Nancy was still standing somewhat right of the door inside the classroom, shifting her weight from one foot to the other, unsure if this actually was the right place to study after all. Well, it was definitely better than the library. Okay, this was not exactly a good argument for this classroom as even the Forbidden Forest was a better place to go to than the library. So, in the end the 15 year old simply ended up leaning against the wall, as she had decided to just wait and watch for a moment to make up her mind about the whole thing. It was kind of odd that all those people had apparently individually chosen to come study here, all at the same time. Weird... Twirling a lock of dark-blonde hair around her finger Nancy in the end did walk up to a nearby seat as standing there was quite uncomfortable to be honest. Upon arriving there she quickly took out her Herbology book, mostly to make it look like she was studying something. And also for herself to not have such a bad conscience about not studying. She was looking at the book after all, that almost counted as studying right? Uhm...right... All of a sudden, right in the middle of Nancy drawing another squiggle onto a piece of parchment with the title "Herbology", there was this strange feeling spreading through her body. It somehow felt...good. But bad at the same time. All warm and mostly good, but somehow Nancy's initial reaction to it was anxiety. This was almost immediately replaced by content though as very slowly her blue eyes drifted towards the boy who had just spoken up, Copernicus. Smiling broadly at him Nancy simply nodded enthusiastically at his words and waited for him to add something else. |
Suddenly Torin felt... lightness. A weight had been lifted off of him and he felt great. There were no cares in the world and everything was wonderful. Then he heard Copernicus speak and turned his gaze to him. Yes, he knew exactly why they were gathered here and he couldn't wait to begin. |
"Laaaaa laaaa la laa deeeee dummm," he sang in a horrible voice to himself. HMMMMMM. Mooore people were coming--like seriously, he could have just gone to the quiet library for studying. Should he say hi? HI? Thinking about it, all of the people in the room either despised him or didn't care much about him. He sniffed evah so dramatically. He felt like a loooner. A LOOONERRRR. Where was Willie when ya needed him??? He continued scribbling on the parchment--but suddenly he felt a sudden surge of... unexplainable force. It was as if his mind just... ticked. With the last second of his consciousness left, he gasped--too late--he stood up in a robotic manner, facing the older Ravenclaw. |

This feeling was amazing, it was like nothing could harm her and it was very warm. She nodded her head when the guy had started to speak, oh yes she knew why she was here. |

Then, she had this sudden urge to look at Copernicus Kettleburn. Closing her book, not even minding that she didn't finish her studying, she turned around in her seat to where her eyes locked with the seventh year Ravenclaw. She slowly nodded her head in reply to his question. Yes, she knew why they were here. |
Reid felt a sudden warm feeling of happiness and contentment hit him. Not so strange since he and Rachel were talking again but it was still out of the ordinary. Feeling a tug on his mind Reid turned and faced Copernicus. A sudden rush of information hit him and he shook his head, eyes clearing slightly. "But it isn't right to do that." he said, speaking directly to the other boy, fighting against the happy feelings yet not able to throw them off. His eyes were half clouded and half not. It was a struggle he knew he would eventually lose. |
Brody threw a glare in Reese Upstead's direction. So maybe the girl had been sat next to Torin, but Brody had wanted to sit next to Torin, he was her boyfriend after all, and what Brody wanted. Brody got. She was about to say something about that in fact when she felt a warm fuzzy feeling, what was that? She certainly hadn't felt it before. As a matter of fact she totally forgot that she had actually had intended to talk to Torin, and now that giving Copernicus Kettleburn her full attention, for he seemed to be on the same wave length that she was now on. |

Frowning, the 15 year old tried to make sense out of the thoughts going through her head. But she just couldn't. Every thought that she tried to grasp slipped away, it was like trying to catch ghosts. Shaking her head in effort to retain something, some sliver of a thought, but then why? Suddenly realizing that she felt happy, that she didn't have a burden or a care in the world. Well, looks like the night was looking up. Smiling, she looked up and her eyes instantly focused on the older Ravenclaw who was speaking. Made sense that a Ravenclaw was in charge, and she did know why she was here. The Ravenclaw boy was about to tell them what they were going to do and she would gladly comply. After all, he was a fellow Ravenclaw. |
Satine was absolutely stressed this year...she felt lost in all of her classes, which was not a normal for her. She had heard of a classroom that could help you focus a little bit more and that was quiet for you to work on your homework. She wandered through the halls and finally found the correct door, she hurriedly opened the door and was disappointed to find the classroom pretty full but she instantly felt an urge to enter the classroom. She looked around anxiously trying to find a seat or someone she knew. |

"Someone will shut and lock the door." |
Tibi felt quite at ease, despite so many people being in the room. It was.. odd, really. But Copernicus was directing them and that made him feel ok. He was a good guy, Tibi thought. Smiling up at Cope, Tiberius jumped to his feet and went to close and lock the door. "Got it!" Tibi bounded back to where he had been sitting and plopped down, looking at the older boy expectantly. |
Torin was confused as to what was going on, but he was okay with it at the same time. Copernicus was a cool guy and even though he didn't know why he wanted to attend a meeting like this it made sense to him at the same time. He cast a glance at the newcomer and glared at her for holding them up. But Cop seemed to deal with things okay and as soon as the door was closed and locked he smiled. Things were going to start very soon. |
The warm and fuzzy feeling was replaced with a feeling of annoyence that she couldn't explain when a Ravenclaw girl entered the classroom. Lyra glared at her but didn't know why, she just had the feeling to be annoyed. The second year looked back at the guy and smiled when someone had stood up to close the door and lock it. It was odd but Lyra had had the same feeling to do the exact same thing. She leaned back in her chair and waited for the guy to say something else. |
Reese's eyes flickered over to the new arrival, then she suddenly felt displeasure and annoyance by the fact that this girl was walking into the room. As Copernicus asked someone to close the door, she was about to get up and close and lock the door, but some little Ravenclaw boy was already up and heading over to the door. Her eyes followed the Ravenclaw's journey to the door and back to his seat before she fully placed her attention on Copernicus. |
Once the door was locked, and they were all looking at him again, Copernicus holstered his wand. His expression was bland, perfectly blank, as he looked over the gathered students. "We are faced with a crisis, my friends. We are faced with an infection in our school, a pervasive evil that is challenging our safety and the wholesomeness of our way of life. And you all are here today because you KNOW that we cannot stand idly by while werewolves and werewolf-lovers infiltrate our beloved grounds and poison the minds of those too weak to see the truth. You all are here today because you care enough to fight against evil among us. You are the brave ones. The heroes." |
Too right. That's what Jake might have said if he'd had half a mind right now to do anything he wanted, kind of... but no, he would be silent... this time was for Copernicus to talk, whilst Jake would sit here with that niiiiiiice warm and fuzzy feeling, nodding occasionally. |
Reese nodded her in to show that she agreed with Copernicus, but she did not speak a word. She listened closely to everything the Ravenclaw was saying. Exactly, they CAN'T just stand by and watch as the filthy werewolfs and werewolf-lovers inhabit the school - her second home. She nodded again, and just like before, she remained quiet. It was Kettleburn's time to talk, not hers. |
Every word that Copernicus spoke was the utter truth. And it was about time that someone had voiced this opinion. He was a genius for setting us this meeting, and Torin backed him up all the way. People like Lupa were infesting this school and had to be dealt with. Even the Headmaster. And then there were the supporters. He snorted as he imagined people backing up vile monsters like Werewolves. I hope Professor Bunbury isn't pro Werewolf.. |
Listening carefully as the older student spoke once more, AInsley nodded in agreement as she absorbed his words. She absently closed her book infront of her, nothing else seeming to be important at the moment but what was being discussed. Werewolves she thought to herself before giving a shiver at the thought of people protecting the creatures. How could anyone like them. The brainwashing under the imperious taking hold in the younger girl's mind. |
Satine immediately felt annoyed at herself when she saw the face of a boy who seemed to be running the meeting but her annoyance soon faded as he began to speak. She was instantly seeing things kind of cloudy but in her head the truth about werewolves came flooding into her brain. She was instantly sure about something....she was sure that werewolves were the enemy above anything else. She had never felt so much hatred for anything before..... And for the first time, her smile faded as she thought about the werewolf lovers out there....they all had to be stopped. |
Lasca listened as the older Ravenclaw spoke and with every word she became more convinced that what he said was so right. The werewolves and those that were pro-werewolf, they just needed to go. They were polluting the school, her home away from home and it needed to stop! Nodding her head in absolute agreement, she continued to listen. This Ravenclaw knew what he was talking about without a doubt. |

LouAnn was...brave, though? Her? Brave? Really? She'd never been told she was brave before. Not unless you counted the fact that the sorting hat put her in Gryffindor, that is. No one had ever called her a hero either. She looked at Copernicus in admiration, as if he were the hero, and she was just simply just not worthy. She wanted to make him proud of her. She wanted to do whatever she could to rid the school of the evil he spoke of. |
SPOILER!!: pre-Cope quotes xD Adrienne smiled as the Slytherin girl who had been looking at her Runes book responded to the suggestion, and leaned over again. "Yeah, Runes is only second to Potions as far as I'm concerned. I don't really understand either." She flipped through a few pages of her Runes textbook, looking up again as the girl talked about how her idea of studying together might be better. "Hopefully," she said, before wondering if she should introduce herself. But the girl's attention was taken away before she could, and she glanced back at Torin as he seemed a bit confused by her ranting from earlier. "Never mind, Torin. Just some things that have been bugging me, but obviously you didn't know about them." She had to admit to herself, she was surprised he didnt at least know about her enmity with Dominic at least. Even Cela had spazzed over her losing points for her shoes. Which didn't realy have to do with the head boy, but it did mean her shoes got attention. And then Brody was getting all the attention, from Torin, and it seemed everyone else, including the Slytherin Runes girl, and Adrienne sighed a little as she went back to her attempts to study. At least the girl hadn't left, so if she wanted to talk again, it was still possible. Quote:

Still struggling against the spell Reid couldn't help but to turn and give Kettleburn his full attention. Half of him agreed with what the boy was saying. All werewolf lovers and werewolves had to be gotten rid of. Exterminated like the bugs they were. But what if Rachel is pro-werewolf? If she was he wouldn't be able to hurt her. Not his Rachel. However even though he had conflicting thoughts he found himself nodding, showing Kettleburn his support in this matter. The part of him that Kettleburn had control over was growing and making his mind up for him about an issue he had previously been undecided upon. Reid would do what was needed but for now all he was to do was listen to Copernicus speak and wait for instructions on how they would proceed with their efforts. |
As Jake sat there, a third presence seemed to come over him, an angry kind that knew exactly what was going on and didn't like it one bit. This boy was his... HIS! Nobody else's. For a moment, as the Jake-that-wasn't-Jake began to try and fight the spell, the boy looked up at Cope. He was on The List. Buuuuuuuut, then the warm and fuzzy feelings came back, and Jake was content to do whatever Copernicus told him once more. |
