouble now? Oh noes. |

"Erm. Hi." Tibi took a step forward so he was right next to Jake. "We're... fine." Did they not look fine? Out of the corner of his eye, Tibi spotted the Hog's Head. They could escape into there if need be... yeah? Hm. Turning his attention back to the girl, he noticed Jake's expression. Yeah. Escape soon. Now just think up a reason... Gee, this was awkward. |
This teenager has Sidney scared to death now. "It's cool. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry about the door. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't hurt you badly. I tend to be a klutz sometimes. I'm usually only a danger to myself." What do I do if this guy starts yelling at me. This was so a bad idea. |
Fixing his t-shirt, Adam shivered slightly and regretted not bringing a jacket. But oh well, he was NOT walking back to the Castle now, and it wasn't that cold. Flicking his fringe out of his eyes, he pulled out his wand and moved it in a large circle before him, concentrating hard on white and pink daisies in his head. "Orchideous!" he whispered, and the flowers appeared in his hand. He looked at them, and smiled approvingly, because he knew Lori would love them. At least, he hoped. As he waited for her to arrive, Adam decided to have a little bit more fun. In his mind, he pictured butterflies, and decided to try the spell non-verbally. Because he should be able to do it. After all, he was nearly seventeen! Papilio! he though, waving his wand before him. But he was NOT pleased with the result. Moths?! No, that wasn't what he'd wanted. Thinking for a moment, he decided to try again. This time, verbally. "Pape- no. Papilio!" he whispered, and the butterflies flew out of the tip of his wand. Eleven of them. Now that was an achievement. For Adam, anyway. As long as they didn't eat the flowers.. |
Quote:
One thing Jake did NOT want was a Tibi shaped shield. Well, he didn't want there to be any need for one. When Tibi answered, Jake nodded his head in agreement. Yes. Fine. Everything was fine. You'd need an axe to cut the tension, but everything was fiiiine. Quote:
But yes... he didn't know that. "You ddddidn't... hurt... me," he said slowly and quietly, trying to keep his cool and not stutter. Why was he getting mad anyway? Oh. She'd seen him WEAKEN. "I duhh-don't lllike people ssstaring at mmme," he added, voice getting a little more urgent. That's what she had done... and she was doing it now. "Thuhh-that's all." |
Quote:
Quote:
"So, um. Yeah." Tibi tugged on Jake's sleeve. "We've got that.. thing. Remember? We're gonna be late." Sure, it probably sounded sketchy, but Jake was getting worked up. And though he would be loathe to admit it, and if you asked him, he'd deny it in a second, flat... after the last time he saw Jake get worked up, he would worry about it happening again. "It was, uh, nice to meet you..." girl-person without a name. Come on... Jake. |
If this was Harry, I'd tell him to stick it in his ear. I'll stare at you if I want to, but this isn't my brother. Sidney looks away. She starts tearing up. "I'm sorry I bothered you. I was just concerned." |
Quote:
Clipping her heels along the street, she looked around for the person that had INVITED her to come here with him. Not the other way round, as he FINALLY. There he stood, his back to her, some random bloody butterflies fluttering round him, and she hoped; some more flowers for her. Giggling again, she creeped behind him, and rolled ontop her tiptoes to lean and cover his eyes. "Them flutterby's your homework?" Hehe. |
teehee <33 Quote:
THIS WAS SO AWKWARD. Directing his gaze now directly to the floor, shamelessly, Jake scowled and kicked at the cobbles. This was going well. "Luhh-lawson was ccconcerned about muhh-me... Luhh-look what I wwwent and ddddid to huhh-him..." Of course, Jake totally KNEW that the girl didn't know that. It just... slipped out. Quote:
Ohhhhhhh. "Ohhhhhhh." That. "That." Jake nodded once, and immediately wandered off in the direction Tibi had been looking earlier, waiting for the younger boy to take the lead to wherever he wanted to go. Looking once over his shoulder, Jake decided to... well... try and be a little nice. He couldn't see that the girl was about to cry... but he was taught never to just LEAVE. "Luhh-later... errr... kuhh-kid..." This time, his voice was a little lighter, but when he turned toward where he was actually walking, his face fell and he went pale. Why did he feel like he was reeeeally close to getting disasterously angry? |
Quote:
Tibi's eyes got really wide at mention of Lawson and he tugged on his friend's sleeve again. Relieved when the boy realized what he was doing, Tibi headed toward the Hog's Head, looking back over at the girl. "See you.. around maybe." He felt like a total heel, but Jake was getting angry and that was no good. No no good. And so that won over being polite. "Let's go... sit and have a drink?" He led the way to the door, and rested his hand against it. A nice, relaxing drink. |
What he did to Professor Lawson? Not another conspiracy nutter! I'm so sorry I ever came to Hogwarts. Dad said it was a wonderful place. Everyone would be so friendly. So far the headmaster hates me. I've made this kid mad at me, and... and.... Sidney digs her nails into the palms of her hand. Hopefully that will keep her from crying. She is not going to cry in front of these guys. Sidney ignores the blond guy and turns her attention to the other one. "Sorry I bothered you. It was nice talking to you. My name is Sidney, Sidney Marlowe." She extends her hand to the other guy. Bad manners is not excust for you to behave badly too. |
Managing a weird sort of half-smile, Jake reached out for the door of the pub as well, and pushed it in. He didn't want to feel like any kind of invalid or whatever. So yeah, leaving the young girl behind, Jake entered the dingy looking pub. He needed to sit DOWN. |
Tibi looked back over his shoulder as the girl spoke again. "Nice to meet you Sidney, Sidney Marlowe." He raised his hand in a half-wave. And with that, he followed Jake into the pub, leaving the girl in the street. |
Sidney waves as the boy leaves. "What's your name?" |
As the door closed behind him, he was barely aware that the girl had asked him his name. Tiberius, your mother would be ashamed. Turning back, he thought to call it to her. "Tib--" But the door closed in his face with a thud. |
Luffs <3 Quote:
But she was glad she had gotten outside, the fresh air was making her relax and forget about the tiresome events. And now she was on her way to Honeydukes to buy some more chocolate. She had unfortunately run out of those little frogs when she needed them the most. Maybe she'd pop into the Hog's Head and get that free...whatever she'd gotten. The coupon was in her little purse...maybe she'd spot a friend or two in there aswell. Hmmm... She'd seen others getting coupons for a piece of cake...maybe she'd gotten one too? Her memory was goofy and she took it out to read it. If there was cake involved, she'd definitely get a chocolate one. Free Butterbeer... "Awww..." Miranda made a sullen face, which then turned into one of surprise as she accidentally bumped into something - or someone, dropping her coupon. "Sh...sorry!" Miranda said quickly and bent down to pick up her piece of paper, not noticing who it was. |

Feeling cold hands over his face, Adam almost jumped, and then heard a voice in his ear. Spinning around caused the hands to fall, and he grinned down at Lori. "Hey there," he whispered, handing her the flowers. And completely ignoring her question. Ooops. |
Rafe wondered the street, not sure where to go or if he really needed anything. But, it was nice to get out. His social life wasn't as active as it usually was. He'd hardly seen any of his friends. He'd gone to tryouts and the hospital wing, but that was all business and no fun. He didn't know what to do exactly, but Hogsmeade was usually active at this time and he was incredibly bored. Maybe he's run into a familiar face. |
Enid walked out of The Three Broomsticks and onto Hogsmeade's Main Street with a rather distracted and thoughtful expression on her young face. That last conversation she'd just had with Layla had left her a bit dazed, and she found herself bumping into a few people here and there as she walked down the crowded streets. "Sorry," she muttered after crashing into some old lady she'd never seen before. She opted it was best to get her mind off that conversation and distract herself looking at the various items set on display behind the windows of each shop. She slowed her pace and let her large green eyes roam over the shops, coming to a halt by a broomshop that had up on display some of the latest, fastest - and of course, most expensive brooms out in the wizarding world. |
Becca, not sure if she would actually buy anything, or just window shop walked around in a daze at all of the wonderful products in the stores' window displays. Not paying any attention as she was staring at the newest book in her favorite series from across the street, she bumped into someone, knocking her out of her trance. "Oh, gosh I'm so sorry!" Becca said as she collected herself. |

Warr Polly (Bushie) strolled out to Hogsmeade. Ah.... She thought, taking it all in. Only if they had all this out in the desert... The Aussie made her way down the street wearing only a scanty camo sleeveless shirt and baggy slacks. This was corker! If only the goods weren't so exy (expensive)....her parents thought she was too untrustworthy to give any money too. Unconsciously, Bushie put her hand through her dyed spiked black hair and looked around. 'Twas a bummer if all the Pommy's round here were boring. She wondered if anyone was gonna give her the drum on why everyone around here was so unsociable and start talking. All this thinking happened without the grin leaving her face. |
