1 - Witches' Runes
 

Alessia was tired. She was running on ONE hour's sleep. (ooc: Because *I* am - LOL) She had the bag of Witches' Runes that Tate found in his office in her hands... Where these the reason Reynard was gone? Did he not leave her? She scootched up on her desk and waited for the students to file in.


ooc: I am so sorry, I was going to start this yesterday, but I was on call and ended up working all night long (except from 2:30 to 3:30 AM - my one hour of sleep) I will keep this thread open for at least 72 hours.

Sniffling, due to his disastrous cold or pneumonia or whatever the heck it was (he was no healer), Jake sneezed his way into the classroom. Surely he only had a few days before he could go. Yes?

"Hi Prof-ATCHOO!" the boy sneezed, the omnipresent handkerchief in his hand. "Are you w-ATCHOO!" he tried again, before giving up, throwing himself into the seat next to Tibi and looking downright pale and exhausted.

Iris walked into ancient Runes tiredly ... She'd not slept very well last night ... She hoped that it wouldn't affect her in this lesson. She looked at Lupa and smiled at her ... She looked more tired than Iris did, "Hello Professor Lupa" She said simply, and went to sit down in her seat in the middle of the classroom.

Tiberius nearly jumped out of his seat at the sneezes. Looking over, eyes wide, he saw Jake.

"Whoa. Jake. Have you seen the healer about that?"

Totally didn't sound good.

Nicoletta took a seat. "Hello Professor Lupa." she greeted.

Marie walked into class and noticed a very tired looking Professor Lupa sitting on her desk. "Good morning Professor Lupa, how are you today?" Marie said as she took a seat near the back of the room.

Thomas entered the class. "Hello Professor Lupa," he said noticing the tired teacher. Well he couldn't blame her being a teacher in Hogwarts is probably a very big responsibility. He took his seat in the middle of the room waiting for the lesson to begin.

Dalanie walked into the classroom for another exciting day of runes. "Good morning professor!" she said as she walked by and took her seat.

Nicoletta rummaged through her bag. Oh dang. She tapped the girl next to her on the shoulder. "Excuse me, do you have some extra parchment I could borrow?"

Nia entered the classroom, her blonde hair falling in curls acrss her shoulders and clipped back from her face with fluttering butterfly slides. "Hi Professor Lupa," she said as she made her way past the teacher's desk and to a desk in the middle row. As she did so, she noted how tired the Runes Professor looked. With a warm smile to her, Nia slid into her chair and pulled a quill and parchment from her bag.

Walking into the Runes classroom Kay looked up to the front of the class. "Hello Professor Lupa, How have you been. Nice Summer?" Kay said smiling. She really like this class. She went to one of the desk and looked around it see who was there. 'Marie, great. Glad she was on the other side of the room in the back.' Why or how did things get so out of hand. Kay turned in her sit and got her things out and waited for class to start.

Hahaha, Ancient Runes. Destiny didn't know what was so funny, but she was laughing anyway. She walked into the classroom expecting to see a very happy professor, but instead saw a very tired looking professor. Didn't she know how important sleep was!? 'Helloooo professor!.' She wouldn't comment on her tired state, she would just walk over to a seat, faaaaaar away from Kay, who still owed her a butterbeer.

"No problem Master Pryce..." She said rubbing her eyes.

She summoned a pepper up potion and gave it to the boy. "Here Master Upstead, this should help."

"Hello to youhooohooo" She said yawning.

"Oh, Right... you should go to the nurse dear." She said, her eyes droopy.

"Hello Miss Davis," She replied.

"Very tired Miss Salazar..." she said and smiled. "But alright over all."

"Master Turner, nice to see you again." she said and ruffled his hair.

"G'morning Miss Rackel." She told her.

"Miss Newtington," she said in greeting.

"Pleasure is all mine Miss..." she said looking at her roster,"Erised, I hope you will enjoy class." She said to the new student.

"Miss Evans, pleasure to have you back." She said.

"Hello..." she said with a wink.

"I think we'll wait a few minutes before we start. You can talk to each other until we start..."

It was surprising that he even HAD the energy for another sneeze. But he did.

"ATCHOO!" the boy sneezed, before bursting into a coughing fit. He looked around and shook his head. "Nuh uh," he mumbled lazily.

Taking the potion, Jake handed it over to Tibi. "Duhh-drink't fer muhh-me," he said, laying his head on the desk. Collllld desk. "M'fine."

Evelyn raaaaaaaaaaaaaan to the classroom, holding her bag to her chest as she sprinted around the last corner. Stupid over sleeping. At least she slept though...that was new. Breathing a sigh of relief as she saw the door, she slowed down and tried to calm her rapidly beating heart. She wasn't late. Hopefully she wasn't. Maybe...

Stopping just outside the door, she took a few more deep breathes, composing herself, before entering with a small smile. "Good day, Professor." she said, quickly spotting Destiny and sitting down. Not late. Not late not late...

Tiberius frowned, placing the potion back on Jake's desk.

"You are not fine. So... drink this ooorrr come with me to healer after class." He tried to sound friendly and encouraging, but he thought maybe he failed in that. At least he was giving Jake an option. Tibi was sick of people having things wrong with them and not doing anything about it.

It was making his head hurt.

Dalanie was startled as a girl tapped her on her shoulder. It was Nicoletta and she needed some parchment. "Oh yea. Let me get some out of my bag," she said and she rummaged through her bag.

After finding the parchment she turned to Nicoletta. "Here," she said and handed some parchment over. Dalanie loved to help people and make new friends. This was the perfect opportunity to it both at the same time.

Josh, rather majestically, walked in the classroom hoping that this would be an interesting class which he could have at least a little bit of fun. Nothing about the name Ancient Runes offered any fun though, but one never knew where fun would come from and prejudices were just soo bad. Plus last year's Ancient Runes was quite interesting, he he, yes it was. He enjoyed the final exam, as well.
''Greetings, professor'' he told the woman kindly and faced the class the find himself a suitable seat. 'Hmmm where to sit now...'

Reese made a dash down the hallway, hoping she wasn't running too late for the Ancient Runes class. After she got close to the classroom down, she slowed down and took a few deep breaths before entering the classroom that was already full of people. But, luckily, it didn't look like class started yet.

"Good afternoon, Professor," she greeted Lupa, and then she took a seat near the front of the class.

Isabella walked into the classroom, at a bigger speed then normal. She was afraid she was late, stealing a glance at the Professor told her different, she sighed with releaf. She wasn't late, thank god! She smiled to herself and she scaned the room for a free seat, there already seemed loads of students filling it up, but she finally noticed one near the window. She began the route towards it, this route meant walking past the Professor. Why not? She thought, stopping next the Professor, "Hey Professor, Im Isabella Evans." She said smiling, checking to see if her chosen seat was still free, Yes, good!.

Ella arrived in the classroom, anxious to find out what they would be learning today. She looked around the classroom for a familiar face, but then took out her notebooks and set them on her desk to takes notes on. "Morning, professor," Ella greeted, who seemed just as tired as she had been the other night.
