not yet apparently my house doesnt like first years said Violet I shouldve tried to get into ravenclaw thougt violet but hoped that look didnt show on her face she knew if she did she probably would've regretted it but what could she say? most of here friends are in ravenclaw

Looking at the table, there were alot more people then there were on the Hogwarts Express, so it seemed. She picked a seat in the middle of the table, her happiness fading. She REALLY didn't wan to be the only Slytherin without a friend. If friends even mattered to the snakes. She looked around hoping someone would come over. After all, she wasn't the last first year to be sorted.

She hoped nothing showed though. Yup, that was Ella. Always hiding her feelings.

Lyddia looked over to a new arrival. Lyddia had been sitting here for a while waiting for someone to speak to her and it seemed as if this new girl was doing the same. She decided to be the one to approch people instead of waiting for someone to approach her.

"Hello," she said to her, as she walked up. "I'm Lyddia."

Evan was bored there waiting for Joshua to finish his conversation with his sweetheart. He saw a girl sitting lonely next to him, and turned to her with a polite smile, holding out his hand to shake when he introduced himself. "I'm Evan Cartwright, second year." he said in a thick Scouse accent, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief. He wondered if Lyra watched him, he wanted to see his reaction to girls, which would explain much of her feelings... hopefully.
Oh, just when Evan finished talking another girl appeared. Oh well, let them talk together. He shrugged, smiled to both of them politely and with waving his blond hair slightly, turned back to Joshua, looking bored now.

Cassarissa looked up and smiled, 'Maybe this won't be so hard, she thought.' She stood up. "Hi, I'm Cassarissa Lorcus." she said with a smile shaking the girl's hand. "First year too?" she scooted over. "Here, sit down."

Cassarissa turned her back on Lyddia for just a moment. "Cassarissa Lorcus, first year." said Cassarissa. "Second year? Perhaps you could show me the ropes then. Hogwarts is huge." she finished her sentence with a flourish.

Iris giggled as Aaron said hi to her. She didn't really know why ... maybe it was femininity to his voice. Iris grinned at him and high fived him. "Yeah ... Second year ..." She looked at Aaron for a moment, and watched him as he appeared to be thinking. She then noticed that Evan was sat by them nearby.

"great ..." she muttered so that only Aaron could hear her saying this. At least he hasn't tried talking to me yet ... thats a good sign. ... Maybe she really should apologise to Evan properly ... for being harsh to him ... Or maybe she should just wait until later on ... to when her and Aaron weren't 'going out' with each other, and apologise to him then ... Or maybe she should just ignore him the best she can ... Yeah, That one works.

"Yeah, I'm in first year." Lyddia said with a smile, happy to have someone to talk to. She sat down beside the girl and tried to store the girl's name into her horrible memory. She knew she would have to ask again before tomorrow.

Aaron smiled as Iris high fived his hand. He could already tell that this was going to be a good year. He saw Iris mood drop and then looked to see where she was looking. "Great pretty boy's here." he said in a whisper so that only Iris could hear. He turned back to Iris. "Is he looking?" he said to her not wanting to look at Evan.

He glanced back at Joshua again, and thought why he cared so much? He was busy, and Joshua would have to wait for his reply. He wasn't an important person, he could wait for some minutes for Evan to reply. Besides, Evan was leaving him some more minutes to talk to his sweetheart more.

He turned back to both of the girls more keenly. "Cassarissa, Lyddia." he said and smiled when he bowed with his head to each of the girls. He tucked back his blond hair yet again behind his ear, and turned his blue eyes back to them, waiting for them to say something.

Then Cassarissa asked him to show the castle. "Unfortunately, I was homeschooled last year." he said with a sad expression. "So I don't know the castle too."

Evan caught the couple's eyes on his, and blushed deeply, remembering their last conversation. He then frowned. Should they be holding hands, hugging or kissing? Or whatever couple's did? Evan wasn't an expert on romance, but he knew that much to say that they were in no that kind of touch. He shrugged, shot a smile, and hesitated... but what could he say? 'Sorry for my pervertness last time, I'm not bad?' No, it was better to shut up and wait something from them. If they wanted. He shot another smile at Fallon, and then looked back at the guy... very uneasily.

''Don't worry i'm not going to argue this time'' Josh whispered in Rose's ear feeling like a secret agent. ''I'm going to play a game to...to understand some... things'' as he spoke to her, his eyes followed Evan who surprisingly started to walk towards them. ''He's coming. See? Things are getting interesting. Pretend we were speaking about something exciting'' As Evan walked closer to them in earshot, he started to talk to Rose loudly. ''Then i went there to catch the ball but it was nowhere. I suppose the big dog'd eaten it'' he nodded seriously.

Evan sat down next to him at the very second he finished his words. That was quite interesting for someone who was as arrogant as Evan. Proud Slytherin nah! It was even more surprising when he greeted Josh. ''Hi Evan!'' he replied grinning ''How are things goin on there mate?''

Cassarissa giggled. 'Well, he is kind of cute' thought Cassarissa. But she had a disappointed look cross her face as he said she was home-schooled. "Oh. That's a shame." she said.

'This girl is awful nice. She was brave enough to come and talk to a stranger. Something I struggl with.' "So, do you have any siblings?

Helena, realizing she was feeling jealous - of all things jealous - of Nikki, quickly shook her head to clear it, her eyes slowly calming down to a stormy gray, though she was only frustrated with herself. At her question, though, Lena shook her head again, though she wasn't denying it. It's not that simple, she said finally through her teeth.

Iris couldn't help but smile as Aaron used her nick name for Evan. Still talking quietly, just to Aaron she said, "Well of course he'd be here, silly. He is a Slytherin." She let her hand find his and she linked her fingers with his. "I don't know ... He might be ... You don't think he forgot what went on in Diagon Alley, do you?" She kind of hoped that he didn't, but she kind of hoped that he did. She looked at Aaron and smiled at him shyly. Iris saw that Evan had clocked on to them looking over his way. "now He's looking ." She grinned and looked up to Fallon, to see if she was staring looking at Evan.

'Wow, a lot of action at my first night...' Evan thought as he finally departed his eyes from Andy Aaron and turned back to Joshua. He took a deep breath to ease his brain, and listened to what he said.

How were things going? "Bad, bad, BAD!' "Things are going... great. A fake laugh. "How about you?" A fake enthusiasm. Good combination of conning.

So this was it. The mighty Hogwarts castle. It certainly seemed larger than it did 2 years ago, or is that just because she had been traveling for the duration? Maybe. She shrugs off the feeling of unease that is slowly creeping up her spine. She feels as if someone, a professor from the Head Table to be precise, is staring at her back. Being an over-confident (on the outside, at least), cunning Slytherin, she slowly turns around; she is now facing all of her professors. Almost instantly, she finds out who the perpatrator is. His cold, indeterminable dark eyes that hold no signaficant emotion whatsoever meet her very own dark brown ones, which are blazing with fury, determination, and, most of all, purpose. Fire meets ice. Suddenly, as if her life depended on it, Cassandra marches up to the Head Table, with a strong stride and a hell of a lot on her mind...

"Hello," Lyddia said to the charming boy. She always was weak for the blonde ones. Especially if they had a shocking eye colour. "Evan, right?"

"Uhm, no. Not really." Lyddia replied. Or at least none that she knew of.

Aaron took a quick look at Evan and saw that he was, indeed looking. He turned back to Iris. "I'm sure he didn't. We left quite an impression." He and Iris must have been thinking the same thing because both their hands were looking for each other. He smiled at here and rotated his body to face Evan. "Well... Let's go."

Aaron got up still holding Iris' hand and walked over to where Evan was. He patted Evan's back in a friendly way. "Hey, man! What's going on!?" He said like he was excited to see him. he looked over at Iris and looked at her before lookign back.

"perfect ... I was kind of hoping that he, well ... might have forgot ..." She looked at him sheepishly, and that lovely pink blush began to creep up her neck again ...

She looked back to Aaron as he got up. Whoa! What the -? She watched him as led them over to Evan ... Oh my God ... What is he doing? She looked at him with a look that quite clearly showed this thought. She then looked to Evan ... Er ... She gave him an apologetic smile, just in case it would be needed later.

"Not really? Your not a very straight forward person are you?" Cassarissa said sarcastically. Then laughed.

Just when Evan faked replied to Joshua, he heard Lyddia talk. His expression immediately got friendly, and he nodded. "Yes, Evan." He then looked almost expectantly, not sure how to continue. Shyness again...
While Evan was struggling with words to talk, he saw out of the corner of his eyes that Andy Aaron and Iris got up and... were they heading to him?! Evan gasped, eyes big as tennis balls in fright. He quickly turned his back to them, and tried to cover his already-red face with his blond hair. He closed his eyes while waiting for the blow. He cursed under his breath, why had he stared? He still held a tiny hope that they wouldn't recognise him until...

"Oh hi!" he said, his voice a pitch higher than it should have been. He was again faking enthusiasm, which was more obvious than his fake to Josh. "H-how are you guys?" He felt almost relieved when he saw them holding hands... and he had no reasons to feel relieved.

He saw Iris smiling, which was odd. It raised his suspicions. Why would she be smiling now? Nevertheless he smiled back, though he wasn't sure if it looked more of a struggle of his lips than a smile.
