Theo smiled, "I came out for some fresh air too. Because the Slytherin Common Room can get a bit dark and stuffy. I bet it isn't like that in the Hufflepuff one." He would like to see it. But he wasn't going to admit that he wanted to spend time in her common room with her. He would actually like to spend time with her anywhere. So this was nice. "I was wondering if I would see you out here as well. I tried the practice pitch. Cos I thought you might be there with Miles." Wow that sounded desperate.

He nodded, hopefully not too vigorously, "I would like to explore inside with you." Maybe she would let him hold her hand. So they didn't get split up of course. He would use that excuse.

Taking a nice relaxing stroll is calming, dontcha think?

Too bad Jake couldn't do that.

"GUUHHHH! Stupid red-headed, pink-obsessed teacher who's never satisfied," Jake grumbled, kicking at the floor as he trundled along the maze, like he had been for some time..

No. No. He was around corn. Corn was calming. Ohhhhhhmmmm.

Oooooh! Lookit! The girl from Arithmancy, talking to that Brody chick from DA. Jake approached them and watched them for a moment.

That would be the last thing that she was going to do. "I'm Brody Summers." She nodded with a smile, she did kind of remember this girl. The girl with the wierd name. Yes she remembered her.
"Is your shoulder okay? She asked, a little worried. She hoped that she hadn't hurt her.

"This thing." It was a thing right? "Is a little wierd isn't it?" She giggled, looking around. She was quite glad that she had found Louann. At least now she'd not get lost in here.

LouAnn shrugged when Brody questioned whether they'd met or not. "I'm sort of new to this area, and to this school, so it's been kind of hard to remember everyone I've met. I guess the longer I stick around, the more familiar they'll become," she said. Her shoulder was starting to feel a little better, so she dropped her arm back to her side and starting walking further through the maze. She nodded when Brody asked her if her shoulder was any better. "Yeah, I'll be alright," she assured.

"Come on, let's try this thing out. I'm not sure how long it's been here or who put it together, but it's pretty cool. A real maze that we can actually walk through," she said, suddenly remembering a story her mum had told her. "You know, there was once a different maze here at Hogwarts, and someone actually died inside of it. It was for something called the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Have you heard of it?"

When she rounded a sharp corner of corn, LouAnn came face to face with a boy going on about some 'red-headed, pink-obsessed teacher who's never satisfied'. She stopped abruptly, hoping Brody wouldn't slam into her again, and blinked at the boy. Ohh, this was the boy from Arithmancy class, the one who'd fallen over in his desk while trying to glance at her parchment. "Are you...alright?" she asked, giving him a concerned look. This kid was a true piece of work, yup. Everytime LouAnn saw him he was getting into something else. No telling what the 'red-headed, pink-obsessed teacher who's never satisfied' had done to get him in this type of mood. "Wanna travel the corn maze with us?"

So intently focused on her writing was she that the Ravenclaw girl had lost focus of her surroundings until she heard a loud, somewhat confused voice and a cry for help. All at once, the fifteen year old stopped, looked up, and tried to accustom herself to her surroundings. What's up with all the corn? she thought as she turned around slowly to see that she was surrounded by the towering plants.

And that voice... Though she could hear several voices coming from within the seemingly endless rows of maize, the one that had caught her attention seemed so familiar. Quickly shoving her quill and journal back into her inside robe pocket, she called out in a rather loud voice, "Sarah? Is that you?" With some futility, she tried to stand on her toes to try to see someone, anyone, but all she could see was maize. Is this a maze? she thought to herself as she started to creep along what seemed like walls. Then she spun back around in sudden realization. She hadn't been paying any kind of attention when she came in here, how was she going to get out?

Her eyes widened and she wanted to smack Miles for not hearing about the practice pitch too. Gah! Maybe she would t have hurt herself last night when secretly practicing. She reached for his hand, ready to walk inside the maze.

This is too good, he'll love to get lost in it, yeeeeaah. Skipping like a little kid, Blake gawked the huge corn maze, not able to believe his eyes. I meean, the groundskeeper must be verrrry crafty to do something of this sort.

Blake was gleaming with happiness, he took out his little hamster, Tazzie from his jeans pocket and stuck his tongue out at him, "Tazzie, we're at a maze, can you believe it? I feel like a 5 year old, liiaak toterly!"

Soo happy, he was just about to get in the maze and get lost when something dropped on his feet, "AAHHH!!" Blake screamed, took a few steps backward and fell down on the ground.

"Oh um, so sorry about the scream, you just popped from nowhere." He muttered and got up on his feet. Looking down at the lady, he offered her a hand like a gentleman. "Umm I'll pull you up, Miss.." He narrowed his eyes, ohh she has pretty blonde hair, I liaaakey.

Bianca heard a scream, and then a thud. o___O EEEEEP. She hadn't meant to make another person trip, butt it was innevitable. Snicker. Looking up at the boy who had produced the ear ringing scream, she smiled sheepishly, and giggled slightly. "Oh, it's okay," she started to say, "I'm sorry for falling at your feet and making you fall over," she added, with another little giggle.

AWWW, WHAT A CUTTIEEE, he was offering to help her up. Bianca slid a slender hand in his. "Laroche, Bianca Jayde," she said with a cheeky smile, in a formal-ish manner. She could be lady-like when she wanted to be. "And thank-youuu Sir.." She added in a kind, not mocking, tone.

"Ahhh, I see," LouAnn said, nodding her head just once. She'd heard about that Herbology professor, Bunbury if she remembered correctly. "I've heard of her. Cope, Daphne, and a few others were bagging poo for her at the Start-of-Term Feast." LouAnn made a slightly disgusted face, just remembering how those two third years, Cam and Willie, had slung mooncalf poo all over the Great Hall just a few days earlier. "You know, from when those two boys slung the poo everywhere."

When the boy held out his hand, LouAnn realized they'd never actually had a proper meeting. They'd sat near one another in Arithmancy, and he'd nearly crushed her by tumbling to the ground in class, but neither knew the other's name. Unless, of course, he remembered her being called 'Ms. Purple'. She reached out her hand and shook his, too. "Cool, Jake. I'm LouAnn Purple," she replied.

"Yup, like you and Jake," she said, pretty sure she'd remember these two. She'd always know them as the two Hufflepuffs who went through the corn maze with her. "I'm sure I'll know just about everyone in another month or two." She shrugged, then started off again, maneuvering through the corn in an effort to get through the maze. "So, Brody, are you new here, too? I can't remember if you told me so or not," she continued. "Where'd you come from before you came here?" Oddly enough, she was asking Brody the exact same question she'd never be able to answer herself. Ugh. LouAnn hated having to be so secretive about her past.

"So, now she has it in for me..." Jake trailed off, listening to the girl. "Yeah. One of them boys was my best friend. The other... well, yeah... Don't make the Crocker kid angry."

Sound advice.

Giving the girl, LouAnn a smile, Jake said, "I suppose... I should kind of thank you for warning me about the chair in class... Even if it kind of had the opposite effect," the pink-haired boy grinned, letting go of her hand and continuing around the maze with them.

Lyra and Via (catching up *smites my comp for not working*)

After all she was only twelve and the girl beside her was alot older and had longer legs so that Lyra was forced to take bigger steps then normally to keep up with her. She was not going to complain though, it would be a sign of weakness and Lyra was too proud to show any of those signs.

Coughing slightly, Lyra started to walk further with bigger steps and could keep up with Adrienne. The Slytherin looked to her right at Adrienne and noticed that she had a badge with a Raven attached on her robe. "Your a Ravenclaw?" she asked and mentally slapped her forhead for such a stupid question. Duh, of course she was one! why else would she walk around with a Ravenclaw badge?

Lyra grinned broadly at what Adrienne was saying. Oh yea she would defenitely loved to tell that she hadn't get lost in the maze but still she was itching to tell Evan at the common room what had happend. But then she remembered that he had acted very strange so maybe that wasn't such a good idea. 'Ah, maybe it has passed away' she thought biting her lip slightly.
"Hey, i was wondering do you know who that odd lady was at the Hufflepuff table? the one who had been giving out cookies?" That wasn't really what she had been wondering but Lyra wanted to say something at least.

As they walked, Adrienne started feeling sympathy for Lyra, knowing the longer they went the more exhausted the younger girl must be getting. Not to mention, she was starting to get a little tired of looking at cornstalks. But at least as far as she could tell, they were making headway as regarded getting out of the maze. Maybe her odd memeory about the right actually worked. Continuing to trail her fingers along the stalks to her right, she turned to look at Lyra as she spoke. "Yep. I have been since I was a first year," she replied, a bit confused by the question of her house. Maybe she's just trying to make conversation, break the silence, she thought, before the younger girl continued, and she grinned at the description. "Oh, her?," she asked, a mixture of amusement and disgust in her voice. "That's Sophie Melita. Did you ever hear about the term where the Ministry tried splitting the school into boys and girls? She showed up as the Potions teacher for the girls' school." She shuddered a little, continuing to walk although her stride faltered a little. "I think we all thought we'd gotten away from her when the school was reinstated. And those cookies? I wouldn't eat them if I were you." Not unless they wnated to deal with creepily happy people. And that was just what she remembered from Belle's. There were rumors about things that had happened with the boys, as well.

"Ahemm, Livvy. I have to find someone else inside the maze... i better go,"
she signaled as she smiled at her friend. "I promise i'll see you around. It was so great seeing you again."

After saying those words she took her chance and moved inside the maze. The inside was the usual maze Via had seen so many times. She took a left... left...right...straight..left.. wait...

Uh... no way. She was lost herself. She started chuckling to ease the feeling of nervousness. If ever she couldn't find her way out, perhaps Mr. Masterson had a way of finding trap students inside the maze he had made. She pondered on that thought and she continued to walk. Still she didn't see anyone. She was looking for Lyra yet it seemed like she would have to scream now for help.

The second year reached her arm out and grabbed the older girl by her sleeve. Motioning her to stop walking. Lyra stood on her toes trying to look over the maïze but she was too small. "I think i heard someone...laugh" she whispered to Adrienne , wondering if the girl thought that Lyra had lost her min. And to be honest, Lyra was scared that she actually had lost her mind for the laugh had died away and it was silent again. She turned around sighing but then a movement at her right caught her attention. It was black, maybe a robe? "Hey!" she shouted out of the blue, hoping that it wasn't a hallucination. "HEY!"

She stopped when she felt something moving a few meters away from her. It wasn't really dark ahead but she couldn't see a thing. She closed her eyes and decided to just feel the vibrations on where she would go.

She was startled when she heard a shout coming near her. eeeyyyYY!!! it was just an echo. But again she heard another one and she started walking towards the place where she had heard it. "Hello?" she asked in return hoping the one who shouted will answer.

Lyra didn't dare to move from her spot. What if she had been seen and hearing things and she would walk towards the black robe, getting lost again? Nuhuh Lyra was not going to do that.
So instead she started to sing a melody in a horrible voice. "LALALALAAAAAALALALAAA CAN YOU HEAR ME?" duh, if Lyra sang the whole castle had to close up.....

She stopped for a few seconds trying to catch her breath and looked at Adrienne with a raised eyebrow and grinned at her, knowing that she must have sound terrible. Lyra shouted again at the direction where she had heard a girls voice hoping she would walk towards her singing and had not ran away from it.

"That is a great help," Vivianne muttered. She could have laughed because of it but knew it was no time for laughing. She took a few steps until the path ahead was starting to brighten. She continued to follow the voice.. well horrible it could be, Vivianne needed it. Then the voice stopped and Vivianne continued walking. She started to gather up speed until she met two girl standing in the middle of the maze. "Lyra..." she said relieved to see her. "I heard someone singing and i followed it..." she told the girl.

Then the discussion over creepy cookies was interrupted by a faint sound of laughter coming from somewhere in the maze, and Adrienne found herself trying to stretch her legilimency out simply to find out if the laugh was sinister or not. While she also started wondering about her own sanity, considering she wasn't sure how long they'd been in the maze. But as her arm was grasped, she stopped, disconnecting from her search as she looked at Lyra. "I heard it too," she said to the younger girl, relieved that at least she wasn't going insane. Unless they both were, but she didn't want to consider that.

And then it seemed like Lyra had seen something, seeing as the younger girl had yelled out, only to hear a faint response. Someone else who's lost?, she thought, raising her eyebrows as Lyra started yelling and singing to try and get the person's attention again. And she wondered if it was going to get the attention of everyone within a hundred feet or something, possibly scaring them away. But she returned the amused glance as the younger girl blessedly stopped for a few minutes, unsure if she actually should say something about how bad she'd sounded. And then, in the quiet, she heard footsteps approaching, gathering speed, and she braced herself, ready to protect them if the need arose. Who knew what could be coming? She relaxed, though, as one of the other girls from earlier arrived, and spoke to Lyra. I'm surprised she didn't run away, she thought at the new arrival's comment about the singing, but simply smiled instead. No need to make a bad impression. "Well, you found us. Wanna join the escape attempt?," she asked with a grin. At least the pause had helped her gather a bit more energy to continue.

Here to Sarah was not the same to Mariel and the young Ravenclaw began to look around to orient herself to the location of the voice.

"Er, I'm over here, Sarah," she called out, before realizing how dumb that sounded. Again, her here would be different from Sarah's here. Well, Sarah's disembodied voice was on her left so would that mean she was on Sarah's right? "I'm on the right..." she called out again. "Or... I think so," she added a little less loudly, not really knowing if Sarah was facing her or not, meaning that maybe she was giving her the wrong direction. Starting to grow frustrated with herself, she simply said, "How about we just keep talking and try to follow each other's voice?" Mariel started walking slowly through the maze towards where she thought she last heard Sarah.

Starting to grow frustrated with herself, she simply said, "How about we just keep talking and try to follow each other's voice?" Mariel started walking slowly through the maze towards where she thought she last heard Sarah.

Jumping up and down was just no use, she wasn't ever going to be tall enough to look over the top of the stupid maize walls and see if anyone was the other side of them.Stupid, stupid....
Sarah kept turning on the spot trying to work out which direction she had heard Mariel's voice in, the fact sound bounces around in closed spaces wasn't helping.Although this wasn't technically a closed space, it had no roof to it, but.....yeah.She was just lost.

Over here? Yeah that wasn't helping.Neither was it going to help Mariel if that was all she could say. Then she heard her shout a direction. "Right? Your right or my right? Cos if you are facing me my right is your left....." OK she was really starting to confuse herself now, and she stood scratching her head trying to make her brain stop hurting."That could be best," she shouted her agreement with her friend about following the voices, but then she had another idea. "Mariel? Maybe it would help if we knew which way we were facing? What can you see above the walls, anything? I can just about see the castle in the direction I'm looking. If I stand on my toes anyway..." This was not the way she had envisioned this day going.

Coming to an impasse, the 15 year old turned left. That's the general direction she thought Sarah's voice had come from anyway, so that's the direction she thought best. But then she stopped as she heard Sarah calling to her again.

"Um, your right... I think," she started. "I mean, you sounded like you were on my left, but then I turned to face you so you sounded like you were in front of me... and if you turned to face my voice..." she trailed off growing increasingly frustrated and confused. Directions couldn't possibly make sense if she didn't know how Sarah was facing or how she was in relation. Trying to figure it out was making her head hurt, so she started following the sound of her voice again.

Until she said something that could possibly help orient them. The castle? Mariel looked upward and turned almost completely around until she saw the castle. "Okay... I see it now. I was going away from the castle when I came in and it was behind me." Until now, when I turned around. Sighing as she wasn't sure if that made a difference, she started along the walls again, still trying to locate Sarah's voice.

He saw her hand head towards his. It made him smile. He took hold of it, not too hard to hurt her, but hard enough so she knew that he was there. And that he was going to look after her if anything happened. "Lets go."

She was a brave girl when her hand reach for his. She'd never done that to Miles before and she knew he would make fun of her if he saw her at this moment. Yeah she read abot him in different magazines but never really met him before. "I've never met anyone famous."

As they walked inside the maze she couldn't help but press her lips together and smile. His hand responded to hers. "So do you have any brothers or sisters?". Now was the time to find out about Theo.

Duhhh.

LouAnn nodded slowly as she listened to Jake complain about how Professor Bunbury thought he'd stolen her cat. "I see. Well, does she have her cat back now?" she asked. "If she does, then maybe she'll come around eventually and not have it in for you anymore." She glanced sideways a little as she talked to Jake, and eventually, she ended up running right into a wall of corn stalks. "Ouch. I take it I was supposed to actually turn right there," she joked.

She made a sharp left turn, avoiding the wall of corn stalk this time, then laughed a little as Jake went on about the chair in Arithmancy class. "What were you trying to do anyway? Copy off my parchment?" she asked. "If you were, I have to disappoint and tell you I'm not all that brilliant. I'm a bit behind actually, since my mum's home-schooled me for a while."

Blake smiled sweetly at the girl but her name was super confusing for his slow brain, plus he lost at least a hundred brain cells when he stumbled to the ground.

"Okaay, Laroche Bianca Jayde. Don't you have err a short name or something?" Slipping his hands in her petite ones, Blake pulled the girl with shiny blonde hair up. Wiping the dirt from him bum and his hands, Blake's blue eyes flickered up and a huge grin crept on his face, "Umm Sir? NO! Haha, just Blake...no I mean, Blake." He screwed up his face for a moment, general etiquette shouldn't be directed towards him since he's rather crazy and indecent at times. However, this girl, who's name he was still trying to figure out called him Sir, whoa..felt nice.. Sir. Blake Wright, the great. Teehee.

Bianca giggled. Oops, obviously her full name was too much to handle. Snicker. "Just call me Bianca," she said, her lips spreading into a wide smile, showing pearly white teeth. Tad cheesy, but mehhh. OOOO, pretty blue eyes, poketh. Hehe, Sir Blake, Bianca liked that, so if they ended up being friends, that would be her nickname for himm, and he'd like it. Hmph. "Nice to meet you Blake," she said, another smile emitting on her face.

WOAHHH, what was that? There was an animal sitting with Blake and it was staring at her. Ummm, Bianca cocked her head to the side, trying to figure out what type of animal it was. Was it real? With a slender finger, Bianca reached out and poked it gently on it's stomach, and jumped slightly. EEEEP. "You have the cutestttttt little.. thing," she said, with a little confunded look on her face.

Eeep! Teh White teeeth, awesome.

So her name's Bianca, "Hi Bianca and the pleasure is all mine." Blake crossed his legs and bowed, ohmegosh she referred to him as Sir so she should be treated like a princess, nobody ever calls him Sir, hooow bad, hmph.

"Oh I'm so silly, completely forget to introduce you to my hammy." Blake said, placing Tazzie on his palm and the hamster started to rub itself against his cheek, "Aww isn't he cute? He's called Tazzie." He moved his palm towards Bianca, "Say hi to Bianca, boy." As soon as Blake finished his sentence, the hamster pranced towards Bianca and began to stroke himself against her cheek.

It's nick-a-name tiiime.

Smiling at the little bundle of cuteness, Blake slipped his hands in pockets while Tazzie cuddled with Bianca, "You've really pretty hair, Bia. Err can I call you Bia?" He smiled shyly, he had a thing for girls with gorgeous hair although his own hair weren't any lesser, smooth and soft chyeah!

Livvy would spend more time with other friends so then it wouldn't make her think about Rachel. Though it's not like she was going to 'use' Via. Livvy actually wanted to spend time with the girl. She hadn't seen the girl for ages and she was truly happy to see her again.

"Well....." Livvy started, but she honestly didn't know why she had thought the girl had transferred. "I dunno," she said, truthfully, grinning cheekily as she scratched her head. And then she stared at the girl. Sister? SISTER?! "Youu.... have.... a... sister?..." she questioned, with wide eyes. Showed how much she knew about her friends.

Her attention was then drawn to... diets? Livvy just snorted and shook her head. "Via. Honey. You don't need no diet. You're skinny as a stick!" she said, truthfully. Though... honestly. Her opinion really didn't matter since dieting and fatness never quite appealed to her interests. So she really shouldn't be giving out this sort of advice. Since she wouldn't really know anything about it.

Livvy laughed and shook her head. "We're geetttiiin' oooolld," she said, in her grandma voice and walked forward as if she had a cane in her hand. Hehe.

Pfft. "Do I wanna do the maze? Did you just ask me if I wanna do the maze?" Livvy asked in mock sternness, placing her hands on her hips and tapped her right foot gently on the ground. A smile broke out on her face once more and she yelled out, "Of COOUUURSSE I wanna do the maze! Nothing better than getting lost! LET'S GOOOOO!" And with that, Livvy grabbed the girl's hand and pulled her along and into the maze.

Via thought Livvy wouldn't follow but she was wrong... here she was. "Livvy," she chortled. "Sorry i somehow ran away... I just thought this girl here," she motioned for Lyra, "..somehow needed company." She grinned at her friend. For real she wanted to be with her friends...and leaving Livvy behind wasn't a good idea.

She forgot to answer Livvy's query about her sister. "I do have a sister... her name's Natalia. It was a long story how i found her..." it was actually the other way around. Via was found for she was lost. "She works at the ministry. I hope we can find time to hang out with her...she such a serious woman...works hard all day," she sighed at the thought of her sister.

STICK?!? NOOOOh.. She wasn't that thin. Although she didn't talk about it anymore. "So you have any news about old friends and new?" she asked Livvy.Vivianne was kinda getting late with things like those. She had a lot of other things on her mind and she wanted to somehow escape from it. She didn't notice that she was again movingtowards a path she didn't know.

Squeeee. Blake had just bowed and Bianca thought that it was so totaly cute, that she pulled out her skirt, crossed one leg behind the other and curtsied. With a giggle she shook her head, her long golden locks, flying all over the place. That head shake was a weird little gesture, and she had no idea why she had done it.

Hehe, it's a hammy. Bianca still had no idea what it was, but thought it was the cutest thing anyway. Bianca then squeeled as Blake introduced her to his Tazzie. "So cute!" She exclaimed, tickling the little pet under his chin. Omgosh, the little hamster was rubbing itself against her cheek. "He's adorableee," Bianca said again, showing how cute she thought he was. "How long have you had Tazzie?" She asked, her pale blue eyes looking at the animal.

Hehe. "Thank-you, I try to keep it nice and.. perfect," she said with a giggle, hoping it didn't make her look too conceited. How many times have I giggled in the last couple of minutes? Bianca thought to herself. Really, it had been like, what, ten? Aww, cute, a nickname. Now Bianca felt specialllll. Blush. "Of courseee, I like itt," she began, "I seriously love nicknames! Especially when they've been totally random, and made up on the spot," she added, with a little nod. "And I shall call you Sir Blakey, if that's okay with you," she said in a rather quiet-ish voice. Now she was the one getting shy. "Oh and looky, pretty eyes." Bringing up a sslender finger, she pointed to Blake's eyes.

Sarah stood waiting for the response from Mariel. She didn't want to move in case it took her in the wrong direction.Hopefully her idea of finding a common landmark they could both see would help. She strained trying to hear exactly where her friend was, but there were now so many people in the maze that shouting was the only way to distinguish voices.

"You know, this left, right thing is completely confusing me!" she called out in reply to her friend yet again attempting to explain it to her.Best not to waste time with that.God this maze was something else. "You can see the castle?! Oh good.Right so...ummm... if you keep walking away from it, and I keep walking towards it we should meet in the middle somewhere." Then we can stop shouting before we get sore throats.

Sarah quickened her step, rounding each corner and glancing up to check the castle was still in her field of vision. Then she came to a dead end and had to turn round and go back the other way, all the while muttering under her breath. "Remind me never to come in here again...."

But that was lots of years ago. Daddy said I was the reason he stopped playing." His eyes widened, "Did you go to the Quidditch shop over the summer. The shopkeeper is famous.
