Allison had little to no difficulty using or casting the spell. After all it had been that spell that had caused such an awful allergic reaction to her opponent in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Allison believed Raiden was to thank for that; for had he not used the spell on her she would have never seen its intricate wand movements. She had practiced it on her own and had failed miserably, however during the duel it seemed that adrenaline performed miracles, and the simple spell had blown all of the roses towards Georgiana. It had worked out perfectly...until she had been cursed with growing teeth. Tilting her head Allison saw as Arya and Ivory were able to learn the spell, quite proud of them she gave them a gleaming smile and grabbed her bone-dry leaves. Putting them into a cup she looked around for the steaming hot water. Not wanting to get anyone angry--like the Professor, Allison whispered towards her group, "Where is the hot water?" |
SPOILER!!: quotes Arya half-heartedly listened to Cela as she explained something she was sure would be on the homework. While she listened, she continued to dry her leaves. She had lined them up in a random design, slowly moving her wand along the path as she picked up her wistling. It wasn't the most exciting class, but at least it wasn't as boring as History of Magic. She looked up when Allison had asked where the hot wate was. That was a good question, she was almost done drying her leaves and would need the water soon. Shrugging her shoulders as she looked around the classroom but didn't see any hot water."I don't know, maybe were supose to conjour it or somthing."She wispered back to Allison, leaning in as well. |

Patroclus watched a Nicoletta dried the tea leaves. "Well being the gentleman that i am," Patroclus said in a funny fake posh accent, "Ladies allow me". He took the pile of leaves and divided them between the four cups. Once done he took up the tea pot of hot water and poured the steaming liquid it the cups, and place each one in front of Lucy, Nicolette and Emily. "Here's to our amazing tea skills!" Patroclus toasted |

Then she got an idea. "I don't know a spell to make hot water, but if you can produce some water, Kay, then I can boil it with the fire from an Incendio charm." "Do you think that's allowed?" she asked them both in a whisper. |
It's alright. I understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote:

"Hm? My mom is a herbologist," she said simply. Ah, and she was done. She peered around the bush to look at the other student, Kel, and gauge where he was at. |

Giving a 'thank you' smile, he too poured down some water. They had to mix it a bit, no? Where would they get a spoon? Did the teacher had that too but he couldn't see it? |
Sidney continues using the Siccus Aerous charm to dry her tea buds. Don't pay attention to what Professor Bunbury is doing. Watch what you're doing. Sidney lets her wand get too close to one of the buds. It burst into flames. "Agumenti!" a stream of water comes out of her wand extinquishing the fire. The water also soaks the remaining buds Sidney has to dry. Great! Just what I needed wet leaves. Sidney raises her hand. "Professor Bundbury, is it alright to use the Siccus Aerous Charm when the buds are wet?" Better ask first. I don't want to blow up the greenhouse like I did the Potion Lab. |

Kay thought about it for a minute. "I don't see way not. Can you make a small flame? I can put the water in the small kettle." Kay pointed her wand "Aguamenti." |

Gold didn't really get why this professor was so angry. At every, little thing, too. The fifth year only nodded, more to herself than to anyone else, as Professor Bunbury spoke up, and then looked at her group's considerable pile of leaves. Bone-dry, yes. Cup in one hand, she eyed the baby leaves a bit, then started to put the leaves into the container. "It's mostly cultivated in the tropical and sub-tropical regions, isn't it, professor?" she said, raising a hand. "So that would mean Camellia sinesis likes a bit of moisture - it is usually grown in areas that get at least fifty inches of rainfall, per annum - and prefers sandy but well-drained soil, that is on the acidic side." She knew her answer was a little late, but that was better than not answering, right? She glanced at Celandine, who seemed to love answering every question, even those directed at the professor, and returned to her work with a little, inward sigh. Yeah, you could totally tell Gold wasn't in that good a mood, right now. She was actually thinking stuff that was a bit mean... and that, that certainly wasn't Gold Laksh. Meh. |

"Why don't you try... making tea? Have you never made tea before?" Wasn't this child British? Enough of her. Bunz needed to go check on the other students. Quote:
She would never try to poison her dear professor or anything, now would she? No, never. Quote:

The redheaded professor let out a small sigh and then moved back to the front of the room. Quote:
........ "All right. Here's your homework: either write or draw for me a few short paragraphs demonstrating what you've learned today. Follow my guidelines for posting homework. That will be all; class dismissed; clean up your teacups when you finish your tea. Or you may take them with you - just don't make a huge mess on purpose here." |
"Oh you're welcome." Celandine told the professor and Destiny and Evelyn, as if they'd just thanked her profusely for sharing what she knew. She checked on her group and nodded approvingly. "You guys are doing great, I totally chose the best group right?" She laughed a little and began to brew some tea. "Professor? I have a question but it isn't about tea." Cela ventured, her expression thoughtful. |

*hugs my RoRoRawr* It was simple spell-work, once the leaves were in the cup. The tea was on its way to be ready in no time, and Gold glanced round her group, wondering why they were all so quiet. Oh, well. She wasn't exactly in a talkative mood, either. Not one bit. Quote:
She listened to the homework, then looked at her teacup, wondering whether to take it with her. It would sort of be a souvenir.... UGH! Why wouldn't the sudden bad mood go away? Shucks. |
Sidney finishes drying her buds. She then finds a tea cup and places the buds in there. Sidney takes it to the front of the classroom and fills the cup with boiling water. She takes the cup back to her place and lets it steep. Sidney watches while the water turns a light shade of green. |

Practically glowing with Setting the plant down, she took her time slightly to pick the smallest buds of the plant until she had a good little pile, she realized she was missing something quite crucial to her tea making. EEK! She need some kind of thin cloth thing... Eh, she'd find that later. Right now, she needed a few more things, and perhaps the professor had some? She had to hurry since class was being dismissed. "Professor, do you have any cinnamon and ginger?" Since, she was a Herbology professor and all... Well, okay, that didn't guarantee that she had those two ingredients but hopefully she did. |
veryyy latee response... *points at busy weekend and sighs* =( Aaron had been oddly quiet for the remainder of the lesson, as he was sitting and carefully plucking the buds, thinking on how very weird the redheaded professor seemed. Almost - though he couldn't be sure on it - like something was bothering her. He guessed he must have picked up his good sense from Alex. Sighing softly once all the buds were plucked off, he rested his chin on his forearms and listened to the professor speak ... the students speak ... Weird thing is that he didn't even know WHY he so was quiet. Maybe he just got like that; all that energy burned out. Even so he still needed to at least try to participate. Because even without energy, he couldn't get credit for not trying. Watching as Gold and his other group members tried out the drying spell, he repeated their words. Siccus aerous, trying to find his enthusiasm . . . his pep. Motioning his wand as Gold did, as the Professor had demonstrated, as others around him did, he said the incantation aloud; "Siccus aerous". A very small, gust of air emerged from his wand but was gone barely half a second later. Sigh. Even his charms were suffering; granted he was only eleven but he usually had the energy and stamina to work with them. Thank goodness for the older, more experienced students in his group. Perking up ever so slightly at the announcement of two points from hufflepuff, Aaron stretched to see who the culprit was. Poor Hufflepuff. The student would have severely suffered his sister's wrath after class if she was still in school. Homework already? But they hadn't finished the tea making. Looking over to Gold with a pained expression, Aaron frowned. He wanted - no needed - the tea too! They just needed hot water, actually, since their leaves seemed to be dry thanks to Gold and the others handiwork. "I can produce a fair water charm, if one of you wants to boil it?" he asked to his group members. |

And Cela knew that the Imperius curses cast from Truebridge's wand was actually Copernicus. It wasn't his fault either. This had something to do with whoever did that, right? The question was for Cela, was it related to other things? Cela waited for a beat, trying to gauge the professor's reaction. "You don't have to... answer. I just... its just what I think." She nibbled on her lip and then suddenly packed up all her things. "Thanks for the lesson professor." Cela hurried out of the classroom, her expression thoughtful. |

Unglueing her eyes off the Professor's nose, Destiny nodded, 'Yessss, I've made tea before.' Did she think she was American or something, pfffft. Walking back over to the table she originally sat, Destiny started to pick the tiniest leafy buds she could find. When she had a small pile she did the snazziest wand movements she'd ever did and said the snazziest words ever, 'Sirrus aerous.' She was totally imagining Evelyn's shoes melting while drying the leaves. Riiiight. Now what were they supposed to do? Destiny looked back up at the Professor and would have asked, but the creeper..no, she would just wing the tea making. Why was Evelyn being all shifty all of a sudden? |
Arya was filling up her cup with her dry leaves when she heard that class was dissmissed. Finally! She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down the homework. As she cleaned her mess she grined at Cela, "Thanks Cela! You chose the best group."As the professor headed over to speak to Cela, Arya grabed her bag and cup of tea leaves to leave. She didn't care to listen to thier conversation, though she was sure Allison and Ivory would. "See ya later guys!"She smiled at her friends, then turned and skiped out of the greenhouse. |
