Just when Evan faked replied to Joshua, he heard Lyddia talk. His expression immediately got friendly, and he nodded. "Yes, Evan." He then looked almost expectantly, not sure how to continue. Shyness again...
While Evan was struggling with words to talk, he saw out of the corner of his eyes that Andy Aaron and Iris got up and... were they heading to him?! Evan gasped, eyes big as tennis balls in fright. He quickly turned his back to them, and tried to cover his already-red face with his blond hair. He closed his eyes while waiting for the blow. He cursed under his breath, why had he stared? He still held a tiny hope that they wouldn't recognise him until...
"Oh hi!" he said, his voice a pitch higher than it should have been. He was again faking enthusiasm, which was more obvious than his fake to Josh. "H-how are you guys?" He felt almost relieved when he saw them holding hands... and he had no reason to feel relieved.
Cassarissa looked back at Evan and noticed he seemed shy, well nervous. "So Evan," she began hoping to help both herself and Evan out."when did you get sorted? Or did you just decide for yourself what House you wanted to be in?" she asked, suddenly full of curiosity. 'Whew! That was a close one!' she thought.

Evan was crazy in three conversations: and he knew so well which he wanted to continue, the conversations with two firstie girls. He again turned back to the girls with almost relief, and laughed at her joke. Or at least it would be a joke if she didn't look so serious. He said "No of course, we came here in the summer." He shrugged, it wasn't much of a deal.

Evan narrowed his eyes at Joshua's comment. According to his way of speaking... "So you aren't a Slytherin?"Then what are you doing at this table, go away!?"Oh... well, I shouldn't interrupt anymore, hehe." Another fake, stressed smile. Evan raised his eyebrows when he heard Lyddia's mutter. His face managed to blush even further at her words, and he quickly gulped some water, much water. He choked, and blushed even further, and dropped his fork on purpose. He quickly ducked down, and stayed down for a few minutes. When he decided that his face was back to normal, he got up and sat again... and grinned at girls. Which wasn't a wise movement.

Evelyn smiled her usual smile when Josh looked at her. "Just don't anger them." she said, sniggering a little. She looked at him in surprise when he spoke about the Gryffindor quidditch captain and trying out. "Good luck." she spoke happily.
Lyddia smiled sadly.

Helena, realizing she was feeling jealous - of all things jealous - of Nikki, quickly shook her head to clear it, her eyes slowly calming down to a stormy gray, though she was only frustrated with herself. At her question, though, Lena shook her head again, though she wasn't denying it. It's not that simple, she said finally through her teeth.
Wait now her eyes were gray, ok Nikki was seriously freaking out. "Look if you like him, that's fine. I only like him as a friend." If you could call them friends that is. But Nikki brushed some of her hair aside and waited for reply from Helena.
"I know what you mean. I think it well be a better year also. I am feeling better this year." She said with a little smile. She was thinking about her friend in Japan. He helped her a lot.
"That's great!" Fallon said to Mystic. She looked around the hall for her friends again. Dang, still no Evan.

Fallon saw Aaron show up and she kind of ignored his original request for a high-five. Finally, she gave in and gave him a high-five that made a loud slap sound. She then saw Iris come over. "Hey Iris." She tried not to laugh as Aaron greeted her in a girlish voice.

Fallon's heart skipped a beat as she noticed Evan enter the hall. It skipped a couple when he smiled at her. He sat a little bit down the table from them, but by the time she had gotten up the courage to say something, he was already deep in conversation with someone else. She sighed and turned back to the conversation Aaron and Iris were having.
She started to tune it out as she kept looking over at Evan. Then Evan turned and smiled at her again and she smiled back. Fallon was going to think out what she wanted to say before she spoke up.

Helena could tell that something was freaking her out, and she had a keen guess as to what it was after sitting with Blake on the train; she looked away but shook her head again. She did like Blake. She liked him a lot. But she was still hurting from what had happened with Chris. It was just too much right then.

Evelyn thought Josh looked distracted for a minute, and was confirmed when he said he had to leave. Her face fell, and she felt a tug at her heart. 'Wha- no. Don't leave.' She didn't really know anyone here and Josh always made her feel safe and warm, almost like home, since they first met. But she could see he really wanted to go back to his own table...where he really belonged. She saw him stand up and the sinking sensation grew. "Alright." she put on her innocent smile, hiding her emotions as always, and stood up with him. Without a second thought she hugged him again. 'Think I'm used to this hug thing now.' she thought, smiling and pulling away from him. "Really, good luck with quidditch tryouts. I know you'll do amazing." Hesitating, she sat back down again, glancing quickly at the Evan kid who was immersed in his own conversations, and then back up to Josh. "I'll drop in any chance i can get." she smirked.

Evan knew he screwed up again. He laughed along with Cassarissa, though he didn't know what she was laughing at. His mind was back to Fallon again, and he had forgotton about Lyra completely. He knew he'd pay it so bad, but he hoped that he could get out of it by saying "I saw a friend." Hopefully.
He caught Fallon look at him, and he thought, where did he wanted to be? With these firsties with who he made a fool of himself, or with pretty Fallon? He didn't have to think hard to decide. He quickly got up, not really caring of the couple right behind him. He smiled again at the girls and said "I saw a friend, and I should say hi. Nice to meet you girls, and see you around." He then turned to the couple of Iris and Andy Aaron, and said "I'm done here. If you allow me, I'll see Fallon." and without waiting for a reply, he went over to her. He had been too polite to them.

Fallon grinned wildly (without looking too insane) as Evan came and sat next to her. "Hey Evan. I'm doing great. How about you?" She had to keep her heart under control and try not to swoon over him. She also didn't want to embarass herself by looking to insane in front of Evan and Aaron and Iris.
K came back she was excited and happy to be there with her house but she had not really talked much to her friends and had only seen her boyfriend from a distance. I hope I can make new freinds soon so I don't feel so alone K thought to herself for I love being in Slytherin.
She then said "Hi everyone I'm K." Then went back to watch all the people talk and ate some pudding.

Evan knew he screwed up again. He laughed along with Cassarissa, though he didn't know what she was laughing at. His mind was back to Fallon again, and he had forgotton about Lyra completely. He knew he'd pay it so bad, but he hoped that he could get out of it by saying "I saw a friend." Hopefully.
He caught Fallon look at him, and he thought, where did he wanted to be? With these firsties with who he made a fool of himself, or with pretty Fallon? He didn't have to think hard to decide. He quickly got up, not really caring of the couple right behind him. He smiled again at the girls and said "I saw a friend, and I should say hi. Nice to meet you girls, and see you around." He then turned to the couple of Iris and Andy Aaron, and said "I'm done here. If you allow me, I'll see Fallon." and without waiting for a reply, he went over to her. He had been too polite to them.
Evan sat next to Fallon, and smiled politely. "Hi..." he greeted, and then said "How are you?"

K walked over to the girls, "Sorry excuse me but if your doing something really cool since I overheard you doing something slytherins do best may I join you I'm also a first year and I was hoping to make new friends and we are all first years too." K was hoping she could join she loved adventures and stuff and it would be nice to have new girlfriends in her house she waited with a bit of excitement.
"We should either a) be obnixious or b) mess with people." Cassarissa stated.
