It was then that she caught sight of a very familiar blonde little head - Alexa! Now almost running, the young girl made her way over to the second year girl at top speed, but came to a very abrupt halt that almost caused her to trip on her own feet right beside her. "Good evening, Lady Alexa," said Enid, raising her skirt just a bit and giving a very formal and polite curtsy to the younger girl. She then pushed a first year out of the way and proceeded to sit down beside Alexa. "I must apologize, fair lady, for my timing. Enid does hope Lady Alexa will find it in her heart to forgive her for being so easily distracted. O, but alas! Have I missed thee in this long absence" - it had only been about half an hour - "but worry no longer, fair Alexa, for I, Enid Banvard, promise not to make any more disappearances from now on! I hope thou will find it in thy heart to trust my word this time."

Once finished with her very formal, Shakespearean-like speech, Enid flashed Alexa the brightest of smiles, as if to prove she was completely trustworthy now.

Alexa heard the frantic pitter patter of little feet... and whoops there went a firstie... dude that sucks...

YUSH! Lady Enid had arrived. Turning to face the girl she said, "Why, Lady Enid hath thou taken so very long to find me? I was most worried that thou had grown weary of mine company and decided to go away. I am most glad thou hath found me though. It is most EPIC that thou hath made this vow. I too vow to you that I shant leave your side... you know unless you have to attend a class I cannot... "

Alexa had drank some pumpkin juice right before said speech was made... what was in this pumpkin juice?? :shifty:

Enid had had some pumpkin juice as well, of course. :P :shifty:

"O, sweet lady Alexa, thou art most kind to thy humble friend!" said Enid with a rather dramatic sigh of relief, allowing her slender arms to wrap around Alexa and squeeze the young girl into a bone-crushing hug. "Thou can not imagine the worry I felt during my time of delay!" she went on frantically, releasing the younger girl and now taking a long sip from her pumpkin juice. Was it just her or was it hot in here? Why was no one offering to take her shoes and massage her feet?! Commoners! No manners whatsoever! But her green eyes turned kind and sparkled as Alexa went on, returning her vow and promising her not to leave her side. "O, Lady Alexa, thou makest the happiest girl out of me! Thou art most kind, I shalt wait patiently for classes to start, for if it was up to me, they would never begin and thou and I would roam this castle of ours causing mischief day and night! Alas, it is a shame this is all but a dream..." She then let out a long sigh and allowed her large green eyes to turn rather sad.

Alexa took a deep drink from her pumpkin juice just before she was pulled into a tiiiiight sqqqqquuuuuueeeezzze. *GASPS FOR AIR* "Why yes, Lady Enid, thou maketh the only suitable comrade in this castle of ours. And thou art the most epic mishchief maker there is." she cast a glare around her as no one was bowing and grovelling at their feet. Poor fools. Why weren't they showing Lady Enid and Lady Alexa the proper respect?! *SCOFF*

"Mischief day and night... O, Lady Enid, thou speaketh of things that make my heart warm with glee. THou art most correct though.. tis but a dream.. They willn't allow us to shirk our responsibilities so. It isn't an easy job, but someone must do it." she said, allowing the full weight of her words sink in. Her face dropped and she began to pout outwardly. Stupid rules... stupid commoners...

Daniel was so happy that they have arrived at Hogwarts. He was so famished. Starting from the carriage unto the Great Hall all he can think of was Raven.

He look at the direction of the Slytherin House table and spotted her before proceeding towards his own house table.

He sat and listened as the new ones and the old folks are talking merrily.

"Hello, everybody!" he said straightening his robes.

Glancing up, Sabel gave a small smile at the newcomer, or rather, 'oldcomer' as he appeared to be of two years senior to himself. Not wanting to be impolite, he shifted to the edge of the bench and pointed at the space avaliable. "There's room if you want a seat."

Enid gasped - but it wasn't the way a normal person would gasp, no, it was a gasp as if she had just swam her way from England to New York, as if she had been holding her breath for months. "Lady Alexa!" Her green eyes widened in her childlike face. "Thou-- thou-- thou will makest me blush with such kind words! Alas! Me?! Most epic mischief maker?! Why, I never thought I would live to see the day such kind and beautiful words would grace my ears - but this is only a part of the reason behind this pink colour on my cheeks - that it comes from thee, Lady Alexa, is what most makes my face grow warm. I am most flattered by thy kind words, my good friend." Enid gave a sheepish chuckle and looked down to the table almost shyly before busying herself with taking another drink from her pumpkin juice.

Enid returned her gaze to Alexa as the young girl continued speaking, expressing her own wish to cause mischief day and night without dealing with responsibility. "We shall continue dreaming, kind Alexa, for it is all we can afford to do at this point," she said with a sigh before allowing her green eyes to roam over the Gryffindor table once again. What - what were these words? 'What's up', 'chillin'', 'for sure'… "My ears! My ears, Lady Alexa!" began Enid dramatically, turning back to her friend. "The language of the peasants hurts thy friend's ears! O, but what curse is this that has been cast upon us! Woe is me! Blasted be the day they opened the castle doors to commoners! Have they no manners?! Why is no one massaging my feet, combing my hair?!"

Enid looked around the Great Hall with large worried eyes for a moment before turning back to Alexa. "I-- I have a feeling, Lady Alexa, we are not in Kansas home anymore… we… we have been shipped off to a land of peasants, peasants who haven't the slightest idea we are royalty!" She then very sharply turned to the little first year she had pushed earlier, who was now warily sitting beside her, "YOU! Commoner! Inform the people of thy land - Enid of the House of Banvard and Alexa of the House of Kennedy have arrived! Have our maids fetched immediately, we need a change of shoes!" When she saw the first year merely sat there and blinked at her, Enid shooed him off with a wave of her hands. "Off with thee, hurry now!"

Vivianne took her seat at the Gryffindor table. She's officially on her sixth year. Just 2 years more and she'll be graduating. "Hey hello," she greeted her Co GRyffindors. She felt great to be back and to be sitting back at the Lion's table. And it felt great to be back on robes again.

Natasha was walking across the Great Hall, and she so happened to be passing the Gryffindor table, and she caught some of what two girls were saying. She stopped in her tracks, turning to look at them both. They were both talking... Old fashioned? "Is it just me, or have I actually just gone back in time?" She asked one of the girls. It was like the 1600's or something, and it made no sense at all.

By the look on her face, she was clearly puzzled.

Having just been sorted, Gwen's walk to the Gryffindor table was still a blur. She had not yet taken in her surroundings, having much anxiety about the sorting itself. The Entrance Hall had been spectacular, but this... The Entrance Hall's beauty had no competition to this. The Great Hall was massive. Gwen looked up, trying to resist the urge to say Awwwww out loud.

She reached nearly the end of the table.

This spot must be reserved for first years... she thought, taking a seat. Why else would everyone else be toward the front?

Gwen sat there patiently waiting for the feast to begin. Perhaps she'll make some friends with fellow Gryffindors. It seems the girls she met on the train were all in separate houses.

I can't wait to see the common rooms she thought, still gazing into the night sky portrayed on the ceiling of the Great Hall.

Daniel smiled and nodded at the girl, "Thank you, Mister." he didn't know who this girl is because it is his first time that he saw her.

"REady for your sixth year eh?" Vivianne leaned on the table and waved at the girl whom Daniel had talked to. "Hello there," she smiled.

Sabel gave the other boy a small nod, and the girl, Vivian a polite smile, shifting a little to make sure there was enough space. Things certainly were starting to get crowded. Somehow managing to find enough elbow room, he held up his hand in a small wave, not wanting to be impolite to those he would be living with for the year. "Sabel Dakest....err...fourth year." What were the common greetings again? He couldn't seem to remember.

Whaaaa... "Well, that is very nice. I think very highly of Jason, myself. He was one of the first people I met here and he was always very nice." she said with a tiny bit of blush to her cheeks.

Alexa simply shook her head at Josh as he threw candy everywhere. Silly silly boy.

Alexa chuckled a bit, but was grateful the Head Boy had not caught she and Lorcan having their tiff on the train. Grrr... Lorcan was being a baby.

Sahking herself from her thoughts she said, "Dude, that's crazy. Fighting on the train, who does that?" Teehee. "I don't even want to think about NEWT year... I am already studying for OWLs... and I am only a second year." she said with a slight bit of panic in her voice.

Quidditch.. oh lovely lovey Quidditch. *Sigh* "I am thinking I may try out this year. I missed tryouts last year. I was a bit too wrapped up in things." she said with a sheepish grin. A first year too caught up in things. HA! She was too scared to tryout.. afraid she'd like totally fall off of her broom.

Shaking Daniel's hand, Sabel figured perhaps this year wasn't going to be all stumbles and falls; that was as long as his tongue didn't start duplicating the clumsyness of his feet. "That is certainly the name, Daniel. It's a pleasure to meet you."

He smiled at those he knew and those he hadn't met yet. He hadn't had much of a chance to meet the new Gryffindors on the train. He headed down the long table and found Jack. "Hey Jack, can I sit with you?" he asked before he joined the Head Boy.

You would think he spent his whole summer shining that thing. she thought to herself. She was going to invite him over to sit with her, but ofcourse he went and sat with the other prefects. A bit disappointed, she waved, hoping he would see her.

Relief washed over and through Tori as she walked into the famailiar scenery of the Great Hall. Her eyes never hesitated as they swung over to look the Gryffindor table. She smiled widely as she spotted a few familiar faces. Tori sauntered on to her house table content and ready to start the new term at Hogwarts.

"Hi guys.Good to be back." she greeted everyone as she took her seat. She looked up the bewitched ceiling depicting the deep blue of the night sky, splashed with stars. She always found it enchantingly beautiful.

Chelsea was sorted, into her house Gryffindor, the best there is . She walked over to where there was a girl, and a few empty seats, she sat on the otherside of the table across from her, "The names Chelsea, whats' yours?"she said smiling at the girl. She had just realized there was another girl, and repeated the same action, "I'm a first Year, you too?"
